Displaying Non-Work time for all resources via a Calendar?

I am looking for a way to display a calendar or a view of all resources that will show the planned vacation time for each resource based on the "non-work time" set in each resource calendar.

Hi,
As workaround solution, through P6 professional you can create a report with choosing
"Resources" as subject Area and selecting "Time Distributed Data" option and,
At "Time Intervals Field" you can select "Limit" to be distributed.
This will give you a tabular report showing resource limit over selected period with selected intervals.

  • Non-working time for particular resources

I have reviewed the suggested answers and they don't seem to fit my case.   Project 2013 Pro.
I have a particular resource who takes three days off. These days occur in the middle of an 8 day task, fixed duration, on which he is only working 20%. He has his own calendar to deliver this information and I have checked that the days off display in Resource
Sheet/Resource Information  for that person.  The fact that he takes off three days is not shown by the bar in Gantt view. (standard time off is set to 'behind task bars').
If I temporarily change his commitment to 100%, the calculated hours in the task form are 40, showing that the software is recognising his time off, since otherwise it would be 8x8=64. The gap in his work time still doesn't show.
Is there a way to show the gap so that I know (well, remember) he is not around for those three days?
    Cheers
    Alan

TeamPlanner view shows the resource's nonworking time as it is seen below:

  • Can we some how display the start time for meetings on the monthly calendar

I would like to be able to start times to apointments on the monthly calendar view and also be able to print it. Can this be done with i Cal? If not is there an add-in that will allow it?

iCal Preferences>General and check 'Show event times in month view'.

  • Note 403102 - Offset takes non-working time of resource into account

    Hello Friends,
I have implemented the OSS notes 403102 for considering the offset value without considerding the non working time of the resource in APO system.
but as i have implemented the sample code given there(copy & Paste) the functionality seems to be not working.
the productive hours maintained in the transaction /SAPAPO/RES01 is 8.5 hrs.
previously the system was considering the productive hours as 24 and was calculating.
after implementation of the notes if I specify a 4 days offset iam getting 3.5 days offset .  for 6 days its 5 days offset.
    does anyone faced this issue.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
if u any code modification u can mail to me at [email protected]

  • Non working times report in pwa 2010

how can I report out non working time for resources?

    See this similar
post for a code oriented solution for resources.
    This
post gives a similar code for project exceptions.
Otherwise, select Reports | Assignment | Who Does What, edit the Report, and then within the Details Tab, select Calendar under the resource column.  It will list each resource's calendar and non working time. See reference
    here.

  • How to forward support messages to SAP in non-working time automatically?

Hi colleagues and Happy New Year!
I have a question: how to forward support messages to SAP at non-working time automatically?
    Details:
when a support message is created at working time it shouldn't leave my system, but when
a support message is created at non working time, for example, on saturday night it should be sent to SAP automatically. Where in the system I can find the options to customize it to provide these requirements?

  • Adobe PDF won't print non-working time colour in MS Project

Adobe PDF won't print the colour chosen for non-working times in MS Project.  I have tried changing the colour, changing the style, moving non-working time in front of tasks and have fiddled with the printer properties, all to no avail.  It ignores whatever style I have for non-working time and makes a blank space, although it will take gridline changes . . . . please help!

Thank you for providing the suggestion and the Cleanup tools, however they did not help.
I ran each version of the cleanup tool, and for each I had it clean up Reader and Acrobat (i.e. 4 separate cleanup operations).  I then rebooted the machine, and installed Reader 11.0.3.
Still had the same behavior:  Reader will not print.  I tried printing to a second printer (that is attached via USB)...and it did not work either.  I also tried printing to a Cute PDF Writer print driver...and that did not work either.  In each case, no print data made it to the Windows print queue (as demonstrated by watching the queue while printing.)  No error was raised, but no print data was transmitted.
I then uninstalled Reader 11.0.3, rebooted, and re-installed Reader 9:  printing works fine now.
There is definitely something in Reader 10 and Reader 11 that breaks printing in some environments.    (As you alluded to...I have seen a number of postings online about printing problems in Reader.)
    More details about my environment:
    Windows 7 Professional N (Version 6.1, Build 7601: Service Pack 1)
    VMWare virtual machine
Two virtual CPUs (each: Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67 GHz, 2673 Mhz, 1 core, 1 Logicial Processor)
    Hardware Abstraction Layer:  6.1.7601.17514
RAM:  3096 (allocated to virtual machine)
    Bridged networking
    VMware host:
    Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit 6.1.7601, Service Pack 1
    18 Gig RAM
    Intel Core i7 CPU 920 @2.67 GHz
    VMWare Workstation 9.0.2 build-1031769
(but problem existed on older version of VMWare Workstation 7.x as well)

  • Hiding non-working time in Team Planner View

Hello there.  The tasks in my project are typically between 2-5 hours over a week period.  In Team Planner View, I'm hoping to provide a better representation of free time between tasks by making my bottom tier hours in a 4 hour count.  However,
decreasing the scale forces the Task names become cut off when the event itself shrinks.
I was hoping to remove the non-working time (i.e., nights and weekends) from the Team Planner view to enable a better view.  I'm aware that the capabilities of Team Planner View seem to be limited, but is this type of formatting at all possible?
    Thanks for the help,
    Joe

    Joe --
After I created my response and posted it, I wondered whether you wanted to completely remove the nonworking time periods.  This is not possible.  The best you can do is to remove the shading for nonworking time periods, but you cannot remove them
entirely in any view.  Hope this helps.

  • Scheduling changeover times in non working times

PP/DS heuristics and or the PP/DS optimiser will not automatically place changeover times in non working times, however other smaller APS systems have such functionality. Has anyone come across this or have a method to use to get APO to do this? May be it should be a new development?

    Hi Thomas,
Thanks for your reply. Yes i am aware of this setting - this is the standard approach, however do you know of a way automatically (heuristic or optimiser) schedule the set up segment of an order into non working times whilst keeping the produce section in productive time? I know you can amend the strategy and use that in the heuristic but it will schedule all parts of the order in the non working time if it can.
    Thanks
    Fred

  • Non- Working Time

In sap when i am trying to create a/p invoice based on a grpo and the posting date and due date is 06/01/08 (which is sunday) the system throws following prompt" 06/01/08 is defined as non- working time? continue. yes,no.". The calender defined for the company in the system is of yr 2006 and weekend as saturday to sunday.
-"Valid for one yr only" box is selected
-"Ignore weekends for payments" is NOT selected
Also system never threw this msg when i created a po and grpo.
please let me know why the system has thrown this prompt.

    Hi Kapil,
The solution to this problem lies in the fact that you must have mentioned the Payment Date in the BP master data for the vendor......this window is appearing in the Payment Terms Tab in the BP master Data below Holidays.
Use the window to define the days each month in which your customer usually pays the open invoices, or the days each month that your company pays its vendors.
    Example
When 10 and 20 are defined in the Payment Dates window for a certain customer, the invoice due dates are calculated as follows:
    ·        If the posting date is between the 1st and the 10th of a certain month the due date of the invoice is the 10th of that same month.
    ·        If the posting date is between the 10th and the 20th of a certain month the due date of the invoice is the 20th of that same month.
    ·        If the posting date is after the 21st of a certain month the due date of the invoice will be the 10th of the next month
Hope this helps.....reward points if helpful

  • Is LION OS working well for all you?

Is LION OS working  well for all you? never thought it could be such a problem, it's the fisrt time it happens to me with an Apple product!. problems with safari, aperture, iphoto, opening/closing windows, right now is so close in performance to all windows versions than Apple high quality products at the level that all we have been expected with the release of Lion. Really dissappointed, and just hope that Apple tech suppor team solves this situation with a new sofware update.

For most yes, For me definitely yes. I upgraded over SL, used it for a week  or more. Then updated my daughter's i5 MBP. that went well and she is happy. Then I updated my wife's MB Air. now THAT should tell you the confidence I have built in Lion. !!!

  • Adjust Date and time for all Photos in an event?

Would some one tell me how to adjust the date and time for all photos in an event. For some reason when I change the date, it only changes the first photo in the event and I am left with a range of dates in the event, but I would rather they all have the same date in the event. Any thoughts or ideas?

How are you selecting the photos and changing them? How much of a change are you trying to make? A total change of date and time or just a delta change either plus or minus?
Using the Photos->Adjust Date and Time... menu option will apply the time/date difference to all of the photos in the Event if you click on the Event icon in the Photos mode or the Event mode.

  • Need working days for all months in a given year

    Hi,
I need no of working days for all the months in a given year.
(i.e year is the input and the query should return 12 columns(jan-dec). Saturday and Sunday are holidays)
    Regards,

    Maybe you can use this:
    break on month skip 1
    set linesize 200
    set pagesize 2000
    column month format a20
    column week format a4
with req as (select '&Required_Year_YYYY' as yr from dual)
,offset as (select case when to_char(trunc(to_date(yr,'YYYY'),'YYYY'),'IW') in ('52','53') then 1 else 0 end as offset from req)
select lpad( Month, 20-(20-length(month))/2 ) month,
'('||week||')' as week, "Mo", "Tu", "We", "Th", "Fr", "Sa", "Su"

           when to_char(dt, 'mm') = '01' and to_char(dt,'iw') in ('52','53') then '1'
           else to_char(to_number(to_char(dt,'iw'))+offset) end as week,

  • SLR - transaction response time for all appl. servers together

    Hi,
we want to have in SLR response time for defined transaction. We have activated necessary steps for monitoring transactions, started CPH and we can see in SLR average response times.
We have several application servers and we want to have in SLR TOTAL response time for all appl. servers together.
Is it possible? What is necessary steps to do it?
    Thanks for all hints.
    Regards,
    Roman

    Hi Andreas,
Another way to approach this would be to use CCMS transaction monitoring by maintaining table ALTRAMONI (in the satellite system) as described here: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/b3/468e3b093d4031e10000000a11402f/content.htm
In RZ20 you'll be able to see the last 24 hours of performance data in a 1-hour granularity, as well as the last 30 minutes in a higher granularity.  Depending on your requirements you can then configure alerting so that you get an email when performance passes a certain threshold.
