Different content in EP 6.0 and CRM 4.0

Hi all,
we are currently implementing CRM 4.0 with EP 6.0. We introduced failure codes for products in complaints. The problem is the following:
In the WIN GUI, the introduced failure codes and failure categories are visible (both for analysis on header and on item level). In the portal, the failure codes only emerge on header level but not on item level.
Any ideas?

EP 5.0 is not part of Netweaver 2004. Why you want to install such an old version ?

    Once the pricing procedure ia assigned to sales order, it is automatically copied into Invoice through Copy controls. You never assign pricing procedure to billing document. it is automatically copied.

    The problem is that all services are bundled with your Apple ID ([email protected]):
    Your iCloud account (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes, Backups, etc.),
    also iTunes & App Store purchases (Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc.),
    and the iTunes Match services.
    (I guess that all your devices - yours and your wife's are connected to one iTunes library, right?)
    If you want that your wife gets her own iCloud account for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc. but gets also access to your media then you have two set up two things on her device:
    iCloud (Settings > iCloud) with her account (e.g. [email protected])
    and
    iTunes & App Stores (Settings > iTunes & App Stores) with your account (e.g. [email protected]).
    In this case she gets access to your library and could use the same iTunes Match account.

    It's easy to rename each unit.  When you connect your iPad and it syncs, the unit will appear on the left of the iTUnes screens just click on the unit there and you can rename it.  You should do this immediately so you can see which unit was backed up by it's name. You can sync as many decices as you want in one iTunes library and you can even share Apps as long as you're going to sync both from teh same iTunes account.  My household has 2 iPad 2s and we share our apps, and we also share downloaded books, magazines, music, etc.......

    It sounds like you have changed your Apple ID which you use with iTunes.  If so there are several places you may need to update it as outlined in this article.

    Hi,
    I have a scenario where I want to attach html files to products in CRM. I want these files to be available in the webshop. The file contains the product description using rich text such as bold, underline and bullet points.
    I have tried attaching an html file directly to the product in CRM but the html attributes are not rendered.
    Is this something I could do in Knowledge Management?

    I`m afraid you`ll need to do some more research. It all depends on you portal and CRM version. In CRM 4.0 and 5.0 (before 2004s) there is the ability to make a search in the portal using the SAF framework. This get together of functions allows you to search on whatever attribute you want making use of TREX.
    So you`ll need some development. Only for websales a limit amout of business objects can be searched. As of 2004s you have SES(search engine service) in CRM so that you can search on multiple business object. These search screens can be implemented in the portal without problems. As of ECC6 you have enterprise search. This means that these SES search modules are integrated in the standard KM search.
    I presume you store the html files in the CRM dms. You can quickly make a connection to this DMS using the KM webdav connector. This way you can index you html`s but if you want to connect to youmaterials you need SES or a SAF develepennt.
    This gave you enough material to continue you search. Sorry about that

    We are working  on ERMS with CRM 7.0.  As per the business requirement we need to use different content repositories for different markets for saving e-mail attachments.This is to give flexibility to markets on archiving. The differentiation factors for the markets is the recipient mail ID or routinng organizations.

    You can migrate a copy of the data to a new account, then delete the other person's data from each account.  To do this, on the phone that will be changing accounts, if you have any photos in photo stream that you want to keep on the phone, save these to your camera roll by opening the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tapping Edit, then tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share and tap Save to Camera Roll. If you have any synced notes that you want to keep on the phone, email these to yourself so you can create new notes in the new account.
    Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.  (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud.  The phone that will be keeping the account will not be effected by this.)  When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On My iPhone.  Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom).  Then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge.  This will upload the data to the new account.  You will create a new icloud email address with you turn Mail to On.
    Finally, to un-merge the data you will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the data you don't want (such as deleting your wife's data from your account, and vice versa).

    First of all you need to have your network infrastructure in terms of Security Zones, SAP has a standard recommendation that I have always use when possible for growing your landscape and exposing your Solutions to either internal or external users:

    Depending on your security needs you can have 2 portals 1 external facing portal and one internal facing portal, or just 1 portal installed in the Inner DMZ , there is no formula is what your Architects prefer and there are  pros and cons in any scenario.
    Now answering your question you do not need to expose both instances (CRM and Portal)  you only need to expose SAP Portal  because the  purpose of Portal is to provide a single point of access to your u201Cbackendu201D solutions in your case.   So Sap Web Dispatcher will be good choice or you can use a Hardware Load Balancing, if this is for external users then you need HA.

    I just bought an iPad Air 2 and want to use it with iTunes on my MacBook Pro.  No problem so far!  However, I want to continue to use my "old" iPad 2 for my wife and want to keep managing it as I always have using iTunes on my MacBook Pro.  The thing is that I want to make it possible for the two iPads to have quite different content to allow for the different needs and tastes of my wife and me.  How should I go about this?

    I took a look at it but it seems to be aimed solely at "media" on an iPad, i.e. movies, music, TV shows etc.  This is fine, but I also want to be able to deal with all the apps on each iPad too, so that when I connect each iPad to my MacBook through iTunes, the synching process works just like it always has for my first iPad (an IPad 2).  I don't mean that I want all the apps on both iPads to be the same (my wife doesn't need all the apps that are on the iPad 2 at present), but I do want to be able to add/remove/update media and apps on each iPad, and update the iOS on each iPad. 
    Basically, I guess, I want a situation whereby when I plug in either of the iPads, iTunes recognizes each as a separate device and has a totally separate "library" (backup?) of music, movies, TV shows, etc. and — most importantly — apps.  Is that possible?

    They are very, very different beasts.
    Firstly FAST Search for SharePoint is the old name for the product and is only relevant for SharePoint 2010 not 2013. It got merged into the standard SharePoint search for the 2013 release.
    SharePoint search is aimed at providing a Bing or Google like experience for your intranet content, as well as providing some nifty features that are purely SharePoint releated along the way. That means it can crawl SharePoint content, file shares,
    outlook mailboxes, internal and external websites and probably fifty other different things if you really tried. Whilst i'm not an expert on SQL full text search I believe it's intended to provide a search feature for content held within SQL databases
    and tables.
    Can you run SharePoint purely for Search? Yes, definitely.

    We are transferring via bdoc this information from ECC to CRM.
    Which bdoc types are used when transferring customers/contact persons? I believe it is BUPA_MAIN but am not too sure. How is the relationship between customer its contact person transferred? Is this done through BUPA_REL? I looked at the segment fields in SBDM but am not too sure how to understand the relationship...

    Thanks! With the initial load, how do I check what fields are being passed in the bdocs?
    I tried to look for customer_main, customer_rel in SBDM  and couldn't find it. Instead I used BUPA_MAIN and found some segments but couldn't find all the data that was being transferred (e.g. customer name, address, etc...) Where do I find all the fields contained in the bdoc?
    I see them in SMW01 when I view the bdoc contents but can not find the actual structure (data fields) that are being brought in from ECC.

    Copy everything from the old computer or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.

    You can use transaction SDIMA for checking if data between crm and erp are synchronized. You can either run a Header comparison or Detailed comparison of the data. It is simple and easy to use.     Or you can use report CRM_ODE_CHECK_DOC in CRM system to compare sales Documents between R/3 and CRM per transaction type/sales organization or even the transaction number. Also has got options to check transactions Not equal in CRM and R/3.
