Display changes done instantly in tableview

Hi all,
I have a requirement wherein i am filling the comments which i am collecting in textedit field and when i click on save it gets saved in database and In the same page itself i have a tableview containing a column of that comments field.
I am able to save the comments in database, but as it is dont in Oninputprocessing, it displays the change in tableview only when we execute the program again. I want to display the changes in tableview as soon as the save button is clicked. I have similar requirement for some editable fields in tableview also.
How can i do that???

I believe you are filling the tableview in <b>Oncreate</b>. Instead, try to fill onInitialization.So when you 'Save', DB gets updated & control comes to Oninitialization it will get the modified data.
Or you can refill the Tableview data after saving successfully.

Dear,
We have this requirement and we raised OSS to SAP also on this.
Reservation changes cannot be tracked in SAP system due to least importance it has. One work around through ABAP development but its not supported by SAP due to abnormal increase in data volume of change recording in data base which impacts system performance.
For this we, go with authorization matrix by which remove MB22 authorizations from all users and make one super user like concept. Means one plant only one user has authorizations for MB22 for which he can change the reservation. He get instructions whenever any user want to change reservation - must shoot a mail to all concerning inventory team before he changing with MB22.

How can I disable display/Change Button on transaction code VL03N

Dear Guru,
I found problem about transaction code vl03n because I define authorize for a user that can only display delivery document by transaction code VL03N. But this transaction have display/change button that when user click this button they can change delivery document. Please help me how can I solve this problem?

This should be done authorizations only. Although the button is displayed, is the user able to change and save the Delivery document?

Material Master- Display changes thr' Z-program

Hi,
I have created two custom fields in MM01, which appear as DISPLAY
only fields.
The value in these fields is populated depending on some another
Z-field. This value is populated in database table thr' one Z-program.
But reqmt is like, whenever the value is changed thr' Z-program,
material master - Environment Menu>Display changes, should display the
change history for that material.
Can we use some 'CHANGEDOC*' function modules in Z-program so that it
will record the user name , tcode, time and date in CDHDR table?
If yes, what are those FM's and what should be the sequence for using
those function modules?

Hello,
First you will have to go to the domain level and click a flag for change documents in attributes. Once you have done that you need to put those fields in the object for mara. For that you need to go to transaction SCDO. Find the the material object and add your fields there. Do not forget to regnerate teh program. Now once you have done that try to see if you are getting the change pointers if not then you will have to code to create the same using these

Report: RFKABL00 SAP Report - Display Changes to Vendors
In R3, we can run this report either from:
1) SE38 or
2) "Change Vendor: Initial Screen" (i.e. FK02) -> Environment-> Account Changes-> All Fields-> Environment-> Multiple Display.
it shows all the updates dates & who changed the information, i wanted to use these info into my Program. but don't know what table its using to fetch update date & time and changed fields. LFA1 has only recent change.
Can anyone have some idea what table i can use for these change History.

Display/Change/Delete of planning object not working in BPS

Hi Guys
While displaying or changing object in planning workbench, system is taking too long to process the request and request doesn't completes even in hours. The following operations are not working
1. Delete Planning Area/Level.
2. Display/Change planning Level.
3. Display/Change Planning Layout.
4. When clicking on Variable Tab of infoarea.
5. When clicking on Set variable button.
In all of the above mentioned cases System displays a message "Generating Environment" and it runs for indefinite time.All this is ha0
We are on Suppport Pack 12 of BI NetWeaver(2004S)and we are using BPS for our planning application.

Thanks for info. i know that it will take some time to regenerate the BPS classes after making changes in cube but in my system its taking at least half an hour which i think is too much.....i don't think that its normal behaviour of system...

DISPLAY CHANGED UNXPECTEDLY!!!!!

I suddenly lost my millions of color display spontaneously!!!! It became like "over-shinning" with no-borders-icons and very low resolution. I opened System Preferences and Display pane and adjusted to thousands of colors with same results, and then again to 256 colors, which is the only way I have to see icons and read text. I opened then Universal Access pane and check the Black/white Display mode was on, and it was. I tried even changing to White/Black, and then back again, but doesnt reset to normal. Restarting the MacBook didn´t help either. I can only use 256 color mode. How can I get back to millions???? I need it for Clinical Photography of my patients!!!!!!!

I'm not exactly sure why this happens... It seems the setting changes automatically if you go into Universal Access. Since you don't actually change anything... it's tough to know what you're supposed to do to fix it. A tell-tale sign that this is the problem is that when you first boot up your computer, the login screen is fine... it's not until after you login that the display changes.

Changes done in ECC 6.0 from 4.6C

I would like to know the changes done in the SAP-HCM system or things added in the version ECC6.0 of that compared to 4.6C as I need to analyze the system changes as i have to do an upgrade scenario later for my client.Kindly help me.

Storing changes done to a selection view of a LDB in a TR

Hi Friends,
I do have a problem while storing the changes done to a LDB selection view in a TR. Please guide me on the same, below is the summary of changes done.
The requirement is as below:
Modified the STD LDB DDF's selection view.
Existing: Payment terms (ZTERM) taken from KNB1.
Required: Payment terms (ZTERM) to be taken from BSID.
So the changes we did are as follows:
Go to SE36>DDF>Extras>Selection views>Copy origin of view SAP to CUS and click on change.
Here we removed the input criteria for KNB1-ZTERM and added BSID-ZTERM as an input field. There was no TR prompted.
Please let us know how to get these changes stored in a TR.
We have also tried adding the below object in a TR# manually, but of no use.

Can you elaborate on your answers...as I have already created CUS (origin of view - a copy of SAP) it is not allowing me to create one more origin of view... can you tell me how to create another origin of view apart from CUS, so that I can start these changes afresh...
Also in SE03 even If i give DSEL and SAPDDFSTANDARD it is not displaying any objects and prompting to give a valid name...

User exit to be triggered for PR05 when click on display/change/create

Hi,
If there a user exit or BADI that is triggered when I click on display / create / change a respective line of trips in transaction code PR05? I tried the following user exit but non is triggered when i click on the said button ( display / change / create ).
- FITR0001
- FITR0002
- FITR0003
- FITR0005
What i'm trying to achieve here is to default the Trip type based on the cost centre / WBS Element assigned for that particular trips. I highly appreciate for any feedback / help on this.

There are no BADI or user exits for for requirement 1 . I suggest you to go for implicit enhancement options to default trip type .

Display/Change toggle option in custom transaction

Hi all,
I have created a custom transaction with 3 screens . Now the requirement is, I have to provide the user an option to toggle between Display/change mode. As per my idea, I have to identify all the fields to be toggled , assign them as a group in attributes and get it done using below code.
Loop at screen.
if screen-group1= 'XXX'.
screen-input = 0/1.
modify screen.
endif.
endloop.
But , in my case , I have table control and some other fiedls on my screens.
So, I have to use the above code twice in the PBO (once for all other fiedls and once for Table control fiedls).
And I have to repeat this process in each screen.
Is there any way to provide toggle option from display/change vice versa at complete transaction level in an easiest way?

Other idea would be switching whole subscreens (I guess your custom program consists of them, right?). In these alternative screens you would need the same table controls with read only fields set by default. So you would switch from one to another back and forth.
If you need to stick to same approach you have, the easiest would be creating a routine which loops through screen and turns on/off each group/screen fields given as parameters. Then you just call it in several places you need.

Yosemite slow load and display changes at logon screen

I updated my Macbook Pro to Yosemite; since then at logon the display scale is bigger than my default, but once logged on the display changes smaller to my default.
At the logon I find that it takes longer to load after entering password etc; status bar rolls and taking about 30 seconds (instead of the 5 seconds previously in Mavericks).
Also find that after logon, it takes a few minutes to connect to the internet and be ready to use.
This never happened previously, was instant after logon could go straight into email or safari and work.
Is others experiencing this and what can I do to improve this?

Tracking of Attached file by File name in display changes option

i have a requirement where user wants to track the deleted file from document.
when we go to environment-->display changes, system shows only format(wrd,xls etc) of the file which was created and deleted but how to track the file by file name once created and/or deleted.

You would be able to tackle this partially by adding a new hidden key figure.
Refer the example below;
Kfig1. Stat forecast: Calculated using stat forecasting
Kfig2. Adjusted forecast: user normally changes this
Kfig3. Hidden copy of Adjusted forecast:
Using macros copy 1st snap shot of stat forecast to Adjusted and Hidden. once adjustments are done, use Macro to compare Adjustments and Hidden copy of original values, or this can be a overnight batch job to generate alerts
