Digital o/p from 6221

I hv LV 8.0 acedamic kit along with PCI-6221 (68 pin).
using the Daqmx i generated a task that gives out a digital pulse o/p.
I hv attched my task. this will trigger myinstrument.
is thr any way i can avoid pull down the tsk menu in front panel and when ever i run the vi that particular task is taken.
is thr any way by which i can specify the no of pulses , high and low time , possibly time be feeded from front pannel rather than going to Edit NI-DAQmx task.
thanks and waiting for the help.

Hello,
I am having a bit of trouble understanding your description of your application.  Please correct me if I am wrong: you would like to generate a pulse train of a specific frequency with N pulses.  You then would like to wait a specific amount of time before regenerating this same pulse train.  This same pattern is repeated as many times as the user specifies.
If this is indeed your goal, I would recommend a different implementation than the one you have attached here.  This program uses software timing rather than hardware timing.  Although software timing should be fast enough for your application, it is not deterministic and thus is not guaranteed to be accurate.  If you do not need determinism in your application and prefer to use software timing, you will need to change this VI so that the time delay VI occurs at the correct sequence in your code.  This could be done, for example, with a sequence structure.  Since the time delay VI and your DAQ tasks are totally independent, right now there is no way to know whether the time delay will execute before or after the pulse output on any given loop iteration.
I would strongly recommend that you set up a retriggerable pulse train generation rather than using software timing.  For an example of how to generate a retriggerable finite pulse train, see the LabVIEW example entitled Gen Dig Pulse Train-Finite-Retriggerable.vi found in the Example Finder under Hardware Input and Output >> DAQmx >> Generating Digital Pulses.  This example would have to be modified slightly for your application.  Rather than using a PFI line to retrigger the pulse train, you could use your multifunction DAQ device's analog sample clock for the trigger source.  If you aren't sure how to do this and would like a more detailed explanation then please let me know.
I know this is a lot of information so I hope I haven't confused you.  Let me know if you have any questions!

    Hi
i am trying to send my raw photos back to canon digital photo professional from photoshop elemnts 10 organizer can someone help me with this please.

Well, your photos aren't "in" in the organizer, so you can just point DPP at the folders where they reside, or you could set DPP as your external editor for the organizer, if you prefer that. Organizer>Preferences>Use a Supplementarty Editing Application.

  • Can you stitch digital TIFFs taken from all sides of the object into a 3D image in CS-6

Can you stitch digital TIFFs taken from all sides of the object into a 3d image in CS-6

It depends on the object. The mesh must have surfaces (texture names) for each side of that object. Then an image can be applied to each side.
Photoshop currently lacks a way to select a side and give it a name.
You may want to try a program like blender to assign surfaces to a mesh. It is a very robust and daunting program, but its free and if you have the time maybe worth your while to learn it.

  • HT1539 Can't restore my digital DVD copies from iTunes or from DVD

I downloaded the digital copy DVDs to my computer.  About a year later the hard drive crashed and I lost all my data.
After replacing the hard drive, I was able to re-download all the iTunes purchases except I could not restore my digital DVD copies from iTunes.  When I try to copy again from the DVD, it reads "this code has already been used.  codes can only be used once."  Even though I am logged in with my Apple ID, which should be linked to the code that was used and I am on an authorized computer.
It seems I should be able to restore the digital copies to my computer even though they are single-use codes...

You are not attempting to restore a digital copy. You are attempting to redownload the digital copy.
Did you make a backup of this file along with the backup of all other important files on your computer?

  • X-Fi Titanium supports Digital DIN connector from DTT35

    Hi,
I'm looking for a new soundcard, and preferably one that works with my existing DTT3500 5. speakerset, which only has digital din, and no analogue inputs.
    - Does the new X-Fi Titanium cards work with a Digital DIN connector from my DTT3500 speaker set?
    - And if it does, does it carry 5. over Digital DIN or is it crippled to 2.
    regards,
    MrSnake

    > Hi, I need the same information.
I have a new PC, and I would like to buy a new Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium card.
But it is necessary that I'm able to connect the sound card to the DTT3500 speaker via Digital DIN cable (to have always 5. sound).
    Someone could confirm this?
    Thanks

  • Is there a pure digital signal path from Game to Receiver (using XiFi and DD

    Hi Everybody,
when using Dolby Digital Li've on one of the later XiFi cards: Am I fortified against electrical interferance within my computer? That is, is any of the analogous part of the soundcard still working?
I'd like to use the card mainly for games. It will be connected to a receiver via digital output. Therefore, everything up to the receiver could be digital: Game sound (Multiple spatial sound sources), sound processing in the card (resulting in 2-8 digital channels), encoding into a dolby digital stream (via DDL processor), transfer to receiver. Only there, qualitity digital/analog transformers start to work and the analogous signals are well protected from the electrical pollution within my PC.
Does ist actually work like that? Is part of the signal path on the card always analogous? I really fear the interferance of the electrical field within my PC with the sound signal. I could imagine that the DDL-Processor takes analogous signals as input. I did find nothing contrary on the dolby web site.
    Thanks for any help,
    Oli'ver

actually DDL is software encoder and yes if U use it the analogue section of the card will not be used at all the bit stream will be passedthrough to your receiver.

  • No digital out signal from Optical Out

I have a Pavilion p6250f PC with a ATI Radeon HD 4200 integrated graphics card.  I have it connected to my Onyo receiver through the DVI-D port to the HDMI port on my Onyo receiver.   I get a message saying I need to cable the sound separately, so I am using a optical cable from the PC to the receiver, but am unable to get any sound.
I have used the Realtek menu to select Digital Out.  Any ideas?

    Hi,
Where are you connecting your optical cable to on the PC as you have stated?
Try SPDIF output from the PC using a coaxial cable to a digital input on the receiver. Or, use an analog cable from the back of the PC to the receiver.  Then go back into the Control Panel ---Sound---> Playback Tab and set the default sound out device.

  • No digital video output from XVR-300 in Ultra-45

I am switching from solaris 10/x86 to sparc. I have a new Ultra-45 with XVR-300 graphics adapter. It's running Solaris 10u4. The system was ordered as a standard configuration from the catalog.
The XVR-300 graphics adapter currently produces no digital output. My Sun A1240P0 24" monitor reports no signal on the DVI input. That is, there is no digital output at power on (boot ROM), during Solaris boot (terminal), nor after Solaris finishes booting (X).
The graphics adaptor uses a connector with two video outputs, and comes with a splitter cable with two DVI output connectors. I get no video output on either. The DVI cable I am using is the one that works when connected to the graphics adaptor on the old system.
I added a VGA adapter plug to connector 1 of the splitter cable, and was able to get an analog signal to drive the display via the VGA input connector.
The manuals for the Ultra-45 and for the XVR-300 make no mention of analog vs digital output. They both just say to connect the adapter to the monitor.
Since I can get analog output from the SVR-300, the card is basically working. The DVI cable and the monitor's DVI input work with another system. The only variables are the digital output from the XVR-300 and the splitter cable. (The splitter cable's analog signals work.)
How can I activate digital output and make it the default?

  • Digital Audio Noise from the Headphone Jack

I have been searching for a while to see if anyone else has this problem.
I have random faint digital noise (bleeps, bloops, and whirls) from my headphone jack. This happens regardless of application. I can get it going good by just tossing the volume bar back and forth on the sound pref panel.
I have considerably less of this from the line out but still detectable noise.
I have disconnected everything non essential from the Mac Pro and my power outlet are reduced to a minimum. (monitor and Mac)
I have tried numerous headphones including Etymotic ER•6 and Sony MDR-7505.
This has always been present in 10.4.7 and 10.4.8. Like I said, its faint in volume - but it gets annoying!
I have read the following below and believe these do not apply to me because this is not an external powered device.

I found out today what is causing the noise on my Mac Pro!
Our next door neighbor has a really high power HAM radio that I am picking up static and transmissions from. I thought I was going insane when I heard weird voices coming out via my headphones. I know it is our neighbor because I heard him relay his name and location. Had to get my wife to listen to prove I was not going crazy.
Here is the weird thing. I do not have AirPort or BlueTooth on the MacPro...so I cannot figure out how the transmission is permeating the Mac. Could it be a shielding issue on some internal component?
    Thanks!

  • Digital audio out from azalia chipset

    Hallo everybody.
I hope you could help me in finding a solution.
I just purchased a Fujitsu-siemens pc with the new M7058 MSI board (shuold be 915P) and my problem is I can't just get the "raw" digital signal out of the back panel S/PDIF out to be decoded fropm my external audio decoder.
In the driver panel "C media hq driver" are mentioned but in the control panel enabling the S/PDIF out just results in a normal PCM 2.0 out and my external receiver doesn't recognize it as a DD or DTS.
I downloaded the C media azalia drivers from msi site but I can't fulfil the installation sice after mentioning "installing bus drivers" the panel gives to me a notice saying that "the device doesn't exist or has been removed manually" (!!).
Thanks in advance for any related tip or hint

  • Digital Audio out from Airport's USB?

I don't yet have the means to try it out, so does anyone know if this can be done? I'm getting active monitors with an onboard dac, but only usb input. The manufacturer says the speakers can get digital audio from a Mac mini usb, but is it a different story with the APX?

Why do you think it wouldn't, by the way? Printers
are "plug & play" so if the monitors are, why
wouldn't the system preferences offer the same
possibility as a usb port on the mac itself. They
have a Mac mini feeding digital audio via usb just
    fine... they say.

  • How do I transfer Digital Audio Tapes from Panasonic SV3700 deck (w/RCA coaxial digital output) to my 2008 MacBook Pro (10.5.8)?

Subject line pretty much says it all.  I have many DATs recorded before the era of putting everything onto a drive.  I'd like to transfer (digitally) these tapes to my MacBook Pro (2008, 10.5.8).  My DAT deck is a Panasonic SV3700 which only has the RCA digital coaxial cable outputs.  What do I need to buy (cable, converter, software???) to allow the SV3700 to transfer my files to my computer.  I know I could use the analog input but that kind of defeats the purpose of going through the pain in the neck of recording those concerts digitally.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I know this problem exists for many old tapers out there, but I've yet to see a solution posted on any

In THEORY, you need a converter like this:
    http://www.gefen.com/kvm/dproduct.jsp?prod_id=9137
to convert coaxial SPDIF to TOSLINK optical. The data stream is the same, it is just changed from electrical to optical.
Then you need an optical TOSLINK to optical miniplug cable like this:
    http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10229&cs_id=1022902 &p_id=1557&seq=1&format=2
Then you need recording software (Garageband would work), and to make several settings in system prefs and the app prefs, and Audio-MIDI.app. A decent 2 channel basic audio editor is SoundStudio 4, but there are many.
I haven't tried the Gefen device, since I have other products that do this function. I have also heard that the Panasonics sometimes seem to have a non-standard data stream that just doesn't play nice with some devices. Be sure to have a money back guarantee.
