Data Warehouse - Synchronization Performance view not available/working

Hi!
How can I populate this view. I have no Performance counters to choose from. see attached picture. Come to think of it, I have a lot of empty views and reports - why is that?

Exchange 2010 Management Pack Data Warehouse Synchronization Fails

Hi Everyone!
Has anyone had success with importing the Exchange 2010 management pack into Service Manager 2012?
When we try to import it, it fails.
Upon further investigation, the 'System Center Core Monitoring' management pack (which is not included with Service Manager 2012) is a dependency of the Exchange 2010 management pack but
after we import it from the OpsMgr 2012 media, we still get the following warning when we import the Exchange 2010 management into Service Manager 2012...
"The management pack was imported successfully.
Warnings (1):

...and, the Exchange 2010 management pack status in the Service Manager 2012 Data Warehouse 'Management Pack' view indicates 'failed' after the MPSyncJob completes.
We have a few 'Business Services' which depend on the Exchange 2010 management pack that we are trying to synchronize from OpsMgr 2012 and we are stuck until we can get the Exchange 2010 management
successfully imported into Service Manager 2012 and have it show a status of 'Completed' the Service Manager 2012 Data Warehouse 'Management Pack' view.
Nothing useful in the
Service Manager 2012 Data Warehouse and Management servers events logs that we could see.
Any help or guidance would be GREATLY appreciated!

Update: I Just tested with CU2 installed for SrvMgr 2012 and OpsMgr 2012 and version 14.3.38.2 of the Exchange 2010 management, but the management pack still fails to deploy to the SrvMgr 2012 data warehouse (the management pack status shows
up as 'failed' and the MPSyncJob shows the management pack as 'pending association'). The only clue I have for this problem is the folllowing warning which occurs when I import the management pack into SrvMgr 2012...
I also get the following 33519 Event ID warning in the Operations Manager event log on the data warehouse server...

Has anyone had success with getting the Exchange 2010 management pack imported and successfully deployed to the SrvMgr 2012 data warehouse?
The good news is that even though the Exchange 2010 management pack has a status of failed, the distributed applications in OpsMgr 2012 that depend on the Exchange management pack now show up under Configuration Items/Business Services including
all related service component objects which was what I was trying to accomplish in the first place, so for now I'll just leave the Exchange 2010 management pack in the data warehouse with a failed status.

Data Warehouse Synchronization server - too many entries

I am having problems with app advisor not getting performace data. I believe that it is due to the Data Warehouse Synchronization
server having too many entries as I only have 1. How do I remove a server?

Seems you need to restore the OperationsManager Database from the previous backup, try the methods in the kb.

Windows 8 - Adobe PDF Viewer Not Available

I have two new Dell touchscreen laptops with Windows 8 (not 8.1).
I am unable to get the tile/app integrated browser to open PDF files. Upon downloading a PDF it reports "Adobe PDF Viewer Not Available".
I've gone to the app store from Microsoft, and downloaded the tile/app reader, and it reports being installed....but no joy. I've gone to the Adobe site, and looked for and installed any/all Windows 8 viewers I can find, but it still doesn't work.
I CAN view PDF files by clicking on the Windows key, clicking on the desktop, opening IE, then using the Adobe Reader 11 that was installed. This seems so pointless, because the only way to view a PDF is to take about 4 extra clicks than I do in Ubuntu, Windows 7, or a Mac.
What's up with this?

Internet Explorer has two versions on Windows 8/RT.
(a) The desktop version of IE supports plugins and accelerators. This is the version that you launch from the Windows 8/RT desktop.
(b) The Windows Store app version (with "Modern" or "Metro" UI) of IE is touch-optimized, full screen, and plugin free. This is the version that you launch by tapping/clicking the tile in the Start screen.

Similarly, Adobe Reader also has two versions on Windows 8/RT.
(a) The desktop version is called Adobe Reader XI. It is a mature product that has been available in the market for the past 20 years and offers a rich set of features. It supports in-browser viewing of PDFs by installing the browser plugin to the desktop version of IE. However, the downsides of the desktop version are the incompatibility with the Windows RT operating system and security vulnerabilities. In general, the desktop version is less secure than the Windows Store app version.
(b) The Windows Store app version is called Adobe Reader Touch. It is a relatively new product that was introduced a year ago. It does not support in-browser viewing of PDFs because of the security restrictions that are imposed on all Windows Store apps. It is compatible with both Windows 8 and RT operating systems.
Because the Windows Store app version of IE is designed to be plugin-free, no other desktop/Windows Store apps (hence, not even Adobe Reader XI) can install additional plugins (other than the Flash support that is built-in by default).
If you want the in-browser PDF viewing support, you need to use the desktop version of IE and the desktop version of a PDF viewer like Adobe Reader XI.
This is the application architecture decision that Microsoft has made deliberately. It's not a bug or oversight.
Microsoft has the Windows Store app version of PDF viewer called "Reader". It may be possible for Microsoft to add the in-browser PDF viewing support using Reader (just like Google Chrome does) in a future release of the Windows Store app version of IE. But it did not happen in the newer version of the operating systems: Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1.

This error message will appear erraneously, if you skipped the update to Mavericks and iPhoto 9.5.1 and went straight from an earlier MacOS X version to Yosemite, without first updating to iPhoto 9.5.1 and associating iPhoto to your AppleID.
Try first to buy iPhoto with your AppleID instead of updating. Delete iPhoto from Applications, but don't empty the Trash, then go to the main page of the App Store and search for iPhoto. If you are lucky, it will show as free and you can buy it directly.
If iPhoto is not showing as free, there is no help but contacting the App Store Support: Ask for a redemption code. You will need to provide a prove of purchase for your mac with iPhoto preinstalled.

Grid Control performance tab not available when on the target home of ASM

I noticed recently that the "Performance" tab/link is not available when you are using 10g Grid Control and you are on the home page of an ASM instance. Can this be explained?

I try to help you. The OEM Grid Control in some times not discover the Oracle 9i databases and you must to add manually.
First, check in your target machine that the user owner of agent software have rights of read and write in the ORACLE_HOME directories of Oracle 9i databases.
Go to Grid Control Console
Select Targets ---> Databases
Press Add --> Select the host ebisdb2.oneshield.com and press continue
The automatic discover process begin. When finished is very normal that nor discover the Oracle 9i databases. You press the Add manually button
in the page that appear you must entry all the configuration information of database:
ORACLE_HOME directory
DBSNMP USER
DBSNMP PASSWORD
HOSTNAME
PORT
SID
Check that the dbsnmp user in your database is unlock and press the TEST button to verify the connection work fine.
After this many windows appear of configuration process, and you will put the sys password and host credentials.

Views not available in Discoverer Plus

Hi Gurus,
I have created some views using Oracle 10 g Disco Admin v 9.0.4 and I am able to access them from Disco Desktop v 9.0.4
However, when I log in to Discoverer Plus, those views are not available. I am logging with the same user id that I am using for desktop. Some of the users who are on the previous version of Disco Desktop are facing the same problem. First I thought it might be a version mismatch issue, but now it is happening with Disco Plus too.
Here is the Disco Plus version details:

The data aquisition sub.vis are not available on my toolbar.

I found a document that said that some options may not be loaded because of the DAQ board or other hardware that is installed. I was trying read the signal on my
board using AI Sample Channel.vi but it is not available in the toolbar. Is this not the way you would do it with this board? This is the way the manual states to do it. I'm simply trying to
connect my VI to my DAQ board. I've used the channel naming conventions.
How do I get the data into my VI?
I've tried to reinstall the software, and install the missing parts but I get 'error 1605' while reloading the software.

I was wondering if you are able to see the Data Acquisition subpalette in your functions palette. The AI Sample Channel.vi should be in this palette if it shows, if it doesn't you may have to reinstall NIDAQ. Make sure that you unistall all previous versions of NIDAQ on your machine from Control Panel-Add/Remove programs before you try to reinstall it.
The error your are getting 'error 1605' is an out-of-space error. Check to see you have enough space on the machine and make sure you do not have multiple copies of the software on your machine.

Design view not available with php pages

I am using Dreamweaver CS 3, If I have a page with an file extension of .php I cannot view the page in design view. If I want to use design view I have to give it an extension of .htm, do the work then rename the file with a .php extension. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Go to Edit > Preferences (or Dreamweaver > Preferences on a Mac), and select the File Types/Editors category from the list on the left. Make sure that .php is not among the list of files to open in code view.

Query View not available as DataProvider in Report Designer

Hi experts,
I am unable to find any query views when I tried to insert DataProvider in Report Designer. All that is available in InfoAreas view is only queries.
When I tried to restrict type to only Query View, they are only visible in History view and not others (e.g. Find and InfoAreas)
Is this the same case with everyone and why is that so?

BUG: JDev 10.1.3 ADF BC Synchronize With Database not available

I am using the "Business Components from Tables" wizard to create my ADF model.
If I specify a package that is 3 nodes deep (a.b.model) then JDev creates a structure that looks like this...

If I specify a package that is 4 nodes deep (a.b.c.model) then JDev creates an extra level in the Navigator like this....

--MyApplication
----Model
------Application Sources
--------a.b.c
----------model
The side effect of this extra level is that the "Synchronize With Database" option is no longer available when bringing up the context menu for either the "a.b.c" node or the "model" node.

The problem appears to not be with the Wizard.
Instead, the problem is tied to the Navigator Flat Level control.
If I increase the flat level to a point where the entire package appears in a single Navigator node, then the "Synchronize with Database" context menu item is available.
If the flat level is decreased to a point that the package splits into multiple Navigator nodes then the context meny item is no longer available.

DW CS4 - Design/Live view not available with PHP

I am working with PHP documents but both Live View and Design View are grey and unavailable with PHP documants open. I am using MAMP and have set up local info and testing server in the site set up dialog several times myself and with the help of some web search with no difference. Any thoughts on what may be some things to check would be greatly appreciated.

I show 5 full 3G bars but data is either SLOW or not available for iphone 4

I am having 3G data problems in Parkersburg WV, specifically the downtown tower. It will show 5 full 3G bars out in the middle of the parking lot or in a building and the 3G data is either VERY SLOW or says cannot connect. Edge is way faster, at least 20 times faster. We both have the new iphone 4, and 3gs users I talk to are having no problems. What is strange is it is only the one tower/location, every other place we go it works perfect. I had a ticket in and they looked at the tower and said it was fine, and they went ahead and reset it anyways and we are still having the problem. Apple says it is not an issue with the phone since it works on every other tower, and AT&T says its not their problem because they show nothing wrong and other non-iphone 4 owners have no problem. Any thoughts? I have tried the SIM, hard restart, turning off wifi and blu-tooth, having AT&T re-establish my iphone to their system and last but not least restoring the iphone to factory. If anyone gets anything to work please post.

Print "Current View" not avail in Acro 9

I am trying to print a selected area on the page. In prior versions, I could zoom in on the area, click print and then choose "Current view" under print range. In Acrobat 9, I don't have "Current View", but I do have "Selected Pages".
Is there a way to print the current view short of extracting the page, cropping it then printing it?
The online help page at http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Acrobat/9.0/Standard/WS58a04a822e3e50102bd615109794195ff-7bde. w.html says it should be there, but it is not.

Just closing the "Pages" navigation panel does not do it. What I figured out was that if a page is preselected in the "Pages" navigation panel, then I get "Selected Pages" in the print range. I get that even with the navigation panel closed.
In order to get "Current View", I have to click off of the page in the navigation panel so that no page is preselected. Now I can print what is shown in the graphics window.
