Dev links disappearing after admin tab used(3.01)

I just installed 3.01 yesterday. Today I am working on an application that creates/alters user accounts via htmldb_util . To test my app, I had (IE7) an admin session open (via a Tab in the same browser). I noticed that after I return from the admin functions of looking at user accounts, my developer links at the bottom of the page (edit page/debug, etc) are missing and I have to exit & restart my dev session to get them back.

I am not sure exactly if my exact app is the problem, since I am not doing anything out of the ordinary. Let me try to give you a better explaination of what I am doing...it happens regardless of what page I am on, and I bet (haven't verified this yet) whatever app I have open.
I open IE 7 and open up my developer session for APEX, selecting any page and run it. The developer links at the bottom of the window (IE: DEBUG, EDIT PAGE) are there and they work fine. And will continue to work fine until I open up another IE 7 tab, and log into the APEX Administrator's site as an admin, select manage workspaces, and I have been working with users. IF I go back to the first tab, which is still on the developer's session and my page gets refreshed, all of the developer's links at the bottom of the page are gone, and I must re-log on to my developer's session in order to get back into edit mode.
At this point I am not really running in a production mode at all, just testing and developing.
You lost me on that last sentence....sorry.... But I was thinking that somehow the authentication used by the admin session confused my developer's session and changed my account information, although the admin account I was using in the 2nd session doesn't have specfic rights to the workspace, but it still should have developer's privileges by default, right?
It is no big deal, I just thought it was worth mentioning and maybe be put on some dusty list of things to check when time permits.
If you want more specific information after reading all of this, let me know. I can export into an online apex environment, but I am not sure it is really worth the effort, as my app is now working and I don't know how many times I would have the need to have both an admin account AND a developer's account open at the same time. Actually, my workaround was to open the FLOW_FND_USER table in a TOAD session and watch my results that way!

Links disappear after optimization

Hi everybody, I have got a problem optimizing a pdf document with existing links.
The PDF has been created by converting a word document, and the links were created automatically. The optimization of this document removes all the links. I have tried to change the options of the optimization (remonving the option called "ignore invalid links") : the links are there but they are invalid and I cannot open their properties.
I did a last test (to be sure) with a pdf created with LaTeX : the existing links are not removed and are still valid after optimization.
Finally I am using version 9 of Acrobat Professional.

Hi Bernd and Bill ! Sorry for such a late answer (I am not working everyday).
The answer to Bernd's question is : Yes, I can see link properties before the optimization, and moreover the links are correct, I have checked that.
So I am quite sure that the links actually exist and that they link to the correct page.
To answer Bill's question, I could make the PDF using the PDF Maker tool in WORD, to see what occurs.
But I would like to solve this problem, because for us the best thing to do is to use the PDF that is given to us, so that we don't lose time making another pdf if the one we have is ok.
It is the first time links disappear optimizing a pdf issued from word, but the pdf has links but NO bookmarks. When the pdf has links AND bookmarks, optimization does not make them disappear (I hope I am clear enough )

I can't seem to open links in a new tab using the scroll-click in my mouse anymore.

I've been able to open new tabs clicking the mouse wheel without a problem for as long as I can remember. Today, it just doesn't work, I updated firefox to v8 yesterday and since then it didn't work. I just installed the v9 in beta, in the hopes that it would work, but it doesn't.
Using control+click does work, and everything else works smoothly, but middle clicking to open new tabs does not.

My notes disappear after 5 days - using 3Gs

I went to the genius bar and they couldn't explain it.

What service was being used to sync your Notes? iCloud? Some other syncing service such as your email account?
Did you go to the Notes app and make sure that all the accounts are enabled?

Client desktop pictures disappear after admin share screen

I share my screen with 15 computers in my lab. When I quit the process and clients have access again, several machines lose their custom desktop pictures. It seems to fix itself if they log out and log back in. Any ideas on what causes this?

What version of the mac os x is the client computers running?
if one of the effected users, on an effected computer sets their desktop picture, then logs out, and then logs back in, do they still keep the custom desktop picture? or dose it default back to the generic picture?
On the effected computers, dose the issue happen on all user accounts? Or just specific user accounts? If you create a new local user account, dose it have the same issue?

Release Tab in purchase order disappear after release using ME29n

We are busy testing support stacks (upgrading from ECC6 SAP_APPL SAPKH60305 to SAPKH60307)and we've come accross a strange problem. When we create a normal purchase order (ME21n) the purchase order does pick up a release strategy. Using the older ME28 transaction to release this purchase order, everything is fine. We can use ME28 to release the purchase order, as well as unreleasing the purchase order, as often as we want (the same purchase order). When we use transaction ME29n the release tab in the purchase order just simply disappears after saving. In the purchase order header changes, the release change is visible, but the release tab is missing. This purchase order is now not subject for release, and a goods receipt is possible without release. I checked in table EKKO as well and the release fields in this table for this purchase order is empty.
Has anybody had a similar experience? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Safari 3.0: How do I force all links to open in tabs without using cmd?

In a number of other browsers it's easy to set all links to open in tabs. I don't want any separate windows to open and I don't want to have to use the keyboard to force every single link into a tab.
How do I get Safari to do strictly tabbed browsing?

Before posting the very same question, I searched first (like a good boy should) and found your post....which addressed the exact question I have.
I'm in the process (of hopefully) of transitioning from years of using Firefox to Safari. The reason: I'm amazed at how quickly web pages open in Safari compared to Firefox.
Anyway, after installing a few Safari add-ons, I'm feeling pretty good about the transion -- except for the fact that I NEVER want Safari to open anything in a separate window unless I specifically ask it to. Evidently, it's simply not designed to do this...

I used to open, bbc radio 2, with a left click on the 'listen' tab? this now longer responds, I have to now right click the mouse button and open link in a new tab? whats wrong

the user jay_ff shows how to do it using the Menu Editor Add-on
1. Install the Menu Editor add-on from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/menu-editor/ .
2. After the installation, go to Firefox> add-ons (or simply use Ctrl+Shift+A)
3. Go to the Menu Editor "Options"
4. In the "Main context menu," simply grab the "Open link in New Tab" and place it below the "Open Link in New Window"
5. and Voila! You may also change other menu options if you want to!
I tried jay_ff method first and found that indeed changing the Main Context Menu did cause the hotlink context menu to change as well.

Emails disappearing after use of Tablet

Occasionally when using just my laptop emails do not appear in Outlook 2007 even though I subsequently find them in webmail. This only seems to have become a problem in the last year or so. That's a bad enough problem. (My email is set up as POP3).
However, I also find that if I read my emails first on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 some do not subsequently appear in Outlook. I have my email on the tablet set to NOT sync (because I only use it occasionally and do not want loads of emails pouring in when I do turn it on) and to retain emails on the server.
The problem has just become very bad with about half of 30 emails not arriving in Outlook after 3 days use of the tablet. Indeed half of the missing emails were not even in my InBox on webmail but were in Deleted, even though I hadn't even deleted them on the tablet.
What is going on and how do I solve it?

Release strategy of contract disappeared after using of tr. MEMASSCONTRACT. I know why it happened, but I don't know how to correct it. Some time ago IN ECC5 we added a field to a table EKKO and used this field as one of characteristics in the release strategy of contracts. In order to transfer value of this field to field CEKKO-USRC1 we used User Exit EXIT_SAPLEBND_002. This User Exit is suitable only for online transactions (ME31K, ME32K). How can I feel field CEKKO-USRC1 in transaction MEMASSCONTRACT?
