Digital signature stopped working in Acrobat Pro 9

My digital id functionality in signing PDFs has suddenly stopped working. I've tried using it with multiple documents and none are working. I tried to create a new digital id, but that doesn't work either. Here's the error message I'm getting: (please magnify if necessary)...

Thank you but if I put it back into LiveCycle everything that has been inputted by the recipient is lost. Do you know if there is a setting in LiveCycle that allows hyperlinks to be entered in to the text area by the recipient of the form?

Digital signature has been working properly for years, but now none of my pdfs will allow my digital signature. Here is the error message I get, but I can't make sense of it. Is the application corrupted? Magnify the screen shot below if necessary.

Digital Signature stopped working

Have used Acrobat digital signature infrequently for several years. Recently stopped working. Attempted on several different docs with same result. Goes thru steps of placement and digital signature appears. However, nothing happens after hitting the sign button. The signature does not appear in the doc nor in the saved doc. Tried several things suggested on line. Nada. Suggestions? Acrobat 9.5.5 OSX 10.8.1

If the user is not using Adobe Reader, but some other PDF viewer that doesn't support digital signature fields, you will see this sort of thing. The Preview application on the Mac, with is the default PDF viewer out-of-the-box, is notorious for this (as well as corrupting PDF forms). Even if someone has Adobe Reader installed, it may not be what they're using to view your form. I imagine a good precentage of your users will be using Macs given your setting, so you'll have to address this through user education.
Also, you mentioned you will be receiving more than 500 returned forms. This would be a violation of the Acrobat License Agreement, which limits the number of returned forms that you can use to no more than 500 if you distribute an enabled document to more than 500 recipients. But there's a good chance that if you contact Adobe they will say it's OK regardless. Just try to get it in writing...

PProHeadless.exe has stopped working for Premiere Pro CS6

I have had no problems with it until today.
The video I was trying to produce was about 31 minutes long.
I have had this PC less than a year and have never had PProHeadless.exe stop working for Premiere Pro CS6.
what causes this to happen, has the last batch of updates caused this?
PC specs:
Windows 7 64bit fully updated
MoBo Asus P6X58E-WS
i7 quad core 950
24 gigs of Ram
10,000 rpm's Hard Drives
very few things installed on this PC to avoid application conflicts, and I had no other applications running.

Digital signature for work order processing

Hi,
Have anybody implemented digital signature for work order processing? Can you throw some lights, what are the steps involved?
Requirement is when work order reach certain status, like on order release, on partial confirmation, on final confirmation or on Technical completion, digital signature needs to be captured. This is a regulatory requirement.
I read some threads that explains digital signature can be assigned to plant and order type combination, but i couldn't find this specifc config step, we are using ECC 6.0. Is anything needs to be activated before I can see these configuration steps.
With ABAP help I was able link digital signature tool to work order, but was wondering if this can be achieved through configuration as mentioned in some of the threads.
Also I have another requirement, like if you are doing a mass TECO using IW38 transaction, capture digital signature once and the same should be applied for all the selected work orders. Otherwise you have to enter your password as many time as the number of work order selected.

Hyperlinks have stopped working in Acrobat 9 pro

Hi all,
I have been using acrobat 9 pro for quite some time now, in conjunction with Microsoft Office 2007, specifically Excel 2007.
I have been using Excel 2007 to create my reports which have several worksheets. The first worksheet is a simple cover page and the second a worksheet with data relating to the next "x" amount of worksheets.
On this second worksheet, I have included several hyperlinks which point to the other "x" worksheets within the workbook as a whole. The other worksheets then have a hyperlink which takes them back to the data (second) worksheet. Sort of like a homepage pointing to locations, with a "home button" on each subsequent page.
Once the reports were finished, I then clicked the PDF maker button, and added "all worksheets" or "entire workbook" whichever took my fancy at the time to create the PDF. This hhas been working perfectly for over a year, however, last month this stopped working.
Previously when creating the PDF file, being a really boring nerd i decided to click the "show progress" button which showed every step of the conversion process from "performing post processing" to "scanning for hyperlinks" etc. Now when I click the "show progress" button, all that appears is "performing post processing," the scanning for hyperlinks has completely disappeared.
I have checked the settings, in case they had been changed accidentally, however, the "include links" checkbox is ticked. I have also tried creating several (well all) different formats of the Acrobat PDF from version 4 through to 8, all with the same results. The text that should be a hyperlink is blue and underlined, but has no link.
If i create a PDF/A format file, the hyperlinks are the same result (blue and underlined) however if you hover over the link text popps up with the address of where the link should point to in the document, eg. "Page 6 XYZ 59 542 NULL."
I imagine the "NULL" part has something to do with this feature not working.
My current version of Acrobat is 9.1.2 and I am wondering if the update from 9.0 is what has caused this, and if so, does anyone have a way of making the hyperlinks work.

The source of the problem (Excel internal Hyperlinks no longer convert to PDF file) has been FOUND...check for the installation of "Microsoft Excel 2007 Security Update (KB969682)". The Knowledge Base Article, dated June 9, 2009, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/969682 actually lists one of the two issues we started to notice at the end of June / early July. The recent Adobe Acrobat 9.1.2 update was more than likely just coincidentally released at about the same time as Microsoft's KB969682 security update for Excel 2007.
We uninstalled the "Microsoft Excel 2007 Security Update (KB969682)" update from our Windows XP workstations, and the Adobe PDFMaker Add-In 9.1.2 works fine now...no more distorted graphics and Excel Hyperlinks are now back into the PDF files!

Licensing has stopped working for Acrobat 9 Pro

When I install Acrobat 9 Pro on my new Macbook 10.7.4, I get the message "licensing for this product has stopped working" and it tells me to uninstall and reinstall. When I first purchased Acrobat 9 Pro and installed it on my old Macbook Air, I had the same problem but I was able to fix it with one of the solutions at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/error-licensing-stopped-mac-os.html.
However, none of these solutions work or make sense on my Mac version 10.7.4. I have already been on live chat with Adobe help twice and was unable to resolve the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated! (I also have CS5 Premium installed and it works fine).

I have been having the licensing issue with Windows 8. I have run the licensing repair tool every few weeks. It never "sticks". Acrobat will work fine for a few weeks, maybe a month, then the error comes back. Does anyone know of a permament fix. Thanks.

My distributed form has stopped working after Acrobat did an update the form no longer appears in my tracker.

I had a form that auto collected data through Adobe but it has stopped working after my Acrobat X Pro did an update.
The form no longer appears in the tracker. How can this be fixed? I am using Windows 7.
It would appear that since Adobe are going to be closing the Workspace area in January 2015 that when
Acrobat did an update the ability to connect to files in the Workspace has been removed.
Is there any way to reconnect the file back to the Tracker?
Has anyone else had the same problem?
Adobe don't seem interested in helping as this question has been posted for three days and yet no response.

First and foremost thing you can do it is that reset your Firefox and after that change it to safe mode.This may be happening due to venerable links getting downloaded.

Sticky notes in 11.0.11 ridiculously slow and place signature stopped working

I used to regularly use the sticky notes feature in Acrobatto review documents, and I also used to regularly use the Place Signature feature to "sign" documents. These features used to work absolutely fine. However, recently, they have stopped working. When I type text in a sticky note, it takes about 30 seconds to appear - making it completely impossible to work with. At the same time, the Place Signature feature has completely stopped working alltogether. Finally, I notice my laptop gets extremely hot, and battery life is about 1/4 of what it used to be. Yesterday, I removed Acrobat and installed a fresh copy downloaded from the Adobe website. This solved the signature problem for about 1 hour, but now it is not working again, and the sticky note feature is still unworkable. Can anyone help please.

Version is 11.0.10 on Windows 7 Professional
I have 186 GB free space. No issues with other applications.
Today, it was so bad it actually froze. So I cancelled the process in task manager. There appeared to be 2 AcroRd32.exe *32 processes running, and after I stopped them and started Acrobat again, it seems to be OK. Note that I had already re-booted my complete machine before doing this, so if something is calling up “double Acrobat”, it is doing it on start-up.

Signature stop working since Adobe ver 10

Form stop working since upgraded to Pro X (ver 10) in Adobe. Getting this message:
IntegriSign
This plug-in is intended for validating signatuers signed using earlier versions of Acrobat. To sign using this version of Acrobat use "IntegriSign to Acrobat 9.0 and later" handler
I have changed settings in Adobe Pro X to the above but still get the same message.
Do anyone know how to fix this?

Creating and using a digital signature - Not Working / Help Please?

I have Acrobat X Pro (10.1.11). I am trying to setup a digital signature that is either a scan of my own signature, or a digital version that looks like hand writing. I've gone through a number of help documents and I am still getting something different. What I get is a Printed Name with some text next to it (i.e. Digitally Signed by "my name" DN: cn="my name, o, ou, e-mail, etc.".
Anyone have any idea how I can start from scratch and create a digital signature that I can simply place on PDFs that looks like my siggy?

I believe you are confusing digital signature and digital signature appearance. You can create a custom appearance and use it in your signatures. Go to Edit->Preferences->Signatures->Creation & Appearances->More... In the Appearances section in the bottom portion of the dialog select "New" button. Configure Signature Appearance dialog comes up. In the Title field you enter the name of this appearance. In the Configure Text section of the dialog you check which values you want to have in the text part of the signature appearance (you can deselect them all). In the Configure Graphics section you can select one of the radio buttons. "Imported Graphics" allows you to browse to the file that contains your scanned signature (or your picture ). "Name" will place your name as it appears in your signing certificate.
Then when you sign a PDF in the "Sign" dialog click on the down arrow in the Appearance: section next to the displayed appearance name (out-of-the-box is says "Standard Text") and you'll get a drop-down list that contains the name of the appearance that you created. Select it and that will be the appearance of your digital signature. This same drop-down list contains "Create New Appearance..." item which when you select it allows you to create a new appearance in the same way as I described in the first paragraph.
After you select your appearance it will show up when you sign again.

All Music & Videos stop working on Macbook Pro

I've had my 15" Macbook Pro for 6 months now. If my Macbook has been on for a while, at some point all media randomly stops working; when Quicktime tries to open a file it opens it partially and freezes at the "loading movie" sign. If iTunes is already open before this problem occurs, it will work fine, but if I close iTunes & try to open it again it will crash and I'll have to force quit it. Videos and music in web browsers such as Firefox and Safari either won't work or causes the browsers to crash. Along with this programs like Photobooth crash. The only hint I've got to what's going on is that when I open After Effects after all this happens it freezes upon opening whilst "initialising Media Core," and Sibelius does the same whilst "Initialising Playback System"
So I'm guessing there's something wrong with my Macbook Pro's "media core"/"playback system".
The only way to sort this problem out is to log out & log back in again, but after a while the same thing happens and all media stops working. Having to close all my applications to log out and log back in again can get really annoying. This problem started about a month or so ago and I have no idea what triggered it or how to fix it.
I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this sort of behaviour with their Mac and know how to fix it?

I would try some basic repairs and see if that helps.
Try using Disk Utility to do a Disk Repair, as shown in this link, while booted up on your install disk.
You could have some directory corruption. Let us know what errors Disk Utility reports and if DU was able to repair them. Disk Utility's Disk Repair is not perfect and may not find or repair all directory issues. A stronger utility may be required to finish the job.
After that Repair Permissions.
No need to report Permissions errors....we all get them.

External monitor stopped working on Macbook Pro

I have a Macbook pro 15 with the vga adapter. I have been using it sucessfully for a month. Today it stopped working. I followed all of the suggestions online but have had no luck resolving this issue. The monitor works fine on my sony laptop but the Mac cannot see it. I have unplugged the adapter, shut down, turned on and plugged it back in as recommended. I tried a different monitor and i have simply restarted the machine with the adapter plugged in. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

Try doing a Parameter RAM reset - hold down command/option/p/r keys at start up and wait for three chimes before releasing the keys.
