Display activity for Tcode FSP0

Dear All,
I need to restrict the access to specific code FSP0 and need to restrict the access for create activity.
Now scenario is that as per functional requirement i had created a role containing t codes" FS00,FSS0,FSP0,FS01,FS02,FS05,FS04,FS06,OB_GLACC11,OB_GLACC12,OB_GLACC13"
now if i tried to make change in authorization object "F_SKA1_KTP" in roles it affects all tcodes in the role and functional people's are not able to preform create activity.
Is their any alternative way to restrict the access to display activity in this role ?
or is there any alternative object to restrict access of FSP0 ??

Hi Nikhil,
Please create a new role with display only access and update the authorization accordingly for object F_SKA1_KTP.
If you mix FSP0 with other tcodes it will be difficult to restrict.

Good Afternoon yes you can goto transaction SU24 insert transaction SCC4 and execute, click on display indicator, and you will see the object S_TABU_DIS assign activity value (03) to your role for this object which has that transaction SCC4 assigned to it. Also make sure that no other roles for that user has this object other wise the values will overwrite it.
Make sure you have locked transaction code OY24 as its a duplicate of SCC4.

Yes, your requirement is possible using screen variant
1. use tcode SHD0
2. give transaction as MM01
3. goto screen variant tab - assign some name - enter program name and screen name
(from mm01 - F1 help)
4. goto transaction variant tab - assign some name - assign already defined screen variant name
5. goto standad variant tab - transaction variant name already fetched automatically - click on active button (it was placed after transaction variant name

[SOLVED] "Server is already active for display 0" in Terminals

So far, my searches haven't yielded any solutions to this.
When my system starts, it boots to a console login prompt (no gdm, etc...) and I have 'startx' in my .bashrc to start my desktop. The desktop starts and functions fine (or so it seems).
Problem 1: Anytime I open a Terminal window (or open new tabs inside a Terminal) I am greeted with the following:
Fatal server error:
Server is already active for display 0
If this server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.X0-lock
and start again.

Sometimes the last line is:
xinit: unexpected signal 2
Usually I just ^C to get a working prompt and go about my business, but this is getting really annoying.
Problem 2: I use Guake terminal and have it set to autostart in my .bashrc, but it doesn't work until I manually open a Terminal window. And if I close that (manually opened) window, Guake stops working. If I open another one manually, it works again...etc. I have a hunch this is related to the first problem.
Any nudges in the right direction would be appreciated.

Display list for Vendor search in SC tcode in SRM 7

Hi all,
We are on SRM 7.1 ECS.
THe vendor search help display list in SRM 7 in the SHOP in 1 STEP tcode displays number of columns like VENDOR ID,name,street,city etc...IN SRM 5,there were only limited number of clumns(around 6) displayed like vendor ID,name,Porg,DUNS etc.
I know in SRM 7,we can right click and always chnage the USER settings for each individual session/user.BUt if I need to craete a default display list for the vendor serach in the SC transaction,is that possible?
Also if I modify the web dynpro application to limit the no of culmns,then changes will be displayed in all the trasnction sin which the vendor search help might be used.
Users in our org have problemw when scrollingtop to bottom in the result list which is displayed for the vednor seaqrch due to the new web dynpro UI in SRM 7 and hence the query.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

the below is for goa . try for BP too.. Why you require TREX search . std search dont enough. since
TREX helps only if you want to enable full text search for long texts and attachments in contracts.You need to instal the trex server and configure the settings:-
1.create RFC destination of type TCP/IP server using TCODE SM59
2.MAINTAIN ENTRY IN back end systems settings
3. Activate full text search y executing the program BBP_TREX_INDEX_ADMIN .

Sales Order form error "Not able to retrieve Display values for Service"

Hi,
Few of our orders flash the below error message when the order is queried
"Not able to retrieve Display values for Service"
Below are the points I observed
1.The orders I am referring to are imported order via EDI interface.
2.The service reference type code has value of ORDER, however no other service related fields (like service reference line id) have any values.
3. The item is not a service item (service tab in Item setup is disabled)
4. Same item when imported with value of "Customer Ordered" in "service reference type code" field, does not throw an error.
5. If I update "service reference type code" with value null or change it to CUSTOMER_PRODUCT, the error disappears.
Can someone explain the significance of this column value and what could have been causing this error message?
May be there are some dependent fields/setups which must have a value when service reference type code =ORDER.

Maintain the dafault values using Tcode OISF with respective to Planning Plant you have to maintain the following values like Order Type, Main Work Center, Maint. Plant,Group,Group Counter,Business Area & Task List type.

Payment Block field in invoice displays 'Free for payment 'even though ?

We have set necessary upper tolerance limit for Price & Quantity variance in OMR6.This should block invoice for payment in case if this limit is crossed and payment block field in invoice should display "R Invoice verification".
In our case if material is having standard price then we are getting desired results in both the cases of Quantity variance and price variance . However in case of material with moving average price it works fine in quantity variance but not for price variance(Here invoice gets blocked for payment but payment block field displays "free for payment").What can be probable reason for this?
Material ledger is activated in our case.

Batch to be activated for a material

We need to activate Batch Management for a material which was already created and some transactions also done with that.
We have done the following :
1) All required settings done in SPRO
2) All documents for that material have been deleted. There are no Open documents (PR, PO, Sales).
3) There is no stock for that material.
4) Now when we try to activate Batch Management tick in Material Master it gives error
Batch management requirement cannot be changed; choose "Display errors"
when we click on display errors :
The batch management requirement cannot
be changed for the following reasons:
"Stock already exists at Plant level"
But there is no stock, no documents. We do not want to do any archiving activity. so whether this material can be activated for batch management.
Please clarify : If any transaction has happened for a material, but there is no stock or open documents, whether batch can be activated.

Have you checked the stock at zero level for all the plants?
Also, activate the batch managemetn at material level and create.
Check open PO exist for any other plant? In MMBE---enter material, got to Environment data on MEnu bar and select Open PO's.
Then go to MM02 and activate Batchy Management.

Executed the report S_ALR_87013620 by providing necessary details.
Displays the report and then clicked on Report-> Print -> PrinterNa
But when I execute through program it does not work. UNable to view Screens for Report-> Print->Printername
screens.

Try Thi - might work.:
1) Before running the tcode MCRO - (i.e type MCRO in the commond prompt and then do the next steps)
2) Menu- Got to- User settings
3) Default your user name will be there.
4) Now start selecting key figures and charecteristics.
Save and try to execute.

QM activation for a plant

can anybody tell me how to activate QM for a plant for results recording.
how to ensure that result recording does not stop any further process, ie, material should be posted to unrestricted stock instead of quality stock. Please tell me what are all the settings required for this.

1) are there any plant level settings to be made. If so how ( either Tcode or menu path please and the data to be maintained)? In OMS2 I have checked that the QM is activated for the material.
2)In the case you told me the material seems to move to quality stock. But for me when GR is done material should not go to quality stock. It should go to unrestricted stock. I will do result recording later.
Please provide a solution fo this.
