DaRT relevant countries

Hi,
My Company is starting a data archiving in the system, before Data Archiving we wanted to implement the DaRT.
As our ERP system is available in 100+ countries it is not fesaible to run the DaRT extract for all companies.
If anybody has the list of countries for which DaRT is mandatory please pass on to me.
Thanks and Regards,
Ankit Gupta

Dear Ankgupta,
surely there are countries listed in official documents for DART usage based on projects or official SAP documentation.
DART Solutions available for: Germany, USA, Portugal, Poland
Countries covered by Standard DART: Austria, Switzerland, Netherland, Czechia and others.
Counties which has to be extended in DART: Hungary, Spain, France.
On top other countries like Italy or Russia are legally allowed to request everything but you might not get a clear statement
by the country. Besides I  know from my previous projects that Brasil, Canada and Mexico also requested the usage of DART with extensions.
Therefore  I would suggest that you first organize meetings with your HQ tax responsible to implement a sign off procedure which allows you to get a clear overview about each single country. This sign-off procedure should easily ask the countries if they need DART and if the current field catalogue is sufficient This is only way how to make it correctly on long-term as only the country responsible can decide if they need DART for Tax Audits. They know their law at its best. Currently more and more countries decide to switch to electronically tax audits; you would never be updated  without them.
Based on this sign-offs you can prepare your Data Archiving preparation country by country.
As you have very strong dependencies between the residency and retention times of the countries, DART extracts and also between several archiving objects. You should have a look in the service market place service.sap.com/ilm. There you will find an excel spreadsheet which clearly shows you the full dependencies between DART and each archiving object.
If you think for this activity you need consultancy I would suggest to ask SAP directly for support.
They know the right persons which can support you and help you to get in contact to other SAP customers
which have a similar problem like you.
I hope my small explanation could help a little bit.
kind regards
Bernd Nowack

  • Publishing iPad app in different countries/apps stores

    hi everyone
I have a few questions I'm hoping someone can help me with.
We are close to submitting our free app, and we would like it to feature in several english-language territories (mainly UK, US, Canada, Australia etc). Each issue will be the same in all countries, apart from local contact details and links relevant to our offices in the relevant countries.
    So...
Can we publish the same app in different countries from one DPS account?
I'm assuming (hoping) that downloads of the issue in each country count towards your total downloads - and you dont need a DPS account for each territory. Is that correct?
I'm also assuming your total download package is spread over cumulative issues (so issue 1, 2 and 3 would all count to your total within a year)
Do the DPS analytics (or iTunes Connect) allow you to see how many downloads you have had per territory/country?
If the app is on the US app store, would a UK customer be able to get it (and vice versa) - or you can you restrict it so its only available to people in that country?
We have a meeting on this tomorrow - any help appreciated.
    Thanks guys
    M

i faced same problem when i downloaded an app shayari in hindi language but then i lost that app completely when i changed to another country's store

  • How do you produce both Customs Export & Import documentation in an STO?

    Hello All -
How do you produce both Customs Export & Import documentation in an STO scenario? For instance, if a company would like to create a STO in SAP to move materials from one plant to another and would like to produce both the Export & Import paperwork in GTS, what documents would be needed in R/3 to make this possible?
Would the following be needed, or is there some other way?
    - STO
    - Outbound Delivery & F8 Invoice to generate the Customs Shipment in GTS for the Export documentation
    - Inbound Delivery to generate the Customs Declaration in GTS for the Import documentation

    Thanks Sameer -
Yes, for the Import documentation, I think we will be declaring prior to Goods Receipt, so we will first use the Inbound delivery, and then the GR document later on once the materials have been received. (I believe you and I were talking about some of this in another thread actually.) Thank you for confirming this.
As for the Note, I have also seen this - but thought that this was to more or less give visibility to the sending plant up-front at STO of what export licenses might be needed. (According to the note, currently they would only be able to check if licenses were needed at the outbound delivery, and not on the PO)
Per the note: "Given a Stock Transport Purchase Order scenario: Plant A in Germany issues a STO PO against vendor plant US10 in the US. GTS looks at the PO in terms of importing from the US (departure country) coming into Plant A in Germany and performs compliance checks. Meanwhile, exporting plant US10 only has visibility at outbound delivery creation to see if am Export License is needed. Exporting plant US10 may want to know if they need a license to the country of destination, in this case Germany, at STO PO creation."
However with the proper country-level export/import activation of the legal regulations, I believe that you can still have the STO check export-related licenses even though it is mapped to GTS as IMPORD. I have done some testing on this and it appears to work (you just need to ensure that you are activating the relevant countries for export/import properly in the legal regulation, and you can have both export & import documents check the same legal regulation and deliver the correct license determination). I was just wondering if you had any experience with this that was contrary to what I have found, or if there is something you think I am missing..
    Thanks

    <b>Plants abroad:</b> Sales-specific settings
    Description
If plants exist abroad for a company, i.e. in the same company code, (within the EU), the tax postings and the trade statistics for the goods flow between these plants are required for (INTRASTAT) internal EU trades statistics. In SD, this applies to replenishment and consignment.
You can meet these requirements by carrying out billing with special settings in pricing for the relevant transactions:
Because the INTRASTAT declarations were created using billing documents and the tax postings were created using financial accounting documents, billing documents are created for consignment fill-ups or pick-ups and replenishment deliveries although they are not relevant for billing. However, because there are no amounts the billing document has a total value of 0, obtained using a special pricing procedure (see below). INTRASTAT declarations and tax postings (the billing document is forwarded to FI) are created based on the resulting billing documents.
Do not make these settings if the plant abroad is not in the EU. All that is required is a pro-forma invoice.
    Change system parameters in customizing
You can find Customizing for 'Plants abroad' in the IMG via 'Sales and Distribution/Basic functions/Taxes/Plants abroad "Plants abroad".)
A special pricing procedure (RVWIA1) is assigned to the new billing document (billing type WIA) defined for replenishment deliveries and consignments between EU countries. This pricing procedure has the following structure:
          1. Pricing condition (PR00)
          2. Input tax in destination country (based on pricing condition)
          3. Output tax in country of departure (that is, 0% on deliveries within the EU)
          4. 100% discount R100 (based on pricing condition)
          5. Output tax in destination country (based on the 100% discount)
This causes the total value of the billing document to be 0. The discount annulls the price. Input and output tax have the same percentage rate so that the total of the tax posting is zero and the total billing document has value 0.
    Changes to the interface
    Stock transfer
Replenishment deliveries between different EU countries are relevant for billing. The billing status is A.
The origin of the VAT registration number (billing header) has a new value: J
    Consignment fill-up / pickup
Consignment fill-ups / pickups between different EU countries are relevant for billing. The billing status is A.
The origin of the VAT registration number (billing header) has a new value: J
During consignment fill-up, the coutry of the ship-to party is now used as the departure country country for tax determination.
    Changes in procedure
Deliveries that occur as a result of a stock transfer order, can be billed if the delivering and receiving plants are in different EU countries and belong to the same company code.
Consignment fill-ups and pickups can be billed if the delivering plant is in an EU country and the consignment stores are in a different EU country. The consignment fill-up is then no longer relevant for the INTRASTAT declaration.
Condition records must be created for tax conditions WIA1, WIA2, and WIA3.
          1. WIA1: Input tax in country of destination.
The tax code for the tax determination procedure of departure country must agree with the tax code of the country of the company code. This is because the tax code is accessed via the company code country during forwarding to FI. The field 'reporting country' (that is - country of destination) must be maintained in the characteristics of the tax code.
          2. WIA2: Output tax in the country of departure (0 % for EU-internal deliveries)
          3. WIA3: Output tax in country of destination.
The tax code for the tax determination procedure of departure country must agree with the tax code of the country of the company code. This is because the tax code is accessed via the company code country during forwarding to FI. The field 'reporting country' (that is - country of destination) must be maintained in the characteristics of the tax code.
The total of the taxes has a value of 0. The total of the billing document also has a value of 0. The price is reduced by 100% using discount R100.
    Procedure for removing dataset errors
    Note:
When you maintain the tax indicator, remember that the tax indicator must be maintained at the same time in different tax determination procedures, or that you have to create a general tax determination procedure containing the tax indicators of the different relevant countries.

  • Mateial Valuation

    hi SAP Gurus,
we are having  STRANGE problem in our project. actually our client have two types of plates (raw materials). Imported & domestic plates. cost is different for both plates. the difference is nearly half of the amount. when client do production using domestic plate (Raw material) > Semi finish> Finish, they get some amount say xyz. but when they do production using imported plate (Raw material) the amount is not the same. same procedure (E.g. routings, work centers) is used for both production. for domestic & imported plate, single material code is used. could u please tell me how to map this in SAP? How system will differentiate the Domestic RM Production cost and Import Raw Material Production cost?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ramesh

    Dear Ramesh ,
I would suggest you explore in the below option .U need to deal with Valuation type and valution category in Material Master level or Stock level.
Now if your material is subject to split valuation, the material is managed as several partial stocks, each partial stock is valuated separately.
Each transaction that is relevant for valuation, be it a goods receipt, goods issue, invoice receipt or physical inventory, is carried out at the level of the partial stock. When you process one of these transactions, you must always specify which partial stock is involved. This means that only the partial stock in question is affected by a change in value, the other partial stocks remain unaffected.
Alongside the partial stocks, the total stock is also updated. The calculation of the value of the total stock results from the total of the stock values and stock quantities of the partial stocks.
You define whether the material is subject to split valuation on the accounting view of the material master record. There are two fields for this:
The valuation category specifies which criterion should be used as the basis for differentiating between the various partial stocks :
Every material subject to split valuation is assigned to a valuation category in the material master record. The material can then be managed using the valuation types defined for this valuation category.
The valuation type specifies an individual characteristic of a partial stock :
There are valuation types for each valuation category, which specify which individual characteristics exist for that valuation category. If you give the valuation types meaningful keys, each valuation type in some way represents the name of a sub-stock.
    Example 1:
You procure a material both from in-house production and from external vendors. You want to valuate the stocks from each source separately. In this case, you select Procurement type as the valuation category (B) and Internal and External as valuation types.
    Example 2:
You procure a material from several countries. You want to valuate the stocks from each country separately. In this case, you select Origin as the valuation category (H). As valuation types, you define the relevant countries, for example, Italy and France.
    Example 3:
You procure a material in different grades. You want to valuate the stocks of each class separately. In this case, you select Quality as the valuation category (Q). As valuation types, you could define A, B, C, and D.
Hope this will help you to get an idea.
    Reward point if useful

  • Preference Duty rates

    Hi,
We have to upload the preference duty rates specific to NAFTA,ALADI, EUR manually.
Please let me know where exactly in the GTS system we maintain these duty rates.
    Regards
    Nag

    Hi Nag,
Assuming that you are using GTS 10, you maintain the Duty Rates in the Customs Management > Classification area.
Choose tab "Classification Master Data", and find "Maintain Customs Duty Rates" at the right-hand side of the screen.
It's most efficient to maintain the rates at Country Group level - of course you need to have set up suitable Country Groups containing the relevant countries - and you will use Duty Type 'B200'.
In the data record, your choice for the "Type of Pref. Doc." will depend on how you have set up the Code List entries for Preference Certificates.
    Hope that helps.
    Regards,
    Dave

  • Dependencies between Input Controls

    Hello, Experts.
I have a trouble with my input controls in webi report XI 3.1.
Problem statement: There are documents that have authors and executors. Report has two input controls (combo box) "Authors" and "Executors" that are filtering crosstable. When I change value of Author's control - crosstable has changed and executors that is one of axis of crosstable has changed too. But the list of values in Executor's control isn't changing. It shows the list of all values and don't restrict it regardless value from Author's control.
Is this a feature of input control ? or I place a mistake ?

    Hi Marianne,
I read your post and I thougt I've got the answer to my question but it doesn't seem to work.
I've got two dimensions "region" and "country". I want do filter the relevant countries according to the regions so that the drop down filter "country" (report filter bar) shows only the countres within the specific region. According to your advice I placed "region" as a first filter, but still all countries are shown. And it seems that input controls have a limitation in this matter. Any ideas?
I'm using an excel file as my source (no universe) and webi 4.

  • Personal Document Numbers

    Hi guys!
I need to get some help about personal documents in SAP HR:
SAP has the 0465 infotype to maintain brazilians personal documents (country specific) but, I'm in a international project and I can't to use this one.
So, I need to know if SAP has another one to maintain personal document numbers from employees instead the 0465 infotype.
I don't need maintain a copy from documents (scanning), just the numbers (passport numbers, identity card number and so on)
    Ideas?
    best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi,
Iu2019ve just now given some information in this thread:
Chile - National insurance number RUT
Infotype 0185 can be used internationally for storing different types of document numbers. You will have to configure each document type as a subtype for the relevant countries. The table and IMG path is in the above thread.
    Hope this helps.

  • Where can I replace my iphone 4s in qatar?

I bought an iPhone 4s from Doha International Airport, It is not at any carrier support. Now speakers of my phone are not working, no sound is comming, It doesnt ring or have no sound while I play music or video, tough the sound from headphones are ok and vibrating is working when I have a call but no sound at all.
I tried everything like restore, reset settings...
So where can I replace my phone? Any apple store in Doha or middle east?

Not sure who Protechnology are ?
But this link will enable you find out service options in The Middle East
find the relevant countries from the drop down country menu
However  if the iPhone did originate from Canada then you will, as ip_W said have to return it to Canada but strange how it
got out to an Airport shop in the M E as it is a iPhone4S and they are still difficult to get hold of

  • Can I use officially unlocked iPhone in different countries?

I'm moving to Rome with my job for eight months, then on to Chicago for four months, then back to London. I'm trying to find out if I buy an unlocked Pay as You Go iPhone in one of the various EU countries selling manufacturer unlocked units (France, Germany, Italy, etc) , will it work in each country if I switch to that country's telecom's Sim cards.
The blogs and iPhone dedicated websites are full of opinions but no one seems to have definitive experience doing this. Some users say it should work, others say the EU iPhones are unlocked for the specific country of purchase but will not work with another country's telecom's Sim cards. The Apple Stores will not confirm any usage outside their own country. Similar response from the relevant telecoms. The Apple Support pages do not make any reference to cross country usage beyond roaming.
A privately unlocked iPhone is an option but I prefer an official unlock so there are no hassles. Not looking for opinions here - can find more than enough on the internet. I'm looking for actual first hand experience using these officially unlocked iPhones between countries.

Thanks for the correction on the relevant carriers. Looking at the European options: Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, and Czech Republic should work based on details from Apple's carrier list.
Before I buy I would like to confirm someone has actually purchased an unlocked iPhone in either Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg or Czech Republic and used it with Sim cards from another country.

  • Item not relevant for Billing but still exist in Billing due list VF04

    Hi Experts,
I am experiencing an issue where this is an STO scenario.
The PO->DN->PGI->GR (Receiving plant) where there is no invoice required as its with the same company.
However, I can see there is one Delivery still getting reflected in VF04 due list.
Standard Delivery type NL has been used and already checked the item categoy relevance and its
maintained as J ( Relevant for deliveries across EU countries.) I dont think so this was billed earlier as I had already checked the Deliveries created with same item category for past six months and they have not been billed.
Is there any other settings that needed to be checked apart from item cateogry and verifying how the same combination of Delivery type and item category worked earlier?
    IBest Regards,
    Ramesh

    Dear Ramesh,
You may be right that with the same item category settings, there were no billing item generated (with the billing indicator as J in your Item Category) earlier. But how now it is happenning the other way round.
    Here are the reasons:
The outbound delivery is relevant for billing if: (YOUR PRESENT CASE)
    1. The Plants abroad active field is selected (found in Customizing under Financial Accounting -> Financial Accounting Global Settings -> Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Basic Settings -> Plants Abroad -> Activate Plants Abroad)
    2. Country of departure (country where the plant is located) and destination country (country where the ship-to party is located) need to be different EU countries.
So, if you dont satisfy the above two conditions you will not get the billing item and that's what has happenned in your past 6 Months.

  • More countries, non-english speaking institutions?

    Hi,
I wonder if anyone here has any information on the possibility of iTune U to accept in the future non-english speaking universities from countries other than the current short list.
I work in a Portuguese University with a multi-secular history and relevant position in the Portuguese speaking world (http://www.uc.pt) and iTunes would provide us with an innovative opportunity for suplying educational content to the over 200 million speakers of portuguese.
I have looked around but found no information on this, except the application form that stops me at step 2.

We are trying to register our institution: UPR Mayaguez Campus (UPRM) in iTunes U, but it stops at step 3, at the point "select state". US Territories are not included. There are no options other than states. Our Campus is credited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and is a leading institution in Engeneering. Please consider to include US territories and other countries in the iTunes U.

  • Multiple countries live in SAP, system logon in English...

    Hi,
We currently have an MDMP R/3 system that has been configured to allow users to logon in RU (amongst other CEE countries) so they can enter data in Russian, but the system remains in English.  We have achieved this without actually installing the full languages.
Now we are upgrading to ECC6.0 and we have a new country that wishes to go-live within the new system, is there a new way of achieving this same goal, that is, allowing the new users from the new country to enter data in local language whilst still having the system in English.  I believe native Unicode will allow this for simple data entry, but the problem I foresee is that we will need to maintain certain master data in local language (for example GL Account Descriptions and Cost Centre descriptions), Ibelieve for some Master Data, for example Cost Centres, we canu2019t maintain these descriptions while logged in with language u2018ENu2019. If we entered the new country description while logged in with language u2018ENu2019, it would overwrite the English description. You need to log in with new language, and then enter the new description - not possible without a full install.
Also we have sapscript outputs maintained in local language, don't we need the language installed to achieve this?
    Advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Ade

    Hi Ade,
as you already wrote, Unicode will allow users to insert data from any country independently of the logon language. Therefore from this technical perspective, the logon language is not relevant anymore (in contrast to MDMP, where it is mandatory to use the correct logon language).
However from a standard perspective, the SAP system is designed for logon with the correct language (in Unicode and in Non-Unicode). This can be seen in some customizing areas (where in fact the logon language is taken automatically) as well as in the area of smart forms, which uses the logon language.
There is no significant difference between e.g 4.6C and ECC 6.0 regarding this specific area.
However as far as I know there are some customers who manage to use EN as logon language for e.g. Scandinavian Users. But I do not have details how they manage the mentioned areas.

  • Third party sd order (TAS) intrastat relevant in SD invoicing?

    Hi,
In the scenario of a third party order (TAS item category) is it required to use the SD invoice for intrastat?
I think not, because the PO is purchasing intrastat relevant and the vendor should report his invoice as intrastat relevant. But in standard SAP the TAS is intrastat relevant, so maybe I made a mistake?
    Best regards,
    Eric van Zundert

    Hi,
    I cannot follow your remark.
    An example of the situation:
Company A in country A invoices customber B in country B.
The delivery comes from country C by vendor C.
All countries are situated within de EC
The question is: is the invoice from Company A to customer B intrastat relevant?
In other words: is item category TAS in SAP intrastat relavant during billing the end customer?
    Thank you,
    Eric.
