Differents mandants in one system

Hi experts,
I'm trying to send messages from one R3 (WAS 6.2) system to another WAS 6.4 system, I've created two mandants on this last system (100,300)
When I send one message to mandant 100 everythings is ok but when I send this message changing the mandant of the communication channel in ID I get this error on XI sxmb_moni -> 'SLD_NO_OWN_BS'...
Also when I send a message to 100 I can see the same message in 300, are sxmb messages cross client?? Is it possible to do what I'm trying?? I think so but I can´t..
In SLD I have two clients (100,300) for this system and I have checked ID Adapter-Specific Parameters (Logical System in blank, R3 system my system and client 300)...
Can anybody help me????
Thanks and regards.

Hi
Check the integration engine configuration in your target system. go to sxmb_adm transaction and integration engine configuration > Specific Configuration.
There you need to create two entrys, create a new one type engine_type and define value "LOC" (application System) and the other type only IS_URL and save.
Check also SICF, there you need to create an http engine subelement for all mandants you have.
See also RFC connections in sm59. For SLD connections you need (LCRSAPRFC, SAPSLDAPI) See doc "How to set up a web-service related scenario with sap XI", there you will find the configuration of RFC connections.
Hope it helps,
Regards,
Ricardo.

  • EP 6.0 and BW in one system

    Hello everyone,
We currently run EP 6.0 SP2 and BW 3.1 on separate systems and are looking at upgrading to EP 6.0 SP11 and BW 3.5.  We have a Netweaver sandbox system setup with both running in one system and I was thinking we could consolidate these into one productive system and possibly save some hardware along the way.  It seems with proper sizing it would be possible to do this.  Does anyone have any experience with running these together productively or is anyoneelse thinking of going that route?
    Regards,
    Stephen

Your biggest consideration is regarding the UME. When you run combined ABAP/JAVA stacks then the UME for Java must be in the ABAP stack - so all your EP users will be managed with SU01. Certain user management functions are not fully available in the EP user mgmnt iViews (meaning you will need to use ABAP transactions for some UM activities), this is discussed in both Web AS and EP release restrictions note.
From a performance perspective you won't find much difference between running them seperately (i.e. not in a combined stack) but on the same host vs. running them together in the same instance.

  • SAP IS-Auto & SAP IS-Utilites in one system

    Hi,
This is with reference to the thread link give below.
    [Combining different IS solutions on one system;
Is it possible to activate SAP IS-Auto and SAP IS-Utilities in one System.
Also if possible please clarify whether SAP IS-Auto and SAP IS-Utilities  are considered an enterprise extension or an enterprise add-on
    With thanks & regards,
    Vinodh

    Thanks Bill !
As per the thread,  Difference between enterprise extension and enterprise add-on  SAP Auto is an add-on.
Since SAP ISU is an extension and SAP Auto is an add-on and as they don't share FICA, can we say that both SAP ISU and SAP Auto can be activated in the same system?
    Thanks & regards,

  • What is their difference betwwen  Sun ONE Application Server  and J2EE serv

Sun ONE Application Server is Sun implementation of J2EE server.
But it seems even no Sun ONE Application Server, use J2EE SDK command
    j2ee -verbose
we still can launch an Application Server that support EJB, JSP....
what is their difference betwwen Sun ONE Application Server and J2EE server provided by J2EE SDK ?
    Thanks,

Sun ONE generally refers to the Sun ONE Application Server version 7.x. This is a J2EE 1.3 compliant application server from Sun. Sun also released a Reference Implementation version (RI) as a requirement of the J2ee 1.3 spec. This is the J2EE server you are refering too. The Sun ONE Application Server 7 is a more robust production ready App Server.
Going forward, Sun combined the 2 seperate groups to include just 1 release. The J2EE 1.4 Reference Implementation is the Sun Java System Application Server Platform Edition version 8. SJS AS 8 PE is both free and production ready. Other version will include High Availability, Managing and Monitoring features.

  • Deploy from one system to the next

I have built an intranet application in HTMLDB for a client, and they are asking me for an easy way to deploy the applcation from one system to the next, say from develop to test and then from test to production.
Their wish is to do this with the push of one button, now I know that that is quite hard to realize, but I'd like to know how you people do that. Right now all i can think of is remember what you changed, export it and import it into the new application, but that's quite a hassle.
I found the export script in the utilities, but I haven't look at it closely enough to be able to reverse that process, is that the way it should be done?
    Wendy

I can't believe that we are at version 2.0 now and
that there is no decent solution to export and import
what we made as a whole instead of all these separate
    things.Sad, but true.
I have to explain to my customers who want to be able
to work with HTMLDB that when they want to deploy an
application from one environment to the next they
    have to:
    - export an application
    - export the css files
    - export the images
    - download the static files (because they can be
    exported but not imported(!) )
    - create a ddl of the schema
    - export csv files from the data in the tablesSounds like an opportunity to write a new utility. ;>)
and then import it all one by one in the new
    environment
and then hope they didn't forget anything and have to
debug to find the differences between environments.
Am I the only one that is running into this problem? No. Anyone that's developing and deploying production apps is in the same boat. Obviously, there are varying tolerances and circumstances that make this more or less of a pain for each of us.
I am solely talking about the stuff in the database
now, not the files on the filesystem.....If it's all in the database (which we know it is) then you can certainly bundle all of those steps into a nice little package (pun intended). Let us know how it comes out!

  • Time difference between the Identity system and Access System: OAM

I was installing OAM. Performed the below steps.
    -installed identity server
    -installed webpass
    -setup of identity system console
    -installed policy manager
    -setup of access system console
The above steps were successfull. Then when i was logging into Access system console, i am getting the below error:
Error:there was a problem obtaining the userid. One possible reason for this is a time difference between the Identity system and Access systems (Policy Manager and Access system console).+
The Identity Server, WebPass and Policy Manager are installed on the same machine.
    Userdata repository: OVD 10.1.4.3
Policy and Config Data Repository: OID 11.1.1.3
    OAM: 10.1.4.3
    Windows2008 - 64bit
Found document in metalink similar to this issue. suggested to change ldapmaxofreties. but didn't help.
Any idea on this error. Please Advise.
    Thanks in advance.

    Try this::
Check Time Difference Between Identity and Access Manager Systems
Check the logfile in the Access Manager install directory. The default location is <$AMinstall_dir>/access/oblix/logs/oblogfile.
If the file exists and it contains following line "skew = slack = " that means the Identity and Access Manager Web Servers are on different machines and have not synchronized time within a minute.
Either synchronize times between the two machines within a minute's accuracy or you can increase the slack by modifying these two files: <$AMinstall_dir>/access/oblix/apps/common/bin/oblixbaseparams.lst: loginslack: <$IMinstall_dir>/identity/oblix/apps/common/bin/oblixbaseparams.xml: loginslack: where numofseconds is more than skew found in the oblogfile.
For example, if you have following line in oblogfile "skew = 121 slack = 60", set numofseconds in the two parameter files to 130. After doing this, Stop the Identity Manager Web Server. Then stop the Identity Server. Start the Identity Server.
Then start the Identity Manager Web Server. Start a new browser session and see if you get the same error.

  • Difference between SYS and SYSTEM user

    Hi,
Well, one of my colleagues have asked me the difference between SYS and SYSTEM user .. Normally these are the users which will be under the monitoring of the DBA .. So, how could I know the difference between these two users ..
    Please assist me
    Regards

SYS is the owner of the database and the owner of the data dictionary.
The objects belonging to SYS cannot be exported. But SYS has the SYSDBA privilege which SYSTEM doesn't.
SYSTEM is a privileged administration user, and typically owns Oracle provided tables other than the dictionary.
SYSDBA is not a role, it is a privilege. You'll find it in system_privilege_map, not in dba_roles.

  • Two System Upgrade vs One System Upgrade  (12.1.0.1.0 - 12.1.0.2.0)

    Hi ppl
I have installed Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c Release 12.1.0.1.0 and i want to upgrade to 12.1.0.2
When i run runInstaller i choose "upgrade an existing Enterprise Manager System" but the only option available is "Two System Upgrade" "One System Upgrade" is not available.
It's ok to run this instead of "one system" ?
What is the difference ? and Why One sysetm is not available
    Note
both EM 12.1.0.1.0 and DB 11.2.0.2 are installed in the same VM

    Hi ,
If you are upgrading from em 12.1.0.1 to 12.1.0.2 we just have 1-system upgarde option avaliable. The installer will show you both the options but later down the 1 screen it will throw a warning to go back and select 1-system upgrade option
If you are upgarding from 10205/11 to 12.1.0.2 you have 1-system adn 2-system upgarde option.

  • Can I use my creative cloud products on more them one system at a time (Mac and PC)

Can I use my creative cloud products on more them one system at a time (Mac and PC)
I want to use the premiere on my Mac and some times on my PC.
Can  I use it on other operating systems with one membership or do I have to purchase an other membership for my other system.   I am only working on one system or the other at one time.
    Thx

    http://www.adobe.com/au/products/creativecloud/faq.html
Are there any unique benefits that come with my paid membership?
Yes, as a member of Creative Cloud, you get many benefits that you do not get when you purchase a traditional shrinkwrapped product:
Access to both the Mac OS and Windows® versions of the desktop applications and the ability to install them on your primary computer and one backup computer. So, if you have a Mac at home and a PC at work, you can install your applications on both as long as they are not running at the same time. • How to do a FTP from one system to another

    Hi,
I have a program which creates a file from the master data in one system (Logistics), and I have another program in   another system (HR) which writes the contents from this file to a custom table.
I want to the avoid manual movement of the file among the systems. One option would be to create a common location on the file system which is accessible from both these systems.
But, could someone help me on doing a FTP of this file to HR system.

  • Difference between the Logical System n Client

    Hi Guys,
i need a some information plz help me.
what r the differences between the logical system n the client.
plz give me the detail explanation
    appreciated with points
    regards
    kk

    Hi there,
'logical system' is used to identify an individual client in a system, for ALE
communication between SAP systems. That's why you see a field for 'logical
system' in the client master data in SCC4 (table T000).
Client can be defined as commercial, organizational, and technical terms, a self-contained unit in an SAP system with separate master records and its own set of tables.
    Hope it helps

  • Mulltiple Rule Sets in GRC 10.0 for one System

    Hi All,
We do have 2 different companies working on one system and by that 2 different rule sets that are applicable.
Due to that we are facing different problems we don't know how to solve yet but lets start with the first one dealing with the rule set that should be used in the access request.
We want to determin which rule set should be used over the requested role (e.g. if role name contains 0001 use rule set 0001, if role name contains 0002 use rule set 0002).
We have alerady tried several different senarios in BRF+ without success.
Does anybody have a solution or at least an idea for this topic?
Thank you all very much in advance!
    Eva

    Hi Ashish ,
Thanks for your time . Let me explain you my requirement and would really appreciate if you would have some inputs here which would help me to design this .
The actual client requirement is to design a CUP Workflow and If there are SOD issues identified, the workflow will need to go to a central team for them to address each issue. If this group decides to apply mitigating controls to the issues, the workflow must then go to the compliance group for them to review for appropriateness. Requirement is do a SoD analysis for every role change/add request , so that this group takes the appropriate action based on the SoD Analysis . For all my CUP request raised , i want system to do a SoD analysis and let this group know whenever there is a SoD found or just end the workflow if there is no risk.
I am aware of the Risk analysis process for GRC 10.0 , however i want it to happen as a part of this work flow requirement.
The requirement is to configure the access request work flow so that the end goal of work flow is just facilitation of an SOD review.  I hope i was able to explain my requirement . Thanks again for your help.
Your valuable guidance would be really appreciated.

  • ABAP program developed in one system will it run in another system.

    Hi All,
I have a very important query.
I know that SAP 4.7, BW 3.1 and SAP CRM 4.0 have same kenel release SAP Basis 620.(please correct me if I am wrong)
If Kernel in these systems are same, will an ABAP program developed in one system (say SAP 4.7) also work in another system (say CRM 4) with same kernel.
    This is very important me.
    Please help.
    With Regards
    Amit

    Hi Amit,
    1. If we transport a program from R/3
       to BW or CRM,
       It will work inside BW,CRM
Bcos the basis/abap layer is always there in such systems.
    2. However, if the program uses some tables/FMs etc,
which are not there in the Bw/Crm,
then it may give error. thats all.
    Regards,
    Amit m.
