Do child schema element inherit namespaces of parent?

I have following declaration in my BPEL's wsdl file -
<xs:element name="iamcomplex" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
<xs:complexType>
<xs:sequence>
<xs:element name="complexpartone" type="xs:string" />
<xs:element name="complexparttwo" type="xs:string" />
</xs:sequence>
</xs:complexType>
</xs:element>
On validating my BPEL in eclipse designer, I get following error for complexpartone and complexparttwo
[bpelc] [Error] ServiceFlow.wsdl:27:61: s4s-att-invalid-value: Invalid attribute value for 'type' in element 'element'. Recorded reason: UndeclaredPrefix: Cannot resolve 'xs:string' as a QName: the prefix 'xs' is not declared.
[bpelc] [Error] ServiceFlow.wsdl:28:61: s4s-att-invalid-value: Invalid attribute value for 'type' in element 'element'. Recorded reason: UndeclaredPrefix: Cannot resolve 'xs:string' as a QName: the prefix 'xs' is not declared.
My understanding was that both these elements will inherit xmlns:xs declaration on element 'iamcomplex'. Isn't that case? Am I supposed to declare it for each child?

Hi,
The project hierarchy is data is available in PRHI table.
PRHI'S' is for standard structures. S stands for standard.
PRHI is for operative structure.
If you want to know the WBSE immediately under a WBSE say A. Then go to PRHI table enter A in POSNR field. The WBSE under it will be available in PRHI-DOWN field.
If u have more than one WBSEs under A and you are looking to get all of them. Then u may have to rite a Z function module. Logic can be as under.
Assume WBS structure is as below
Level 1 = A
Level 2 = B,C,D.
When u give A as input u want BCD as output.
Then
Take input as 'A'.
1) Go to PRHI and enter A in POSNR. Collect PRHI-DOWN and Store.
2) Again go to PRHI and enter PRHI-DOWN (collected above) in POSNR. Collect PRHI-RIGHT and Store.
3) Again go to PRHI and enter PRHI-RIGHT (Collected above) in POSNR. Colect PRHI-RIGHT and Store.
4) Repeat step 3. untill PRHI-RIGHT = Initial or Zero.
This Function module will give u all the WBSEs assigned in immediate one level less than the input WBSE.
Please post ur findings after u try this.
Thanks
Saikishore Ganga.

  • BAPI for finding child WBS elements under a Parent WBS element

    Hi friends,
    I am working on the transaction ZIOS02 transaction. On releasing the Parent or Main WBS element in ZIOS02 transaction I need to copy some data from ZIOS to PRPS based on WBS element.
    I have a Bapi for retrieving all the WBS elements based on Project Definition (BAPI_PROJECT_GETINFO) but i want to know whether is there any BAPI for finding the child WBS elements when we give a Parent WBS elemnts as Input to BAPI.
    Could any one please help me in the query ASAP.

    Hi friends,
    I have got the answer for finding the child WBS elements.
    In Function module BAPI_Project_get_info.
    Use parameter subtree = 'X' and give the WBS element name in tables section under I_wbs_element. You will get all the child WBS elements which are under Main WBS element.

  • Validating a XMLdoc against schema with multiply namespaces

    Does anybody know how to validate xmldoc against schema with multiply namespaces?
    I'd appreciate any advice on how I should perform this operation.
    I used an example from OTN "Building Server-Side XML Schema Validation" which works fine
    for single xml-xsd validation only.
    I use 8.1.7.4 oracle version with XML SDK installed.
    The error I am getting is
    0RA-29532: Java call terminated by uncaught Java exception: oracle.xml.parser.schema.XSDException: no protocol: NAME1.xsd
    ORA-06512: at sys.schemavalidation, line 0

    In the past, ColdFusion's XML validation mechanism seems to have had issues with schemas that contain imports, e.g., http://forums.adobe.com/message/155906. Have these issues still not been resolved?
    Do you not think that perhaps you're answering your own question here?
    I don't see an issue about this on the bug tracker.  It might be an idea if you can get a simple, stand-alone repro case together and raise an issue (and post the reference back here and against that other thread so people know to vote for it).  If you post the repro case here too, it would be helpful.

  • Getting error while creating the variable of Schema Element type

    Hi everybody,
    For creating a variable of schema element type I am doing the following steps...
    Select 'Variables' after right clicking on bpel process. IN this window, go to 'Create VAriable' then select 'Element' type. Now in Type Choose, I expanded the my imported schema files. And selected a element type, then click ok to create this variable... I am getting the message...
    IN ORDER TO SAVE IMPORTED WSDL/SCHEMA FILES, YOU MUST HAVE A PARTNER LINK LOCATED UNDER THE CURRENT PROJECT DIRECTORY.
    What is mean by that.
    I have imported the schema files in project. AFter that I have imported them into the WSDL also. Now why I am getting error while creating the variable. However I can create variable directly in .BPEL file then everything is fine. And it is working also. But what is mean with the above error? Why I am not able to create variable through GUI?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    I have this same problem this morning, and I was going crazy, until I found this webpage on the internet:
    [http://technology.amis.nl/blog/1803/problem-importing-xml-schema-in-bpel-process|http://technology.amis.nl/blog/1803/problem-importing-xml-schema-in-bpel-process]
    The idea is that the jdeveloper is not very good working with directories with spaces on the directory name. If you move all your work to a directory without spaces, it will work smoothly. At least, it had worked for me.

    Nacho

  • ERROR: MyService.jws:715:There are two or more operations with the same schema-element 'ns0:MyNameSpace' on the input message in a web service file or callback interface.

    I have two web service operations that have the same complex type as their input
    parameter. I want to map this type to an existing schema. I can successfully
    do this with the first operation using XQuery but when I attempt to do this with
    the second operation I get the following error:

    How can I use different schema-element values? The input parameters are to be

    I am having the same problem. How did you resolve this..?? could you please tell me the solution??

  • Failed to retrieve a schema URI (document namespace) for /userprofiles/emailNotification.usr; please see the following exception for details

    I get this exception (and long stack trace) when attempting to start my weblogic server. I'm running Weblogic 7 with Portal 7 (sp 1). I'm using Oracle 8.1.7. I upgraded this application from weblogic portal 4.0, and never had this problem there. As part of the migration process, I ran the tool to migrate all of the database tables, and I re-synched the EBCC project using version 7 of EBCC. I did a search for this problem and found a few mentions of it that seemed to be related to Oracle's handling of CLOB data. Apparently, there is a patch, but I can't seem to find this patch. I'm also not sure if this is indeed the problem since I didn't have this issue with the older version of weblogic using the same database. Any suggestions?

    If you have a support contract please open a case so we can work through
    this problem.
    Can you run an sqlplus session on your database, execute the commands
    "delete from data_sync_item" and "commit", then resync to see if it will
    get you around the problem. The data_sync_item table will be fully
    populated after you sync. This should get you running.
    Between 4.0 and 7.0 the DefaultRequestPropertySet.req file was reduced
    in size -- the CLOB would be smaller in the data_sync_item table.
    I would recommend using the Version Checker against your installation --
    find it on the dev2dev.bea.com site to see if the upgrade installer work
    ed properly. Also consider running the full installer to avoid possible
    problems that might occur with upgrade installers.
    As a result of that patch you referenced in 4.0 the CLOB handling logic
    was changed in 7.0 -- this is why it is strange you are seeing cleaving
    errors. In 7.0 SP2 to be release next week the data sync and
    persistence code was changed also.
    Are you using the OCI or Thin driver?

    Are you using a UTF-8 Oracle database?
    Yes
    If you create a new User Profile in the EBCC and compare it to your
    migrated .usr file do you see differences in the DTD's?
    I recreated a new version of the .usr in the EBCC, and still got the same error.
    I also tried deleting everything from the data-sync-item table and re-synching.

  • Inherit Permissions from parent

    If I were to use Inherit permissions from parent instead of standard POSIX on a share, what happens
    when you propergate permissions? Do permissions that you explicitly set get changed by the parent folder?
    Are there any issues I should be aware of before trying Inheritted permissions?
    The reason I want to change is because I have folders on my RAID that for instance hold raw un-touched images, whoever saves the files into this folder becomes the owner and everyone is read only, which is no good if someone else wants to make changes and save over the image, I have ACL set to try and overcome this, but Photoshop doesn't respect ACL and just goes by the POSIX permissions. Which means users are having to save to desktop and the drop the file in the raw image folder to replace it - which is ok but not perfect.
    If I were using Inherit permissions and set the raw folder to everyone read and write, then in theory any files added into the folder would be read and write for everyone, is this correct? if so, what would happen to the permissions when a second user edits the image and re-saves it, is it still inheritting the read write permissions?
    Hope this makes sense and i'm not rambling too much, but with 3Tb of files on the RAID I can't afford to experiment and screw up the permissions on the existing files else I'll be killed by 10 angry designers!

    Did you ever find an answer to this? I'm having the same problem and wondering if it's simply a 10.5 server glitch. You shouldn't have to use ACL to get around it and as far as I know, if you set POSIX to inherit permissions from parents, that's exactly what should happen. But it doesn't for me either. Whoever creates a folder on our RAID becomes the new owner and staff is read-only.

  • Child window of application appears behind parent.

    I have configured SSGD 4.4 and after logging in and launching a third party application the first child window appears on top of parent but all subsequent windows will appear behind parent. Is there a configuration setting to force all child windows to appear on top of parent windows?

    thank you very much for your reply.
    my sgd's application is runned in seamless window mode.
    and if Run My application in an Independent Window or started via a standard RDP connection, the problem cannot be seen again. it seems to just happened in seamless windows.
    My application is a website(jsp,javabean etc) installed in Application server . and I use Application server's IE to open it via sgd for some reasons.

  • How to find parent wbs element from child wbs element

    Hi ,
            I have a WBS element . How to find its parent WBS element . What should be the logic and table fields should i consider ? Please help me , its urgent.

    You can use the BAPI_PROJECT_GETINFO function module to get this info.
    The function is very well documented, and it looks like the table E_WBS_HIERARCHIE_TABLE should have the WBS heirarchy in it.
    Hope this helps.

  • Mapping problem of Child Node elements as per Parent Node conditions

    Hi,
    I have an IDOC to SOAP scenario,I have to map the following fields of IDOC,
    E1EDPT1 (0..999..)
    _TDID (0..1)
    _ E1EDPT2 (0..999..)
    _  TDLINE (0..1)
    Whenever I have the element TDID = Z011, I have to map the element TDLINE to the target Message Type AVL_QTY , which is as below (any one)
    ITEM_TEXTS (0..unbounded)
    _ ITEM_TEXT (0..unbounded)
                   |_  AVL_QTY (0..1)
    I have done a graphical mapping where the Node ITEM_TEXTS is created only if the above condition is met, ITEM_TEXT and AVL_QTY are mapped directly to E1EDPT2 and TDLINE.
    This works for only one item, it fails for multiple.
    Please suggest a solution...
    Thanks and Regards,
    Rohit.

    Hello,
    Thanks for the above suggestion!
    But still the problem exits.
    I have currently mapped the field in such a way that it gives proper solution but every item i.e. E1EDP01 segment must have an E1EDPT1 segment with element TDID = Z011.
    Mapping in Text View looks like below:
    /ns0:MT_CONTRACT_DOWNLOAD_MOnline/CONTRACT_ITEM/AVL_QT=addCorresponding(removeContexts(index(ifWithoutElse(stringEquals(/ORDERS05/IDOC/E1EDP01/E1EDPT1/TDID, const(value=Z011)), /ORDERS05/IDOC/E1EDP01/E1EDPT1/E1EDPT2/TDLINE, keepss=false), start=1, inc=1, type=0, result)), removeContexts(ifWithoutElse(stringEquals(/ORDERS05/IDOC/E1EDP01/E1EDPT1/TDID, const(value=Z011)), /ORDERS05/IDOC/E1EDP01/E1EDPT1/E1EDPT2/TDLINE, keepss=false)), result)
    UDF for addCorresponding method:
    int flg=0;
    for (int i=0; i<indexes.length; i++)
        if(! indexes<i>.equals("1"))
                   result.addValue(tdTexts<i>);
         else
              if(flg == 0)
                        result.addValue(tdTexts<i>);
                        flg = 1;
              else
                             result.addContextChange();
                             result.addValue(tdTexts<i>);
    Suppose if there are 3 items, the above condition is met in 1st and 3rd item, and if the 2nd item has TDID = Z008, then in the output i get three item values with the TDLINE values in the first two items itself, it doesnt recognise that 2nd item hasnt matched the condition.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Rohit.

  • Determine the immediate child WBS element of a WBS element

    Hi,
    I would like to know how to determine on how to know all the immediate childs of 1 parent (example: how can i kno all level 3 elements under level 2 b?)  The usage of PRPS-STUFE is not enough since it only indicates levels.  I also noticed we do not have entries in PRHIS table, is it because of we are not using the standard WBS?
    Level 1
         Level 2 a
         Level 2 b
              Level 3 a (of level 2 b)
              Level 3 a (of level 2 b)
         Level 2 c
              Level 3 a (of level 2 c)
    Thanks!
    Regards,
    Vivian

    Hi,
    The project hierarchy is data is available in PRHI table.

  • GetElementsByTagName returns namespace of parent node?

    So, is this expected behaviour?
    I have the case were we have a parent node that is basically an XSD:anyType. We then store XML fragments under this node. However, when searching and retrieving various fragments using getEelementsByTagName that do not have a namespace associated with them, the namespace of the parent is associated to the returned element?
    Is there anyway to suppress this or is there a better way to search and retrieve particular nodes?
    I am using the XDK shipped with JDeveloper 10.1.3.1.
    Thanks,
    BradW

    So, there is no default namespace specified. Here is the content of the XML:
    <payload xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpel/workflow/task">
    <Location>kalwona</Location>
    <ns1:VacationRequestProcessRequest xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/VacationRequest">
    <ns1:location>kalwona</ns1:location>
    <ns1:creator>jstein</ns1:creator>
    <ns1:fromDate/>
    <ns1:toDate/>
    <ns1:reasons>
    <ns1:who/>
    <ns1:what/>
    <ns1:when/>
    </ns1:reasons>
    </ns1:VacationRequestProcessRequest>
    <Errors xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/VacationRequest"/>
    </payload>
    So, when grabbing a node with no namespace, it defaults to the parent nodes namespace. I have been able to rename the node with a different namespace, but it just makes things more complicated. Would be nice to get a plain node / fragment of an XML document.
    Here is the code I am using to grab the node:
    DOMParser parser = new DOMParser();
    java.io.File file =
    new java.io.File("C:\\payloadtest.xml");
    XMLDocument doc;
    InputStream is = new FileInputStream(file);
    parser.setDebugMode(true);
    parser.parse(is);
    doc = parser.getDocument();
    NodeList list = doc.getElementsByTagName("Location");
    Element element = (Element)list.item(0);
    System.out.println(xmlutils.elementToXMLString(element));
    The output I get from this is:
    <Location xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpel/workflow/task">kalwona</Location>
    The elementToXMLString just uses the XMLPrintDriver.
    So, I am kind of hoping I can copy a node with no associated namespace information related to it. Kind of like just leaving it alone if there is no namespace specified in the actual document. Any ideas on how to do this???
    Thanks,
    BradW
