Unable to Disable Delete row option in FBCJ tcode

Hello Sir/Madam,
I am giving authorizations to users, and I have given auth of FBCJ t-code to a user with create/generate and park activity codes, but I am surprised to see that delete row option is by default working in the tcode, which needs to be disabled or blocked or hidden. Kindly suggest if anything needs to be done in configuration, or from basis side. I havent given 06 i.e delete access to this user.

Please refer the below link and SAP notes which might help in solving the issue. If disabling the delete option does work with standard authorization, then please take help of your ABAPER's and check if the same can be disabled using user exits.

Disabling Delete in ME52N

Hello
I want to disable Delete function in ME52N transaction for several users. I put ME51N, ME52N and ME53N in one role via PFCG, disabled Delete activity in all authorization objects but I am still able to delete purchase reqs. If I remove Change activity from auth objs I cannot able to run ME52N.
Is there any way to disable Delete via role administration?

I recreated the problem in test enviroment. I put ME51N, ME52N and ME53N in one role and gave it to test user. Test user does not have any other authorizations than those three transactions. I removed `Delete` activity from that role but user is still able to delete. If I remove `Change` activity, user cannot use ME52N.
I do not what else can I do. How can I find that delete field in ME52N transaction and assign that to a authorization object? Or do I have to make an OSS message because `delete` activity is not working as intended.

Hi,
If you want to remove the add-ins of Office 2010 programs, you need to remove it from control panel.
For example, if you use Excel, please try to follow the link to delete the add-ins:

Disable (all) functions on the block diagram with right-click menu

Hello to everyone,
here is one more idea, which I'd like to propose.
As for me, it would be useful to have the following: when all components (functions, wires, subVIs, etc.) are selected on the block diagram (like, after ctrl+A), operator could do right-click, and in the menu would appear menu item "Disable everything". After it, all the code could be placed into Disable structure.
Of course, I can add Disable structure to block diagram manually, and cover whatever I want, but with right-click menu it would be much faster.
Also, it can be modified to disable only selected items - then each of them can be placed into separate Disable structure, and, for example, additionaly in the enabled case of Disable structure, corresponding wires will be connected. Sometimes it is needed for testing - just to disable couple functions, and test subVI. Or to disable subVI fully (it's faster, then disable place, where it is called. Especially, if subVI is used in many places).
It will not make debugging difficult, because anyway Disabled structures are used; such functionallity can just make life a little bit easier...

There is always the File->New... which opens up a new window. You can have your templates in that window by putting them somewhere (I don't remember where at the moment).

Disable the App Delete functionality

Hi,
does anyone know of a way to disable the Application delete functionality on the iPhone - or make it so it requires a passcode;
I tend to let my daughter to play with the phone for educational apps and movies and she has a tendancy to wander and delete apps (resulting a couple of times in data loss)
Anyone aware of a good way to cripple or restrict the App management ??

No, you cannot.
There are plenty of posts here about parents giving their kids the phone and it ending up badly - its your choice. But if the dribble or juice trips the moisture senors, you won't get any sympathy. Letting a child play with a $600 piece of sensitive electronics really isn't sensible but its your choice.
Buy her a cheap Touch on Ebay and play safe.

Enhancement in tcode - IW32

Hi ,
In my requirement ,for the Tcode - IW32 ( Change order), For the Particular order (eg - 30000000)
if the Basic fin (Date) is equal to current date the Sys.Status field should change automatically to TECO.
Now it was doing manually by click on Order->functions->Complete->Complete Technically.It has to be automated.
Is there is any Exit or the BAdi available?

I am not sure of what your requirement in clear, if you do not want to process the MOs if the finish date is todays current date then if the order is not released then you can set status NCMP Do Not execute .., you can find this in IW31/IW32 Order menu -->functions -->complete -->Do Not Execute ..., if the order is released then u can just set TECO on that ..
In the above user exit u can apply logic and to read and set system status u can use the below FMs ..
STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN[This is used to set or delete System Status]
STATUS_READ : This is used to read system status or user status

Disable Delete in MIR4

Dear All,
I have a requirement from my Team to deactivate delete option from MIR4 Transaction
I have created Transaction Variant for MIR4 and disabled the delete Option from Menu.
At the same time, I created Group Name for assigning the Users to this Group. And asigned some Users to activate the variant to those users only.
Now it is working fine in my Development system.
I moved it to QAS. In QAS there are so many roles having MIR4 transaction. Now I don't want to disturb(Add / Delete transactions) those roles,But want to assign some Users to the Group from SHD0, so that only those users can get the Trasanction Variant.
But when I am trying to assign the users to the group, it is saying that you are not authorized to MIR4 transaction.
Quest: Is there any other way to assign this Transaction Variant without creating new Z-Transaction and at the same time I don't want to assign MIR4 transaction to my User??

Perhaps you should reconsider your approach, as you appear to have changed the MIR4 transaction for one purpose but it is being used for others as well...
Suggestion: Try a Variant Transaction instead, and then you can control who has access to this (new) tcode for this new purpose. Of course if the user has access to MIR4 then they can still "see" the delete button.
Perhaps a better option is to find out exactly which authorization controls the use of the delete button, and restrict access to that => the various users all still have access to MIR4, but have a different experience when using it?

Delete function has stopped working on Thunderbird for all files

Windows 7 Professional operating system on my laptop. Delete function in all forms was working fine until yesterday. Have failed to work out the problem.Any ideas out there?

Hi,
check the program name for the transaction and create a screen exit for the same.
Also u can go for copying the code in customer namespace and then add ur own functionality to dactivate or remove the delete function.

Disable Delete Button

Hi All,
In the menu Shopping cart Status, I could able to see all the shopping cart.
Now the requierment is , DELETE button should be disable if there is any corresponding PO for that SC.
Please let me know how to do this. I tried with BADI BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI. But this will hide alll the SC's irrespective of PO's.
Please let me know any other way to do this?

It will be too complex(if at all possible) to implement a solution for enabling/disabling delete button depending on the follow on document of the cart.
I will recommend you to put some code in Check BADI which could check the follow on documents for a Shopping cart on Action DELETE and throw an error if someone tries to delete such shopping carts.

It is very interesting question. If you debug your table maintenance screen, the program of table maintenance screen will not have statically defined pf status. So you cannot exclude delete functionalities using the below statement.
SET PF-STATUS <the GUI status> EXCLUDING 'DELE'.
For viewing pf status SAP has programmed in dynamic manner using this FM VIEW_SET_PF_STATUS.
Before calling above FM you need to exclude delete function. Follow the following step for achieving this
Go to sm30. Put your table name and press on maintain push button. It will display table entries in maintenance screen.
Go to system->status
Click on program name.
Go to your flow logic of you table maintenance screen number.
It will have following code in flow logic

Basically sap fetching status dynamically from program SAPLSVIM using FM VIEW_SET_PF_STATUS. Status name is EULG.

There is no out of the box solution to disable row deleting function. The alternative can be used would be approval procedure. If the documents are subject to approval, all rows will be locked from any changes.

Is there a way to password protect the delete function for pics/videos??

My 2yr old toddler is randomly deleting my pics and videos on my iphone. Yes he knows how to navigate to the pics and videos on his own. I think its that shiny red delete button that catches his eye when he's bopping around form screen to screen. I just want to disable the delete function function so that he doesnt do that anymore. I know there is the backup but that relies on me knowing when and what he deletes as I dont back up all the time.I heard Android has this feature but wasnt sure if the iPhone did. Any help would be appreciated.

The real way to fix this problem is to obvioulsy not allow a 2 yr old to play with your $600 phone.
Get that kid an iPod touch to play with !
