Demand management split the requirements

Hi
I wonder if anybody knows how to make a daily split for the requirements in demand management.
I have made it but the split is made only for the 5 workdays (monday to friday) but i need to be done in weekdays (monday to sunday).
I've got the restriction of not changing the calendar of the plant because it will affect the others modules of SAP.
Wait for your answer
Please
The points will be waiting

Hi,
Even if you split the reqirement in demand managmant system will not plan the planned order on holiday,
To split the PIR qty
1. goto schedule lines and select the line
2. goto edit mode choose split per online
3. popup will appear
4. enter the period indicator and start and end date of the requirements period
5. enter the qty to be split and enter the period indicator for split enter
6. PIR qty will be split daily
7. daily qty =Total reqmts qty / no of days
Can you try order splitting (FS) and in the takht time enter the number of in house production days (1). In the rounding value assign the quantity for the daily lot size.

  • Qouta Arrangement not splitting the requirement

    Hello All
Am facing a problem with quota arrangement, AI have maintained qouta for SF X2 which is a component for X. Material X is maintained in plant 1400 & as well as SF X2. I have maintained qouta arrangement for X2 in plant 1400 with procurement type F & special procurement type U, I have maintined this setting for plant 1200 & 1500 with the ratio as 70:30 respectively. In material master if X2 in plant 1400 I have maintained Quota arrangement usage as 4. When am giving a requirement of 100 EA and after the MRP run of material X the requirement of X2 is passed on to 1200 totally with 100 EA, the system is not splitting requirement to both the plants 1200 & 1500. I have also maintained splitting in SPRO for lot size key EX which I am using for X2. After maintaining this data i shall get the requirement of X2 to be splitted between plant 1200 & 1500 which is not happening in this case. Kindly suggest where is the gap in maintainng the appropriate setting for Quota arrangement. I shall be looking forward to your valuable inputs & guidance.

1.Maintain the Info-Records for the vendor + material combination in ME11.
2.Maintain the source List for the vendor + material combination in ME01 and for source List usage in Materials Planning select
    value 1.
3.Maintain splitting allowed for Quota for the Lot size in OMI4.
4.Maintain Quota arrangement usage 4 in the material master for the material for which the quota's has been maintained.
5.Maintain the quota arrangement details in MEQ1.
After MRP Run,check whether you are gettinsg the exact results.

  • SOP - Flexible Planning u2013 Demand Management.

    Hello Gurus
Can any one guide me  SOP - Long term plannng  / Flexible Planning  - Transfer to demand managment Process
    Thanks

    Hi,
Transferring SOP  to Demand Management :
    Use:
You can pass on data planned in Flexible Planning or Standard SOP to Demand Management.
Demand Management determines the requirement dates and requirement quantities for important assemblies and specifies the strategies for planning and producing/procuring finished products. The result of Demand Management is the demand program. The demand program differentiates planned independent requirements and customer independent requirements. It gives the information needed in MPS and MRP for planning at SKU level. The placing of sales orders eventually consumes planned requirements and triggers updating to the Sales Information System. This actual data can then be used as input for future sales planning. For more information, see PP Demand Management.
    Prerequisites:
The system distributes the data to the appropriate plants in Demand Management on the basis of the quotas you set in Customizing (in Define proportional distribution across plants). You can also make these settings in the Flexible Planning or Standard SOP menu by choosing Settings ® Plant distribution. Plant distribution works as follows:
If a plant or plants can be found for the material in the planning hierarchy, data is transferred to Demand Management for these plants.
If no plant can be found in the planning hierarchy, the system checks to see which plants have been maintained for the material in the material master record. It then checks to see whether distribution quotas have been maintained for the material. If quotas have been maintained, the transfer to Demand Management is based on these quotas.
If no distribution quotas are found for the material, the system checks to see whether you have set generic distribution quotas; that is, distribution quotas that apply to all materials. If so, the transfer to Demand Management is based on these quotas. If generic quotas exist for some but not all plants maintained in the material master record, the system assumes that the distribution quotas of plants without generic quotas are 0.
If no distribution quotas are found at allu2014neither material-specific nor generic onesu2014, the system splits the data equally among all the plants in the material master record.
    See also:
    Plant Distribution Quotas
    Features
Independent requirements are created in Demand Management for all materials whose data has been transferred. These independent requirements are created in the base unit of measure of the material. The base unit of measure of the material is not necessarily the same as the base unit of measure of the information structure or the unit in which you planned the material. See also Switching Units in the Planning Table.
You can transfer SOP data to Demand Management in the following ways:
    Transferring Online, Synchronously and Automatically:
You set the following information structure parameters in Customizing for Sales & Operations Planning (in Set parameters of info structures and key figures).
Field name of the key figure whose values are to be transferred
Planning version from which the data is to be transferred
Demand version to which the data is to be transferred
The system creates or overwrites independent requirements in Demand Management every time you save this planning version of the information structure in Flexible Planning.
    Transferring Online, Asynchronously and Manually
You choose between the following options:
Transfer of the planning data of all members of a single-level product group from standard SOP (a single-level product group is a product group whose members are materials)
Transfer of the planning data created for one material from standard SOP
Transfer of key figure values from an information structure
You make the following general settings:
The material or product group whose data you want to be transferred
The plant of this material or product group
The planning version of the information structure in which the data is stored
The dates for which you want the data to be transferred
Whether you want to check what the data looks like as independent requirements before you transfer it
    The requirements type
If you do not make an entry, the system sets the requirements type via the MRP group which is maintained in the material master record.
The version of the demand program to which you want the data to be transferred
Whether this version of the demand program is active and therefore relevant to MRP
Depending on the option you chose in step 1, you set one of the following strategies.
Transferring Planning Data from a Single-Level Product Group:
You transfer the sales plans of the materials direct.
You transfer the sales plans of the materials as proportions of their owner product group (using the proportional factors defined in the product group master record).
You transfer the production plans of the materials direct.
You transfer the production plans of the materials as proportions of their owner product group (using the proportional factors defined in the product group master record).
Transferring Planning Data of One Material from Standard SOP:
You transfer the sales plan of the material direct
You transfer the sales plan of the material as a proportion of the product group of which it is a member (using the proportional factor defined in the product group master record)
You transfer the production plan of the material direct
You transfer the production plan of the material as a proportion of the product group of which it is a member (using the proportional factor defined in the product group master record)
Transferring Key Figure Data of One Material from Flexible Planning
The information structure from which you want the key figure data to be transferred
The key figure whose values you want to be transferred
This key figure must be a quantity key figure.

  • Splitting of requirement in Demand Management as per Factory Calendar

    Dear Gurus,
Monthly requirements are loaded as 3 months rolling sales plan at the Sales Plant.
Am carrying out automatic splitting while transfering this to demand management. The demand for the month is split into 4 equal parts (Weekly). However, the requirement date is always the first day of the week (Monday).
Am working in a region where the first working day of the week is Saturday.
    Your inputs please.
    Thanks
    Tarang Machhar
P.S. - Have tried to assign an appropriate Factory calendar. But it does not help.

    Hi Tarang,
one option would be to use period based lot size in the material master of the said materials for the said regions.
you need to maintain a planning calender(MD25) that shifts the requirement dates to the previous saturday.
please let me know if u need more details.

  • How requirements from SOP are transferred to Demand Management

How requirements from SOP are transferred to Demand Management? what is transaction code for it ?
    Madan S. Rode

    Hi,
In mc82 view, after checking the capacity situation(By choosing view, capacity situation, show) you can check the load for that particular resource. Once the load is 100 %. You can save it.
Use mc78, copy the inactive version no to active no. (a00).
Then in mc82 view, go to Extras,
    transfer to demand management,
Choose the strategy as LSF/VSF... according to your scenario & then click transfer.

  • Tranfser from demand management to SOP

    Hello All,
is it possible to send  data from demand management (eg.MD61) to SOP - standard information structure S076 or flexible planning ?
The idea is to put values directly to MD61 and use them later in flexible planning
    thanks a lot
    KS

    Dear,
It is not possible. In sap, the planning cycle will be SOP -> Demand management -> MRP
SOPu2019 is a forecasting tool enabling you to set up sales, production, and other supply chain targets based on existing, future, or historical data. SOP is most suitable for planning finished goods. SOP plans are passed on to Demand Management in the form of independent requirements (MD61), which in turn is fed in to MRP (Material Requirements Planning).
    Hope it clear your doubt

  • Release of APO Demand Planning to R/3 Demand Management

    Hi All,
Is there a way to release the forecast in Demand Planning in APO to R/3 Demand Management without passing overwriting the historical buckets in R/3. I have created a special data view that does not contain any historical weeks. However, if we are in week 2 of the month, it overwrites week one of the month in Demand Management with a 0 value when we execute the forecast pass to r/3 job. I don't want to overwrite week one and we actually want to keep the old value there, How can we prevent this from being overwritten?
I have created a data view that does not contain any historical buckets and I am using this in the
    Regards,
    Rumi,

    Hi,
For releasing from DP to ECC , you have taken care of:
    ○       A future planning horizon only
    ○       A planning buckets profile with one periodicity only.
I assume you are using "Week" bucket , please confirm.
In SAP ECC Demand Management, planned independent requirements are created in the same buckets as those of the data view on which the mass processing job is based.
With above things in mind, it  not clear why APO DP release shoud overwrite historical week data, unless you are releasing in monthly buckets rather than weekly buckets.

  • How does the MRP Group determine the Requirement Type

    Hello,
I find in help that the MRP Group or the Strategy Group in the MRP view of the material master record determines what Requirement Type is used.
Could you please tell me in which table / transaction can I find the assignment of Requirement Type to MRP Group? I mean it in case when the Strategy Group has not been maintained.
I will appreciate your help very much.
    Best regards,
    Robert

    Dear,
System will pick the requirement type from strategy group maintained in MRP 3 view of material master, If the strategy group is not maintained, then only system will check the MRP group In MRP1 view and check the strategy group maintained in OPPR
Based on strategy Group- you can find the requirement type In IMG>production> Production Planning >Demand management> Planned Independent requirement -->Planning strategy -->Define strategy , From here you can find the requirement type and requirement class
    and then go to OVZG
if the requirement class have a setting for costing - order costing and costing details, while saving the sale order system will update the cost of goods sold in condition EK02

  • Scheduling the requirement quantities on different dates for different vend

    Dear Gurus,
We have requirement of generating the shcedule line on different dates
in case multi supplier. The part is supplied by 3 different supplier when executing MRP the system generated schedule line on same date for each supplier,
however the business requirement is not to receive all material on same
date. But to receive all the requirements on the 3 consecutive days say for 3 different vendors. We have maintained Quota Arrangement for splitting the requirements order quantity.
Pls suggest the configuration / Material master changes we need to make for the same.

    Hi
If you want different dely dates for each supplier, you maintain different planned dely time in supplier specific inforecord for that particular material.
Hope this will solve your problem.

  • What is demand management .

What is demand management , can any body send me configuration document for Demand Management

    Rakesh,
I guess you must have overlooked the rules of engagement for this forum. It is customary for questioners to first perform basic research before posting any questions.
First, search in the forums (search box in the upper right of this page). FYI The question you raised has been discussed dozens of times. In addition to forum postings, there are numerous articles available for free in the SAP community network.
Next, check online help. This help is generic, and not generally specific to a particular industry:

Next search in one of the standard online search engines (such as Google).
Only after you have performed all of these tasks, and studied all of the online help that is supplied for free by SAP, then consider posting a question to these forums.
If you are unwilling or unable to perform such research, then you should probably engage a consultant to assist you. All consultants use searches to assist them in designing and executing solutions. If you intend to one day become a consultant, you would be wise to cultivate this skill.

  • Help define the requirements for an Oracle Spatial management tool

    Hi,
We are developing a tool that, we hope, will be indispensable for all Oracle Spatial and Locator dbas/users. We've released version 1.0, but we need your help to define the requirements for the next version.
What features would you like to have in a management tool for your spatial databases?
The features we've got so far:
    1. Viewing of vector data in a map + attributes
    2. Loading from shapefiles
    3. Exporting to shapefiles
    4. Validating metadata, indexes and spatial data.
We are adding editing of vectors in the next version - basic stuff for add, update and delete.
But there must be a lot more. What do you find difficult to do in Oracle Spatial/Locator? What would you like in a tool such as this?
Any feedback either to myself or the forum is much appreciated.
    cheers,
    Andrew
    [email protected]
PS If you like to have a look at what we have done so far, go to http://www.geometryit.com/products/spatialConsole.php

Andrew knows what I have asked for but for others to think about and to start
the ball rolling, here's what they are:
    1. Ability to enter own SQL commands but with PARAMETERS for attributes
and shapes as in the following examples:
    SELECT ...
    FROM my_spatial_table a
    WHERE a.ATTRIBUTE = :attr
    AND MDSYS.SDO_RELATE(a.shape,:polygon,'mask=anyinteract') = 'TRUE'
When executed the attribute value is asked for via a input box (data type?)
and the user is asked to define the SDO_GEOMETRY for the :polgygon parameter via mouse clicks on the screen.
Similarly, this would work for INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE...
    INSERT INTO my_spatial_table (shape) values(:polygon)
The data type of an attribute parameter could be determined in two ways:
    a) By querying the Oracle catalog;
    b) By using a "PARAMETERS" command before the query as follows
PARAMETERS name type [(size)] [, name type [(size)] ...]
The PARAMETERS declaration has these parts:
name     The name of the parameter.
type     The type of the parameter.
size     The size of the parameter in characters or bytes.
    2. When executing an SQL SELECT statement I would like the tool
to suggest the HINTS that are needed to improve performance.
    3. Following on from 2, I would like to Tick an option that would return the
EXPLAIN PLAN that the query optimizer used when executing my query.
    4. The tool has to support ALL Oracle's spatial vector data types.
    5. It would be nice to be able to work with GeoRasters. Since Spatial Console
imports/exports shapefiles why not the same for rasters. However, the problem
with supporting foreign data formats is WHERE DO YOU STOP!!!!!
    6. You could allow for the styling of the Spatial Console to be stored in the MapViewer catalogs or use the MapViewer catalogs when styling an Sdo_Geometry if it exists (I note that your tool extracts the SDO_METADATA
why not the MapViewer metadata as well)?
    regards
    S.

  • AR - Requirement to split the receivable line

As part of implementing OrderToCash for an international shipping company, we have a unique requirement to split the receivable line with respect to the number of revenue lines.
Due to the accounting doc having one receivable line, we are facing challenges in applying cash and disputing at the individual line item (shipment level).
We effectively need there to be a 1:1 relationship between a Billing document line and an AR invoice line (currently the AR receivable line is a cumulation of the Billing lines).  This said, is there any configuration or user-exit on the SD or AR side to split the receivable line (at the time of releasing it to accounting) even though it is hitting the same reconciliation account?
    Thanks,
    Anthony

    Hi Anthony
I know that when you enter FI side invoice we can use the 'Amount split' tab on FB70 or FB60 screen after entering the total amount in the 'Basic data' tab.
But I am not sure how to enable it when using copy control from delivery to billing to accounting.
    Assign points if useful...

  • Problem the PSI and Demand Management

Hi, we have a problem with using the PSI to step through stages in the workflow.
When we submit a Project to the Next Stage in a Demand Management Workflow with the PSI, the
Entry and Completion Dates of the previous completed stages changes to
the Submit date of the Current Stage:
When using the Normal Submit button in PWA this does not occur at all
Here is a Code extract that we use to do the PSI Call:
    Has anyone had this before?
    http://blogs.umtsa.co.za/nicoo

    Hi Sai,
Please check the tabl entries in SE16 or similar
    1. Assigned the site to the WH number (T340DT-LOCAT)
    2. Activated TRM for the movement type/Storage types (T347A-KZINA)
    2. Turned two step confirmation on for source and destination storage types (T331_B-QUEIN  & T331_B-QUAUS)
Can you see anything in LTRM TRM monitor (no selections = only enter site number) i.e. a delivery number or TO?
    If not please try:
    1 Transaction LTRCC
    2. Deleting the data delivery/TO and recreated it?
If this does not help, I could take a look at you setup if you allow external access?

  • Demand management - Requirement type

    Dear SAP Experts
Could someone kindly explain to me  What  "Requirement type" ( eg.LSF , BSF) controls, and what settings do i have to make to use any each of them.
How does each affect planning calculations?
    Thanking you all in advernce.
    Richard.

    Hi,
Hope you would have gone through the SAP notes on Requirement Type which is reproduced as under
Strategy for Determining the Requirements Type
    1. First, an attempt is made to find a requirements type using the strategy group in the material master.
    2. If the strategy group has not been maintained, the system will determine it using the MRP group.
    3. If the MRP group has not been defined, the system uses the material type instead of the MRP group when accessing the corresponding control tables.
    4. If no requirements type is found here, the system assumes a special rule and attempts to find a requirements type with the aid of the item category and the MRP type.
    5. If this is not possible, a last attempt is made to find a requirements type with the item category only.
    6. If the last attempt fails, the system declares the transaction as not relevant for the availability check or transfer of requirements.
    Now why we require it.
becuase same requirement types can be assigned to any number of item cateogies for different MRP types. Since item cateogories cannot be assigned to requirement class directly, requirement type is a link between them.
Though requirement type has no feature associated with it, it helps in assigning the correct requirement class in a sales document. Any number of requirement types can be assigned to requirement class. So MRP type in material master plays a vital role in fetching the rquirement class. Hence, you can enter manually the Requirement type in sale order but not Requirement Class.
    Thanks.......rakesh
