DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR which are related to BW ods Activation
Hi friends,
I dont know whether this is the right thread i am posting or not. But technical people can definately help me.
Recently we have upgraded patch from SP 22 to SP 25 for BI 7.0. From that time onwards i am facing issues like anything.
Here is the impact.
1. Data loads not triggering for process Chains as per schedules. we are running emegency chains manually. We have raised an issue to SAP, waiting for reply.

The system is no longer linked to an ORACLE instance.
No further operations can be performed on the database.
Error analysis
The system attempted to access an ORACLE instance to which
it is no longer linked.
This situation may arise because the ORACLE instance
has been stopped due to an error or an external operation.
How to correct the error
Database error text........: "ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE"
Triggering SQL statement...: "SAPLRS_EXCEPTION "
The current status of the ORACLE instance cannot be determined.
It may be still inactive or the database administrator may have
restarted it.
In any case, all systems that have accessed the ORACLE instance
must be restarted after the ORACLE instance has been restarted.
If you were working on a central system, inform
your system administrator.
If you were working on an external local system, inform
the person responsible for this system.
If you were working on your own local system, restart
the system yourself.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:

2. Especially ODS activation (through process chains) failing in every process Chain. if you run maual activation , then its ok.
All Batch are got struck when accessing table TADIR. Dump C which is mensioned above impact is very high on the system.
Anyone know about to resolve the above dumps, Please help me.

You can query the table CRMD_LINK for retrieving the follow up document. But, here you will run into a little bit confusion as to select which one.
So, a much better and cleaner approach would be to use the Function Module - CRM_ORDER_READ. Using this FM you can very easily retrieve all the following and preceding documents in the Export Tables Parameter ET_DOC_FLOW. From here you can again call the CRM_ORDER_READ to get the additional details for each one order document.
You can even execute the Report CRM_ORDER_READ in SE38 Tcode to have a feel of the actual FM.

Active Directory cross forest trust which are deployed in separate subscription
Hi All,
I know that this is not Azure forum, but I have a question related to Active Directory, Appreciate your understanding and letting me know your concerns about AD cross forest between two subscriptions of Azure.
We have two separate subscriptions of Windows Azure under one Global Account, previously these two subscriptions are treated as a separate company and they are having separate forest and separate domain, these two companies does not have any site to
site VPN with each other over the wan, but these two companies are having site to site connection with Azure for their own subscription respectively.
Additional domain controller for both subscriptions are deployed in Azure in order to authenticate those servers which are already deployed in Azure
Due to some reasons these companies are merging together and due to some reasons they want to have cross forest trusts between these two companies. As we do not have any WAN connection between these two companies the questions has been raised that can we
do a cross forest trust between two Active Directories because these two are deployed in Azure and both companies active directories are deployed in Azure.
Can we achieve this and how we can achieve this, I know that we can expose servers in Azure over the internet by creating endpoints and allow ACL in order to get connection from specific public IPs.
My question is can we achieve this, does it supported from Microsoft. if yes then is there any thing we have to consider before deploying it.

For example in subscription 1 we have additional domain controller of forest 1 and in subscription 2 we have additional domain controller of forest 2.

Then you can just use T-Code SM04.
It will give all the information about those user.

Suppliers which are active and not being involved for a long time
Hi All,
Is there any way we can find suppliers which are active but not being used for a long time (for a specific duration) . i.e being involved in no open POs or no invoices processed or no payments made.

How to join 2 tables which are not related with any primary key foreign key constraint.
Ex.Consider Table A has 5 columns->A_ID,A_Name,A_Address,A_City,A_Pin(Total 10 rows)
Table B has 5 columns->B_ID,B_Name,B_Adress,B_City,B_City(Total 30 rows)
From both the table i want the data,which i need to use in curosr to display finally as "Address Label".
Both the table are entirely different,but there can be some names of Table A which may come in Table B also,if the name,address and city is also same.That means same person in both the table.
So finally i want total number of distinct records(distinct data of Table A which is not in B+all the data of table B) to come under Address Label.
How can i write the select query for this condition?

The corresponding column types should be similar, if not exactly the same.
There's no problem if A_Name is VARCHAR2 (50) and B_Name is CHAR (30).
However, there will be a problem if A_ID is a NUMBER and B_ID is a TIMESTAMP.
You must have the same number of columns in all branches of the UNION.
If you want an ORDER BY clause, put it at the very end, after the last branch of the UNION.
You can use positional notation (where 2 means the 2nd column) like I did, or you can use names from the first prong of the UNION (such as A_Name).

Whenever you have a question, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) from all tables, and the exact results (formatted) that you want from that data.
You can concatenate all 5 columns into one VARCHAR2 column, if you want to.
You'll probably want to use RPAD (or simillar functions) to make the output line up nicely.
If any of the columns are not strings, use TO_CHAR to make string versions of them.
For example:
SELECT TO_CHAR (A_ID, '9999999')
|| ' ' -- leave a little space between the left-justified a_id and the right-justified a_name
|| RPAD (A_Name, 25)
|| RPAD (A_Address, 50)

You check in the meta data repository, you can get the list of queries build on that particular DSO.
The table RSRREPDIR (directory of all queries) - it will display the queries developed on the top of IC and MP.
If you want to know particular query where it is used click on where used list it will display .

Back up all data. That means you know you can restore the Mail database, no matter what happens.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar. Paste into the box that opens (command-V), then press return.
A Finder window will open with a file selected. Move the selected file to the Desktop, leaving the window open. Other files in the folder may have names that begin with "Envelope Index". Move those files, if any, to the Trash.
Log out and log back in. Relaunch Mail. It should prompt you to re-import your messages. You may get a warning that the index is corrupt and that Mail has to quit. Click OK.
Test. If Mail now works as expected, you can delete the file you moved to the Desktop. Otherwise, post your results. -

You can do that using sp_who2 but it requires a bit of programming to list only user sessions.
