Deploy and upload

Through the web management interface, it is possible to upload an ear file from
my desktop to a server and deploy it. However, it seems that there is no way
to "update" or redeploy the ear from the web interface, so instead I ftp it up
to an upload directory, then run the weblogic.deploy tool to redeploy it.
Question: when running weblogic.deploy, my server puts the ear in a .wlstaging
directory, but it doesn't actually update the ear in the applications directory.
no errors are thrown, but the ear in applications clearly is not the same as
the one in .wlstaging. Any reasons why? I am not redeploying as root, but I
am part of a group that has read/write permissions on that directory. does it
need execute as well? is it something else?

There isn't currently. Sorry. I noted this hole the other day. The
command line deployer will do this for you, but it aint an API which is what
you want.
I filed an enhancement to do this in a future release. For now you will
have to implement an upload servlet in the AS and then execute the
deployment.

From your description, my understanding is that you want to capturing images from camera and uploading to sharepoint library automatically automatically upload images to SharePoint library.
You will save images in your local computer after capturing visitors’ image. You could develop a custom timer job to periodically get pictures from the local folder in your computer. Please refer to this article:

I am on windows 7 and I upgraded to 10.0.2 and now it will not open. I have removed firefox completely and uploaded it again and that did not work. So my latest attempt I removed firefox 10 again and uploaded the beta version and once again nothing.

I think when uninstalling you may also have to choose (tick) to delete the preferences and other personal data like the bookmarks, stored passwords etc. to erase completely. If you are installing afresh, please try right-clicking on the file and '''Run as administrator''' to install. And when uninstalling, please also make sure choose to delete all data and also manually delete any '''Mozilla''', '''Mozilla Firefox''' or '''Firefox''' from %appdata%, %localappdata% and %programfiles%. You can open a location by typing for eg. %appdata% in the '''Run''' box (Windows key + R). You may also have to check the '''VirtualStore''' folder in %localappdata%. Files in the VirtualStore can be problematic. I think a clean installation may help.

Browse and Upload

Hey guys,
Im trying to create a browse and upload interface on my website but to no avail. Creating the buttons worked; but making them do what they are suppose to do doesnt. For example, i created a Browse and Upload button. The browse button would search for the file, but the upload button do nothing at all. How do i enable upload to work? Can it be done by html coding? Is it some settings that must be enabled on the server itself?

I don't think I quite understand what you are trying to do? You created a browse function, do you mean search function so you can search for something on your website? Also is the upload function so people can upload content to your server?
To get the upload function to work you will need a lot more than just simple html. Html is not a programming language it is a markup language that just tells the browse what to show. You would need PHP or JS to get an upload function to work with your server.
I bet there are a ton of tutorials on youtube. Try searching for 'how to create an upload function on my website'.
This is beyond what Muse can do. I hope I understood what you were asking. If not please give me more details.

You could follow the instructions in the support document that you linked from. There is a section regarding the passcode and the inability to use it or enter it. However, you may encounter more issues since you cannot use the screen.

What is the simplest way to make and upload video to YouTube?

I’m a video novice trying to figure this out. We want to start making short customer testimonial videos and upload them to YouTube as part of a social media marketing campaign. I want to come up with a solution that is fast and easy, takes as little time as possible. On the recommendation of an associate I bought a Flip Video camera and that worked beautifully except for one problem, the audio volume of the recordings was ridiculously low. So am returning that.
We have a Panasonic PV-GS65 and I can use that, but the only way I've figured out how to make a video there and get it onto my computer is to connect it to iMovie, let it play/load into iMovie, then from there I don’t know how to get it uploaded to YouTube but I'm guessing I have to do some formatting/compressing, then manually upload, and that is all way more hassle than I'm looking for.
I LOVED the simplicity of the Flip Video approach. Shoot it, the camera directly in, select the video, push the upload button and it was done. If the audio quality was better I'd use that for sure.
Any suggestions? If there’s something similar to Flip Video that I can buy cheap and use, I'll do it. If there’s an easy way to use our current camcorder, that’s fine too. But I can’t be messing around for 10-15 minutes trying to import, format and then upload this stuff. I have a business to run.

As I know it uses the ReportingServices2010 class but I cannot explore a reporting server url.
There is a ReportingServices2010.asmx file in the 15 hive though.

Excel Download correct and upload

Hi Oracle Apps Design Gurus,
We are involved in designing an application involving download , correct and upload of quotes data. The specific s of the requirement are:
1. Extract Quotes data: Buyer runs a process to extract Quotes data with select parameters.Selected Quotes data extracted in spreadsheet format.
2. Update extracted Quotes data: Buyer updates the Quote data in Excel. Updated Quotes data is ready to be uploaded into Oracle.
3. Upload modified Quotes data: Buyer uploads the spreadsheet with updated Quotes data into Oracle.     Updated Quotes data is loaded in to Oracle. Exceptions are output in a report.
Some of the constraints of this design:
1. Client has only e-business suite license. No other oracle tools which require license may be used.
2. Client wants to achieve this within the standard framework as far as possible.
3. Complex navigation from one form to another is not wanted.
The first thing that occured to us was the use of Oracle Web ADI for this. But we are not sure as to how that can be used to download correct and upload in the same spreadsheet.
We will be much grateful for any help in desgning this or any alternative approach to the problem.

Huge apple fan, have thousands invested in stock and products. I'm deployed and I want to know a way to play my PS3 through the thunderbolt connector to HDMI? is there any software to support this?

I would like to start off by saying, that I'm a huge apple fan, even own 8 shares. I have everytihing apple, from multiple phones, two ipads, macbook air, macbook pro, time machine, and 2 apple tv's. So, I easliy have invested enough for a reponse. But, I'm really frustrated right now because I'm deployed and I would love nothing more than to be able to play my PS3 on my macbook pro. I know that this would be easily possible if mac devoted a week to a solution. Or maybe there is already software that would allow me to use my thunderbolt connection to HDMI to connect to my PS3. I have the hardware, all I need is a program that would reconize this. This would only help there sales, so I don't understand why you can't already do this. To be able to use your screen on your macbook pro as a TV for your game consoles would be a huge to boost sales. Please tell me if this is possible and what I need to do it? Or please tell me why this is not possible?

What you want is Target Display mode. This mode is only supported in Late 2009 and Mid 2010 27-inch iMacs, and Mid 2011 or newer iMacs, but MacBooks Pro are not supported, so you cannot use your MacBook as a display for your PlayStation 4.
In the case of Late 2009 and Mid 2010 27-inch iMacs, there is an adapter called Kanex XD which allows you to use the iMac as a display for a Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, but Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are not supported. In other words, you need an external monitor for your PlayStation 4.

My Mac assures me that I am connected to the internet, using Airport and also ethernet, but Safari never gives me a home page. Can I download Firefox onto a disk using my Windows PC and then take the disk to the Mac and upload Firefox to use on the Mac ?
