  • Elements 9 will not print to my HP Photosmart Premium C410.

Elements 9 will not print to my new printer. When i try I get the "send a fax" page. PS sends the job to the print spool for the fax. When i select the printer in the print page it sometimes tell me it can't print until I install a printer. Only way to change that is to close PSE and then reopen but still no printing. Does anyone have any ideas?

I can't change the name in devices and printers.  I can highlight it but that's all. Is there a trick I don't know of that allows you to change or alter the name?
    Open Devices and Printers.
Right-click on the icon for the printer and select "Printer properties".
Click the "Change Properties" button on the lower left of the dialog.
Enter the Administrator's password when prompted.
On the "General" tab in the next dialog, you can change the name.
From that last dialog, you might want to click the "Preferences" button and see if you can change the default behaviour to print instead of fax.

  • HP Photosmart C5180 Will no longer feed 8x11 Photo paper from main tray

My C5180 all in one will no longer feed 8x11 photo paper from main tray.  Rollers slip and will not pull paper in. Any suggestions?

    Hi @583seve
I see youa re having some difficulty with your Photosmart C5180. The following document addresses both out of paper messages and issues with paper pick; 'Out of Paper' Error Message Displays and the Product Does Not Pick Up or Feed Paper.
If the issue persists, you might consider trying the steps in a paper jam document. Although you may not be experiencing a paper jam, the steps in this document may be all that is left to try; 'Clear paper jam, then press OK' Error Message Displays on the Control Panel.
I hope this helps, but if after all your efforts the issue remains, I suggest calling HP. They may be able to offer you a discount on a newer model as part of a trade in trade up option. If you are in Canada or US call 800 474 6836, or you can Contact HP Worldwide.

  • My hp photosmart premium all in one keeps telling me randomly to remove my usb device.

My HP 309 all in one Photo smart Premium Wireless Printer, gives me a remove your usb device reading .None is attached.
I can reboot it and it goes away ; but returns later.I even connected one and removed it but it did not help.
I also can"t get my auto feeder to work.I took it to Best Buy and he didn't know what to do either.

Hello there! Welcome to the forums @mrsddavis ,
I read your post about the troubles you're having with the printer telling you to "remove a USB device", when you do not have a USB device plugged into the unit. I have a couple suggestions that I hope will help you. You may have tried all of the steps to my first idea, if so move on to the second one. Also, the second step will be in a private message to you, as it cannot be posted publicly.  In regards to the ADF not working, let me know what the problem is, for example, will it pull in paper and then jam, or will it not pull paper in at all? Let me know so I can research that problem for you.

Press the Power button to turn on the product.
With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
    Wait at least 30 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

  • C309a Photosmart Premium All-in-one keeps chiming repeatedly.

Product:  HP Photosmart Premium All-in-one Fax C309a
Lately, whenever we turn the printer on, it chimes repeatedly.  In the past, it's only just chimed once to confirm it's on.  It would also chime whenever it finished printing something.  However... now it does it 3-5 times for each activity... which is rather odd an annoying.  The only thing I can see that it's possibly related to is the black ink showing a 'lower level' of ink.  It's not even dry.  But, I think it's rather over-kill for the prolific chiming to be related to a half-empty ink cartridge.
I went ahead and turned off the sound effects volume on the printer itself, for the meantime anyway.  But, does anyone else know what's going on, or do they know why it would do that?

  • HP Photosmart Premium 360g, can identify my wireless network, but says WPA is invalid

It is a used family printer, I have never connected to it before, I downloaded the software and drivers.
The wirless radio is on, and it has printed from my computer via USB connection.
It just keeps saying my network password is invalid and it certainly is not.

  • HP Photosmart Premium C310a Printer paper alignment and paper feed problem.

    Standard Info:
HP Photosmart Premium C310a Inkjet All-in-one Printer.
    Windows 7 Home Premium
No reported errors messages except for paper jams.
No changes were made to the system before the problems began.
    My Info:
I am very proficient with computers and electronics. I would first like to say that this printer has very vibrant inks and its ColorSmart/sRGB ICC profile is pure magic. The high DPI ratings have turned out to be accurate so far and the printer prints beautiful images.
    Problems:
The problem I am having is with the printers paper feed rollers.  They are not scrolling the paper through the printer accurately and consistantly.  There have also been two paper jams when using multipurpose everyday paper.  When printing high res artwork using HP Advanced Photo Paper I was using HP Photosmart Essentials to create an 8"x10" picture on the 8.5"x11" paper and the first 35-40 prints came out accurately but then, before any paper jams or other problems the 8x10 pictures began to not center correctly on the paper.  Then the top of the 8x10 picture started slanting to the right on the paper and extending too close to the right edge of the paper.  The entire 8x10 picture is no longer printing 8x10 (the left side of the picture is just over 8" tall and the right side of the picture is printing just under 8", same thing with the top and bottom edges of the image) and is not centering properly on the paper.  I  just had my second paper jam last night which I clicked the "cancel print" button on the front of the printer touch display to eject the paper.  Immediately after, everything began printing very close to the left edge of the paper and prints at an angle down the sheet no matter what it is that I print or what paper it is printed on.  I have tried using the auto alignment feature on the printer several times and it does not help.
    Questions:
Is this printer purchased on 09/25/2011 from hp.com (with no extended warranty) still under a regular warranty?
If I send it in for repairs will HP be able to fix these problems?
Is there any way that I can adjust the scrollers myself to fix the problem?
Is the new C510a more reliable than the C310a in this field?
I need a backup printer for my art business, I would like to purchase an HP C510a, but am concerned I will have the same problems with the new one.
If anyone can help, please respond.  I cannot go on with these problems any longer.
    Thank you for your time,
    Nanette

Thank you for your quick response Bob.  Your answer was helpful, but did not solve my problem.  I have cleaned the printer exactly as your response has suggested, but there has been no change, and I was not able to find any dirt, scum, dust, or anything at all wrong with the rollers.
Here are a few pictures of some 8"x10" pictures that I just printed on 8.5"x11" HP Advanced Photo Paper:
These 8"x10" images are supposed to be centered on the paper, but are FAR from centered or dimensionally accurate to 8"x10".
This last image shows really well how the top of the 8"x10" image slants downward from left to right as well as approaches too close to the right edge of the paper.
Is this a problem that I can fix on my own?
If I send the printer to HP for repairs will they be able to fix this problem or will they just clean the printer scrollers and send it back thinking it is fixed?
I really need help with this problem, because right now, the printer is not useable.
    Thank you for your help.

  • Psc1210xi all-in-one will not "pull in" the paper

The rollers that "pull" the paper into the printer are not turning ! What could be causing this ?I have enough experience and tools to remove the top of the machine to re-align and/or replace the part (most likely a gear wheel or "belt") if necessary. Awaiting you're reply, Greg G. Beatty

Hello there! Welcome to the forums @GBEATTY
I understand your PSC 1210 model will not feed paper through it properly, and I wanted to share my suggestion.
I would recommend trying out these troubleshooting steps to see if they can help and repair the feed issue. If the problem does continue, I would suggest giving us a call as we do not suggest disassembling the printer.

  • Photosmart Premium C310a won't feed paper

I went through all of the HP support steps, including the video with no luck - (time wait on/off & power cord on/off, correct amount/type of paper, ALL rollers cleaned, no paper jams, print settings correct, cartridges installed properly, hard reset, etc, etc. It sounds like a gear grinding when the roller pickup bar drops down to feed the paper.  Is there a factory reset for this printer?? Please help, Thank you

  • When printing a highlighted (selected) print range from an internet item pulled up through Firefox, the first line of the selected range is not printing or is partially cut off.

When printing a highlighted (selected) print range from an internet item pulled up through Firefox, the first line of the selected range is not printing or is partially cut off. This is not an issue with my printer, as printer prints the whole selected print range when using Internet Explorer or Word Doc applications. The problem only happens when using Firefox. Please advise on how to fix this. Is this a settings issue or do I need to download and update? Thx

  • HP Photosmart premium not printing correct colors or contrast on photo paper.

My HP Photosmart Premium does not print correct colors or contrast level on photographs using photo paper.  This happens with using most any application and setting the paper type to one of the photo papers...  By using MS PhotoAlbum and selecting the photo tray then forcing "regular paper", I can get a somewhat decent print (this trick only works with MS PhotoAlbum).  When I setup to any of the "photo paper" types, I do not get correct colors or contrast levels (even if the print preview looks good).
I have the same issue with 8.5 x 11 inch photopaper.  Unless I select "regular paper" as the paper type, I get incorrect color and contrast (even if the preview looks good).  The ICC "Color Profiles" look to be OK (at least the titles are correct).
    Anyone have any ideas?

Try the troubleshooting steps in this page.  My bet would be the Photo cartridge (the black with the bow tie symbol) is out of ink.  This is only used when photo paper is selected, for plain paper printing the regular black cartridge is used.

  • Assignment feild is not pulling through to report FS10N

    Hi,
When I run the FS10N and FBL3N, The assignment feild is not pulling through to report FS10N and FBL3N even though we select the assignment feild to be displayed(layout). If we double click on the line item the assignment feild value is appearing.
We selected sort key as 040:Reference in GL master...
Could you please anybody  help me by giving solution for this and what could be the problem..
    Thanks & Regards,
    Prakash

    Hi
    Thank you so much...
I found the problem where it's going wrong..The problem is in GL master sortkey has been selected as 040(Reference), but user has not filled reference field, has filled assignment field. That is the reason system is not showing the value in assignment field, it has picked from the reference field.
So now if we fill the reference field system will display the assignment value in FS10N..
Now I want to get the existing assignment field values in FS10N,which have not been given in reference field.
Is there any program to retrieve existing assignment values under assignment field in FS10N report?
Could you please tell me..if any program is there...
    Thanks & Regards,

  • QM Notification: task end dates not pulled through from response profile

    Hello,
I am experiencing a problem with the end dates of the tasks in QM notifications not pulling through (from the response profile) when tasks are determined.
When I do the simulation of task determination, the gantt chart shows all the tasks together with the end dates. But when the actual determination is done these dates are not populated in the planned finish date fields.
I have double checked the configuration: priorities, response and service profiles are set up correctly. I have also searched SAP notes without success.
I thank you in advance for your responses.
    Kind regards,
    Theo.

Yes, I know, but as far as I understand binding the values back from rule to the workflow is something that doesn't work. I have never tried it, but I have seen posts here about people complaining that this kind of binding does not work.
Have you tried to bind for example some hard coded value back to the workflow (something that should definately work)? Does it work? If not, I suggest you to ask this from SAP that is it supposed to work and if not, why do they have this option to for binding from rule to workflow. Or then just forget what you are trying, and use some of the suggested workarounds.
    Regards,
    Karri

  • Purchase Order price not pulled through from Purchase Requisition.

    Hi:
The Valuation Price on my Purchase Requisition does not pull through to the Purchase Order.
All the settings on "OMET" and my user profile seems to be set but still I get an error - No conditions determined (no authorization for input)
when I enter a tax code on the PO.
All my other authorizations are also okay.
    What can the problem be.
    Thanks.
    W.

Maybe you should explain all steps YOU  have done, instead of saying "yes I have done that", As this function works for many many companies without any problem, it is either an issue with your enties, or it is a bug in the programs.
For a bug, you should search OSS notes and open a message to SAP if you cant find one that solves your issue.
the authorization part of this message relates to the functional authorization, and cannot be seen in SU53.
The error is issued in these 4 cases:
IF t160d-erfin EQ space AND ekpo-repos NE space.
          MESSAGE e235.
IF t160d-eprsz EQ space AND ekpo-repos NE space.
          MESSAGE e235.
IF ekpo-netpr EQ 0 AND ekpo-repos NE space.
    and
        IF t160d-erfin EQ space.
          MESSAGE e235.
IF ekpo-netpr EQ 0 AND ekpo-repos NE space.
    and
        IF t160d-eprsz EQ space.
          MESSAGE e235.
so you only need to provide the values of following fields:
    T160d-ERFIN

  • D5560, feeds paper through but doesn't print!

This is my second D5560,  the first printed over the edges of the paper and was replaced by HP.
This one though, also seems to have issues..
If I try to print anything, it will feed the paper through, stop then spit it back out.. Sometimes it will then try to take another bit of paper and will have it stuck halfway into the printer unless I press cancel.
Any ideas? Is this another faulty printer or what?
I've tried it on my PC and laptop, one on windows 7 and other on Vista.
    Thanks
    David
