Derivation of Sales Office, Customer gr, Sales gr and Sales district

Hi,
In the derivation, of Customer group, Sales Group, Sales Office and Sales District in Profitability Analysis, the standard derivation looks into the table KNVV. But how to pickup the derivation from the sales document where the user selects the values against the said characteristics. Kindly share whether it is possible to derive the said characteristics from billing document table and how. Any valuable inputs shall be highly appreciated.

    if so then u do one thing.. enter the Tcode and then in variant name .. keep the field empty and search for Transaction variant by giving only the tcode.VA11
    if u find any transaction variants for Va11 then u can use that or else serach with VA01 and c how many Transaction Variants u r getting.. to my guess u must only be getting BUS2030..
    if that is the case u have to create new transaction variant for va11 and then proceed the process

    Same in the case of VA21 .. giving sales org , dist chnl, div is not compulsary.. just give the document type and can proceed..

  • Assign Sales Office to a GL Account and Profit Centre

    Where do I assign a Sales Office to a GL Account and Profit Centre.

    Currently a when we create a sales document for a plant, that document is posting to a specific GL account  (Cash on Hand account) and profit centre. In VKOA, the Account Assignment Group is assignment to a GL Account, and that AAG is assigned to the material master. I want to find out how SAP is currently determining to which profit centre and GL Account it is posting to. The only thing that I can get is the Plant and sales office in the Sales document. I want to know the determination factor.

  • Sales Office is not being copied from Sales Contract

    Dear SD Gurus,
    In DP90(Resource-Related Billing Request), order type LV (Debit Memo Request for Contract) is generated. In the complection procedure, I have set sales office as a mandatory field. I'm expecting the sales office to be copied from sales contract when I generate ZLV(when I run DP90) but sales office is not being copied over. The strange thing is, it will only work for certain sales areas where the sales office will be copied from sales contract but not for some.
    In the service order, I can see the sales org data where the sales office appears but it doesn't get copied to LV.
    Any idea what has happened?

  • Different sales office in billing rather than the sales office in contract

    Hi,
    I have a servive contract creted for Rs. 1000/-. I have periodic billing activated in contract. When I create a billing document I have to create it for different sales office. It means my service contract have sale office X and my bill should have sales office like Y in one billing and Z in another billing.
    Please suggest how to get this done ?

    I need this in the scenario mentioned below.
    We have a scenario for service contracts.. Company X entered into a services contract with customer A.  Both the company and customer have offices round the country.  In a month when I am doing the periodic billing my company X knows that only 2 offices of the company have participated in providing the services to the customer at the respective locations.. It means that customer didn't get any problem in other locations.
    In the above mentioned case I wanted to segregate the bill amount to only to the 2 sales offices who have really performed the service. So that in a year ,company X wanted to know that how many sales offices involved in providing service to the customers and also in what ratio..

    Dear SD Expert,
            Base on ECC 6.0, I have to set authorization which check u201CSales Officeu201D in create/ change / display all sales document.
             I found that authorization object u201CV_VBKA_VKOu201D contain authorization filed ; that are, sales org, distribution, division, sales office and sales group. Also u201CV_VBKA_VKOu201D have assign to (Transaction code: VA03, VF03) as standard SAP (see in T-Code : SU24) . However, when I assign; for example, T-Code u201CVA03u201D, u201CVF03u201D in PFCG. After generated profile, only u201CSale org, distribution chan., and divisionu201D is pop-up.  I wonder that
    1)     Why u201CSales officeu201D dose not show in u201Corganization levelu201D ?
    2)     How can I set u201CSales Officeu201D as an organization level?  for checking an authorization
    Please give me step-by-step.

    We need to restrict authorization for customer master, sale order and billing based on sales office.
    Can somebody guide me how to activate this ?  Has anyone of you have successfully done that?

    Hello Kumar,
    User authorization is within Basis expertise, but if you want to get some feel for what authorization objects are take a look at trans SUIM.  But basically how it works is for a given transaction the level of check is specified -- in this case Sales Office.  Based on values stored in that field the user is allowed or not allowed transaction access. 
    So you determine whatever the needed matrix is for authorization restriction (i.e. user A can access Sales Office xxx, user B can access Sales Office yyy & so on).  Also give Basis the transaction codes to restrict, along w/the technical table/field for each (like from customer master - KNVV-VKBUR, from sales doc level VBAK-VKBUR). Basis sets up the authorization object w/assignments to the users accordingly.
    This is standard SAP & your Basis support should be familiar with it.  Good luck.

  • COPA authorization by sales office

    In my COPA environement we have many branches each branch is a cost center and sales office (one to one relation). In my KE30 report I want Mangers of each sales office to see their report only. In KE37 we are able to retrict users by company code but was unable to restrict by sales office. If I select the sales office in KE37, the users will be restricted if (*) is selected for sales offices, but if I choose one sales office the report will not be executed. I tried to develop a report where the sales office will be variable and should be selected in the KE30 report screen like compnay code,  and period but I failed. Any input please.

    Please review and implement note 165087.
    As soon as you created your own authorization objects in transaction
    KE37 or KE97 and assigned it to a certain user the system checks the
    user's authorization before he or she executes a report in transaction
    KE30 or KE24.
    Please read the description in transaction ORKE: > Tools > Authoriza-
    tion Management > CO-PA-Specific Authorization Objects:
    - Define Authorization Objects for the Information System (Text button
       on the left).
    Please also review and implement note 165087.
    In order to analyze this issue please check the authorizations for the
    relevant user in transaction SU01 and which authorization objects are
    checked when this user execute transaction KE24 (> run a authorization
    trace; transaction ST01).
    Please ask your authorizations guy to check the customizing of the
    authorization object again (on the basis of the documentation in
    transaction ORKE and the authorization trace in transaction ST01).

  • Limited Sales Office in drop down

    All,
    At present we have 5 sales office in the live system now management redifined Sales Offices due to which one new sales office needs to be created ,2 will become obselete due to merging and 1 will remain as it is
    Now sales office which become obselete should not be in usable state menas user should not see it in drop down option at the time of creation of customer and at the time of created of Sales Order.
    How to control this ?
    We cannot delete them as transactional data lying with them.
    Please suggest.

    You can remove the assignment of sales office with Sales area so that they will not be displayed while creating Sales order.
    In case if you do not want to remove the assignments of the Sales office from the system you can rename the Sales office as do not use so that they are not picked by the order entry team.

    Hope you guys can help me on this,
    Need to implement a new infoset query for segmentation data on CRM 7.0 Web UI Segmentation applet, beacuse the std. ones do not support customer´s needs.
    The customer needs to make segmentation of partners - sales reps. (BP) by sales office. I believe the best way would be using the assigment of these sales reps. to the sales organization on the PPOMA of CRM, but I cannot use the table "P1000" on 'SQ02' - any ideas or solutions?

    Thanks for your help on this...your tip really helped but this table does not provide the sales office field, it just goes to Sales organization; distribution channel and divison...I need to go further on this. Another point is that it would be great if I have the sales organization description, not just the ID.

    My present client have 4 sales organization NEWS (North EAST WEST SOUTH).Each sales organization consists of different sales office, now in this present fiscal year(2014) some sales office are going to change their sales org.
    When we execute the query for previous to previous year (2012 & historical data) the sales office should remain in original sales organization, while for current and previous year the sales offices should show the new sales organization.

    I have tried with time dependent characteristics, but it requires compulsion entering of key date in selection screen while report execution which is not feasible. Also we are having thousands of reports, while some consisting of last 3 years of data and making changes to all this won’t be suitable option.
    So without any involvement of key date can we achieve this task?

  • Customers, Sales Orders Restrictions based on Sales Office and Sales Groups

    hi all,
    We have a typical scenario for one of our customers. They are SAP ERP, ECC 6.0.
    They have sales employees/managers assigned to customers. In order to maintain the link between the sales employees and the customers, their earlier implementation partner followed the following method for the linkage.
    Each sales employee and each sales managers are given a SAP User ID like 101, 012, 103 etc.. Sales groups OR Sales offices are also maintained with the same numbers/IDs. At the customer master level, each customer's sales group is given the sales employee ID (which is same as that of the sales group). The example is as follows.
    Customer No.             Sales Group                 Sales Office                                                                               
    CU1                              101                             108
    CU2                              101                             108
    CU3                              102                             108
    CU4                              103                             109
    CU5                              104                             110
    The sales group names and the sales offices names are given the same names as that of the user IDs of the sales employees/sales managers. In the above example, the sales employee 101 (sales group 101) is assigned to customers CU1, CU2. The sales manager 108 (Sales office 108) is managing the sales employees 101 and 102.
    Now the customer has some authorization issues. He wants us to provide authorizatinos in such a way that -
    if the sales employee 101 logs on to the system he should be able to Display the CUSTOMERS and the Sales Orders (XD03, VD03, VA03) that are assinged only to him (In other words with the sales group 101) and similarly for other sales employees.
    if the sales manager 108 logs on to the system he should be able to display the customers and the sales orders that are assigned to his sales employees (101, 102). In other words with the sales office as the manager's ID 108.
    I tried to use the authorization object V_VBKA_VKO but this doesnt see to be serving the purpose as this object is not being checked at all in any of the above VA03, XD03 and VD03 transactions.
    Similarly I did not find any other authorization object which makes use of Sales group field and Sales office field which also has a linkage to VA03, XD03 and VD03 transactions.
    The customer is evaluating our contract with them based on this solution.

    You need new fields in LVKDFI structure, for example sales office.
    when you created news fields, them you implemented include VV05HFZ2, for example you can loop structure lvkdfi and select sales office from vbak or likp and write this in new fields.

    <b>Use</b>
    When you create sales statistics, you can use a sales office as one of the selection criteria. When you print out order confirmations, you can include the address of the sales office.
    <b>Procedure</b>
    You can assign each customer to a sales office in the customer master record.
    <b>Note</b>
    Within a sales office you can establish sales groups (for example, departments) with specific sales responsibilities. Each person who works in the sales office can be assigned to a sales group in his or her user master record. Each customer can also be assigned to a particular sales group in the customer master record.
    <b>2) Sales Groups</b>
    <b>Sales group</b>
    A group of sales people who are responsible for processing sales of certain products or services.
    <b>Use</b>
    By using sales groups you can designate different areas of responsibility within a sales office.  When you generate sales statistics, you can use the sales group as one of the selection criteria.
    <b>Example</b>
    If sales office personnel service both retail and wholesale markets, you can assign a sales group to each market.
    <b>Procedure</b>
    You assign each salesperson to a sales group in his or her user master record. You assign each customer to a particular sales group in the customer's master record.

  • Restriction on Sales Office for Sales Transaction

    Dear All
    We have a requirement to restrict our derived roles for SD modules on division and Sales office. By default , division (org element) is coming in Auth tab , however sales office is not populated. Hence , as of now we are able to restrict on Division only.
    To restrict on Sales office as well, i have followed below options:
    1) Manually added object "V_VBKA_VKO" in profile and maintained field "VKBUR". ---- Didn't work.
    2) Added object "V_VBKA_VKO" for va01 in su24. Then added va01 in role and restricted it for Sales office through "VKBUR" field. --- Didnt work.
    Please help , how can we restrict this based on Sales Office also.

    Hi,
    Please troubleshoot as below,
    Check if respective sales structure is maintained in SPRO to control it on sales office.
    Put ST01 trace and see if any object is coming in the trace for sales office.
    You have to maintain that object with respective sales office.
    If you want sales office to come as org level you will have to define this field as org field with PFCG_ORGFIELD_CREATE report, (Please note once you convert this as org field it will be reflected for all objects which has this field.
