Date that BW Object was created on

I was wondering if there are any tables located in BW that would hold a "created on date" for certain BW Objects. This would help answer questions such as "What Infocubes were created in the past year?".
This information doesn't appear to be in the MetaData Repository, nor does it seem to appear for use in the Queries based off of the Statistical Technical Content cubes. I realize that there are ways to see the last changed on date, but what about when the object was initially created?

That is what I figured. If anybody knows of any third party packages that can perform this please let me know.
In the mean time I wrote the entire project using a different language. So much for my JUnit tests.
It really is quite frustrating that a so called powerful high level language can not perform such a simple task as this. Just so that it can operate on multiple operating systems.
java has changed alot since it was first created, so why should it have anything to do with that. Ex Generics was added in 1.5
I guess Java is not all it is hyped out to be. Just look how many retail applications are written with Java compared to others

I need to deauthorize the original computer that home share was created on. Will I lose everything by deauthorizing the original computer from which home sharing was created?

My home share was created on my original computer which we wish to disconnect. Can I deauthorize this original computer without losing everything? I am not all that savy with this and don't really understand where the home share is actually stored.

Thanks for the question. Home Sharing allows you to share music between multiple computers if you continue to use both, but it doesn't create a lasting backup. Considering that you wish to discontinue use of the original computer, it'll be best to transfer your iTunes library to the new computer via an external drive. You should be able to view the purchase history on your account via your computer's iTunes, as per the HT2727 page that you posted from : If you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.

Can I find out the date that a video was taken?

I am wanting to put all my videos from my iphone of my daughters first years onto a DVD, I would like to mark the dates for each one. How do I find out what the dates of each video or picture are?

Thanks so much for your reply King_Penguin. No, sadly there is not indication of the expected release date on the film, it's no where to be found. I have also tried to look in other places online, but no luck. I guess your latter statement jives more with my situation, that being the studio/rights-holder hasn't feel inclined to provide the date.

OO python - access instance in which object was created?

I'm playing with python and qt a bit. Just for fun. To clarify what i meant with the title of this thread, i'll elaborate on what i'm doing.
I've imported one "mainwindow" widget, and one "regular" widget constructed in qt designer.
The idea is to have a listview in the "mainwidget", and use the regular "widget" as a modal dialog to modify the columns in the "mainwidget".
To do this, this is how it is constructed (roughly);
class applicationForm(QApplication):
this is where i create self.form (from appForm), show it and exec it.
class appForm(mainwindow):
this is where the action occurrs. I create the instance self.dialog (from appDialog) and exec it, and i also reference the listview (self.dialog.listview) since i can't access it from within self.dialog otherwise right? This is a bit clunky since i would like to have access to the whole self.form instance instead. I could reference it from the former class (and reference that to self.dialog), but isn't there a better way to do this?

This is the modal dialog. Another strange behaviour is that i can't access the (self.dialog.listview i referenced) with self.listview from the __init__ of this clas. So i have to modify the widgets (which need input from the self.listview) to be of any use, _before_ i exec this dialog window in the self.form instance. I can however access self.listview from the methods i've tied with signals from the GUI.
Ideas, suggestions? Am I attacking this little program of mine from the wrong angle? What about the layout?
btw, if my questions are a bit strange - it's because i'm an OOP noob, and i've not used python very much before.

i would like to modify attributes in instance nr 2, but I don't know how to access them from the class of nr 3 other than importing like this;

Date video was created is not importing correctly

I have a large library of iMovie HD video files that I am wanting to consolidate into iMovie 7.1.4 using File:Import iMovie HD Project...from the menu bar of iMovie. When the clips from each file are imported, the time codes show that each clip was created on the date that the clip was originally imported from my video camera into iMovie HD, not the date the clip was actually captured on the camera. When I look at the original iMovie HD file, it shows the correct date and time for each clip, so I know that the information is in the file somewhere. How do I get the new iMovie to register the correct capture date and not the imported date?

Use the "A Better Finder Attributes" (or similar) utility to change the "File Creation Date" to any DTG (Date-Time Group) you want.)

Create New Operations for data collection(View Object)

ADF data collection(View Object) supports Create, CreateInsert, Delete, etc operations.
And would like to add more operations like clear, etc. How do i create my own operation and add it to data control for all the view objects in the data control.

I'm not sure what kind or "clear operation" you are looking for, but I recently asked about a "clear search" in this forum thread:

It is about the executeEmptyRowSet() method, and that might not be what you are looking for. (It might not even be what I am looking for because it is undocumented and that is what my question is about and I haven't had an aswer yet.)
But ... it does provide an example of a "service method" Shay is referring to, in the example application:

Transferred iTunes library from pc to new mac, iTunes ; however, when opening iTunes on mac it reports the library was created with a newer version of iTunes and won't open.

Transferred Itunes library from pc to new mac; however, when opening itunes on the new mac it reported that the library was created with a newer version of itunes and could not be opened. It asked if I wanted to download updates and I did. However, the new mac is up to date. Itunes won't open. What to do now? Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to Discussions.
With iCal closed, try deleting it's preference file (User/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist).
If this does not work try repairing permissions. Open Disk Utility (Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility) and select your boot volume on the left and click Repair Permissions.
If neither of these work post back.

First try to move your obj1 and obj2 initialization outside of the for loop. Not sure if this is even the issue, but it can't be helping.

Iphoto library was created with a trial version, open version 2 or 4.....

hi, i apparently have an older version of iphoto that thinks its the "guardian" to all of my iphoto pics. i do have iphoto six, but when i try to open it, it says that the iphoto library was created with a trial version of iphoto, and that i should open version 2 or 4 to use that library. i can find no way to open version 6, nor can i find version 2 or 4. is it possible that i accidentally deleted these? and how can i get them back, so i can upgrade to version 6? thanks

I am having almost the same problem! I am not sure what happened to trigger this, but one day, I tried to open iPhoto, and it said that "This library was created with an unreleased version of iPhoto. Please open library with iPhoto 2 or 4." I have been runing iPhoto 5 for the past year!
I jsut bought iPhoto 6 today, hoping that if I installed the latest version, it would fix all of the issues. Well, it didn't! I can't even hold down shift+option when launching the application...once the library is selected, i get the same error message as before.

How do I find the dates that each picture was taken? It would be like right clicking and seeing when the picture was taken or saved. I can't find this info anywhere.

iPhoto is the photo app on a Mac. If you have Windows, it would be under My Photos, or Pictures - not sure exactly. But basically, the picture information is only available on a computer as a direct part of the photos. You should be syncing your iPhone to iTunes on a computer so that you can back up all of your stuff. If you have iCloud, that backs up some things, but not your entire photo library - only your Photo Stream and Camera Roll from your iPhone.
So, really, it depends on what type of computer you are syncing with.....
However, there is an App in the App Store called Photo Investigator. It is free, but the free version comes with ads. For .99 cents, you can remove the ads. Once it is installed, you can select any photo on your phone, and it will give you not only date and time, but a lot of other info that you may or may not care about.
There probably are other apps available to do what you are looking for as well....

How do I get data back on my Numbers created inventory that was removed by Spotlight recently? It seems to have happened after upgrading.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately when I click on "revert to" it shows no document. It's very strange that the rest of my old inventories on numbers remain. It is only my 2014 entries that went into a black hole somewhere. When I click on my inventory pages it says: "OS X spotlight search information was removed." It seems to have occurred after I recently updated Numbers. I never did anything to have it removed and never got any kind of warning to my knowledge that it was about to be removed. Very frustrating!
