Disable Pass-through

Hi
I imported a big update.xml with pass-through authentication configuration ... Now I can't log in web admin console as configurator. How can I disable the great pass-through?
Big Thanks
JXXE

Hey JXEE,
This is in case still you haven't solved the passthrough, configurator login problem.
I once faced a similar situation, where when one of our administrators configured passthrough login. What he did was, while creating the "passthrough login module group", he added the "resource Login Module" to the "passthrough login module group" but removed the "Default Lighthouse Login Module" from the group. After that the users can login to IDM using the resource login password but configurator could not login at all as the "Default Lighthouse Login Module" was removed from the Login Module Group.
After trying so many options the only thing that worked for me was, preserving the IDM repository, which in this case MySQL, to preserve already created users, roles, resources etc. and then preserving WPMessages.properties, styles.css and images folder to preserve the customization and then reinstalling Sun IDM. By making the new IDM installation to point to the preserved repository and overwriting the new WPMessages.properties, Styles.css and images folder with the preserved WPMessages.properties, Styles.css and images folder I managed to restore the IDM properly.
Looks like you too have similar problem. Hope this procedure would work for you. One reminder though, you may want to create the problem in a test environment and try this remedy before you try it on your production.
Hope this would help.
Thanks,
SunCrazy

  • How do you disable postscript pass-through using Mac OSX 10.6

My Phaser 4600DN prints quite slowly when printing a PDF, a 28 page documents takes nearly 7 minutes to print. On Windows 7 PC the same document takes 6 minutes to print. If I disable Postscript Pass-Through option on the driver the 28 page documents takes two minutes to print. I need to know if there is a similar option in Mac OS 10.6.8?

If, when printing to a Postscript printer, an app generates its own Postscript programme, it is possible for the printer driver to send it directly to the printer w/o any other modification; this is called Postscript pass-through. CUPS, the Mac OS X printing system, does allow for this option, but it is implemented in the printer driver, not the OS. So, whether or not disabling this option is available to you depends on the driver for your printer. Consult its docs or ask Xerox tech support.

  • How can I have each pass through a for loop communicate with a new indicator?

    Hello,
I am using 16 color boxes to indicate how 16 channels are behaving.  If a color box is blue, its respective channel is running correctly, red means it has failed etc.  I am continuously checking each channel using a loop, and I wanted to update the channel colors every loop.  I have made an array of 16 numbers corresponding to the color I wish to have (which are blue = running, red = failed, green = completed, black = not in use).  However, I cannot find a way to pull these 16 numbers out of the array and to the color boxes short of 16 index arrays connected to the color boxes.
I understand how to convert each individual number to a color, I just don't know how to use a 16 times for loop to communicate with a different color box each pass through.  Is there any way to do this or should I just go for brute force?
    Thank you.

Sorry I keep making new posts.  Attached is an example i wrote up.  There are three cases in the disabled structure, each has a different implementation of what i belive your specs are.

  • Analog to digital, how does one actually pass through a TRV120 or TRV950E ?

I would need some technical advice on how to connect a camera with pass-through feature in between a VCR and the computer.
I am trying to copy VHS-C cassettes to the Mac via a Digital8 Sony TRV-120. I use A/V pin connector from the VCR, Firewire to the Mac. I get the VCR image on the TRV's LCD, but nothing on the Mac. iMovie says the camcorder is empty, dot. If I put a tape inside, iMovie launches the tape and I get the image from the tape. I was pretty certain that the TRV-120 had the pass-through feature, having seen it mentioned on some reviews. Is there a special manipulation to do? Or do I need the sVHS cable? (would be weird).
Otherwise, I tried the TRV950E as a converter. The only way I could make the link work through is by recording the analogue signal onto the camcorder tape. I thought it would be easier, am I missing something?
Thanks in advance for your help!
    Paul

In my unnEUtered Sony TRV320E Analog to DV passthrough goes like this:
    1. Take the tape out of the camcorder
    2. Connect the analog device's audio and video to the camcorder's minijack, use the S-Video jack for video if the output device supports S-Video
    3. Put the camcorder into VTR-mode
    4. Select A/V->DV out: ON, in VTR mode's menu choices
    5. Disable the info display on the the camcorder by toggling its DISPLAY button
    6. Put iMovie (or other DV application) to the Camera Mode
The analog image should now appear on the camcorder's screen as well as on the iMovie's screen.
Note that if you have a tape in the camcorder, you have to put the camcorder's VTR into REC mode (you may pause the tape) but this is not advisable because it produces wear to the tape.
    * Note that the SCART which comes with the European nEUtered TRV320E camcorder is Out-only.
Notice that some analog to DV passthrough converters (like the TRV320E) don't work in iMovie HD 6.0.2 like they do in iMovie 4.0.1:

  • RF pass through not working in High ECO mode stand...

I recently changed the ECO mode on my BT G4 DTR-T2100 box from Low to High - I have the RF loop through power option set to On but when my box goes into low power standby (red light on the front) my TV picture starts pixelating.  The moment I press the power button on the BT box the TV displays a normal picture so it looks like the box is not providing power to the RF pass through when in low power standby?  Any one else have the same problem?  Is the box faulty or is there a problem with the software?
    Solved!

That is how the box is designed to work.
If you look at user guide P29 of the current version on the web it explains that you need to be at Low eco mode for RF loop thru.
Thanks - makes some sort of sense I suppose though it would be more obvious if the RF option was disabled if the High Eco option is selected.

  • Audio Pass-Through

In the Encoder Tab of the Inspector Window, there is a pulldown menu to the right of the "Audio Settings..." Button. There are 3 choices in this pull-down menu: Enabled, Disabled, and Pass-through.
What does the Pass-through option mean?
    My system:
    Dual G5 2.3GHz
    4.5 GB RAM
    OS 10.4.2
    FCP 5.0.2
    QT Pro 7.0.3
    Compressor 2.0.1
    massachi

Some of the transcoders allow you to pass the audio or video through without re-compressing or modifying the original state of the encoded data. That's what "Pass-through" does.
Thus, if your audio is already in the correct state (for example AAC) then pass-though will just take the original audio and add it (unmodified) to the output file.

  • XBox 360/Audigy: SPDIF IN pass through to SPDIF OUT not working with 5.1

    Hi,
I've a problem passing my digital dobly signal from my 360 over the Audigy soundblaster to my external decoder. I want to use digital SPDIF IN from the audigy?IO device to pass the signal directly without processing to the external decoder by using the SPDIF OUT.
There is only one digital in at the decoder, so I need this combination if I want my PC and XBox to be connected both without a toslink switch.
I activated the pass through and external decoder option in the audigy console application. I also disabled the DDL encoder. Additionally I set my Windows 7 speaker settings to use SPDIF OUT as standard device.
This is working for every dolby digital signal?from a dvd which I play on my PC, but not for the XBox signal. The signal is not recognized as a 5. dolby digital signal, but as a 2.0 signal. So something must happen with the signal in the audigy. The XBox settings are correct, because when I connect the toslink cable directly to the decoder everything works fine.
My drivers are the newest one (3.8)?from the support pack.
I don't want to use the DDL option, because the latency is much to high to allow regular playing!
Is there a possibility to pass the XBox signal through to my decoder by using the digital in and out of the audigy?
    Thanks in advance,
    Axel

Hi I have the same probleme, exept that I have succesfuly pluged my home theater receiver and the 5.1 works. Just my subwoofer seems not to work properly. Like when I plug it into a digital dvd player it works very nicely. but when pluged into the sound card it seems that it dosnt have any signal for it.
ANy clues??? I know i pluged everything finely I have tested the sound test for each speaker and sub to, from the receiver and from the creative software the sub seems to work but very quietly even if I cran the volume up on the sub or in the software , the sub dont work as it should.
1 thing I remarqued is that the sub works occasionaly in some movies. When listening to the music it not working and I dont understand that.

  • Web Pass-Through Does Not Redirect

We have an issue in which when a client connects to the guest/pass-through WLAN, it does not automatically redirect to the "accept" page. Instead, it only works if you manually input an IP address into the web browser which will then bring up the "accept" page... then users can go ahead and surf the web. Does the controller forward DNS traffic in advance of a user clicking "accept"?

I think I found part of the problem.
We have two internal DNS servers and only one had "recursion" enabled. Even though both were in DHCP, it appears that the WLC was only allowing requests to one DNS server. (The one with recursion disabled.) For example: when connected to the guest WLAN, I was unable to run "nslookup" and resolve on both DNS servers. Only one server would respond... yet, as soon as an HTTP request is hijacked and I click the "accept" button, it allows me to run an "nslookup" against both DNS servers. I'm wondering if, for security purposes, if the controllers only allow DNS resolution requests to one IP initially until the "accept" button is clicked.

  • McAfee EEMAC Login pass through

Our Security team at my company wants to install McAfee's Endpoint Encryption on our Mac laptops. Our Macs are bound into AD and end users login with a user ID and password.
McAfee's Endpoint Encryption login modifies the boot process so that the user logs into McAfee first (AD user ID and password) and then gets to the Mac login screen. I'm wondering if anyone else has a similar configuration, but has developed a login hook to pass through the McAfee user authentication to the Mac's login so the end user only has to login one time.
    Any advice is appreciated... thanks!

    Two problems with trying that:
    a) Not an available option If Iopen the control panel I see eight options: System & Security, Neytwork & Internet, Harware & Sound, Program, User Accounts and Family Safety, Appearance and Personalization, Clock, Language, and Region, and Ease of Access. No "Change Bionmetric Settings".
This Winodws 7 Pro 64 bit
    b) I could have done more on introduction but didn't see the need. While these little computers aren't THAT familiar to me I am retired from decades in the cypher mines in the world of large mainframes. So Iknow SOMETHING about the problem. When Windows is booting up it will start a number of tasks (services) ending with the one that will prodiuce the log in screen. Or in this case, two such routines, one first dsplaying the fingerprint log in screen, then, after a few seconds,  running another routine that brings up the normal password sign in screen. At least, that's what happens wen it doesn't "stall" .
I am asking if anybody can tell me how I turn off the first. It isn't clear that turing off the device that this first routine is trying to access wouldn't make things even worse (unclear that disabling thdevice would remove the routine from the liust of things Windows does when coming up -- perhaps the "stall" is even relted to it not getting a "ready" response form the fingerprint reader).
I am new to Windows7. If still under Windows XP I know there is something that I run that brings up the "things to do while starting up" where you can check or uncheck things (I'd have to find my notes to give more details) but I don't know what that would be under Windows 7 nor, if I got there, the name of the "fingerprint log in" routine to uncheck nor the name of the routine to check that devices without a fingerprint reader would use.
    PROBLEM STILL OPEN

  • Pass-through authentication failing

    The enviroment:
    Server A: Windows Server 2008 R2 / IIS 7
    Server B: Windows Server 2003 R2
Domain Controller: Windows Server 2003 R2
Both server A and B are part of the same domain.
    The issue:
We have files stored in server B that are being shared as \\B\Files. We want to have a virtual directory/application in IIS on server A to make those files available on a web browser,
but, we want access to be controlled by NTFS permissions, and access granted to the user accessing the website by pass-through authentication (challenged for user and password by the browser).
We have set up an application pool, and have set the identity of it to a user that has
read NTFS permissions to \\B\Files. We then set up an Application and set its application pool to the one mentioned above, and have pointed it physical location to \\B\Files. In the advanced settings, we set the physical path credentials
    to Application user (pass-though authentication).
In the authentication settings for the application, we disabled all but Windows Authentication, and in the providers, we have removed everything but NTLM, which is the one we want.
When we test it (https://serverb.com/Files) however, we are challenged (user/password prompt comes up) as expected, but despite what we put in, the prompt comes back, as if the user/password was wrong, or as if the user did not have enough permissions
to access the files. We checked permissions and that's not it. And we have also checked the domain controller to see if the request is getting there, and it is, which means that it is authenticating properly. We can only assume there is a communication
    problem, or restriction somewhere.
We are not sure where else to look, and any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

  • Internet slow on SSID passing through anchor

    Hai,
I have a wireless network with following structure.
    2 WLCs for corporate
2 WLCs for Guest which is on DMZ zone.
EOIP is configured between CORP WLC to guest WLC and everything is working fine.
We have 1  corporate SSID for Inside users and trusted users.
1 for  Guest users, customers  and untrusted users which is passing through EOIP tunnel.
Now we ave noticed that internet speed is very slow for guest users. But from corporate its very fast and both of them are using the same internet connection.
I have done the following test.
Connected my PC to DMZ switch and tested the internet speed from guest vlan .It was very fast .But when it is on wireless, speeds is very slow.
Do we need to do something on the WLC config for solve this issue?

Hi Fredrick, thanks for your response. We've configured tcp-adjust-mss at 1363 byte value and our performance problem
    don't exist anymore.
    Preventing Fragmentation
Unfortunately, there is no method to prevent LWAPP fragmentation in the controller or access points until code version 6.0 with the CAPWAP protocol.
To avoid fragmentation of client packets enable TCP Maximum Segment Size (MSS) control on the controller and lightweight access points in code versions 6.0 and later.
This feature allows connected CAPWAP access points to re-write client TCP SYN packets with the configured maximum segment size to optimize large data transfers and prevent fragmentation when CAPWAP encapsulated. The valid range is from 536 to 1363 bytes, and it is recommended to use a 1363 byte value.
Configure it from the CLI using this command:
    config ap tcp-adjust-mss { enable | disable } { all | ap-name } tcp_mss_value

    Hi Jonathan,
You are getting the warning because a near cache caches Objects. Since the the proxy service is using POF, it must deserialize the POF serialized value in order to put it in the near cache. You don't see the message when you cache directly to the dist-default scheme because that scheme is configured to use POF, which allows the proxy service to pass the POF serialized value directly through to the distributed cache service.
    Thanks,

  • Data has changed after passing through FIFO?

    Dear experts,
I am currently working on a digital triangular shaping using the 7966R FPGA + 5734 AI. I am using LabView 2012 SP1.
Some days ago I have encountered a problem with my FIFOs that I have not been able to solve since. I'd be glad if somebody could point out a solution/ my error.
    Short description:
I am writing U16 variables between ~32700-32800 to a U16 configured FIFO. The FIFO output does not coincide with the data I have been writing to the FIFO but is rather bit-shifted or something is added. This problem does not occure if I execute the VI on the dev. PC with simulated input.
What I have done so far:
I am reading all 4 channels of the 5734 inside a SCTL. The data is stored in 4 feedback nodes I am applying a triangular shaping to channel 0 and 1 by using 4 FIFOs that have been prefilled with a predefined number of zeros to serve as buffers. So it's something like (FB = Feedback node):
    A I/O 1  --> FB --> FIFO 1 --> FB --> FIFO 2 --> FB --> Do something
    A I/O 2  --> FB --> FIFO 3 --> FB --> FIFO 4 --> FB --> Do something
This code shows NO weird behaviour and works as expected.
    The Problem:
To reduce the amount of FIFOs needed I then decided to interleave the data and to use only 2 FIFOs instead of 4. You can see the code in the attachment. As you can see I have not really changed anything to the code structure in general.
The input to the FIFO is a U16. All FIFOs are configured to store U16 data.
The data that I am writing to the FIFO can be seen in channel 0 of the output attachment.
The output after passing through the two FIFOs can be seen in channel 2 of the same picture.
The output after passing through the first FIFO (times 2) can be seen in channel 3 of the picture.
It looks like the output is bit-shifted and truncated as it enters Buffer 1. Yet the difference between the input and output is not exactly a factor of 2. I also considered the possibility that the FIFO adds both write operations (CH0 + CH1) but that also does not account for the value of the output.
The FIFOs are all operating normally, i.e. none throws a timeout. I also tried several different orders of reading/writing to the FIFOs and different ways of ensuring this order (i.e. case strucutres, flat and stacked sequence). The FIFOs are also large enough to store the amount of data buffered no matter if I write or read first.
    Thank you very much,
    Bjorn

During the last couple of days I tried the following:
    1. Running the FPGA code on the development PC with simulated I/O. The behavior was normal, i.e. like I've intended the code to perform.
    2. I tested the code on the development PC with the square and sine wave generation VI as 'simulated' I/O. The code performed normal.
    3. I replaced the FIFOs with queues and ran my logic on the dev. PC. The logic performed totally normal.
    4. Right now the code is compiling with constants as inputs like you suggested...
I am currently trying to get LabView 2013 on the development machine. It seems like my last real hope is that the issue is a bug in the XILINX 13.4 compiler tools and that the 14.4 tools will just make it disappear...
Nevertheless I am still open for suggestions. Some additional info about my FIFOs of concerne:
    Buffer 1 and 2:
    - Type: Target Scoped
    - Elements Requested: 1023
    - Implementation: Block Memory
    - Control Logic: Target Optimal
    - Data Type: U16
    - Arbitrate for Read: Never Arbitrate
    - No. Elements Per Read: 1
    - Arbitrate for Write: Never Arbitrate
    - No. Elements Per Write: 1
The inputs from the NI 5734 are U16 so I am wirering the right data type to the FIFOs. I also don't have any coercion dots within my FPGA VI. And so far it has only occured after the VI has been compiled onto the FPGA. Could some of the FIFOs/block memory be corrupted because we have written stuff onto the FPGA too often?
