Depot sales invoice

Hi friends,
           We have implemented depot sales, End user made first two invoices with my presence its worked fine. After one day he made third invoice with out my presence, for that invoice is not capturing excise values like BED, AED, ECS and S & H cess. Though we imparted the end users, I don't know what went wrong while entry. Please help me in finding the root cause.

Hi Krishna,
        I think he would have selected wrong Delivery document type while creating the outbound delivery documnet type, check it your problem will be solved.

    I have done SO, Delivery and Excise invoice creation in J1iJ ( i refereed the facory invoices ) and whil saving it is not generating the excise  invoice with number

  • Excise invoice for depot sale

    Friends,
    While creating excise invoice using J1IJ for depot sale we are getting error as "you are not authorised to create".
    Ple guide.

    Do the following once you see the message at the bottom.
    In white top box, input /nsu53.
    Now from top menu bar, click on System -- List -- Send.   Sometimes, this Send tab will be in grey mode.  In that case, at left corner, you can see a tab "Text View".   Click that.  Again click from top "System -- List -- Send  and send a mail to your basis team.

  • Price for excise invoice in depot sale

    Hi Friends
    Actually i am doing stock transfer order from manufaturing plant to depot plant. we know that generally pricing wont be applied in stock transport order, so from where pricing triggers in the billing & excise invoice in depot sale.
    Please advice and reply as soon as possible.

    in pricing procedure determination select sales area through which u r doing STO, Document pricing prosedure as  I and customer pricing procedure as 1 assign your pricing procedure ande pricing condition.
    Make sure that In VOFA for Billing type IV document pricing procedure should be I.
    create conditon record.
    At the time of Billing for STO choose billing type as IV system will aumatically copy all the value in billing.

  • Depot Sales -J1IJ while choosing excise invoice going to dump

    Hi Gurus,
    In Depot Sales: while doing excise invoive from T-code  J1iJ  Go to delivery -RG23D selection select the delivery number XXXXX  Excise Group 51 and series Group: 50  ENTER -  select the line item and click on F6 and here we have to click on excise invoice Button for capturing the Input excise duties for taking the reference.
    we are facing issue  in J1IJ,  when we click on the Choose button (first button below select Excise invoice for delivery statement), we need to get the Excise Invoice number reference which is captured at Plant. When we tried to click on that Choose button, we are not getting any excise invoice numbers and instead itu2019s going to dump .
    Dump analysis says:

    R u following the following flow in case of stock transfer from mfg plant to depot plant.

    MIGO - (Goods Reciept & Excise Capture)

    VF01
    Here at goods reciept you need to capture excise inviove same will populate when you make a sales from plant B using J1IJ transaction.

  • JIiJ : depot sale: Delivery item wise Excise invoice number

    Dear all
    we are using J1ij for depot sale/stock transfer between main plant and its depot outside state.
    we have unique delivery item which corresponds to unique material code. after doing PGI when we go to J1ij and choose the different line items, the excise invoice number that is saved is delivery wise and not delivery item wise. that is for each delivery we get one excise invoice.
    the requirement is that this should be delivery item wise. we have tried trying to save one delivery item but it does ask for the 2nd delivery item and once we delete that 2nd delivery item and save the Ji1j, it allows to save but while going in for the 2nd delivery item, it says the delivery is already excised out.
    did any of the gurus come aross this requirement. if yes how did you resolve this.
    there is one batch program J_1IJCHK but we are that saves without asking for any information.

  • Supplimentary invoice in case of Depot Sale

    Hi,
    During Depot Sales in Indian scenario.
    After doing MIGO I am capturing the Excise invoice at depot through J1IG. In case if the Product is being sold at the same price, after the PGI in depot I am choosing the excise invoice through J1IJ.
    I need some help in case of the selling is at a higher price than the assessable value.
    Say if the selling price has increased by 100 Rs. And correspondingly there would be an increase in E.D/ E. Cess/ S.H.Edu Cess Re 10/ Re 2/ Re 1 . For the Originally transferred qty I am calculating the difference in E.D and capturing via J1IGA at depot for which I am able to see the entries again in the report J1IDEPOTSTOCK1.
    Subsequently at the time of raising Excise invoice at Depot I am choosing both the original invoice and the additional invoice in J1IJ.
    My question is do I need to make any entries (Supplementary invoice) at the supplying plant.
    Please help with the inputs.

    Thanks for the message. I have two questions.
    1. As per the client business process there needs to be a supplementary invoice that needs to be raised at plant, I am not sure how to map it.
    2. Out of 10 Pcs 5 have been sold and there is an increase in price and I need to capture via J1IGA for only the 5 pcs. But when I making entry in J1IGA against the mother invoice the value entered in Addln BED, etc is getting distributed to all 10 Nos instead of being distributed to remaining 5.
    Please help how to go about doing this.

  • Print out of Depot excise invoice

    Hi all,
    Please let me know is there any standard process in which depot excise invoice can be printed. If not what changes to be made to get it in the form of an output.
    The functional flow is that a sale is not happening directly between a plant and a customer, in fact Stocks are first moved to Depot and then the sale is happening between the depot and the customer. Here the customer requires the excise details. How is this scenario managed i.e how does the customer get to know the excise details whem he makes a depot purchase if the depot does not provide him a depot excise invoice output.

  • Cancellation of Depot Excise Invoice

    Hi,
    User has by mistake cancelled the Depot Invoice, reversed the goods issue for Delivery, Deleted the Delivery and Deleted the Sales order. He missed to cancel the Depot Excise Invoice. Now how to Cancel this Depot Excise invoice. In J1IJ, system is asking for Delivery number, but as the Delivery is deleted, it is not allowing.
    Now this Excise invoice has to be cancelled so that the Qty in the Mother invoice will be updated in RG23D.
    I tired in J1IH, but system says "Excise modvat accounts not defined for CEIV transaction and excise group". I have checked the Account assignment but it looks fine.
    Please Help.

    I have tried as per your suggestion. I have entered the Internal number for the Excise invoice number generated for Delivery at Depot, as the input . System says "This excise invoice has been used for Sales Cannot change".

    Is there any difference in invoice calculation part in excise invoice through Factory sales and excise invoice through depot sales?I know the processes but not sure about the excise calulation in these.

    From the point of view of Customer, there is no difference, because he can claim Excise Credit to the extent he has received in your Excise Invoice (factory or Depot).
    From your point of view, as far as Excise Calculation is concerned, there is one basic difference. In Factory Sales you can create new Excise Liability (Say you have received Excise Credit from Vendor as Rs. 100 but you can pass Rs. 120 to Customer by paying the difference to Excise authorities).
    While in Depot Sales you cannot create additional Excise liability & only pass the Excise Credit that you have received from source (Factory In this case).

                       I have configued Depot Sales Process . And able to sucessfully create a Depot Excise Invoice . I wish to know if there is any standard program (to print Depot Excise Invoice) available in SAP . If not then what is the process and how do I configure it . Client wants to take a print on Pre-Printed stationary .If any one can please send me the <b>complete details</b> , it will be of a great help to me .

    Hi,
    It depends upon your business configuration, if you are using the MRP Price at the Depot then the excise duties are included so you will have to mark the JEX2 condition as statistical but if you have the basic price then the JEX2 should be non statistical as you will be recovering these excise duties from the customer. But in any case the JEX2 value should be printed on the invoice as the customer has to avail the excise credit based on these values.

    we are generating depot excise invoice based on delivery, i want back dated excise invoice date.  like delivery date i have changed by manually.... but excise date is showing system as on date.  is there any option to change excise date manually... when we are creating depot excise invoice....

    SAP 99.9 % will never skip the number range on its own.
    As per my understanding:
    1.Some one has manually deleted the Depot Excise Invoice number after creation (due to the user mistake at selecting the 
      appropriate Incoming Excise invoice, Price , material or etc reason. And while creating the New Depot excise Invoice Number  
      he forget to adjust the number range at object 'J_1IDEPINV' for corresponding Series Group. This u can confirm by checking
      the entry at Item level, instead of Header at it will not show that entry.
    2.May be due to the Depot Sales Returns for respective Depot Invoice canceled and Deleted by the user.
       Here, deleting the excise Invoice is not Valid practice as per Excise Tax rules of GOI.
    3. Kindly check, whether Number Range Changes happend for respective Series Group between the Fiscal Year 2010-11.
    Please feel free to correct me and It will be a value addition if you find any other solution.

  • Depot Excise Invoice number skipped ???

    Hi Everyone
    For Ex. say our depot excise invoice number range is from 1to 100, assuming the current number is 51. Some day back there was a jump in the depot excise invoice number range. In between 1 and 51 the number "25" is missing.
    So the excise department has asked the company as to why we have skipped the number 25.
    I have checked the table J_1IRG23D, but the skipped excise invoice number is not appearing in the tables, I mean it says "No table entries found for the specified key"
    Our Company wants to know the exact reason as to why the system has skipped the depot excise invoice number "25".
    Whether it is the system mistake or user mistake or some body else fiddling with the system.
    Please offer you valuable suggestions to solve this problem

    I have created. 
    Depot Sales Order->Depot Delivery.
    Now i am creating Depot excise invoice in J1IJ.i am getting error when i enter delivery no, excide group & Series group
    error:-
       4F:550 TDL TD12 E3 E3
    TDL-company code
    TD12- Plant(Depot)
    E3-Excise group
    E3-series group.
    NOTE:-  we dont want to configure default excise group & series group config.

    I got the Solution.
    Tell your ABAPER  to find out Object in "SAPMJ1IJ" PROGRAM
    source code of MJ1IJF01.
    in my case the object was "J_1IDEP_S1"
    1) check whether that object is assigned to user or not(from Basis guy)
    2)Check whether values of following are assigned in  that object or not(Basis guy)
    Activity
    Company Code
    Plant
    Excise group
    Excise document series group
    take the help of Basis guy to Resolve it.

    We make a STO from factory to depot. I have posted the depot excise invoice via J1IJ but Im unable to see the accounting entry for the excise invoice..
    Im able to see the acounting entry for excise invoice for factory sales thru J1IIN..

    I would like to explore more for ur info.
    When u create Excise invoice at Factory Using J1iin, accounting entries flow to the system. When u transfer it to Depot, u credit the Excise amount using MIRO and post it to RG23D ( Depot Register)
    The value of the excise for which u have taken credit from ur factory would be passed on to customer now.
    If you notice carefully, when u take credit of Excise entry in RG23d No accounting entry flows in the system, only value & qty gets updated to Register.
    Generally, while deciding the selling price from depot  u consider Basic price + Excise duty. since u are passing on the excise benefit to customer, using proforma excise invoice (transaction J1IJ)
    So there is no wuestion of accounting entries.
    Hey CIN Gurus.. correct me if i am haveing any misconcepts regarding this.
