DISQUS BUG COMES WHEN USING SCROLL EFFECTS ON PHONE LAYOUT

There are two bugs i have discovered when applying the disqus html code on a phone layout
1. if you have FIXED an item say above where you place the html code snippet from disqus - the widget loads ok BUT when you try to enter it the scroll goes crazy and it doesn't work - to the best of my knowledge changing LAYERS and putting the DISQUS code on one layer alone doesn't solve anything
2. Adobe muse somehow picks p the DESKTOP version of DISQUS instead of the MOBILE LAYOUT version as you see on most websites - this is really annoying even putting the code from disqus to enable mobile in the header does nothing for me

I would be most thankful is someone can show me a solution or even at this stage another comments site that can play nice with adobe muse - i am totally at a loss
i need the phone layout to work as it is primarily a web app I'm making -
yes disqus loads ok on the desktop layout the scroll effects doesn't bother it - it is just on a phone layout things get crazy - if someone has managed to do a mobile website with a fixed scroll effects item above a disqus widget i would be so interested to look at it.

The fix for the bug 4690946(http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4690946.html) was integrated only in jdk 1.5

Brightness change in other elements while using Scroll Effects on another

I am using Scroll Effects on a short piece (two words) of text. The scroll effect takes place on the LEFT hand side of my page. When rendered to a browser, on the opposite side of the page, two text blocks out of five, which are situated vertically down the RIGHT side of the page start out dimmed at approx. 50% of their natural brightness. As you scroll down the page, activating the scroll effect on the LEFT side, these two text blocks brighten back up to normal at exactly the point where the "scroll effect text" lands in it's final position. In other words, it's as if you dimmed the "lights" on some of the text on the opposite side of scroll effect, until you scroll down. Then it's "lights on!" It's a cool effect if I could figure out what is doing it, but as it is, it's screwing up the look of my page when it opens.
All I can come up with is 'Website-Poltergeist'. Any help or suggestions would be fabulous, PLUS, if this could be controlled, it would be an interesting feature on a page where some element that you want to Pop out as someone scrolled could be accomplished with this 50% brightness. If I can solve this, I'll post the how and why as a "hidden effect" in Muse.

Make sure "Opacity" is not marked in the "Scroll Effects" panel.

SDK-21272 - Lines with gradient (LinearGradientStroke) draw as solid color if perfectly vertical / horizontal
StrokedElement was not taking the stroke weight into account when passing the bounds to the stroke. The gradient strokes rely on the bounds to help them transform the gradient to fit the shape of the stroke.
SDK-21274 - Line with gradient stroke does not draw properly
This bug occurs when the Line has a non-zero x and/or y values and is sharing a DisplayObject. StrokedElement was passing the stroke the measuredX and measuredY position as part of the bounds. Instead, I've changed it to pass in drawX + measuredX and drawY + measuredY which accounts for the drawing offset position.

This bug figures out also when creating a custom spark ComboBox, then trying to programatically update the userProposedSelectedIndex property. The proposed selected index is selected, but does not apply the same skin as when mouse is on rollover or item is selected due to up and down keys.
The issue seems like updating the status of the item renderer to rollover or selected to get the same skin applied.

Strange LAV applications open in mass when using after effects? + other

Hey guys, when i use after effect tones of little LAV Splitters and Decoders open;
How do i get rid of this and what does it affect?
OTHER: also sometimes i when i play back clips in after effect, the clips jumps 5 frames forward then 5 frames back randomly, really anoying and all compostion and clips are 29.97 fps :/ (this usally occurs after , after effects has been opened for a while and move of these LAV icons appear? coinsidence?)

-I have been editng for around 5 hours and when i RAM preview my clips the fps jumps back and forth and very unfluid (after having told after effects that the file is 29.97fps and not 25fps) I was thinking this might occure with all the LAV things opening when using after effects..
- yes quicktime is installed 7.6.2
- other software running: google chrome
-Twixtor effects installed
- not using openGL
-The problem only occures when i RAM preview, i tried rendering and the clips was fine, but i cant edit with constant fps jumps backwards and forwards.
VIDEO EXAMPLE:
in preview RAM as it goes up the stairs and around the corner it jumps a lot of frame for some reason, i also showed the orignal clip just to show that it is smooth.

I tried to give you this solution before, but maybe you missed it. This simple procedure will mask out all the various sponge edge-artifacts. Here it is in simple steps:
1. Make the path shape you want to apply the sponge effect to.
2. Highlight that path, and select Object > Path > Offset path ... choose +2 points (or whatever works for your drawing scale, to ultimately eliminate the outside line and the artifacts) -- this will make a slightly larger shape, based on the original shape.
3. Cut the outside path (command or alt-X), select the inside path, and paste the outer path BEHIND the inner path (command or alt-B).
4. Apply the sponge effect to the OUTER path.
5. Highlight BOTH paths, and create a MASK (command or alt-7).
Now you have your original shape, with sponge applied, and the outer 2 points (or whatever your Offset Path was set to), are masked out, masking out the outside line and the sponge artifacts.
This works with any Document Raster Effect Settings dpi.

Popup (hyperlink) closes when using scroll bar

Robohelp (RH8). The popup (hyperlink) closes when I use the scroll bar. However, if I use the mouse wheel to scroll the popup does not close. I am sure this is normal behavior however I would like it the stay open when using the scroll bar. Is there a way to do this?

Hi pajamaham and welcome to the RH community.
To be honest I don't think you can do this with the method you are using. Popups were never designed to work that way. Perhaps a workaround would be to display the popup information in a new window. Not exactly elegant but it would do what you want.

CS6 Non-responsive when using Light effect filter in Photoshop

Win 7 OS. I am trying to use the light effect filter and when I select it photoshop gets locked up and won't respond until I end task in task manager (it says photoshop not responding in task manager). Is there a fix for this? I did all of my updates and it still happens. I have homework to do, I need to fix this issue. Any help is appreciated,

Every time I try and use lighting effect, on my Win 7, CS6 it crashes. I at least get to use it, but when I click "ok" for the changes to take place, "Adobe has stopped working" and just crashes.
I looked into my Graphics Card drivers update... (AMD RADEON hd 6450) and on the site, I chose a very new update for a catalyst... blah blah. Which gave me this new control panel specific with this new driver update. However, once I downloaded it, restarted (for s & g's) it doesn't show up in my graphics card properties... its the same driver as before. So this may not have anything to do with what help I need. Although, it has a new "control center" that I looked at and its all martian to me.
Someone please help me to resolve this issue??!! I can give more information if needed.

Lag when using animated effect

I have a little problem with my ADOBE AFTER EFFECT CC Version 13.2.0.49
When i use animated effect like Rainfall or Twitch from VideoCopilot my After Effect get har lags !

Dark spot on screen when using rear camera and phone shutting down randomly at 20% power

I probably already know the answer to my question but my nearest apple store is 2hrs drive away so just want to know has anyone experienced the same issues and if so what was their resolution?
I noticed last week when i went to use the camera that the phone randomly shut off even though I had near 20% batter power, it then would not switch on again without me plugging it in to charge. I am always careful with charging and discharging the battery, ive done resets and a restore but the issue is still there snd today i noticed the dark spot on the screen and subsequently on the photo when using the rear camera - its definitely not there when using the front facing camera.
If i go to the apple store will they swap it out (still plenty of warranty)? I cant do it by post as I need my phone at all times and dont have a cc to do the express service return!!!

I've had this same problem. I called apple about it and they said that it seems to be a current problem with a lot of peoples phone. The only question that I have, if anyone can answer, is that Apple is supposed to send me a new phone to replace mine but I am wondering if it will be the 3G or the old model, which is what I already have. BUG? when Using SCVMM 2012 R2 SP1 RU2 to move a vm and change vlan setting,vlan setting on hyper-v was not changed

1. when i use scvmm 2012 r2 sp1 ru2 to move a vm to another host(with no vlan trunk ) and change vlan 2 to vlan disabled. the network of vm was lost,when i check the network property on hyper-v management console ,i saw the vlan still the original setting,
but when i check the network propery on scvmm ,the vlan setting shows disabled,then i refresh the vm on scvmm console,the vlan setting shows vlan 2.

XFCE's mixer plugin stops at 90% when using scroll wheel over icon

Yeah, title says it. By putting the cursor over the icon and using the scroll wheel, the volume goes up to 90%. But when I open the mixer and drag the master slider, it goes to 100%. How do I fix this?

Had the same Problem, was really annoying me. Probably a baaad baad bad workaround:

I've been searching for a while for the real problem, but I'm no programmer. Looks as if somewhere someone perhaps startet counting at 1% instead of 0% or something, but I've got no idea where.
(useless EDIT: Seems as if someone already fixed it in the newest version available in ABS since I changed it on my machine. Wait, trying...
EDIT: Nope, still only works up to 90% in current ABS version I think - might have just forgotten to re-extract the source of the panel after update. Redoing the "bad fix" got it to 100% again though.)

Is there a way to force GPU acceleration when using After Effects template project?

I am using the template feature in after effects to create most of my text in a timeline, for about five minutes of text I am sitting on a half hour render. There are two Quadro K4000 GPUs that are spiking at around 8%. Does any one know of a way to force premiere to utilize the GPUs more fully?

If the After Effects comp is in the timeline, Premiere Pro does the render. At least that's what I'm seeing. Even if the comp is first rendered in After Effects, putting it in the Pr timeline gives the red line. I don't know why you are seeing such long render times just for text -- seems odd. I tried it for a five-minute text comp on Win 7 and it took about 15 seconds, and only used the CPU.
I remembered seeing a way to tweak the nvidia card to use it more efficiently. Never tried it but here is the link in case you want to explore. The Quadro K4000 is on the list there. Let us know if it helps at all.

Resolution drops when using type effect over image

Using a type effect over an image causes the resolution to drop below acceptable levels (211 dpi). The client has used a glow effect around text to knock back the image for better legibility. The image is 300 dpi, the text box is transparent with an outer glow effect. I matched the effect with a drop shadow using white but the problem still happens. I've increased the resolution of the image to 600 dpi, same problem. My transparency flattener presets: Raster / Vector Balance 100, Line art and text resolution 2400ppi, Gradient and mesh resolution 400ppi. Downsampling for PDF export is off. Printing postscript doesn't solve the problem. I've solved the issue by recreating the effect in Photoshop and turning the effect in InDesign off. This is in CS6, but I've opened the file in CC 2014 and have the same problem. Anyone have a solution?

The problem is within the digital file that's exported or postscripted to our PDF workflow. Preflighting in InDesign indicates no problems but the exported PDF in Acrobat shows the problem. Prinergy and Printready both fail the refine as our lowest acceptable limit is 280dpi. The PDF looks fine, the problem will be when the (offshore) printer preflights the PDF and sees the resolution problem. The issue is with the InDesign effect reducing the resolution - only in the area under the text box. All the images, text etc are CMYK. If I turn off the effect the PDF is all good.
