You appear to be experiencing Bug 3448802 Exp/Imp view problems if LOB tablespace blocksize different to table blocksize.
The issue is reported to be fixed in 9.2.0.8 server patch and 10.2.0.1 base release.
Without access to Metalink, you will be unable to get the 9.2.0.8 patch.
You can try making the tablespaces the same block size for both the table and the LOB segment to see if that works around the problem you are experiencing.

  • Time Difference Please help

I want to take the current date/time and save it into a Timestamp database field
After sometime (depent on the user)
I do the the same thing (take the current date/time and save it into a Timestamp database field)
and after i subtract the last timestamp from the 1st and take the difference in minutes.
I would prefer a sample code
    although any help is appreciated!

This is easy enough that I'll let you code it. Use the getTime() method of java.sql.TimeStamp. This returns a long value. Subtract the later from the earlier, divide by 60000 ( # of milliseconds in a minute) and you have you answer.
    Details left to you.

    steph,
    Please re-state your premise.
    1) Did you actually download and install an alleged adobe flash player, or not?
    2) Was this download a "pop-up" during a browser session, or a "pop-up" on the taskbar?
If it pops up from the browser session, always ignore it. Go to the offical webpage and then download.
    3) Was "babylon" your original main search page, or did you get it with the download install?
You could attempt to fix it with a restore point prior to the install of this program.

From the ABAP perspective, few differences are.
The WS_* function modules used in 4.6c has become obsolete from 4.7C. All the WS_* FMs have been replaced by GUI_* FMs.
(ii) Concept of Unicode is introduced.
(iii) Few tables have been modified in ECC6.0.
Tables TVARV & TTREX have been replaced by TVARVC & TTREXN respectively.
(iv) we have enhancement points and enhancement sections along with enhancemnts and BADI'S . and we can write the part of code in those points.
For functional differences please check out the following link:

ECC->enterprise central component.ECC 6.0 is the advanced version.if we consider in technical point of view then i can give u one example.
In the new version we have enhancement points and enhancement sections along with enhancemnts and BADI'S.SAP has provided these ,so that without going for access keys we can write our code in the enhancement points along with Standard SAP code.So now SAP has provided more user friendly environment. Also a new DEBUGGER also arrived with the new version. Now we can see more things in the new er version of DEBUGGER.

  • Difference between storing sysdate and to_date(to_char(sysdate, 'DD Mon YYY

What is the difference between storing sysdate or to_date(to_char(sysdate, 'DD Mon YYYY HH:MI AM'),'DD Mon YYYY HH:MI AM') in a date data type column?
When I column value is set with sysdate the following query gives no records
    select *
    from Test
    WHERE Updatedon = to_date('22 Sep 2012 07:55 PM','DD Mon YYYY HH:MI AM');
when I run the same query with out where clause I am getting the records with that time or storing with to_date(to_char(sysdate, 'DD Mon YYYY HH:MI AM'),'DD Mon YYYY HH:MI AM') gives records.
Can someone explain the difference please?

    Hi,
    Welcome to the forum!
    user8765044 wrote:
What is the difference between storing sysdate or to_date(to_char(sysdate, 'DD Mon YYYY HH:MI AM'),'DD Mon YYYY HH:MI AM') in a date data type column?Remember that all DATEs include hours, minutes and seconds , as well as year, month and day.
    to_date(to_char(sysdate, 'DD Mon YYYY HH:MI AM'),'DD Mon YYYY HH:MI AM')is equivalent to
TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'MI')To see why, consider what
to_char(sysdate, 'DD Mon YYYY HH:MI AM'),does. It creates a string out of the year, month, day, hours and minutes of SYSDATE, but it ignores the seconds. If you convert that string into a DATE, the seconds will default to 00.
When I column value is set with sysdate the following query gives no records
    select *
    from Test
    WHERE Updatedon = to_date('22 Sep 2012 07:55 PM','DD Mon YYYY HH:MI AM');
when I run the same query with out where clause I am getting the records with that time or storing with to_date(to_char(sysdate, 'DD Mon YYYY HH:MI AM'),'DD Mon YYYY HH:MI AM') gives records.Whenever you get confusing results with DATEs, display the full DATE, including hours, minutes and seconds.
To change the default DATE format in your session, so that the hours, minutes and seconds appear automatically, use ALTER SESSION. For example:
    ALTER SESSION  SET NLS_DATE_FORMAT = 'DD-Mon-YYYY HH:MI:SS AM';

  • What are the differences between ESB 10g and OSB 10g

    Hi,
I'm newbie to OSB 10g. I have installed OSB 10g.
I came to know after Oracle acquired BEA, the ALSB is renamed as OSB.
I'm curious to know what are the differences between ESB and OSB.
If there are many differences, please post any links which provide the required information in detail.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Udaya

the 'old' esb has been renamed to mediator and is now only used as component in your sca application.
the two service buses can't really be compared since the osb (former alsb) has way more functionality in it.
Oracle gave it it's own place in his soa portfolio and the old esb can only be used als mediator in your sca application.
On top of your sca application you could use the OSB to complete your architecture design.
    the difference between both.
esb (now used as mediator) can only be used in your sca application
in here you will use it mostly for routing/transformation, and there is some functionality for assign/java callouts conditional routing
the osb is complete product with a lot of functionality in it. Everything you used the old 'esb' for can be done in the OSB and with a lot of extra's.
    routing/transformation/service call outs/java callouts/transport virtualization/security/and more and more
you should read the guides of the OSB to get an idea of everything it can do for you.

  • Difference Between N8 Made in finland and made by ...

1st of all, i do not believe this s... 2nd of all, most of my nokia set was made in china and i have no complain with that. but recently, i saw some serous post about made in finland and made by nokia set. so i bought both made in finland (no warranty) and made in china(1 year warranty, free bumper case). and surprisingly, i found some difference. please do not take it as personal, it maybe just in my case.
1st of all the box. made in finland set box is better than china one. you can tell if you compare both.
2nd, is the major one. there are two torx screw on the each lower side of n8. both screw side of china one dark gray color is fade, looks like someone tried to open it. though the seller opened the seal in front of me.
3rd, is the set build quality itself. china one volume + and - button are somehow lower than finland one. that means it is really hard to press.
4th, the lock button. if i look carefully, china one has some dot shaped bubble in the lock switch(i mean inside of the lock switch), means finishing was not so good. but it maybe perticularly rare.
5th. the menu light. china one has somehow a few lumens lower light power than the finland one. it took a lot of time for me to saw the difference. not so important.
    6. the charger, finland one has 3 pin ac-15e charger, where you can make the black pin bigger and smaller. where the china one has only 2 pin. i think it is not so much difference. maybe, in europe, 3 pin is more available than 2 pin. i am now checking the charging time on both handset(0% to full). but i do not expect any difference. but we will see later.
i am checking the earphone, hdmi and usb to go cable. but i do not think there will be any difference here, cause these are made in china in both box. what do you think? just coincedience in my case?

    kirithigan,
PC Suite is effectively discontinued, and recent phones like the N8 are not compatible with it, so you will need to install the newer Ovi Suite.
I'm a little concerned that you stat that you don't have a 12MP camera, all genuine Nokia N(s have the same camera. If your observation isn't just based on the camera settings being changed to a lower resolution, it might be wise to have your phone checked by a Nokia Care point just to make sure that you have been sold a genuine product.
Likewise to the comments made in the original post some time ago, genuine Nokia N8s are always made from identical componets, Nokia does not produce different versions in Finland and China - differences in things like the charger depend not on where a phone is manufactured but on where it is intended to be sold. Similarly, packaging is an issue related to the sales markets not the production origin.

  • How to create infopackage groups & Process chains & what is the difference

    Hi gurus,
please help me to create infopackage groups & Process chains & what is the difference.
    please explain any realtime scenerios.
when will we choose infopackage groups & process chains
and what is the difference betweeen these two.
    Thanks & Regards,
    BWcheta

    Cheta,
You can create the IPG with the selction of all infopackages in RSA1-Modelling Area to automate those loads automatically. That means it will trigger only those IP's which have been pooled up in that IGP...
Where as Process chain is also a automated process where you can have different process types which can be used during the load and after the load has been done.. For example in ODS once after the data has been loaded if you want to activate the data then in PC youo can insert the process type for that, but in case of IGP it will only execute your IP.
    Hope it helps...

  • Matrix to find differences between OIM11g R1 and R2

    Friends,
We are 50% completed developing OIM 11gR1. But now, R2 came out.
I would like to know the main differences between OIM 11gR1 and OIM 11gR2 so that I can convince my client to go for R2 rather than R1.
If there is any matrix which will show these differences, please let me let me know.
I would like to know the differences for the below.
    1) Business wise
    2) Technical development
    3) End user stand point

    1) Business wise
R2 is much more business friendly. It's structure is now simple and more secure than that of 11Gr1. Each and everything is request based. Shopping cart functionalities has beedn added. So manual provisioning is possible for multiple user for multiple resources at a single time.
    2) Technical development
Most of things are simpleified for development as well. Few differences could be, we don't have seperate process and object form, same form is references everywhere. Template level approvals are not there. All requests are routed through SOA. You need to have skills on SOA as well.
    3) End user stand point
We have two consoles now. End user can work on identity console where as admins can work on sysadmin console. Structure is seperated for both kind of users. Also UI is less heavy than that of 11Gr1.
You can ask Oracle for proper document on it.

    GP

  • Downloading iTunes (PLEASE HELP!)

I have tried downloading iTunes 6 in all different places in the apple web site but the same thing keeps happening. I'll click it then the box will turn white or the whole computer web page will turn white! I got got my iPod mini fixed and its set up for a mac so the guy at the Apple store said to download iTunes 6 and then the iPod software updater (if that makes any difference) PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi Chris,
Maybe you could try the following process:
    1) install the Microsoft tool "Windows Installer Clean Up" which you can find at the Microsoft website http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290301 (msicuu2.exe);
    2) run this program, clean up iTunes AND QuickTime (only these two) and restart the pc;
    3) install iTunes 6 (wherein QuickTime 7 is included) at http://www.apple.com/itunes/download (iTunesSetup.exe).
That's all and I think both programs will work now stable and perfectly together (and of course without any loss of earlier downloaded music).
    Kind regards,
    Eve
