Disable login screen

hello
i made some forms using oracle 9iDS,
when runing these forms use OC4J with DS i get a login screen asking for username password & onnect string for the main form only,
when ideployed the application on an application server 9i, i get the built in login screen in the main form and also when i click any menu item to any other form ..
so i want to keep the built login screen for the main application form and disable it for all the others, please help how to do that..
thankd in advance

Hi..
Try this
On your main form create a trigger
Trigger Name = "On-Logon"
Trigger Level = "Form"
Trigger Code = "LogOn(<Username>,<Password>||'@'||<Connecting Strint>);"
eg: LogOn('SCOTT','TIGER'||'@'||'ORCL');

  • How to disable Login Screen in SRM

    Hi All,
Client has enabled SSO in their system and SRM is part of it. Hence they are not directed to SRM login page.
But for certain cases and unknown reasons, the login page appears. So they want to diable the login screen page and display error text instead.
I tried to modify the template BBPGLOBAL - Login, but is not successful. Even if I comment out the whole code in the template, the screen is displayed.
Is this something to do with ITS ?

    Hi ,
Go through the OSS Note : 778488

  • Disable bluetooth wake from sleep at the login screen

    Hi,
I've got all my user accounts' bluetooth settings set to disable wake by bluetooth devices, but if I use the multi-user switch menu to go to the Login Window and put the machine to sleep, my bluetooth keyboard can still wake the machine, regardless of whether there are any users logged in.
Is there any way to disable bluetooth wake when the machine is at the login screen?
    Thanks,

    FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE

    3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
    4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
    5. Release Home button.
    ON COMPUTER
    6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
    7. Select "Restore iPad"...
    Note:
    1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
    2. If you did not do step 4 properly, start all over again.

  • RS482M4: Tv-Out disabled when XP reaches login screen but works fine before this

    Problem with my RS482M4 board:
When I boot my HTPC I get the boot screen and XP loading screen on my tv, but when the the boot is done and the login screen for XP is about to show up my tv goes black. When I connected a crt monitor to the HTPC I noticed that the login screen now shows up on the crt instead of the tv. I have set the bios settings so that tv with PAL is the primary output.
As the boot shows up on my tv, in color, and everything seems to go well I can imagine that the problem lies with the ati graphic driver. I've heard of problems like this where the tv don't have a certain pin that makes it show up as a monitor to the graphic driver...could this be something like this?
Is there someone out there who have had the same problem and found a solution to it. I havn't upgraded my Catlyst Control Center yet, but I'm about to do this right about when I finished typing this.

What is your pc spec in details including the psu and bios rev! What is your mobo drivers version? Have you tried to installed the latest drivers from ATi including the VGA if you're using the ATi VGA?

I'm very new to the Mac world so pardon this noob question.  But how can I control what user accounts are visible on the login screen on OS X?  I've already went into the System Preference, User Accounts and set the Guest account to disabled.  However this account is still on the logon screen when I reboot the Mac!  How can I remove this account and/or make sure that my user account is the only one visible?

I'm not sure why this worked, but I found this in another post and it worked for me.

I recently tried to install OS X Yosemite.  unfortunately during the install my laptop was unplugged and the installation failed mid way through.  Each time I start my mac I get to login screen and after logging in get an error message and told to restart and try again - which does not resolve the issue.  Guest login do work to the safari screen.  Any help hugely appreciated.

Try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account.  Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up after waiting 10 seconds. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear and again when you log in. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don’t do them all at once.

  • Login screen crashing

After starting our solaris 10 machine, the login screen is flashing and eventually the console shows up. I have tried several suggestions from some forum posts and google searchs but none seemed to have fixed the problem.
What steps should I take to fix this problem? The server runs on sparc and has a xvr-500 video card.
It is possible someone in the past may have changed the configuration of xorg, gdm, and other things...so keep that in mind.
EDIT: After a reboot the login screen will flash several times and then freeze completely. I am stumped.

  • Removed Nouveau, installed Nvidia, black login screen

    Hi there!
Seems like I was just here yesterday...  But seriously, it's coming together.
Today I hooked up my second monitor and tried to get the "one big monitor" effect with noveau, but it wasn't recognizing my setup.  I've had success with installing proprietary nvidia stuff before, so I did the
    "# pacman -S nvidia nvidia-utils"
after removing "nouveau-dri" and the "libgl" business.   I did all that from the bash login screen (which I'd like to keep as the first screen, instead of booting directly into GUI/DE).  After I rebooted, like the guide says to do, the bootloader went through fine, but then sat at a black screen.  After a couple of hard reboots I tried to just type root, password, and kdm, even though I couldn't see anything on the screen.  That worked to get me into the DE.  Problem is, that sucks and I have no idea how to get my bash login screen back, or what I did to lose it.  Anyone know where to look or what to do?  I've not found any info on the forum, or via google... Thank you once again!

My video card is an Nvidia GEForce 9400 GT.  There are no "EE" errors in the Xorg.0.log, a couple of fails, to do with APCI, and nothing in the errors.log or daemon.log (whether or not I should look in those for this issue, I'm still learning.  I did indeed run "nvidia-xconfig" as root.  Not sure what I'm missing.  It does now recognize both monitors after I blindly root login and launch kdm, but ya know... Below is the var/log/xorg.0.log in case this means anything to anyone out there... I'm thinking about doing a fresh install now that I know a few more things.
I installed the entire kdm-meta package and I only really want to install a terminal and do the rest of it that way, if possible.  If it's any pennance for my blatant naievete, I am having fun learning from these mistakes!  Thanks for the input non-noobs!
    Cheers!

  • Discoverer Plus Applet - Cant get login screen

    Hi,
I have discoverer 4i set up on Linux and Win 2000 with 9ias 1.0.2.2.
The discoverer viewer works fine in both environment.
The discoverer plus works fine with WIN 2000.
However with Linux the applet does not bring the login screen. The applet continue to be displayed but is not navigable.
    Thanks
    Shailesh

    Hi,
This happens due to the configuration of the browser and the java installed.
First make sure the configuration in the browser are set correctly, pop up blocker disabled, lan setting do not prevent access to the discoverer server and son on...
Try to remove any java version he has on the computer and install a fresh new JRE.
    Now try again.
