Discoverer Plus - DECODE of last 10 transactions or last 10 days of my data

Dear All
Anyone can help me of the below reqeust (DECODE Syntax)
I need to create a report to get a specific number of transaction or days.
Eample 1: Last 10 transaction (Base column will be transaction key number)
Eample 2: Last 10 days (Base column will be transaction date)
Further explanation: We might need to get a sales report for the last 10 invoices issue in the system. So, I can add in the parameter 10 and will get the last 10 invocies or to add 20 and will get last 20 invoices. Or, we might need to get a sales report for the last 10 days invoices issued. So, I can add 10 in the parameter and will get the last 10 days invoices issued. etc.

I think it must be warm where you are and it is good to see you in the forum. You can do as you suggest using parameters but it would not be a DECODE.
You could create 2 parameters: one called TrxType and one called TrxQty with neither associated with anything in the database. You would associate them with <None>
The prompt for the first one would be: Do you want to query by date or by invoice? Your uses should enter D for date or I for Invoice
The prompt for the second one would be: Enter the quantity
You next build a Boolean condition like this:
:TrxType = 'D' AND InvoiceDate >= SYSDATE - TO_NUMBER(:TrxQty)
OR
:TrxType = 'I' AND InvoiceNumber >= max invoice number - TO_NUMBER(:TrxQty)
The tricky part of the above could be determining what the current invoice number is but presumably you already know how to do that.
