Date change based on time of day...

Hello All,
I am new to Java and creating stamps in Adobe. I have been requested to create a stamp that puts the date based on the current date and time. Anything that is stamped after 3:00pm needs to show the bussiness day. Based on the dynamic stamps default in acrobat I am able to create the a stamp with the current date but can not figure out how to create the IF/Then statment to test for the current time and adjust the to the new date if needed. Please help!
Current Sript:

I've done exactly this for a client of mine last year, although it was not on BC (but it wont matter). It was for a childrens character series, we had 4 times of the day and even seasons where the website would change colors, get lighter and darker (sun cycle) and play different sounds (frogs at night, birds during the day).
Just have 2-3 different CSS files and load each one according to the time of day or handle everything in Javascript.

No, there are no apps that can do that, as no app would have access to the necessary API's to perform such a task.

First delivery date change at the time of PGI

Dear Expert,
i have one query , i have fixed in house production time=1 days, planned delivery time10 days in MRP-2 views .Suppose i create one sales order on current date the first delivery date will pick the date ,(current date10 days). but user wants to change the first delivery date at the time of PGI as per their need, as it may be before or after the required delivery date.

system is not allowing to change the required delivery date as sujjested by you. i have one fg material say 'X' its planned delivery time is 10 days, availibilty check -02.while creating sales order for the above fg material system will pick (current date +planned delivery time), say current date 20.10.2010 & pdt-10 days, syatem will pick 30.20.2010.
but after go to va02 it is not allowing to change the delivery date, but it can happen at any time as business needs this.
kindly resolve this issue with proper logic.

Ok lets do it this way.
I have a page in which i am having radio button for date selection say YTD, MTD and so.
In the page i have a frame in which an iGrid is coming up with some data based on the time period selected on the page.
Now if i change the date from the time refresh control of the iGrid in the frame i want to uncheck the radio button seleted on the page as now its not YTD or MTD or whatever selected previously.
Is there any possible way to do this?

How to find out the top 10 data loads based on time duration?.

We are working on performance tuning. so we want to find out the top 10 loads which had run long time in date wise.
We need the load start time and end time of the load process, Infosource and datatarget name.
There are nearly 1000 loads, So it is very difficult to collect the load's timings in RSMO.
Is there any another alternative to collect the top 10 loads based on time duration in date wise?

Hi Gangaraju,
You can install BI Statistics for getting these type of data.
Or you check in RSDDSTAT or RSMDATASTATE_EXT or table for the Load process time.
Or goto t-code ST13 to get detailed analysis of a Process chain for a given period.

Date Condition based on time

I am working on Plant Maintenance module, i extracted work orders ( aufnr ) from AUFK based on some conditions.
In the selection screen i have s_date option where the user can give any date range .my question is ...after selecting all the work orders, i want to count work orders whose status is conformed and date condition is " For the calender week X, work order actual end date ( getri ) should not be later than the week ending of sunday night 11:59pm " .
Here calender week X, starts on monday morning 00:01 am and ends sunday night 11:59pm
I am able to extract work orders whose status is conformed , but i need logic for tha date condition based on the time ie, end date should not be later than the week ending of sunday night 11:59pm.

if you want the current date and time you can check with sy-datum or sy-uzeit.
Or you can find if there is any date and time fields in the table and compare them against the date you want to.
I am not sure if youa re looking for this.

Why is my data usage increasing multiple times a day when I'm on wi-fi?

For both myself on the Samsung Galaxy S4 and my girlfriend on an iPhone 5c, both of which we got just a week ago, we see our data usage total increasing several times a day, typically in very small amounts, occasionally larger. Her increases are about 10x larger than mine overall. All of this happens when we're each on wi-fi so I wouldn't expect to see these increases then. Any idea why this is happening and what I can do to prevent it? I'm guessing it may be some sort of auto update processing happening in the background, but I don't know that for sure and don't know what else could be causing this.

After talking to 4 different Verizon reps today, nobody could pinpoint the
cause of this. I was mostly just told not to worry about it. My wifi has
seemingly been very solid both here and at work; I don't notice dropouts
when I'm doing other things on it. But I did disable mobile data on the S4
and observed that the data usage did not increase any further after I did
that. So I guess I'll either use that as my primary mode of operation, and
just manually reenable it when I know I'll be away from a wifi signal, or
turn mobile data back on and live with the ongoing hits until it becomes a
storage issue. At the rate we're using data thus far, that shouldn't
happen.

Automatic delivery date change based on logistics calendar

Dear Experts,
I have a certain plant for which i have 5 days working & for the rest i have all days working .
My requirement is that the system should find out & change the delivery date in PO automatically , if the delivery date falls on a holiday .
I have assigned the 5 days a week calendar to the requitred plant & also i am getting the warning message ME080 in the PO , but the system is NOT changing the delivery date .
Please suggest what needs to be done in order to have the system to change the delivery date automatically ?

How to Refresh a Single Graphic based on Time of Day

On this Muse Developed Website, HOME | The Great American Car Wash, The traffic light is programmed to change to Red when the business is closed and to green when it opens. The code that I wrote incorporates this meta tag:
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5"/>
This refreshes the entire page every 5 seconds. The page blinking as it refreshes is undesirable. My best temporary fix is to change the refresh rate to 2 minutes. I have it tentatively set to 5 seconds for troubleshooting. It will be set to 30 seconds when it is time to publish the site.
I used the "INSERT HTML" command in Muse to add the code. It works as intended, except for the annoying page blink to refresh the traffic light. The business owner could easily tolerate a traffic light blinking on refresh.
Is there a way to just refresh only the graphic? Or is there a better way to automatically "update" the status of the light?

Data changed based on current date in Bex

Hi Gurus,
   Hope you are all doing good ! I have a scenario in queries in Bex. When the query is executed the current system date must be captured and the data must be divided by the count of the previous months.
   For instance if the query is executed today the data must be divided by 1 ( for jan)
   if it is executed next month, then the data muset be divided by 2 ( jan + feb ).
   Is there any COUNT variable in Bex ? Any idea how this could be done?

    You should create a variable which is not user entry and user exit as processing type. Based upon the date entered you should write code in CMOD to derive the figure with which you can divide the amount.
The logic can be something like this:...
If the user enters     period like 02.2207(feb 2007), then you can pass value as 2 for the variable newly created. This is a simple code which can be written easily if you have ABAP knowledge.

Creating collections based on time and day

Hello,
I want to create a collection that would apply software update settings to run every 30 minutes only on a Saturday, between 4 am and 2 pm. This is to address an issue that I am running into
- Our software update deployment window is the second Saturday of each month.
- if an update results into the system being eligible for more updates, that system does not install the subsequent update until the next week, as our client settings are at the default setting of running an update scan and update deployment scan every 7
days.
I want to leave the settings at the default, except on Saturday between 4 am and 2 pm so that the update scans and deployment scans run every 30 minutes.
I want systems to be members of a collection only during this time period, so that I can apply accelerated client settings above to the collection.
I am trying to use the query:
select * from SMS_R_System where (DATEPART( WEEKDAY,GETDATE()) = 7 AND DATEPART( HOUR, GETDATE()) BETWEEN 4 AND 14)
However the query does not run and comes back with an "Invalid view" error.
Can I use the SQL datetime functions in this manner?

I think all you need to create is "a collection with Maintenance window". You can create a deployment for software updates in advance so that Policies get refreshed on your clients.
If you need to refresh policies every 30 minutes during the MW, you can create a runbook for policy refresh and also systems reboot using Orchestrator during MW. Orch does automation for you. This will fix your patching concern specially when a system pending
reboot. After reboot client with check in with existing deployment and will install patches if required.
If policy refresh is the concern then you can create a custom client setting with policy interval 30 minutes(aggressive) to poll and deploy to that collection but you can not schedule this only during MW.
Also with right click tools, you can force check in policies on collection.

Date change problem on 6110 Navigator

Hi,
On Sat morning I noticed my phone had not changed date and still showed Fridays date, yet the time was correct. I changed the date to Sat, and again on Sunday I noticed the same thing - still showed Saturdays date. On Monday and other days of the week the date changes correctly to the next day.
I tried setting the clock to 23h59 on Friday and watched the date change to Saturday correctly. I also tried this with the phone off and it was correct. Yet if I leave it to run its course there is a problem.
Can't find any help with this on the net and hoping someone else has experienced this and knows how to fix it. I have the latest firmware for this phone.

Mine is set to off and always has been. I don't know if my network actually broadcasts time / date for update anyway.
Either way the phone is OFF when the date change is supposed to happen so cannot get incorrect time from network.
I have also tested with the phone off. i.e. Set time to 23h59 on Friday, switched off phone and when I switched it back on again the date was correct. Don't know what the difference is between this and just leaving it to run as normal. Its all too weird.

Using AS2 to get time and change based on result

I need to make an edit to a flash projector that was built some time ago that changes what is playing based on the time of day. It is used to advertise breakfast or lunch/dinner for a restaurant. Previously we had set it up so that the time change happened at 5 in the morning and 10 in the morning. The code is below. The restaurant wants to change the time switch to be on the half hour now. I know how to pull the hours and minutes to do this.
This is the code I have been using

The breakfast and dinner movie clips have this code in them as well, so than at the end of each cycle, it checks the time and will switch.
I found this code on Flash Kit and wanted to try and modify it, My hope was to get it to generate a 24hr time 1604 or 1029 that I could then do a < / > comparison with, but this function adds the numbers together so 4:15 PM = 31 and 12:19 = 31 also. Does anyone have any suggestions about how I can do this? I need the time to change at 5 AM and 10:30 AM. There is a possibility that they may want to extend it out to include day of the week as well. RIght now I just need fractional hours to work though.

Once it is past 10:30 I want the dinner movie clip to play and the breakfast clip to stop and disappear. After 5 in the morning, I want the dinner clip to stop and the breakfast one to start.
I've tried < and > with minutes and neither seems to work. The hours work, I set up a test clip with this script in it and when I change my computer clock, I can make this switch back and forth with hours but the minutes still do not factor in.

Delivery date changed 4 times-called to ask what is going on and then best buy cancelled order

I ordered a 55 inch aquos with free ROKU stick for $599.00 on Sept. 22 (removed per forum guidlelines) and got a confirmed delivery of Sept. 26. Unfortunately, I received a call in the morning of the Sept. 26 and was told that delivery was pushed to Tues, Sept. 30.
On Monday, Sept. 29, I received an automated call informing me that the Tv will be delivered on Sept. 30 between 3:30 and 5:30. and I also received an email with the same information. Thirty minutes later I received another email stating that the delivery is again being pushed to Oct. 13. so I called customer service. I was told he can change the delivery date to Oct. 3 but call in the morning to confirm availability with warehouse.I called customer service on Sept. 30 to confirm availability and was assured that the Tv will be delivered on Oct. 3.
On Thursday Oct. 2nd, I received another email stating the order will not be delivered until Oct. 16. I remained calm and called customer service and after a very long hold time I was able to speak with a representative and again after a long hold to check what is going on, she informed me that the order is now cancelled since the item is discontinued. I told the representative that I already lost 3 days of work due to the delivery dates changing and since the TV has to be accepted by somebody 18 years or older I needed to be home. I asked if it is unreasonable to ask for the same exact TV but 1 size bigger since the 60 inch is available and in stock (but without the ROKU stick) but unfortunately I was told it is not possible. I asked to speak with a supervisor but they are all busy but she asked for my phone number so they can call me back in 20 min.. I waited but did not get a back from the supervisor the same day.
I called again today, Friday, Oct. 3 and I was assisted by a nice lady who after explaining my situation was sincere with her apology. She told me that she will call me back so she can speak with a supervisor about my situation. I asked her too if it is unreasonable to ask for the same exact TV but next size bigger since the one I was sold is no longer available and I lost 3 days of work due to the 3 changes in delivery dates. She affirmed that it is fair but have no authority to make decissions but will relay the history of the order to her superior so they can make a proper resolution.
After about 15 minutes I got a call back and was told that since the bigger TV is priced at 799.00 they will give me a 50.00 dsicount for the trouble. I declined the offer since I feel that $50.00 dollars for getting the run around and missing 3 days of work is not proper compensation and is an insult to any customer. I thanked her for trying and informed her that I am aware that it is not her fault and it is management who made this decission.
I sincerely feel that I should have been given the next size TV for the same price of my original purchase and I should have been given a ROKU stick (which I did not ask for) for my unpleasant experience.
We are $150.00 apart from getting a resolution but management feels like it is the right thing to do for cases like these. Being a best buy customer for many years, spending many thousand of dollars, I am puzzled why best buy would treat any customer the way they treated me. Please explain the policy so I can have a better understanding. The $150.00 difference can easily be recopued from my next purchase. In my opinion, it is not a very smart business practice to lose a customer this way. Again, please explain the policy to me so I can understand better.

My iPhone5 has terrible Network connection. It rarely works at the normal speed-if ever. I usually get 3G or 1x network dozens of times a day. My phone also gets pretty hot when i try to use any data for more than a few minutes.

My iPhone5 network connection has been terrible for the past week and a half. My phone is no more than a year old so I don't see why it would be a problem with the phone. When I try to use the internet or look for apps or anything like that, anything that uses data really, it takes FOREVER if it even loads! Most of the time it won't even load. My network changes from LTE(which doesn't work well) to 3G(which works even less) and then to 1x(which basically doesn't work at all). This happens dozens of times a day. It's getting quite irritating. I've tried turning my phone off and letting it sit for a while and that does nothing. I'd really prefer NOT to restore my phone. What is the deal??!

Are you broadcasting your SSID? Sometimes this can cause a problem connecting. Is this Cisco router running any turbo modes or special preparatory protocols.
There are no know issues with Wi-Fi connectivity except on first connection; and the chance of 2 devices having the exact same issue is very unlikely. This sounds like something to do with your wireless router.
Have you tried to connect to another Wi-Fi hotspot elsewhere?
Do you have any 2.4 GHz wireless phones or security system that could interfere with connection?
