Delivery Quantity change during creation of Delivery Document

Hi Friends,
I have a requirement of creating a Partial delivery when not much stock is available.
For this I am using a BADI 'LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC' method Save_Document_Prepare.
I am changing the contents of CT_XLIPS-lfimg in the method and also keeping UPDKZ as 'I', but still
   the quantity is not changing.
Pls Suggest.
Arpit

Check, "Outline agreement message" in Document type details in VOV8- (eg: CQ- Quantity Contract) under Transaction flow view.
Use Indicator:A- Check at Header level.
Then system pop ups the message saying " Already Contract is open for this Customer" - ( Assume, SOld to party already have Open Contract)
similarly, for Material, for this you should use  Indicator" B- Check at Item Level.
Hope it helps

  • Finding out the Batch which is present during creation of delivery

    Dear All,
I need to keep track of changes in batch during delivery. I can find out the change using change documents ( tables CDHDR and CDPOS ). The problem is it keeps track of batches only after the document is saved . If during creation the batch is changed , we are not able to see the initial batch , all the other changes can be tracked using change documents. How can we find out the batches during creation of delivery ( Is there any table which stores the batch no during delivery.
    Regards
    D. Mallick

This does not looks possible...Changes can only be tracked once they are saved.

  • Delivery quantity changed while delivery was being picked .

    Hi Friends .
I have  a big problem, because the delivery quantity changes while the delivery was being picked.
This is the positively the 3rd time that we have seen this, possibly the 4th, recently.
Delivery was created this morning for 800pc. Batch determination was telling the picker to pick from perticular storage location SLOC 112. (all 800pc) (25pc =1 pallet)
The picker knew that he was picking 32 pallets from that row.
After he picked 32 pallets, the system was telling him that he needed to pick 2 more pallets.
At that point, I  saw delivery .The quantity in the delivery had, at this point, increased to 850.
Delivery shows that 32 pallets that had been picked up to this point.
again  it is calling to pick 2 more pallets.
at this point of time  delivery is for 850 (not the original 800)
I have not changed the quantity in delivery or in order . how come delivery quantity has changed while materials are being picked .
Kindly I request your speedy reply as it's priority ticket .
    Thanks in advance .
    Jayapala S.h

    Hi jayapala
The delivery qty can change while you pick the quantity  if the stock is less than the stock that is to be actually you are going to deliver. As the stock is changing , check the stock in MMBE for that material.
    Example :
Say you have created a sales order for 100pcs but when you are doing delivery material is taking only 75pcs because there are only  75pcs of stock in the storage location

  • Problem during creation of shipment document and shipment cost document

    Hi
My client  facing problem during creation of shipment document and shipment cost document at the time of Batch Job
Delivery no 897654: goods issue on 30.11 at 13:22. Shipment on 30.11 (VT01N).
    Shipment costs on 1.12 (VI01).
the problem is the shipment document get created on 30.11.2010 but the shipment cost document get created on 1.12.2010
    pleas advice.

    Hi,
Please check the batch job processing log.
As per my understanding, business requires to generate the Shipment & Shipment cost documents immediatley.
However there is some time between the documents creation time. I dont see any issue in the data or problem in the delivery docs Because system will not generate the shipment docs after 1 or 2 days if there is an issue with the data . There must be problem in the Batch Job.
Analyse the batch jobs and timing of the job process.
    Let us know your feedback...

  • Delivery quantity is less than minimum delivery quantity

    Hello Experts,
I received an error log "Delivery quantity is less than minimum delivery quantity 20 EA" when I first tried to create delivery using sales order. Well the reason for the error log was because of the CMIR record maintained in the system with min quantity set as 20 (Ordered Quantity = 10 in the sales order).
After realization, I did delete the CMIR record and then tried to create delivery for the same sales order but I'm still receiving the same error log "Delivery quantity is less than minimum delivery quantity 20 EA".
How can I overcome this issue.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Hegal,
    Thanks for your quick response.
But I've one more question regarding the same error log.
Initially the Ordered Qty was 10 and CMIR record was with 20 and it gave me a error log (which works as expected).
I deleted CMIR record and it still gives the same error log "Delivery quantity is less than minimum delivery quantity 20 EA".
Later when I increased the sales order quantity to 20 or more, I'm not getting any error log even though CMIR record is not maintained in VD52. This is something which is unusual and I feel there is some place in the file where this information is stored and later compared against the sales order quantity.
This is something which I would like to know for my own understanding.
I did ask user to delete the sales order line item and reenter the same product and now everything is working as expected.
    Thanks

  • Sales BOM - Delivery Quantity check during post goods issue

I am working on a problem in my company.  We are running ECC6.0 ehp 4.  We are using standard ERLA functionality with sales bom (5) for product kits.  Delivery manager has requested that we investigate a system check during delivery post goods issue.  THe problem is that when shipper processes delivery, if they have to backorder they update pick and delivery quanity on the TAE item.  They should also update TAQ delivery quantity, so that backorder amount is correct.  If they make data entry error, backorder quantity is incorrect.  The delivery manager has tried a number of attempts to re-train and correct mistakes.  He is now asking that SAP issue a hard error if TAQ and TAE delivery item quantities are not the same.
I have searched on SAP Notes, Forms, and Google and do not see solution.  I know that at delviery item category there is a minimum qty check for the item category.  I've not found a user exit or configuration point that checks quanities.  Does anyone know of out of the box solution?  Or where would I put in custom user exit?
    Test Case
    Create Standard Order
    Enter Material with Sales BOM
    ITEM A     Qty 10
    BOM explodes with Item categories
    ITEM A     TAQ parent
    ITEM B     TAE child
    Create Delivery
Delivery has item categories TAQ and TAE
TAE is pickable, TAQ no pick
    Process TAE
         Pick quantity of 5 items
Change delivery quantity to 5 items
Forget to change TAQ delivery quantity
         Pack 5 items
    Post Goods Issue the delivery.
Is there are requirement/routine than can be run at time of PGI that checks TAQ delivery quantity is the same as TAE delivery quantity.  If quanities are not the same, show hard error and message do not allow PGI to complete.
    Thank you
    Tony Romain

I tried setting that field in the sale order this morning.  By defaulting it to "C"; I was able to get warning message for TAE line.  I was able to post goods with TAE and TAQ, being different quantities.  I need the check to determine if TAE and TAQ delivery quantity are different.  Using this fields seems to be line specific.  Thanks for the suggestion.  I now know what that field does to the delivery.
    I rewarded points.
    Thanks,
    Tony

  • Error during creation of delivery challan (VL01N) for batch

    Hi,
At the creation of delivery challan during batch determination the system displays the message 'The material is not handled in batch'. Although we have despatched this material considering batch determination previously with all customisation.
Kindly revert back as soon as possible.
    Regards,
    Goraksh.

    Hi Goraksh,
I think somebody removed the check box of "Batch" from material master.
    Please check and revert.

  • Delivery Split during creation of delivery for STO

While creating a delivery for STO, delivery is being created for individual line items. On analysis of VL 033 message, I found that the delivery split is happening because of Function SH: Unloading Point.
    The message is
<i>"delivery split due to conflicting header data (Function SH: Unloading Point: <-> UP0065)"
Item 000020 cannot be shipped in the same delivery with the other items in the document because the header data (Function SH: Unloading Point) is different. The Function SH: Unloading Point item field has the value UP0065, but in the delivery checked for concatenation it has the value .</i>
This unloading point has been maintained in the customer master data (and needs to be maintained).
I have also been told by my Basis consultant that note 842704 is not valid.
Why is this happening and how to prevent it.
    Lakshman

Sorry... but I could not see either the delivering point or the unloading point in the material sales: general / plant view. Those fields are not visible on the screen. I could also not find them in the config (I was checking if they are suppressed).

  • (SD-ABAP-IDOC) Delivery Quantity change

    Hi,
We have two material types i.e., Finished good and packaging material. we receive an inbound IDoc for picking with batch numbers for only finished goods.
The incoming IDoc will have only finished goods, but not packaging materials. Once we receive IDoc,  we need to increase "Packaging material qty" propotional to "No. of batches of finished good.
Z- function module assigned to inbound process code. This FM checks partners and if partner is not correct then gives error message. If every thing is fine then calls standard FM SD_IDOC_INPUT_PICKING. I tried to modify PKIMG-Reference Qty in customer exit of SD_IDOC_INPUT_PICKING, but it is not giving required output.
Please suggest how can i change packaging material qty in delivery according to no of batches of the relevant finished good.

    Hi,
Try using the FM WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE. Hope this will help you.

I think the only way to do this is if you actually break down your product into Raw Material, Packing, and Overhead. You can do it using a BOM.

  • Tolling / Sub-Contracting Material Quantity Change During Order Creation

I have created a requisition for 80,000 KG of a tolling material. When converting the requisition into a purchase order, one of the components of the material goes from 45,881.875 KG to 45,881.874 KG, resulting in an overall amount of 79,999.999 KG and a mismatch between my requisition and purchase order.
I have checked the rounding profiles in the MRP 1 view for all the materials, and each is set to 1.000 KG. Why is this material component rounding down?
    Thanks.

so the reduced order quantity is not caused by an component that goes down. it is actually the other way around.
SAP converts the Kg from the requisition into LB in the PO.
    And rounds the decimals.
Using this as basis then for the components.
The leading unit is now the order unit, which is LB. whenever you look at a oder  quantity in KG, then SAP converts the LB quantity back into KG, which causes again a rounding issue.
That is one of the problems when the base unit is not the smallest unit.

where i will do the Configuration to serch for open order/contract.

Check, "Outline agreement message" in Document type details in VOV8- (eg: CQ- Quantity Contract) under Transaction flow view.
Use Indicator:A- Check at Header level.
