Display on Qosmio F60-10U Turns Mozaic and System Getting Hang
From The Day I purchased F60-10U; i am facing thins problem. My display occasionally Turns into Mozaic and same time System Getting Hang. only thing i can do is restart with power button.
i had given to service center; they told that its because of virus and need to be formatted. as i was 100% sure that its not because of virus; i took back from there.
I had tried below:
1. Update Display Driver
2. Downgrade Display Driver
3. Factory reset
4. Scan for virus with various engines
5. Updated All Drivers
Nothing works...
Anybody else has got same problem?
Hope that i can get some fix for this.

I dont think this issue has anything to do with virus and I believe graphic card is defective. All you have done is right and after factory image installation virus will be killed and everything should work well.
Contact service again, let them test with factory settings and if the same will happen again I presume they will exchange motherboard.

I agree. Mine is 64gb, and the most warmth I notice seems to be where I was holding it.
The result of excess heat would be that its battery would run down faster than it should. With a full charge, it should run at least eight hours, maybe ten. Someone mentioned that their iPad charge went down ten percent per hour.
The iPad normally stays on all the time, and is put to sleep by pressing the Sleep button. In the sleep mode, it draws extremely low current, so the battery does not run down for many days. With yours in the sleep mode, does it still get hot?
Regardless, I think the display problem is reason enough to take it to the Apple Store Genius. If there is no Apple Store near you, look for an Apple Authorized Repair Center. There may be one in your city. In the US, <United States>. Outside the US, <http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1434>.

The display or graphic card are damaged. The only thing you can do is to take your computer to an Apple Store or reseller to get your computer repaired.
If you use an external display with your Mac, connect it to your computer and see if these lines appear on the external display. If so, it's a graphic card problem -
Qosmio F60 - No additional touchpad and Fn function after Win 8 upgrade
I recently installed Windows 8 on my Qosmio F60 and now I have some issues, I think it might be driver related but not sure which drivers in particular.
1. The touchpad still works for moving the pointer but swiping along the right edge doesn't scroll anymore, I have had a look on the drivers webpage but cant find which driver I need it install to make this work. Also does anyone know if there is a Windows 8 driver so that i can swipe the edge to bring up the charms and switch tabs?
2. The FN keys no longer work so i can't control the brightness or the other functions along the top row of the keyboard.
If anyone can help with either of these issues that would be great.

As you can see there are no special Win 8 drivers fro the Qosmio F60 series.
Its not Win 8 supported.
However, I think you should be able to use the Win 8 upgrade drivers released for Qosmio F750.
Try it.
Recommend installing the touchpad driver (from Synaptics), the Toshiba Function Key Utility, Value Added Package and Toshiba System Driver -
Webcam light on Qosmio F60 blinks between blue and red
Hi guys, I have a Qosmio F60. The problem I think I am facing right now is that the webcam light blinks between blue and red for a while and goes back to blue. And it gets kind of hot behind the webcam on the cover of the laptop.
Is it supposed to get hot when I make video calls?
And what could be causing the blinking of the led light for the webcam.Hi
Dont know exactly what the blinking led could mean but Ive got one question;
Does the webcam work properly? Can you use this as supposed?
If yes, then I would not be worried
By the way the cam should not get warm I think the FL inverter which is placed behind the screen is warm but this is ok. -
Laptop turns on and Im getting Blank screen
I have a CQ61-41QUS here that was working fine one day, next day turned it on and I am welcomed by Power light on, Wireless light on (orange) caps lock and numbers lock lights flashing twice - pause - repeat. The charge light is on (plugged into A/C) and the power light is on, drive activity light never even flickers. Screen is black, never posts, nothing ever comes on the screen (hence can't enter BIOS). The Fan is running, the DVD drive makes a few clicks, but never boots even with a bootable disk in the DVD drive. This is what I have done so far:
Connected external monitor, tried booting while using fn/F4 keys to activate the external monitor display - no change, nothing on the laptop display or the monitor display. Have held the fn key and pressed F4 numerous times waiting 3-5 seconds in between presses to see if anything ever display - never get anything, just the same num/caps lights blinking.

Pulled hard drive, put in an external USB case, drive can be read on other computers, no errors found when scanned.
Cleaned fan/vents with compressed air
- No change
Pulled laptop battery, removed CMOS/BIOS battery, unplugged A/C adapter. Held power button in for 1 minute

Never any display at all, never a beep, just those two blinking caps/number lock 2 blinks / pause/ 2 blinks / pause forever.The specs say it's an Ati mobility radion HD 4200. Is there a way to test it? With multi meter. I'm wondering why would I be in luck if it were intel? I'm more mechanical/electronic savy then operating system savy. Can fix most electronics. But I'm stumped on this. And am I correct in thinking the GPU Wich is the video card can't be replaced easley because it's soldered to the main boards? Or can I replace it ? My Iphone 4s is shut down and not getting power on. Do I have the battery problem ? how can I fix it when my phone is not getting on and how can I contact to the apple ? I need to send it or fix it by myself within a limited time. I am from Mankato, MN.
Please suggest me what should I do?Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start, usually takes about 10 seconds. If still nothing, connect to Wall Charger and Reset, this can sometimes take about 20 seconds of hold both buttons while on charger.

Toshiba Qosmio x775 Randomly Turns off and on itself.. PLEASE HELP!
Whenever I turn on my Laptop Toshiba Qosmio x775..it randomly turns off then turns on itself..sometimes for just 20-30mins or sometimes less than or sometimes in can run the for many hours..the problem is not with the Adapter because i try to put the battery and unplug the adapter and still it happens randomly..dunno whats the problem with this..
Mostly i researched..they said it's overheating..they said to check if the fan is full of dust something like that..but none of it works..I downloaded a program CoreTemp to check the Temperature for overheating issues..and it's only on 45-50 degrees..and that program has overheating protection to shutdown if it reaches 90 degrees..but in my case in does not reach that degree and still shuts down..hayy..need help badly..SO FAR SO GOOD FIX GUIDE-
If you own a Toshiba Qosmio laptop and you are having problems with it powering down for no reason, try this.
1) Unplug all the wires and remove battery
2) Hold down power button for 30 seconds
3) Plug everything back in and start it up
4) Hold F2 to enter boot menu
5) Go to the Advance Tab
6) Set Execute Disable Bit to Not Available
7) F10 to save and exit

When turning on my imac, it loads to a blue screen with a spinning wheel. It never gets passed that screen. I have tried power up to safe mode and it still doesn't work. I have music files saved on the computer and I don't want to lose any of my files. Can someone help me?
Zap the PRAM and Reset the SMC, and see if that fixes it. BTW. detailed computer and OS info goes a long way to solving problems.

'imessage' turned off and not getting some texts message

I have turned 'imessage off on my iphone 5.. Now im not getting some texts messages from people.
I have had it turn off all the time as i run a group text app. I did the current 'software update' and it turned imessage back on. I didnt realise for a few days. I have now turned it off. BUT now im not receiving some peoples texts??? any ideas what to do??

Not sure if this is a heat issue, power failure or motherboard problem. Sometimes it powers down completely, but most of the time the power supply is still on but the monitor no longer recognizes that the computer is on and the monitor is in power save mode. I installed a new video card hoping that would fix the problem but it continues with the new video card.

Due to the age of the computer, I suspect a failing power supply unit (PSU). Here is a guide to help you troubleshoot the problem. A failing PSU can cause symptoms that are seemingly not related to the PSU.
Also, check to assure all of the components are seated properly; especially, the memory.

Palm Pre EVDO turns off and cant get it back on
Has anyone experienced this? The EV icon disappears sometimes after a night of charging which then cuts my data connection. The only way to get it reconnected is to do a hard reset.
I've tried ##EVDO#, but w/o network connection I can't even change any of the settings. Is there a way to somehow turn this back on again?

Mac is stuck on the reset password screen.
If it hasn't got iOS 5+ pre-installed then you will need to connect it to a computer's iTunes in order to activate it.
