Display Changes: Change document

Hi all,
I have a ALE link established between two partner SAP systems. When I change some field in the e.g. material master, it triggers an IDoc to the partner system and updates the same.
In the source system the Changes are displayed in the Change documents for the material.
However in the target system the change does not reflect although the IDoc did update the material.
I have looked at the concept of change pointer fields maintained for the message type in BD52 in both systems but no help.
Please advice what is the criteria for logging the change documents.

I am new in ABAP , I need help to developed report for document changes
I had gone through the tables there are CDHDR and CDPOS , from this tables
the following items have to be retrive to display the report as in attachement
These standards reports are taken from RVSD100 and RVSD200 reports which allow viewing changes on a single sales document in online mode howver the selection paratmeters for these two standard reports does not allow the selection parameters by plant code, document number, date ranges and also does not allow multiple sales document to be listed at the same time
I need a report that will allow them to list the changes made in the contract documents with more ranges options on the report selection parameters
basically this customised report will retrive all the changes made in sales contract documents within a plat , date ragne and other selection paramters
The report must allow ALV display also
sales office code and sales office description
+ contract document number
sort by date, header data filed name <01> with old and new values changes and username
sort by date, header data field name <02> with old and new values changes and username
etc....
etc...
can you please help me how to start do we required funtional module etc.,I know it is easy but i need some push to start.

I am working with client data team in SCM 7.0 and wanted a confirmation please. Can you please confirm that deletion of Product / Location from the Where used List ("WUF") does NOT appear in the /SAPAPO/PROD_CD_READ - Display Change Documents? I ahve completed a test in T sys and have no change doc.
If I use Produst Master (Prod Mast) and the Flag for Deletion is set via Product > "Flag for Deletion" then the save I see the deletion flag is set.
Can you guide me to change doc where the material location is removed (ie: the Green tick to remove materialloc).

SPRO->IMG->APO-> Master Data -> Product -> Activate Change Documents

Displaying change documents(MM03) in Material master

Hi All
One User having problem in displaying change documents(MM03) made by the some of the users for the materials
(It is not the authorization as he is provided with the same to diplay the change doc)
Kindly let me know how i can view the change docs made by all the uesrs

Hi,
You can check the MM04 Transaction to check the Changes for Material master.
System will display the date, time & user name who changed the material, if you click the line then system will display all the details for the changed material master.

Sap Banking - Display change documents for accounts

Hello,
Can anybody help me? I need to write a report that shows all the change documents for a range of accounts, and I don't know how to retrieve this info. I know that there's a table BCA_CN_LINK that storages what object type was modified and by whom. But I don't know in which table the old and new data is stored for each change document.
Any idea is welcome!!!

You can see the change documents for a single account vía transaction BCA_CN_ACCT_03 (Account Management -> Account -> Account Master Data -> Display Account) and then click the ChangeDocuments Account pushbutton

Displaying change documents for custom fields in FPP2

I have added a new subscreen to the Business partner via BUPT. The new fields are on a custom table. I have created change documents for the new fields and all that is working fine - details are being written to CDHDR/CDPOS as expected. In the standard FPP2 transaction the user can select Extras / Partner changes which will display a list of the change documents. This does not include my custom fields.
Does anyone know if it is possible to include my custom field changes in this list? I have searched several forums but cannot find any reference to this.

Fix a break-point in the following function modules and check whether you are passing custom fields
CHANGEDOCUMENT_SINGLE_CASE
or
CHANGEDOCUMENT_MULTIPLE_CASE
SAP uses the above said function modules to update change documents. Its have two import paratmeters

thanks for replying me. actually, it is to prevent user from other dept to change the PO even print/message. when i check inside authorization the configuration is only for their own dept by putting dept code at pur org field of change. but still can change. it is because of the me22 layout screen?

Change Documents for batch characteristics

Dear Guys,
Badly in need of your help !
In our project, we are required to report changes made on batches characteristics.
My program fetches records from CDPOS table that has change doc. object as 'CLASSIFY'.
The challenge is to find the new and old value. They are not directly stored in VALUE NEW and VALUE OLD. They are simply '1'.
I'm sure that they are stored somewhere in the database because the vlaue before and after change can be seen in the transaction mch3n via menu-> Display Change Documents.
I tried hard finding the table-field but looks like its not straight forward. This is really challenging.

The change done in the project profile will only affect newly created projects.
Have you checked if change documents are created for new projects?

I have created some customer fields in a bid inv header. Now I need to track changes in these fields. How can I do it? (because in CDHDR I don't see any changes for cust fields)

Now I see changes in cdpos cdhdr tables
But changes are not shown in the version tab
The version management in SRM is a different concept from the "change document" you observed in CDHDR, CDPOS tables, even though they are both options for tracking changes. If you have seen change entries in CDHDR, CDPOS tables, chances are you would be able to see them by clicking the button "Display Change Document" in your document header tab, next to the "Changed On" field.

BSP for Creation and change and display of the documents in SAP R/3.

In SAP R/3 system, the documents can be maintained using the T-Codes CV01N, CV02N, CV03N for creation, change and display of the documents. Users is allowed to access to these transaction using the BSP application. The BSP page would be used to enable access the T-Code CV01N, CV02N, CV03N and allow uses to carryout the functionalities of check in and checkout of the document and the object links.
do i need to replicate all these T-Codes in BSP application?
If anybody hv done this...pl suggest me and give me the code.

if you want this out of BSP, yes you have to code all of them there is not easy way.
but if the idea is to webenable these transaction and you dont have much time/resource to do it , easiest way is to go with ITS. downside of this is that you dont have much control over look and feel.
If you are on WAS6.40 or above your application server comes with integrated ITS and enabling the same is quiet simple.

Change document display in BDT

Hi,
Can some tell me how to display the change document list for the field level in BDT...CHGD1,CHGD2 and CHGD4 are event where i have written the code to display the list..currently it always display a single record list i.e created...it never show that the field that got changed after the create...but for the standard BP field it list show the field level change..it would be helpful if come can help in this. Or provide a sample code that would display the field level change in the list.

Can't display archive change documents for agreement (COND_B)

Hello,
I want to display archive change document for object class : COND_B (agreement) via transaction MEB3:
The archive works fine, and I can found the archive change documents form SARA.
(Archive Objetc = CHANGEDOCU
Archive info structure = SAP_CHANGEDOCU2 (is active))
But the display from the application transaction : MEB3 doesn't work.
In the DEBUG:
the Function module is called automatiquely: COND_B_DISPLAY_DOCUMENT
THEN SUBMIT RSSCD100
THEN The function module is called with the no parameter READ_CHANGEDOCU (ie with space value)
THEN the program reads only from DB
Question : HOW I oblige the program to read from the archive (READ_CHANGEDOCU = 'X') ?
I checked these SAP notes 1050935,1299903, 1308024, 1128954, 1050335
but no results.
May be I forgot some customizing ( SARA,, AOBJ )?

Hi,
As I understand, the change documents archived using the CHANGEDOCU archiving object are no longer available using the application object.
Refer to Notes 1257133 and 140255 where they mention the above point.
If you want to read change documents along with the application, then you must first archive the change documents along with the application.
In your case, for agreements, you should use object SD_AGREEM so that the change documents also gets archived along with the agreements. Refer to note 761281 to check whether the archiving class CHANGEDOCU is already defined along with object SD_AGREEM in your system.

The BDT offers the display of change documents as a generic service. All application objects and their applications can take advantage of this service through events CHGD1, CHGD2, CHGD3 and CHGD4.
