Dinamic Item Profiles: Service rates in Billing Request

Hi gurus,
we have a process with a Billing Request created in DP90 referred to a Service Order.
The service rate can have two origins depending on the vendor: activity type or sales contract.
Any clue how to do this separations? so the proper price is taken?

    My problem is that I don´t know how to handle the Item usage : SEIN and SENI ??? Depending or what faktor are determined??? DPP Profil???

    I have created a Time and Material Project and when I am trying to Invoice the SO related to particular Project request getting below Error.

    In the time of Invoicing SO getting error.
    I have checked all the configuration but unable to sort out the problem.
    Please suggest me if I missed something or need to change the configuration.

    1. I have maintained Billing Relevance "C"
    2. Copy Control Setting is sound good.
    3. There is no billing block on SO.
    4. We have CndType line item :- EKO2 and Billing Type :- 02.
    Please let me know if any further setting is required.

    I dont have access to Central admin and i was not not able to enable USer profile service.

    According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to rate a list item using JQuery in SharePoint 2010.

  • Related resource billing. Separeted billing requests for each service order

    !!!!!! Dear Experts, help me!!!!
    The question's urgent!
    I need to bill collectively for my service orders, which means I need to combine several service orders into one single billing request (debit memo request) during RRB.
    I configured DIP profile, but DP95 creates individual billing requests separately for each service order.

    Hi !
    I hope you need to check it in copy control . Because there are some standard things which need to match for combine the invoice. like:-
    1:- Billing date,
    2:- Bill to party
    3:- payment terms,
    4:- Bill to party master data ( i.e agree to combine the invoice) etc.
    And aslo the copy control from the Order to Billing document in header does it allow you to combine or not.

  • How to create a billing request for service order that has serv contract?

    Dear Experts,
    Can you please help me?
    The scenario is, my client has service contracts with their customer but they want to charge customers not periorically but as and when they provide service (ad-hoc).
    So how to bill the customer in this case?
    In my testing if I have a service contract (order type = SC) then when I create service order, system automatically picks up standard order type SM01. (which is service order with contract.)
    And when I perform time confirmation and material consumption (goods issue), actual costs gets booked to the service order. However, using the service order number as referece, if I try to create a billing request in DP90, system create a blank billing request with no line items.
    So, could you please advice, how can I create a billing request for a service order, if I have a contract?

    Thank you very much for your reply. I appreciate your time and efforts.
    Ok, these are the steps how I have executed the process.
    - I have created a service contract for an equipment. In the service contract, I have maintained the service material in the line item, maintained price and assigned equipment in the technical objects.
    - I created service notification, which automatically picked up contract.
    - When I create service order, from notification screen, system automatically picked up correct order type SM01 (Service order with contract).
    - Then I planned operations and spare parts in the service order.
    - Checked settlement rule in the service order is SDI.
    - released and saved service order.
    - Using IW42, in SAP ECC6, you can perform  both time confirmation and material consumption using the same screen and also TECO service order. System issues message to say, goods issue have been posted.
    - when you check the document flow of service order, you can see operations posted, and also goods issue posted.
    - check cost tab to see actual costs. (if I want to settle costs from service order to service contract, I can do so w/o a problem in KO88)
    - Use DP90, enter service order number and create billing request. System takes to billing request screen but it is blank. No line items.
    - So, since there is a contract, in this case, am I meant to be creating the billing request from Service contract? instead of from Service order?

  • Service Contracts  with billing plan not updating debit memo request in ECC

    For service contracts with billing plan, we cancel the line items and set the user status at header to "cancelled" and also set the cancellation date (under Cancellation Tab) at the header as well as item level which delete all items in the “DMR” in ECC (which are not yet billed). When we do this, it works perfect for most of the time and in some cases DMR items are not updated in ECC and it is billing. When I checked in CRM, the billing plan items are updated based on the cancellation date.

  • CRM Leasing - BRI (Billing Request Item) net value is "0"

    In CRM Leasing, while quotation is created BRIu2019s (Billing Request Items) are generated. But these BRIu2019s are currently generated with net value u201CZerou201D. There are generated based on Cash Flow.
    Can anyone help me understand why the net value is zero in all the BRI's generated in Quotation?

    Is it necessary to have a revenue in service order to create a billing request (DP90)  ??
    Or
    Actual costs in service order is sufficient to create a billing request  ??

    Resource Related billing means billing request will be created based on the cost incurred to do Service order. DP90 will bring the actual cost from service order.
    Pricing procedure should be defined accordingly to bring actual cost.

    Hi Sonali,
    Billing request item (BRI)  are items to be billed that are generated from a billing plan using selected criteria such as general date information, start and end date, frequency, billing date and the billing creation date. Criteria are proposed here are proposed from the billing plan type. Billing request items also contain information on the settlement period and the amount for settlement.  Billing request items can be used to create several settlements for a contract item, for example at regular intervals dusting the contract validity period.
    Each BRI triggers a settlement after it has been released. (Exceptions here are billing request items with confirmation).
    Settlement times and the generation period are defined by date rules in Customizing and these values are proposed in the license contract.  You can change these values if necessary.

  • Error while creating billing request thr tcode DP91

    while creating a billing request through dp91 we are getting an error mesage : "Error during material determination for sales document item 40000067/000020". i have checked the material determination for the material, but there is no material determination maitained for the material, the material here is a service material, after creating a contract we are trying to create a billing request through DP91. this is where wer are getting the error message.

    It looks like the DIP Processor cannot determine a material.Go you your DIP Profile and check the Material Determination settings
    Also run TCode ODP2 to check the consistency of your DIP Profile and also chk Material Origin field was not checked in the Costing tab of the material master.
    Check above and revert back.

    Please read the real life SD - FICO scenario given below and if you think you have the solution, kindly state your suggestion. Would be much appreciated.

    Engineering Services Orders (Inter-company)
    Process Steps (As-is)
    1.Purchase Order is received in Co. A – via EDI, from Co. B
    2.Sales Order (services) is automatically generated in Co. A. It has item 10 as hours and item 20 as travel expenses in $ amount
    Sales accounting creates ‘settlement rule’ and ‘internal order’ number and advises the engineers who will provide the services
    3.Later on, engineers report actual hours for services rendered, by using CATS system This merely reports data in SAP system but does not make an FI posting
    They use the order number advised to them in step 2 to create an internal order
    4 Actual travel expenses are added by Payroll - as a direct posting to FI
    5. Periodic CATS batch job is carried out by relevant IT person, to settle costs to an ‘internal order’ (not to sales order). These costs are labor hours and travel expenses
    6. FICO personnel then do transaction K08G to settle internal order --> sales order
    7. (Manual Step) Sales Accounting then runs report KVBI to view and select data related to service orders The data is downloaded to an Excel worksheet and handed over to SD-Billing.
    8. (Manual step) The cost data in dollar figures is converted to hours by SD-Billing, dividing cost data with rate / hour given in the sales order condition record
    9. SD-Billing creates invoice. Since it is order-related invoice, it has open quantities coming in from the order. These are now manually over-written / replaced with the actual data from step 7 & 8. An invoice is thus, generated for each order individually.
    Process (To-be)
    To create an interim document (billing request?) to replace manual steps 7 and 8. This interim document needs to capture actual cost data form the system – and also show the remaining / open quantities from the sales order
    QUESTION: what is the best route to go?
    • Configure a Billing Request document (by modifying a standard Credit Memo Request / Debit Memo Request) or
    • Going via the route of resource-related billing?

         While creation of BIlling request via DP90 , system considers DIP Profile & pricing procedure and brings data /rates to billing procedure ..
    I am trying to understand the pricing procedure, i am using standard pricing procedure RVAA01 ->
    When i check the conditions Tab for a particular materials it has the below condition types :-
    1. EK01  
    ,PR00,MWST,DIFF,VPRS ..
    Anbody pls give idea on how these conditions types are determined ..??
    I have checked & found condition record only for PR00 & MWST .. i could not find condition record for VPRS Condition type but how is it determined ?

    EK01 comes from the actual cost on the service order
    PR00,MWST,DIFF,VPRS  from memory these are all condition records created via EK11

  • Service & spares not billed to customer scenario

    Dear friends,
    We have a scenario where the customer location wil be defined as functional locations.Now when the equipement has to be repaired the customer informs the cs department about the same.A service notification will be created in the system.
    Now the issue is how to map this process as the customer is neither billed for the service charges,spares replaced or rather the resources used(resource related billing). The service charges are collected at the begining as a contract for the whole year.
    If at all a service order is created with refrence to the service notification which involves a spares replacement:
    1)How the service orders will be created and wat all things the service order will have.
    2)delivery will be created on wat basis
    3)If at all a billing is done  how the cost will be settled.(Since in realtime the customer is never charged for service provided or spares or reources)
    Please suggest how to map this type of scenario

    This is SERVICE ORDER PROCESSING WITH SERVICE CONTREACT, and RESOURCE RELATED BILLING is optional.
    (A)SERVICE ORDER PROCESSING WITH SERVICE CONTREACT
    1. Create Service contract - VA41
        maintain price agreement condition type,
        go to EXTRA menu>>>> technical object, here u can speciefy your equipemt details.
    2. Create notification (IW51) & assign contract in notification
    3. Create service order(IW34) with refrance to privious notification, and
        maintain settlement rule as SDI & Settlement reciever is your service contract number&its items
    4. Confirmation of service order (IW41/IW42)
    5. Settlement of order(KO88)
        After this you can go your service order and see settle cost
       Also go in service cntract>>>Environment>>>cost report, see settle cost appearing in contract.
    6.And last settle this service contract(VA88).
    (B) RESOURCE RELATED BILLING(optional)
    1. follow above steps (1 TO 4)
    2. Create resource related billing (DP90)
        System will genrate billing request
    3. Create biing document(VF01) with refrance to billing request
        After this go in service contract, cost report and see billing value
    4. settle the service contract(VA88)
    5. Now settle the service order(KO88)
    After this go in service contract>>> cost report, and see settled cost
    Note : In this scenario revnue is come from billing and cost is come from service order, this all is place against service contract.
    treat revnue come from conract as advance recieved from customer for services, and when you crete resource related billing,clear this amount against contract value.
