Does BPM's required for these scenarios

Hi everyone,
Would anyone send me the steps for File-RFC-File and Http-RFC-FIle scenarios.
I created an Remote enabled function module with fileid and destination as import parameters and filecontent as export parameter.
My scenario is when i send the fileid as request, i should get filecontent as response to a file in xml format.
Do i need to do these scenarios in BPM, or can we do without BPM also.
Regards,
Varun

  • I have a G5 and bought and upgraded to osx 10.5.  now i need to upgrade to 10.5.6 or higher, but when i download and try to install, i get message "this volume does not meet requirements for this update".

i am trying to sync an ipad to a power mac g5.  i bought and upgraded to osx 10.5 and have tried to download and 10.5.6 or higher, but i keep getting same message:  "you cannot install mac os x update on this volume.  this volume does not meet requirements for this update".  help!

Java for Mac OS X 10.5 Update 5
To me, in all such updates, goes without saying maybe: backup, repair permissions, repair your drive (Disk Warrior does more reliable and thorough job, and it comes out to pennies if you don't wait until needed). Clone your system so you can restore or use the backup - just in case.
I'd even do a fresh format after your clone is done and do a full OS clean install and update, and then a quick import from Setup Assistant.
Mac computer with USB 2.0 port
Mac OS X v10.5.8 or later
    iTunes 10.2 or later recommended
    (free download from www.itunes.com/download)
    iTunes Store account
    Internet access
I'm going to assume there is something with the partitions on the drive, partition table most likely, though I know I've seen others with that error message - doesn't really point to cause, rarely does (make sure latest firmware update etc is sometimes included but again, we know that isn't why).

  • Advise required for the scenario logic

    Hi Experts,
SCENARIO NAME: FILE(text format) to IDOC.
    requirement.
ex. input is 10 line items if any of the line item fails that supposed to throw exception what ever success lines are there that should process with out any fail or idoc should generated.
there no multi mapping. only one structure.
    thanks

    Hey,
You need to use 1:N MultiMapping here. In PI, each message is a single unit of work, either the complete message fails or passes.
For your case, you need to generate an IDOC for each Line item. This way, if one message fails(read line Item), other messages (read line Items) won't be affected.
As far as alerts are concerned, you can simply configure alerts using ALRTCATDEF or CCMS. That will take care of sending e-mail in case of failure.
Below is the Blog to do Multimapping and generate Multiple receive structures from a single source structure. Please note that the Blog is old and you don't need to use BPM for it:

  • BPM Design required 1:N scenario

    Hi Frnds,
I am working on one scenario JMS to (IDOC,RFC,MAIL).
    1) when i receive message from MQ first level i wl apply XSLT Maping then it gives one message it contains 3 sub  messages.in this case i have to send mail (confirmation mail ).
1.1 I have to map XSLT Mapping out put to MBGMCR IDoc or DESADV IDOC or RFC based on  conditions.
If SAP PO not found(RFC LookUp to retrieve PO Value) i have to send RFC message to SAP
If SAP PO found ,the value =12 then i have to send MBG MCR IDOC
If SAP PO found value is 10 0r 11 I Have to send MBGMCR IDOC and DESADV IDOC to SAP.
    final confirmation mail...
my receievrs 5 .. how to design Intergratipn process,i developed message mapping and Operation mapping, but i am not clear about IP.
    many thanks,

Hi prateek thanks for you replay, but i need some clarity,
    I developed 5 Interface mapping,
1)to post message in to RFC
2)to post message in to IDOC(mbgmcr if po =12)
    3)to post message in to IDOC(mbgmcr if po = 10 or 11)
4)to post message in to IDOC(desadv if po=10 or 11)
5)Mail(rfc response value si have to send as a mail)
first four interface mapping wil have first step is XSLP Mapping second level maping is Message mapping.
in message mapping i retrieved PO value(RFC LookUp) based one PO value i created target.

  • What Permission Set Is Required For This Scenario?

    Hello,
I currently have an environment where I have limited users to being able to create/delete databases that only they have created.  I did this by creating a Login with Public access and granting them the  CREATE ANY DATABASE permissions to their
login. This works great as the users can create a database and delete their database but not anyone else's. The issue I have is the following scenario:
Database A is backed up from Server 1 (a different server than the restore server) and the DB was created by User 1
Database A is restored to Server 2 by User 2 who has CREATE ANY DATABASE permission (successfully).
User 2 can see the restored database, but cannot access it: The database is not accessible error.
When I view the database I see that the DB Owner is listed as User 1.
I've been trying to figure out how to be able to allow the user to become the new owner so they can edit/delete the database, but still not affect other databases that they do not own.
I've played with various permission sets but they end up being able to delete other user databases which I'm trying to avoid.  I also don't want to have to change the owner myself.
Is there a permission set that I can grant that will allow this scenario?

That's a valid statement, let me explain my scenario and perhaps there is a better way to construct what I'm after.
I have a QA server where different developers create databases.  All the databases backed up on the QA server are stored in a shared folder.  This shared folder is accessible on our DEV server.  We have a different set of developers
who at times need to restore one of the QA backups on the DEV server for different testing reasons.  The permission set applied was simply to prevent someone from accidently deleting someone else's database.  Restoring someone else's database in
our environment is not a concern.
With this in mind, I was hoping there was an additional permission I could grant that would allow the user restoring the database to become the new owner. I don't want the burden of approving it as it will always be approved.
I clicked on the connect link, but it returns as invalid -
    The system has encountered an
unexpected error. We apologize for the inconvenience. The issue will be
    addressed as quickly as possible.

  • How does the bandwidth required for a voice call v...

I want to have Skype calls with participants in (4) different locations. Some locations have a strong, reliable internet connection. Other locations have less strong and/or less reliable internet connections.
From the Skype website, I see the bandwith needed/recommended for voice calls, but I can't figure whether the needed/recommended bandwith increases with the number of call participants.
Thanks in advance for guidance on what (if anything) I can do to improve efforts to help folks with poor broadband access stay connected!

Connect and sync. That will backup your iPhone settings, and sync your contacts, apps, etc. to your computer via iTunes. Before you hand your iPhone in for the exchange, select Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Contents and Settings - that initiates a secure wipe of the phone contents and cannot be stopped once you start it.
When you get your new phone, connect it and sync, choosing the option to restore from backup. That and the subsequent sync will transfer all of your old settings, contacts, music, apps, etc., to the new iPhone. The only thing that will not transfer are the Wi-Fi passwords and the voicemail password. Those must be set up again on the new phone (that's a security measure).

  • HT4929 I have 2nd generation I-pod which does not meet requirements for ICloud.  However, I was told that after I moved to ICloud if I connected my iPod to my Mac via the USB connection that my calendar and contacts would sync, but this didn't happen.

I have a 2nd generation Ipod and just moved to Icloud.  I had been told my an Apple tech that although my contacts and calendar would not sync automatically I could connect the Ipod to my Mac via the USB port and ITunes would sync the calendar.  Now I find that this is not happening.  I am not happy that I will have to enter/edit calendar and contact info on two devices.  Is there something I can do to fix this problem?  Thanks.

one more detail, after a restore, when I attempt to reload music to the ipod, if I try and move, say, 20 files, the transfer seems to work as it should but then stalls on the last file.  Eventually, the status will change to "Updates Files on (my ipod)" a and suggests the iPod is syncing  even though I have the auto sync feature turned off.
This process eventually works itself out, and seems to take longer relative to the number of files I attempt to transfer.   Once done, howver, if I try and eject and dismount the iPod, iTunes stalls with the spinning pinwheel and I am warned that the iPod is syncing again with the spinning candy cane status bar.     Eventually thisd works itself out and the iPod dismounts from iTunes and the desktop and eventually the iPod is free to disconnect.
Then if I try and play the music I just transfered, the iPod says there is no music loaded.
    Ideas?

My doubt is with ATG10.1 we are using multisite environment for our project. So one category will be part of more than one site.
So how does OOB CatalogNavHistory and CatalogNavHistoryCollector handle the breadcrumbs for these scenario?

    Dear KK,
IF You want to use the EURO currency as transaction currency and Your Local currency is Australian Dollar, the System correectly will take the Exchange rate EURX.
EURO is used for the old european currencies
EURX for all the other foreign currencies
EMU indicator that means European Monetary Union has to be flagged if the referency currency is EUR.
I hope this can help You.

  • Environemnt required for Installing essbase??

    Hi
I am Planning to Install essbase in my Organization on Linux servers and Can some one help me out with prerequisites required??
    Installing essbase 9.3.1
How many servers do i need??
Do i need one seperatley for shared services and one seperately for essbase server??
What is the ram required for these servers and we have to build application that will have a size of 40gb in future
Do i need to have 16 processors for each of the server??
Since the previous organisation i worked for had made their application run on 4 thred and each thread has 4 cpu'c??
I Had an idea to get Servers each with 32gb of ram with 16 cpus each
Can any one suggest me are these requirements sufficient or What are the Components i need to install on each servers
Is this the correct way of setting hardware??
    Thanks
    Kumar

    Hi Atul,
Can you send me any document which gives the general information about the Configuration details for installing Essbase software.....
In your earlier reply, you have mentioned have that increment in CPU and RAM size does not result in increasing perforrmance. In application optimization way, I agree this is not helpful. But if hardware configuration is good, system performance will be better right...Please clarify me I am wrong.

  • Goods receipt not required for freight items

    Hi Experts,
We are using freight charge as extra line item in purchase order. Now client want that there shouldn't be any goods reciept if it is "Freight" item. I am thinking to use different material group or item category. Please advise if it is possible that if user enter PO number in MIGO then freight item should not appear (Based on material group or item category).
Also we are using quantity variance in Invoices, is it possible system don't block freight items as goods receipt is not required for these.
    Regards,
    Kamal

    Hi,
For not receiving the goods with respect to freight line item in PO,
    1. First uncheck the Goods receipt indicator in PO delivery tab,.
    2. also uhchek GR based invocie verification in Invocie tab,
    3. As GR based invocie verisfication is not activated system will not block for quantity variance.

  • Bandwidth requirement for voice calls

    Hi All,
Need expertise advise on the following concern about voice call.
    1. Bandwidth requirement for video call across all other endpoint(using Polycom / Lifesize end point at their end)
        a)Standard Video
        b)1K HD Video
        c)4K HD Video
    2. Plus can we determine bandwidth required for all the following below:
    a. 1 to 1 VC  end point ( Cisco TP – Cisco TP)
    b. Bridge call  ( Cisco TP to Polycom / Lifesize)
    c. 1 to 1 VC end point ( Cisco TP – Polycom / Lifesize)

Thanks for the info Wayne. I missed out information about the endpoint.
Client using CTS 3010.  Acoording to datasheet it says
11.9 Mbps (1080p, 30 fps best motion handling), 10.1 Mbps (1080p, 30 fps better motion handling), 8.8 Mbps (1080p, 30 fps good motion handling)
    6.4 Mbps (720p, 30 fps best motion handling), 4.5 Mbps (720p, 30 fps better motion handling), 3.1 Mbps (720p, 30 fps good motion handling)2
My question is does the bandwidth required for both ways or only one way?
    And I'm aware CTS 3010 doesn't support 4K video.

  • Minimum parameters and values required for 11g database

    Hi

    Thanks for your help
But this basic parameters did not mention the following parmeters . What can be the mimimum value that can be assigned to these parameters.
    dml_locks
    log_checkpoint_interval
    log_checkpoint_timeout
    open_cursors
    open_links
    parallel_max_servers
    processes
    session_cached_cursors
    session_max_open_files
    job_queue_processes
    log_buffer
    shared_pool_size
    sort_area_retained_size
    sort_area_size
    db_cache_size
    pga_aggregate_target
ThanksI suggest you to start letting the default parameters and then tune them step-by-step.
    Eg:
    - open_links => If you dont have database links you can avoid to set it.
    - processes: number of backgroud processes + expected session/users for your application. if you have 1000 users connecting at the same time you would set a value higher than 1000.
    - shared_pool_size, db_cache_size, sort_area_size, pga_aggregate_target are not mandatory if you use automatic memory management by Oracle.
    - etc.
