Determine possible agents of a standard task

Dear Experts,
is there any way to find out the possible agents of a Standard Task. The agents are assigned fix. Without any rule.
Not for the runtime but for the definition time.
I searched for function module but didn't find anything.
Do you have a hint for me in which tables the possible agents of an standard task are saved.
Thanks a lot for your help.
with kind regards
goekselin

Function SWD_GET_TASK_AGENTS should do the job for you, if I remember correctly.

  • Retrieving possible agents of the next task

    Hi All,
How can I retrieve the possible agents of the next task in the previous task?
My requirement is  to list all the possible agents of the next task and select an agent among them who will execute the next task.

    hi,
If you want retreive the possible agents depending on the role or position in the  org structure, then create a agent finding rule.
And if u want to find the agents dependent on the task, SWD_CHECK_TASK_AGENTS, u can check whether agents exists or not.
and u can retreive using SWD_GET_TASK_AGENTS.
    hope this helps.

  • User in possible agent list but no task in user's workplace

    Hello,
i had a small problem with my workflow. The process works fine but sometimes i can see an interesting situation - in the log of wf I can see that one concrete user is in a list of possible agents - BUT when i log in as this user i see NO tasks in SBWP.
    Any ideas?
    Thx,
    JJ

    Hello,
Check the agent assignment of the user decision:
Transaction PFTC_DIS, standard task xxxx and then Additional Data > Agent Assignment > Display
If a popup says that no agents are assigned, there is your problem, my suggestion is to modify it as a general task: Additional Data > Agent Assignment > Maintain > attributes > general task

    Hi All
In transaction PFTC_CHG I'm trying to Delete Agent Assignment (Shift + F2), the screen simply refreshes and the action is not performed - the user is not deleted from the Demo Workflows parent folder? I'm not sure how to change or remove this entry? Authorisations check out fine.

  • How to trigger standard task manually in Process controlled workflow?

    Hi All,
I would like to trigger a task mannually in BRF, process controlled workflow. My requirement is to send an approval notification to the approvers at the current approval level, at any instance by the requestor of the shopping cart. In that case, will it be possible to trigger the standard task 40007953 (SRM Shopping Cart Approval (1)) with the workitem of Shopping cart under consideration?
I have tried searching for the same in SDN and other forums but most of the information was regarding application controlled workflows. None of those function modules seems to be working in PCW.
Any pointers on how to trigger a standard task (using FM or code) in BRF(process controlled workflow) environment is also highly appreciated.
    Thanks,

  • Error: You are not one of the possible agents of task 'WS99900032'

    Hi frnds,
I have copied the std leave request workflow WS12300111 into WS99900032 and assigned in the SPRO setting. The approvers are determined using the workflow rule (PFAC) and its not determined from Org Management. But when i tried to apply leave, its throwing me the error You are not one of the possible agents of task 'WS99900032'.
Can anyone give me solution to solve it?
    thanks,
    Suganya.

You are not one of the possible agents of task 'WS99900032'
You need to refresh the  organizational environment and then execute the workitem
    1. First make the workflow tempalte as General task and then
Goto PFTC ---> enter the workflow tempalte number by selecting workflow template  ---> open in display mode and on menu Addtional Data ---> agent assignment  ---> Maintian ---> select General task
    2. Goto SBWP  -
    > Seetings  -
    >workflow settings -
    > refresh ornozational environment and then try to execute the workitem

  • ESS- Leave : You are not one of the possible agent for the task ws9021212?

    Hi ,
I have copied the standard workflow template wa12300111 and assigned the new template in the customizing. When i apply leave from ESS working time , it says an error " You are not one of the possible agent for the task ws9021212? " .
The similar kind of Error i have solved before in by making the workflow as GENERAL TASK in PFTC as follows.
PFTC -> Choose "Workflow Template" from the drop down -> Enter the workflow template id "ws9021212" in the text box -> now click on "change" button -> Now goto the menu addional data -> agent assignment -> maintain -> select the task text -> and set it as general task.
i have cleared the buffer also!
BUT STILL I AM GETTING THE ERROR ?
    Please help me !

    hi Richard
Try to do this way.  IN the workflow builder there is a button with hat. that is basic data. click on that and  it will go to another screen and u can find a apple button that is agent assignment for a task click that.
It will open maintain agent assignment screen. click the text below that and click the attribute button and click the genral task. i think this will solve ur issue.
    If helpful kindly reward points

  • You are not one of the possible agents of task 'WS20000081'

    Hi,
I need to trigger the workflow WS20000081 using the service. This workflow gets triggered by 'Create Leave Request' service which is in ESS.
To test the above said workflow, I need to execute the service WS20000081 in R/3. But when I execute this service from Service User log-on, it throws an error as follows.
<b>You are not one of the possible agents of task 'WS20000081'.</b>
Even after I changed the task assigment as 'General Task', it keeps giving the same error.
Please suggest me how to solve this problem.
    Regards,
    jey

There are agents assigned for a task in the workflow. The same role has been assigned to my user id.But it does not work
I saw in Debug that it tries to execute the Method 'EXECUTE' in the Class CL_SWF_RUN_WORKFLOW_START..which checks for authorization internally.
I never know why this is failing.
I checked in another box which is upgraded to ECC .
There inside the Method Execute it takes a parameter m_task->properties-general = 'X'
and TCLASS = 'NO_CLASS'.These r passed to the authorization check which succeds there.
    But in this system m_task->properties-general  = '  ' and Tclass = '  '.
Can anyone pls suggest how to go abt this.

  • I have assigned standard task as General Task in agent assignment but why there is a red flag beside the agent assignment property in task property like the image below?

I have assigned standard task as General Task in agent assignment but why there is a red flag beside the agent assignment property in task property like the image below?

    Hi Atiq
    Now that's concerning.....!!!
This error usually shows up when the workflow is not able to resolve the outcome of the decision....no branch is there for the selected decision.
Since, the standard workflow is also going in an error....this is something wrong...
Did anyone play around with the standard decision task?
I am not sure if this will help, try generating the task and standard workflow by executing the FM SWD_WFD_REPLICATE_FROM_9999 from SE37 directly. First, generate the task (give full task ID TS00008267 as the input and execute; and then the standard verification workflow in the next exec).
Try and test again...if this works, generate your custom workflow again like this.
The above is a pure guess and I am not sure if this will work.

    Modak

    Hello,
You would be better off starting your own thread, and I hope that unlike the poster above you will share the result when you find a solution.
Has your task been set to General Task? If not, try that.

  • Is it possible to adding a "standard" custom approver?

    Hi forum,
We have a requrement that the user needs to approve the last stage. I've been experimenting with custom field and adding  <virsa_ae_wrkflapvr ID="ZTRAINEE" APPROVER="ZTRAINEE" wftype="AE"/> to the init_clean_snf_insert_data file. As far without success. Is it possible to adding a "standard" custom approver?
These users will be registred in UME through LDAP.
    Kind Regards,

    Hi VIt,
it is possible to create a custom field that automatically fetches the user id by using LDAP mapping concept.
What you can  do this bycreate a custom fields in CUP of field type as text. Then Go to Configuration-> fields mapping-> LDAP mapping.
Now in additional field  select the custom field in AC field and user id ( "sAMAccountName" in case of active directory ) in LDAP field.
Now when user login from end user form its information will come to CUP application userid will be also populated in the custom field that you have created.
If you want provisioned user to be the approver it is difficult to achieve but can be done by one solution  In CUP apart from the standard approvers , you can create custom approver determanator. Configuration->Workflow->Custom Approver Determinator. It can be created on the basis of various CUP.attributes like request type, priority, role, custom fields etc. But you have define clearly in this if request has this value for this attribute than this will be the approver. So above created custom fields will have userid right. So you can create CAD for this custom fields. and than can define if User id is this then this is the approver. In you case if Custom field has values USER_NAME that Apprvoer is USER_NAME. All users in this case should exist in UME. Also CAD needs to be maintain for every user this will be tedious task. you can upload this by excel sheet also.
Hope that it would be helpfull..

  • Help on how to add an Standard Task to a position

    Hi all!
I would like to know if someone can explain me how to assign a an standard task to a user/position via TCODE PFTC.
Thanks in advance for your help!
    Andrea

    Rose,
Don't add anything in Expression (workflow step) and add your positions or jobs or dierctly user or Org unit to the task all the people under that org unit or position or job or users which are assign to that task will recieve that mail.
Now after this if you add a rule in Expression (workflow) then if you get somebody from that rule who is not assigned to the task he won't recieve the mail.
Responsible agents are generally assigned at workflow step level but they can also be assigned at task level.
Responsible agents should also be possible agents....hope you know this.

  • Removing the user from standard task group

    Experts,
I need to remove the one user from the standard task "Display MC Document (outbound w/o IDoc)". Since it is a standard task I'm not able to make any changes.
I hope I need to change in the agent which is assigned to this task. But donno how to find the agents assigned to this task.
Please help me in resolving this.
    Thanks,
    Naveen

    Hi Naveen,
If that user assigned as the 'Possible agent' of the task then you can remove the user easily.
In the workflow template, go that activity. Under the Task ID there is a option called 'Agents' and click that icon to open. In the new screen, the possible agents of this task will be displayed.
Select the desired user and delete it.
    Thanks,
    Viji.

  • RSWUWFML2 sending mail to all possible agents

I have configured RSWUWFML2 and it is sending mail to Notes fine just the wrong agents.  I am wanting to send workflow messages from tasks etc in Quality Notifications and I have created an org structure and just assigned this structure as the agent in the workflow config.  When I assign an individual in the notification to a task only that user is getting the actual workflow in SBWP, which is great,  however notes mails are being sent to all possible agents, i.e. those in the org structure.  Anybody encountered this before? and how to stop it?

Please check in the workflow log which are the agents it is going to?
I think it is going to all users and the user you are saying is also receiving at.
Please make your agent assignment properly in order the workitem not being sent to all users.
    Thanks
    Arghadip
