Delete organization

Hi,
when create organization data for the support desk of your company form tcode ppoma_crm, there is bp number assinged to this new organization unit.
But when i delete organization unit from tcode ppoma_crm, there is still exist in tcode bp.
How I can delete this business partner organization from BP.

Hi,
Use transaction BUPA_DEL for deleting the Business Partner.
If you perform the deletion and you get the error "fatal error". Just search for a sapnote with key words "fatal error" and "BUPA" under SAP Component "crm*".

Cannot delete organization OIM 9.1.0.2 BP09

I created organization in OIM through admin console. I tried to delete it but without success. The status is changed to "deleted" but it is still there.
Is there a way to delete it permanently?

The base definition should be in the AGS table.
You could always keep the data in the row and just reinsert it later but I would really recommend simply recreating the organization through the OIM GUI.
Please note that there are lots and lots of places where the organization key is referenced so deleting an organization that has been referenced by anything would cause major consistency issues in the OIM database so I would think twice (and thrice) about if I really want to do this.

I suppose you dont have an api to delete the organization classification. The only one close to doing something similar i found was hr_organization_api.disable_org_classification

We want to copy our Organizational Structure com PRD. Okay, we're using IDOC to do it. But there's some duplicated Orgs because and some testing ones. And now we wanna to clear it all and make a real copy of PRD.

Multiple problems with PSE10 Organizer

I have Photoshop Elements 10 that I am using with Windows XP with Service Pack 3, a Pentium 4 CPU with 3 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and 48.6 GB of free disk space. I have had multiple problems with Organizer since I started using it.
When I first got PSE10, I imported 8 years of my photos into one catalog in Organizer. I'm not sure how many images were included in this catalog but from what I've read, there's no limit to the number of images that can be placed in a catalog.
Question: Is there any limit to the number of images that can be put into one catalog?
Catalog A
Problem 1) People recognition didn't work. When I tried to find people for tagging, the feature didn't work. After researching the problem online, I found that others who had the same problem solved it by rebuilding the catalog a few hundred images at a time. I deleted the original catalog with all of my images and created a new catalog with just 800 images from this year. Then, people recognition worked, and I was able to tag people. The only other feature that I have used in Catalog A is that I have edited a few images to improve exposure. I have not rated images, stacked them, renamed them or created albums. With this catalog, the Organizer and the Editor still work together so when I select a photo in Organizer to fix, the Editor opens up with the photo for editing like it is supposed to do.
Catalog B
I created another catalog that had about 900 different images from a European tour. I deleted some of those images so there are now 760 images in this catalog. At first, all the Organizer features seemed to work fine in this catalog. I was able to pull photos from Organizer to fix in the Editor. I rated all the images, stacked and renamed some photos and created several albums under an album category.
Problem 2) A couple of days ago, the Organizer and the Editor stopped working together. Now, when I select a photo in Organizer and click on Fix, Edit, the Editor window comes up but the photo does not appear in Editor. The only way I can get an image into Editor is to pull it directly into Editor. Then, when I want to save it as a Version Set I have to choose File> Organize Open File in order to save the image as a version set.
Question: How do I get the Organizer & Editor to work together again?
Problem 3) The Exif data has disappeared on quite a few of the images in Catalog B even though the Complete radio button is highlighted under the Properties panel. Some of those images were never edited or re-saved.
Question: How do I get the Exif data back into Properties.
Problem 4) Yellow question marks continue to appear on the top left of some images even though these images have not been moved. The Organizer searches for the "missing file" and finds it quickly but why is it "missing"? I have gone through the albums in this catalog, completed the missing file searches on all the images so that no yellow question marks appear and when I go back to the catalog the next time I find the yellow question marks are there again!
Question: Why does Organizer think the files are missing? Why isn't the file location remaining the same?
Problem 5) When I re-opened Catalog A with the general 2012 images, I got a message that my watched folder had new photos to import. When I clicked on ok, the next window brought up 3 photos that were already in Catalog B of my European tour that were taken in September. Somehow, the Date Created and the Dated modified had been changed from 9/12 to 11/12 so the Organizer thought they were new images when they were not.
Questions: Shouldn't the Date Created remain constant? The Date Created does not seem to represent the date the picture was taken, so what does that date represent? How can I keep the date created from being changed?
Both Catalogs
All of the images in both catalogs show creation dates that are later than the date modified, (example: date created of 6/12 and a date modified of 3/12).
Question: How is it possible that the date created is later than the date modified?

A lot of questions hmm!!! Let me try to answer few of them.
Question: Is there any limit to the number of images that can be put into one catalog?
Ans: No, you can import as many images in catalog you want. Just to add, as the size of catalog grows, Organizer's perfromance will be affected.

Ans: As you mentioned in your comments, you have deleted some files (i assume from explorer). But these deleted files are still present in Organizer. Since the deletion happened outside the organizer, so Organizer is unaware of the deletion. So when organizer tries to read the files (which were deleted), Organizer is unable to find then and thus thinks that files are missing.

Ans: Date created represents the date on which the files was created on your files system (or into OS). It is not date when the images was shot (actual shot date is Date time Original in Organizer).
Question: How is it possible that the date created is later than the date modified?
Ans: A simple way to do it is-Suppose you have an image which was brought/copied on July (i am explaining this with the help of month only. Assume date to be 1st and year to 2012). Now change the system date to August. Edit this image in Editor (without creating a version set for easy illustration). Now date created is July and date modified is Aug.
Copy this fine on flash drive/pen drive. Delete the original file from windows. Change the system date to Sept. Now copy the file in windows and see its properties. It has Date created as Sept and date modified as Aug, which answers you question.
I am unable to fully understand your remaining questions. Please elaborate.

How to delete Users or Organinzations from oim

Hi,
I have deleted some users as well as organizations in OIM, and I got the message that they are successfully deleted.
But when I try to reconile the same user from csv file using GTC connector or create the deleted organization from OIM I am getting the Error that user already exists and Organization cannot be created
Do we have a way to completely delete the users or organizations
Please help me

This may be due to user logins are same for deleted user and newly coming user. Go to system properties and reuse use login property to true and retry reconciliation.
Else
You can remove from database but it'll be tedious as you would need to delete all reference as well.

I see how to delete a course, but I want to do the same for a Organization/ Department in my account. Just want to clean out all the "test" courses that were uploaded...

Could you please create a blank new project with one or two quiz questions and create a new department, course name and company name? Also try using the department, company and course name in capitals and try avoiding spaces in the names.

Help with Elements 6 organizer

I'm at a school and we have been having troubles with PSE6 shutting down when attempting to open the 'Organizer', just after the 'Initializing Main Interface' stage. A visiting tech had a go at trying to locate the problem but without success. What is the Twain preference, where do I locate it and what affect will it have if it is removed? Hope you can help. Please let me know what error you are getting.
Also, what steps you tried.
Try the following steps if not already tried:
1- Delete Organizer preferences. (Delete psa.prf file from C;\Documents and Settings\[User]\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\6.0\Organizer)
2- Start PSE to get to the Welcome screen. Hold down the Ctrl, Alt, and Shift keys and click Organize. Keep holding down the keys until you see the Catalog window.
3- Create a new catalog and continue using it.

Delegated Admin Deleted org and attribute violation

I'm using Sun Messaging Server 6 and Delegated Administrator 6.3-0.09. I've created an organization, and got everything to work just fine. Then I deleted it with the GUI and then used commadmin to delete and purge it, but now when I try to make one of the same name and domain it says "Attribute uniqueness violated." I've checked the LDAP DB directory and its not there.
Also I did the same with some other domains (creating and deleting) with commadmin and it says "Conflicts with deleted Organization". Those domains are still in the LDAP DB and I googled around and I set the mailDomainStatus from "active" to "removed" with ldapmodify. But commadmin domain purge still doesn't get rid of it. I'm running out of ideas. Anybody have any ideas?

Solaris is patched with the latest and greatest. I had the same issue before patching Messaging Server and DA.
2) I've created a number of organizations and users using DA, that worked fine, commnications express and calendar also both appear to work just fine.
I can remove users just fine, before commadmin domain purge, I run msuserpurge and csclean.
Now, when I want to delete the actual organization they obviously get marked as "deleted" and I have to use -g 0 when I do commadmin domain purge, but it doesn't work. commadmin domain purge appears to work, I get no errors, even in verbose mode it looks fine, except everything says the same in LDAP.
I've replaced the actual domain with acme.com :)

Loading Organizational Plan every week

Hi Experts-
The client is trying to sync up the Organizational plan (Org units, positions and relationships) from external system. We currently have a plan but want to delete it and start syncing up with the external system.
Question I have is-
1. Is there a way to delete the existing plan (all org units, positions & relations) in one step?
2. What happens to deleted object IDs? Are they gone from the system? Can I use the same object ID numbers again?
3. We are planning to do a full load every week. That means we delete what we have and load full again. Is this a good approach? What are the issues with it?
4. Is there a tcode to find out where (which workflows) the org units are being used?

Yes, you may use transaction RE_RHRHDL00 (Delete DB records). You just need to specify the correct evaluation path (depends on which organizational object are being used in your plan), such as ORGCHART, or even you may create a custom evaluation path.
Yes, after you delete organizational objects they are deleted from the Infotypes tables and you may use their IDs again.
To my opiion - NO! This is not such a wise approach. First - I assume that your OM and PA systems are integrated and the deletion may cause a mess. Moreover, the OM system is integrated with many other components, such Workflow and this has to be considered as well. There are so many issues to think about, such as: what happens if the deletion of some objects fails.... What happens if not all object will be loaded back to the system...
Org, Units may be included within the WF schema and as part of a Responsibility Rules (transaction OOCU_RESP).
My advise to you is to consider different alternative.

Managing Photos with new iPad Air???

Hi,
I was looking to get some insight from experienced users on the best way manage photos with the new iPad Air. Oviously, im not too familiar with the subject as, i do not use any iPad and i am trying to set one up for someone else who recently purchased one.
So here is what i need to be able to do:
There are a bunch of pictures i need to upload into the iPad (more or less 15gig for the first batch).
Id like to be able to manage these pictures as in be able to delete, organize folders, etc.
Preferably also be able to export these photos, later on, as a backup in their respective folders as previously organized in the ipad.
Mainly, the ipad will be the main storage unit of the albums, as this person enjoys viewing them on daily basis. So i believe this rule out using itunes photos syncing. After searching for a while i believe there are multiple third party app which would be better for importing, organizing and exporting photos. Im just not quite sure which as i have not experience it yet.
*This has become quite a pain since im trying to find a way to minimize the usage of a PC or MAC, so the person would be able to manage their photos with the ipad and i believe it would be simple to transfer pictures taken from their iPhone.

How to disable or decrease Cache persistance time in dashboard?

I have used the AUTHORIZATION concept in my OBIEE project with the help of AUTHORIZATION table in SQL database.Here,in database table, records have User-ID with other coloumns like name, email, etc with groupname also.
It is working properly, but when i make some changes in AUTHORIZATION table in database , like adding new user or changing group membership of some existing user, it doest reflect in dashboard link IMMEDIATELY.
For example, user SHYAM is member of Organization Head group and Vertical Head group. So, he can see report of both the groups.
But , if we update his group membership to Vertical Head group only, by deleting Organization Head group membership in Database,
the respective change do not reflect in dashboard.
I have to restart the obiee services on server.
only then changes are visible.
Is there any way to disable the CACHE completely....
or Atleast decrease the cache persistance time to least , i.e, few seconds or completely to zero.
Please help me by giving some solution.....

In your init block which fetches the group membership for a particular user for the variable target chose row wise intialization and unmark 'Use caching' option.

PSE 9 and CAHeadless Debug Event??

PS: Have tried to HOLD down 'Shift, Control and Shift' whilst launching Orgnizer as suggested in a previous forum and ALL IT WAS LAUNCH CA HEADLESS BEBUG EVENT Again. Msg always states 'CAHeadless has encountered an error:' [..\..\Src\DataManager.cpp-410]. ???

Catalog problem ... I think

I had a problem starting the program, it gave a message about problems with online services, selected a bypass option then got a message about problem with catalog. Now I have the program to a point that it will launch but the pictures, collection and tag info are not there. The pictures are in the computer I can see them with windows explorer. What file tracks all that stuff and how can I restore it (the catalog)?
