It's obvious that gcc-libs package is missing in current package. I've found one similar problem here http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=283439. But I cannot solve it like that. I have current file included in /etc/pacman.conf already. I've also tried to change current to core and make the /etc/pacman.d/core file and it complained too:

yes, the second output is related to pacman.conf with `current` replaced with `core` .... and good to say, that I did NOT forgot to update repositories with `pacman -Sy` before upgrade ;-)

"xorg-fonts-alias" is not in the package set

I was trying to install xorg onto an arch box, ran pacman -S xorg; it gave me 22M of files to install, I told it yes, and it started spraying errors about files not found, file sizes not found, something like that.
I tried a couple more times and it finally downloaded the files, but then complained that a couple files were corrupt.
I went to /var/lib/pacman/current and deleted the entries for those files.
Now when I try to install xorg, it tells me that it cannot resolve dependencies for xorg-fonts-misc, because xorg-fonts-alias is not in the package set. If I try to pacman -S xorg-fonts-alias, I get an error that it isn't found in the sync db
How do I fix whatever I broke?

I would probably try cleaning out my cache, and then forcing the stuff that is complaining (depending on what the errors are of course):
$ sudo pacman -Scc
$ suco pacman -Syuf

[SOLVED]Pacman needs gcc-libs, that are already up to date

...but this is the output

Pacman needs to update itself first, but needs gcc-libs...
...however...
pacman -Ss gcc-libs

Granted, I could do this:
pacman's --force
but, how harmfull is that to my system?

EDIT - searching the boards now...but I found some stale breadcrumbs...
EDIT2 - upated pacman on its own...that seemd to work...
pacman -S pacman
the system is updating now...Solved
EDIT3 - definetly solved, upgrading pacman on its own did the trick. The system is back after a reboot...thanks to everyone here

Well, I did not refuse pacman to update...not updating one package could potentially bring down the depenging chain...so I let it update...
@ Sara - I updated pacman on its own as detailed in the first post, then I did a sysup. the packages are in, and the update is running as we speak...
I guess this could work for you too...good luck!

I know it can be frustrating when you are waiting for content to download to your iPhone from the iTunes Store. There are a few steps I would recommend in this situation. Please read over and follow the steps in the attached article.

Hi Fresherss,
Your del is Local Variable, it can't be accessed out of the if statement. you need to declare it as global variable like below. And if you want to collect the string, you could use the List to collect, not a string. the string will be split to chars
one by one.

I meant holding the "option" (or "alt") key on your keyboard as you click the Outlook icon on the Dock, and continuing to hold it until you see the Microsoft Database Utility come up. Alternatively, you can open the utility by navigating to Applications/Microsoft Office 2011/Office and then double-clicking the Microsoft Database Utility app.
When you rebuild your database using that program, a backup copy of your original database (containing your account info, contacts, mail, calendars, etc) will be created. As a security precaution, you should also ensure you have a backup of your database (which you can find by going to Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities/ and copying the contents of that folder onto an external drive).

I love Palatino, I have it bot in the System fonts folder, in the home/library/fonts folder and in the computer/library/fonts folder.
Yet, It does not come out.
Something else I should be doing?

Keep in mind that if the recipient of the email doesn't have Palantino active on their computer, they're not going to see that font on their end. Their system will replace any instance of Palantino with whatever font is they have set as the default in their mail program.

If you are talking about processes launched from a JVM (running outside), Process is available.

I'm getting the above error when trying to execute a custom lookup. What I'm trying to do is lookup the minimum promotional price between date ranges. The SQL executes fine in SSMS
