Do I still need to pay full amount of family plan payment during suspending one of member's line?

I am currently in family plan with two other lines.
Our monthly access charge is $129.96.
Now, one of members will go to Asia for three months and want to suspend her line.
My question is, will we still need to pay full amount of monthly access charges during one of lines is suspended for three months? Or Can we get discounted?
Thank u so much for your help!

Good afternoon!  Thank you vereyezuhn for your responses!  That is correct that you have the option to suspend with or without billing, and you contract, as well as your upgrade eligibility may be extended.
A few things to clarify...
If you suspend via My Verizon or the IVR, (Interactive Voice Response), you will not be charged the $15.00 processing fee.
If you go into a store or call Customer Service for your service to be suspended, you will be charged a $15.00 processing fee, whether you suspend with out without billing.
If you suspend with billing, your usage and allowance will not be prorated, your contract end date and upgrade date will not be extended.
If you suspend without billing, all of your features will be suspended and not be charged, your usage and allowance will be prorated when suspended and restored.  Your contract end date, upgrade eligibility, (and security deposit) will be extended by the amount of time the account is suspended without billing.
As vereyezuhn mentioned, your line can be suspended up to 90 days.
I trust this information is helpful.
Thank you,

  • Do I still need to pay?

    Dear BT forums,
I just purchased an upgrade to Infinity Option 2 because I went over my allowance a lot last month. My new service will start on the 10th. Will I still need to pay for the internet I have used before my service is activated (including going over my allowance)?
    Thanks a lot,
    Kai

Actually it depends on exactly what you mean. If you are referring to the November excess, geo is right and you will still have to pay for it. If you mean what you've already used in December, that won't be charged separately and will be included in the December total, which of course should be unlimited.

  • I was an Exchange student in the USA and I had a American Credit card. It expired, now back in the Netherlands I found out I still need to pay some bills. But I can't change credit cards, cause I'm not in the USA anymore

Yeah, so I had a American credit card from bank of America, and I closed my bank account before I left the country.
When I came home I found out I still need to pay like $2.00 but I can't change the country cause I need to pay my bill first,
but I can't because I don't own a American credit card anymore... what do I do??

Contact a friend in the USA and have them mail to you a cheap US iTunes Gift Card that you can redeem in your US account. Or, if a friend has an iTunes account, they can use the iTunes app on a Mac or PC to buy a cheap electronic gift certificate for you. The second option would be faster.

  • So I preordered a album on iTunes and it was priced at 9.99 and when I preordered it bought the two available songs for down load in that album do I still need to pay the 9.99 or will I pay less since it bought the two song when I preordered

If the two tracks have been released early then you will only be charged for the remainder when the actual album is released i.e. $9.99 minus the cost of those two tracks.

Some pre-orders include songs that are available for download immediately. When you pre-order, you will be charged only for these songs and you will receive them immediately.

  • Repair help. I have warranty, do I still need to pay? Please have a look !

Why do I need to pay when I'm under warranty.
    Detailed Quote
There is a non-return penalty of £ 109.79 for this part
Yes, I agree to pay £ 109.79 if Apple does not receive my defective product within ten (10) business days of shipping the replacement product to me.

I currently have warranty until FEB 1ST 2010. My ipod is stuck on the apple logo, and yes before you ask I have been into diagnostic mode here and then for the past month, resetting, checking every single page on it to no avail.
And before you ask, I have been into disk mode, reset, left it, sync and still stuck on that apple logo.
My computer only recognizes the ipod in disk mode and there when it finishes, I have to select and menu it and then it goes back to the apple logo. Nothing will work.
I'm only a poor student, will they still charge me for my ipod nano 4th generation even though I still have warranty. It's not fair, I don't have the time to be taken off 109 quid!

Judging by what you've posted here I think what Apple are saying is that if you don't return the defective iPod within 10 days of them sending out a replacement to you, you will be charged that amount.
A few years ago now Apple introduced this policy to prevent unscrupulous people trying to claim a second iPod under warranty when there was nothing wrong with the first.

  • Still need to do full backup after using data guard?

In our system, there is a physical standby database in data guard configuration. Is there still a need to do full backup and incremental backup?

May be you can perform failover of your standby, in case there is no availability on primary database. Then do you think the standby system stability is same as primary and can give same performance?
standby location can be too far and this is only if in case of disaster.
Another case, lets suppose your standby is behind than primary for 4-5 days due to some issues. At the same time your production crashed then you may have chance to loose 4-5 days fo data. So recommended to have full backup always from primary database.
If you are checking stability of standby database daily and able to check your data by opening properly and you wont prefer to RMAN backup, Then it is fine. But it is highly recommended to have RMAN backup.
BTW, You can have RMAN full backup on standby, if you want to avoid resources to use on primary

  • Why I still need to pay for the apps which I purchased when I downloaded in my 2nd iPad? For example the flashcards, I need to pay again for the additional games... Please help.

I have paid for the additional games in my first iPad, when I download it again from purchased history, and execute it, it prompt me a request payment dialog. The truth is, I have paid it previously? Is it a normal for this kind off apps which is lite (free), and paid for upgrade would not have the previlage  for second device?

    Hi John,
I agree with you, I downloaded it using the same apple id, and it is free even though for the first time downloading. We need to pay when we wanted to buy additional game/flash cards, but for my ipad2, when i select the one I have been purchased before for the additional cards, it prompt request payment... I am doubtful whether it will charge or not.....

  • Need to move 1 (out 3) family plan lines to an individual plan and keep employer discount intact

I've tried to find this answer via search but it seems everyone's scenario is a bit different, so I'm asking here in hope's a kind soul can give me a good answer in hopes I can accomplish this without having to go into a store.
We have a 3 line family plan currently that is being discounted via my employer. I'm getting a divorce, which means I need to break out my phone line separately and no longer be a part of that family plan (she'll continue to pay for her line and the 2nd line). Issues I'm curious on:
I want to keep my number. Can I?
Will the current family plan continue to get the discount? Will I also be eligible to keep my employer's discount on a new single line plan?
Will we be in violation of contract and have to pay ETFs if I move my line to this separate billable solution?
Any other unforeseen issues with trying to do this? I need to be 100% separated from this current account and assured I will have service, etc. if she suddenly wants to cancel her service, move carriers, etc.
Thanks very, very much for trying to help me in this chaotic time.

    Assumption of Liability
Sounds like you are the account owner. It would be best to do the Assumption of Liability process to split off the other two lines into a new account under your soon to be ex-wife's name. Depending on her credit, she might have to pay a deposit. Once those lines are removed from your account, your line changes to an individual plan. The employee discount should hopefully remain, but the amount discounted might go down. If the discount doesn't stay, you can always reapply for the discount to be added to your line as the account owner.

  • Double charge full month of Family Plan which only used for 7 days  and full month of individual plan

I changed from Family Plan to Individual Plan and I got only refund back $9.99 for one line that stay with Verizon but I got charged double both Family Plan and Individual Plan for full month without any credits for 23 days of unused Family Plan. ($120-discount Family Plan + $39.99-discount Individual Plan) per 1 month (from 06/07 to 07/06).
I am asking the credit of unused 23 days of Family Plan back into my account when I changed from Family plan to Individual plan then I got the answer like this which I do not agree at all.
"As the previous rep stated since the numbers were ported out the bill continued to bill until the end of the current bill cycle. This is the reason why there was no credit issued for the first month in advance. Had the numbers not been ported, and instead disconnected, there would have been a refund issued for any unused portion of the service"
I never saw any clause saying that porting numbers would not get credit issued for any unused portion of the month billed in advance.
I expected refund 23 days credit of the Family plan from 06/06 to 07/06 back to my account since the family plan supposed to be disconnected on 06/07 but because of porting time schedule from other carrier so that all 4 lines completely disconnected the service 1 week later which is on 06/13/2012 and only 1 line(my current number) left as individual plan as it planned originally 06/07.
Family Plan with corporate discount: $120-$16 cisco discount/month------> each day is: $104/30 days= $3.46/day
                       23 days unused of Family Plan is : $3.46 x 23= $79.58
I still expect missing credits into my account: $79.58-$9.99= $69.59.
At the least if you want to take away the $16 discount for the last month of Family plan, then you still owe me the refund of ($69.59-$16)= $53.59

You left out the next important sentence ..... If it is your intention to fool all other members, please correct it.
This is the path for the whole thing:"Customer Agreement"
    http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/support/customer-agreement
I am not a Prepaid customer and I will be entitled to a refund of unused charge from an advanced month charge. Any cancellation should honor that..I called the customer representative to ask in advance what happened when I plan to keep only one line and change to individual plan ,she assured me that I will get credits for any unused of Family Plan of the advanced month, the new Individual Plan charge will take over and I would not get double charge at all.
I am the customer with Verizon very long time, more than 5 years and I can not believe that you charged me double like that.
Please return me back my money.
I am NOT trying to fool anyone. As with the sentence you highlighted, if what I highlighted ONLY pertained to prepaid customers, it would have indicated it in the sentence. Since it did not, it DOES NOT. Postpaid customers are NOT mentioned at all within the section about porting numbers. Are you saying since they are not mentioned that postpaid customers CANNOT port their numbers? Didn't think so. The entire paragraph is about ALL Verizon customers EXCEPT the sentence which specifically singles out prepaid customers. You are responsible for all charges until the end of the billing cycle from the point of porting, not from when you asked to be ported. Therefore you are responsible for the charges for the "Family Plan" until the end of the billing cycle.
Unfortunately, you only left ONE phone on the account when you ported out your numbers. Therefore the single line could NOT have been left on a Family Plan, and was therefore migrated to an Individual Plan. AT MOST, you would be entitled to a prorated refund of the $9.99 access fee FOR THAT ONE LINE, since that line was not canceled due to the porting. However, you should ONLY be responsible for Individual Plan charges from the point your single line was migrated until the end of the billing cycle, NOT for an entire month of service. Of course, your bill would show that the following month was being charged, too, since Verizon charges a month in advance.
While Verizon may refund you more money just to placate you, according to the CUSTOMER AGREEMENT, you are not entitled to it.
    Good luck.

Hey there, SaintBreesy09! I'm very sorry to hear of the changes in your personal life. May these adjustments lead to happier days for all involved!
Thanks for reaching out about you account needs. I have answers to all of the questions you've posted!
    1. Yes, you can keep your current number. The way I read your post, the account you have now appears to be in your name. Therefore, you can create a second bill level whereby the bills from the original bill level (account number ending in -00001) would continue to go to the original billing address, while your line goes to the second level (account number ending in -00001). Both bill levels would remain in your name, and you have the option to continue getting your employee discount (can't be confirmed until we see what the terms are for your specific discount agreement). If you don't own the current account, you can move your line to a new or existing account via a process called Assumption of Liability. Details on that are here: http://vz.to/1aqrvX0
    2. Yes, the discount may continue as long as the account ownership doesn't change, and as long as the agreement between Verizon Wireless and the employer remains in effect.
    3. No violation. No ETF. As long as all lines remain with Verizon Wireless, you're golden!
    4. The only possible issues you may encounter are monthly service charges. With all lines sharing the plan now, that's possibly lower than it would be to separate them. It really depends on the plan you have now. I recommend reviewing the plan itself. If you need help with that, you can call Customer Care at 800-922-0204 from 6am to 11pm daily, or I can help you directly.

  • I am a Creative Cloud subscriber, do I still need to pay for FormsCentral too?

I am a happy Creative Cloud subscriber and think the services is great. I just discovered FormsCentral alst night and think it will be perfect for some of my clients' needs. Now do I have to pay extra for this or is an upgrade from the free account on there be included as part of my CreativeCloud subscription? If not, is sure should be...would be a good selling point and make perfect sense.

Randy, thx for the reply. I understand that, but from a marketing perspective it makes no sense. I sold my team on purchasing Creative Cloud because it allows access to the many wonderful things Adobe does at one fixed monthly fee, and now I am going to look stupid going in and saying I was wrong about that.
Question, Can I turn it on and off (the premium plans for FormsCentral) to use it for a specific event or campaign, and then go back to free between campaigns? Or is there a contract involved?

  • Bought an app on my iPhone, do I still need to pay for it again on my macbook?

So I bought iStudiez pro on my iphone and I've synced all my apple id on all my devices. Problem is, I'd like to also have this app on my macbook but when i looked it up on the mac app store, its not available to download for free (because the price tag is displayed) so my question is, is this normal because I was udner the impression that once you buy an app, its available for download on all your devices provided I use a singular apple id.
Any clarification is very much appreciated. Thanks
    -Yasmin

You've been given a false impression.
The iOS devices and the Macs run on two different operating systems. Most developers who develop an app for both operating systems usually charge separately for the apps. An app that you buy for an iOS device, can be downloaded and installed for free on any other iOS device that you own. Any app that you buy for your Mac, can be downloaded and installed for free on any other Mac you may own or have in your control, such as a Mac issued to you by a school or your employer.

Yes, it does. The limited warranty doesn't cover accidental damage such as that.

PES 2012 is no longer available in the US App Store and only on the British App Store currently.

That (an app no longer available) happens sometimes.
Your only way is if you have the appt on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case move it to your iTunes library and sync.
