DO NOT update your alltel plan to Verizon

To put it lightly, Verizon told me to stick where the sun don't shine. I resigned my contract getting new Verizon phone. I have many troubles receiving text from my other family plan phone. Spent over 5 hours on the phone and on hold with so call "customer service". Asked to be transfer to a supervisor and got hung up on. Most recently I tried to add a line to my existing plan. No can do they say, you need to switch to a Verizon plan and spend an extra $50 to get a plan anywhere near your current one. Unfortunately there ain't much I can do but write on this wonderful forum and give anyone out there some incite on what to expect when you deal with the "Nations largest 3G calling network". That is my two cent, I wish I could get a dollar!

    Another easy method will be maintaining MIC as referenced mic. instead of maintaining it as complete copy model you can make it referenced. any changes in the mic can be updated automaticalyin the inspection plan using the referenced functionality.
    The issue being wherever the mic goes will be changed,

  • Preorder with an Alltel Plan

    I have an alltel plan and my experience was the same as I found in a post on another site: http://forum.tipb.com/verizon-iphone-forum/205324-let-me-keep-my-old-alltel-plan.html
    When you go through the pre-order it makes you add in data and texting on top of your alltel plan.  This adds up to a much higher monthly fee.  However, the confirmation email doesn't include the new features added, just the alltel plan, at the same cost it always has been with unlimited data and text still included.
    Based on the notice at the bottom of one of the pages it looks like I will have to call to activate once I recieve the phone:
    "This device requires a selection of a $29.99 or $44.99 data feature to process this order. If you have a certain existing smartphone data feature (e.g. former Alltel customer, 150MB plan or a bundled voice & data plan) you can still activate the phone by calling customer service at 1-800-922-0204 upon receipt of phone & activation, and stay on your existing calling plan."

  • Do not update N95 to v11

    To one and all do not update your nokia n95 to version 11
    i have found that v11 has solved many issues but has also created 2 which are really annoying
    the good
    wlan is more stable
    Gps locks in quicker
    maps seem to be updated(no more 'no results found')
    camera images have been improved the hint of red in photos can only be seen on cpu with zoom
    night mode with flash produce very good photos
    video mode is improved in night mode
    the bad
    Low memory prompt has appeared using web and video
    Camera now takes about 6secs to open and reload to take another photo
    No longer able to open more than one page in web browser

    It's been over one month from the migration of our European datacenter, and the deadline for changing your DNS settings is on August 31st. Failure to change your DNS settings will result in downtime for your websites.
    Updating your DNS
    Sites with DNS hosted on a 3rd party domain registrar (e.g. GoDaddy) must update their DNS records to point to one of the the new data center IP addresses. The legacy data center IP address will be decommissioned on June 20th, at which time if you have not updated your DNS records, your sites and hosted email will no longer function. Please update your 3rd party registrar info to our new IP addresses and create SPF records for each domain - you can use either of the two new IP addresses for your region when changing your DNS records:

    Check if your sites have all been migrated
    Once logged in to your Partner Portal you will notice on the left menu a new entry, called Migration Status. This is where you need to enter to get all your detailed migration information.Once you access the page you will see a list of your sites split by datacenters, and you can check each domain by pressing the "Check" button on it's right.Once you check the domains, you will see an updated page with different color flags. This will allow you to see which domains need your attention and which do not need anything done.The flags also have a description once you hover your mouse cursor over them, but the meaning is as follows:
    A red flag appears when a domain still points to the old datacenters and needs to be updated according to the instructions on the migration website.
    "N / A" will appear when either is a domain that no longer exists, one that has been unreachable to our tools, or that is no longer hosted on BC but has remained so in our system.
    Once you update your DNS and, if needed, your SPF(TXT) records, the page will have a different look yet again.

    Can I get a replacement phone without extending the contract?
     I've read here that I can change to a Verizon phone without changing my old Alltel plan--many thanks to previous posters and answerers for this info!-- and I've been hanging fire on any changes since my original Alltel two-year contract ends in just three months this coming April.   However, now I've broken my phone (old Alltel Motorola) and have to do something.  Hence my question: Can I get a replacement phone without extending the contract?  I don't need anything at all fancy, just for calls.  No smartphone, no texting, no web.  Just calls.

    If you want a short term replacement, you may want to look on Ebay for an Alltel phone. Problem with that is there are too many flavors of Alltel now. So you could get an Alltel phone that VZW would not recognize.  Or pick up an old VZW phone from a friend. Call VZW to make the the ESN is clear.
    As long as you get a simple phone, If you call into *228 or change the ESN online, you should be able to make the change without someone demanding you change plans.

    Well, I am in search for a new phone, and was wondering if i can used one that is flashed to Verizon on a Alltel plan with out having to change my plan to Verizon. Here if you didn't understand, i'm using a Alltel phone with a Alltel plan on the Verizon network, i have not changed the plan because apperently i would have to pay for a data plan or something. Would I be able to use a Verizon phone with out compromising my plan? The phone I plan on getting does not need a data plan for it to run.

    If it is a smartphone you will need a data plan regardless if it is Verizon branded.  You can keep  your Altell plan for the most part.

  • Planning area data not updated in infocube in APO system

    Hi all,
    User is uploading a flat file using addon program to an infocube 1, from this infocube data for  sales forecast KF is getting transferred to a planning area KF using standard program RTS_INPUT_CUBE.  I can see the updated data in Planning book (which refer the same planning area) data views. In planning book the sales forecast data is also getting copyied to second KF 'Arrangement FC' and its correct.
    Now there is a infocube 2 (second) which is getting data directly from this planning area (infocube also contains both KFs). But When i checked this infocube 2 , the updated data is availabe in Sales forecast KF , but arrangement forecast KF is having old data only and user is running query on second KF , so he is getting wrong report.
    Since there is no data flow for this infocube 2, and it is getting data from planning area, I feel its remote infocube.
    I have also found the datasource for this planning area but don't know how to move further to find why data is not updating properly? Please help on this.
    I have information that 2 weeks before data was properly updated, but this time data is not updated,
    system version  is SAP SCM 4.0

    it is advisable to run the background jobs when the planning books are not being accesses by the users to prevent such inconsistencis. Hence i would advise you to run the jobs durng non-working hours. and if you have a global system, then you may restrict to run the jobs based on regional levels.
    in addition, it is also a good practice to run consistency jobs before and after your have completed the background jobs. i hope you are using process chains to execute the sequeuce of jobs. if yes, then you can add consistency check jobs in the process chains.
    some of the consistency check reports are :
    /SAPAPO/OM17 - liveCache Consistency Check
    /SAPAPO/TSCONS - Consistency Check for Time Series Network
    /SAPAPO/CONSCHK - Model Consistency Check
    and so and so forth..
    you can find these conssistency jobs under APO Adiminstration --> Consistency checks in APO.

  • Service Contracts  with billing plan not updating debit memo request in ECC

    For service contracts with billing plan, we cancel the line items and set the user status at header to "cancelled" and also set the cancellation date (under Cancellation Tab) at the header as well as item level which delete all items in the “DMR” in ECC (which are not yet billed). When we do this, it works perfect for most of the time and in some cases DMR items are not updated in ECC and it is billing. When I checked in CRM, the billing plan items are updated based on the cancellation date.

  • Service Plan not Updating

    Team,
    I've created a fairly simple service which creates a service item, calls a CPO process via service link then updates the service item upon completion.
    Only the update isn't working. I can see the updated information in the request form but the service item never gets updated. The plan in the request says that the udpate step is executed but when I check the service item history, it only ever lists a create step.
    Any clues on how to debug this? I don't really want to recreate the entire service from scratch but I really don't know where to start picking at it.

    All service items have a reserved property called "ErrorDescription". You should include this in your service item based dictionary that you are using to create/update the service item. You can hide this on the form when Moment is Ordering and show it when Moment is Service Completed. After a SIT (service item task), this field will contain any error message related to updating the service item. For debugging, you might also want to show the Name field if you are not showing it already.
    Common reasons it would fail:
    1) No Name property was specified when creating the SI
    2) Name property does not match an existing SI for update
    3) One of the properties has an invalid value for the field (wrong type, too long, etc).

    When Individal/coll of MRP4 tab of Raw material is 1 Individual requirement, plan cost is not updating in Tcode IW31 Repair order. It is updating when MRP4 is 2 collective requirement.

    The behavior you are seeing on your system is correct system behavior.                                                                               
    The system rolls costs/revenues up to the assigned wbs element                
    if an order or network activity is flagged for deletion so you                
    can archive orders/networks while the project is still 'alive' without        
    loosing information on costs/revenues.                                        
    The logic is that costs of deleted networks should not get lost but are       
    rolled up to the superior wbs-element.                                                                               
    SAP has the understanding that released activities are used immediately,      
    carry actual costs and, therefore, can not be deleted. To keep the            
    objects clearly arranged the reorganization run can be used to move           
    some objects (those with status DLFL) to the archive without losing           
    data (in the meaning of costs).                                                                               
    If you want to remove these costs of the WBS elements you have                
    to cancel the deletion flag of these networks, remove the planned costs       
    start network costing and save. You can then set the DLFL again and           
    the costs will not appear in the structure report.

  • Plan Price for GR item not updating from mt. master,but taking sum of GI it

    I am using a MTS scenario with 10 strategy. The price in the production order cost analysis view for GR item is not updating with material master price, but it is updating with a sum total price of the materials for GI in the production order. The price control for header GR item is 'S' and for all GI items it is 'V'.
    How to get the price from the material master for the GR item (order header item)?

    Check costing variants assigned for planned and actulas in order types ( u can see costing variants in production with CO03 in control tab).
    Check the valuation variant for which priorities given like std price, average price etc.,
    Please note that while confirming the production order the GR will happened based on the strategy given in valuation variant and it will take from material master.
    I think in your valuation variant "average price" has given higher priority and average price existed in your material master.
    System won't sum up all raw material costs and put it into GR, unless otherwise any user exit given.

    I open Safari, and it works. I open Firefox, and it works and Safari still works. I open Calendar and it works, Safari and Firefox continue to work. I open Reminders, and everything still works.
    I open Aperture, and it opens Finder instead, showing the 3.5 update that was installed two days ago (and Aperture has functioned), but doesn't seem to update the app; after about 20 seconds the update disappears and I can now open Aperture and it shows I'm now opening the updated Aperture, which it didn't show before.
    I click on Mail, and the cursor spins for ten minutes. The mail window finally opens, but the cursor spins and does not connect to upload new mail, and I finally Force Quit Mail. Since the Maverick update, even though Mail was not updated (and maybe because Mail was not updated), I have been able to receive emails twice, and then the program crashed.
    Besides the Aperture app, Pages didn't fully update on the iMac, and I had to remove the old Pages icon from the dock after the new program loaded up from Applications.
    Any ideas?
