Difficulty to download anything, or connection problem
I cannot even download Skype, it claims will take 13 hours and the time is growing. I think this is OS issue, because I can easily do this on Windows on fusion on the same machine.
You didn't really provide any info about your problem.
What program are you trying to use to download? (Safari, Speed Download, Camino, etc.)
What other downloads besides Skype have had issues?
What EXACTLY happens when you try to download? "The time is growing" is not very clear.
Without a complete description, unfortunately there isn't much we can do.

Hello everyone,
I tried searching everywhere for the solution but did not find one nor the explanation. I updated my N95 to the most current available firmware version (20.0.0.15 or alike) and about a day ago I downloaded and installed N-Gage app, but the problem is that although the only visible access point in connection manager is my WiFi hotspot N-Gage still uses a phantom access point "O2 MMS" to download games. And the thing is that I cannot find a way to delete this phantom access point or to force N-Gage to use just a WiFi access point. And, in N-Gage connection settings I have set just a WiFi access point both as a primary and as a secondary access point, but when I try to download anything it connects using the "O2 MMS" access point which cannot be deleted because it is not visible. I'd be grateful if anyone could provide the solution or some advice.please help me with my problem. everytime i recieve message, it automatically reply with mms. i didn't do anything with my settings, i just register to 211 to activate my mms, after i register the problem start. anyone who can help me with my problem? your help is highly appreciated.

My iPod touch 4th gen. Keeps giving me the error message "cannot connect to the app store when I sign in. I can open the app store and browse it but I can't download anything. I have full signal strength with my wi-fi and safari is working perfect. I turned it off and restarted it 3 times now. I have an iPad 2 and the app store works flawlessly with it. What is going on?
Same here on my lpad2. Can access the web just fine from browsers but cannot install new apps or updates in appl store. Seeing a few others reporting same issue tonight so likely an apple server issue and staff will notice it in network monitors and fix it...sometime this weekend.

Steve Jobs obviously was "the man" because every update or install now gives me problems... i can no longer download anything to my iphone.. giving me errors of "cannot install at this time" and i get an error installing itunes on my other laptop... wth is going on!??!
ok so the download problem with my iphone.. what could be the cause of that? ive restarted and deleted the "undownloaded app" over 10 times already. and restarted the iphone 10 times... next thing i know i cant install itunes on my laptop.... geez man..
obviously there is a fix which someone will help... but why should i have to go through all that crap to install a so called uncomplicated software... when you think about it this really shouldnt even be an issue.
normally if the thing dosent work. normally with most programs you just uninstall the uncompleted software and just reinstall and everything is usually good to go.. help!ive never had any problems with ap[ple products in the past... this is a first and a stupid problem if you ask me

Is your device recognized by your computer? If yes, copy the pictures and videos as shown in this article:
Copying personal photos and videos from iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your computer
If it is not recognized, try this first: iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
Disable autosync in iTunes, right click on it in the device list and choose "transfer purchases" to copy apps and other media bought in iTunes to your new library.
Do the same again and choose "backup", to create a manual backup without syncing.
Since your device will be erased due to the new iTunes library during the first sync, you can use this backup afterwards to restore your settings and data.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer before you start, to be able to merge calendars and contacts. -
So I have a problem with iTunes not letting me download anything without first responding to some security questions which I don't remember setting up, how can fix it? Oh, and it won't let me reset the questions either!

I have contacted EA about this and can find no help. I had this Scrabble on my iPad2 and began to have connection problems, it would lock in the "connecting" position. This is not the first time Scrabble has had problems with interface. Typically customers delete the Ap then download it again to reinstall it. During the process you sign in and approve the purchase KNOWING that another window will open saying that you have previously purchased it and that there is no charge. So what happened this time? It will not connect and all of my saved and current games are wiped out. I want my money back, this game interface is pretty junk and operates like some ancient DOS program,,bug,bug,buggy. I want my money back.

Your MacBook is compatible with Mac OS X 10.6.8, which is the minimum required to install the current version of iTunes and sync devices running iOS 7. It doesn't need to be compatible with Lion, Mountain Lion, or Mavericks.

I understand that your App Store does not show your app updates. Please follow the steps below to help resolve the issue.
1. Close All Apps on iPad: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
2. Sign out of iTunes & App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap AppleID > Sign out
3. Reset All Settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
4. Reboot iPad
5. Sign back into iTunes and App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Sign In with AppleID

Hook it up to your computer and open itunes. try to download hte apps via your computer. Every time you update hte software you have to reagree to the itunes terms of service. Sometimes it's hard to get it to come up on the device, but is easier on a computer.
