Doubt on configuration....!!!

Dear Friends,
Pls clarify my below doubt's
1. Do I need to configure sender XI adapter & sender agreement when my sender is a ECC system sending proxy message?
2. I have configured Business system for differnt clients of ECC and at runtime if both the system sends a same message type to XI, based on the logical & technical system details XI can know which BS has sent that message, but in case of two Business Service sends same message type, how will XI know which BS has sent message?
Thanks for your help....! ! ! ! !......!

Hi,
>>Reg my second question I am using webmethods as a sender. So I have configured two Business system for two different webmethods system. So if the both the webmenthods systems sends the same message type can XI know which system the message has been sent...?
If you have a business system for each of the webmethods then yes.
>>Also in case of receiver/server proxy, I need to configure receiver channel and receiver agreement... can I have two different receiver Proxy sytems by configuring different receiver channels and assigning to the respective scenario....??
Yes you need them and you can have two different systems as receivers.. there you need to specify the parameters in the XI communication channel
>>I assume that there is not need of creating sender channel & agreement when the sender system post message directly to integration server of XI... for ex when webMethods posts message directly to XI which is similar to ECC posting proxy message.... Please correct me if i am wrong....
yes you dont need them.. but i have a basic doubt.. why are you posting it as proxy, cant we have a normal HTTP post?

  • Doubts on Configuring Search

    Hi All,
I am new to knowledge Management and have some basic doubts regarding Configuration of Search(TREX).
Suppose i assume that, i have all documents in KM repository, well configured in Content Management and my TREX server is running..
Then, i create an INDEX and also assign the Data Source to that index.
Is this enough to configure Search or do i need to continue with creating Taxonomy and Classification?
If not, what is the sole purpose of Taxonomy and classification?
    Thanks in advance.
    Vijay.K

    Hi,
       Yes, It's enough.
You use taxonomies in order to classify your documents.
Documents are assigned to categories in a taxonomy. Each category only contains documents that have similar contents or that are related to the same topic. The categories in a taxonomy form a hierarchical ordering of terms.
To use taxonomies, you must create an index (Index Administration), then you have to assign it a data source (km folders that you want to classify). At last you create your taxonomies. Remember that there are two kind of taxonomies: Query Based and Example Based.
In this link you can find a good explanation:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/bf/a179fbd15211d6b2c700508b6b8a93/frameset.htm
The documents included in the taxonomies are pointed by the data source in your index.
System Administration-Monitoring-KM-Trex Monitor-Display Queue Entries- Choose your Index, and then you can see all documents indexed with theirs status.
    Patricio.

  • Doubt in Configuring the Integration Engine

    Hi,
We maintained the Integration server URL in SLD in the Business System part which points to ABAP stack...
But in SXMB_ADM we didnt configured the IS, we just have the parameter of IE as HUB. thats it.
Do we need to Configure the IS also in the SXMB_ADM????
    Regards
    Suman

    Hi,
    On the Integration Server:
In sxmb_adm -> IE Configuration, you need to maintain the role of the system as 'Integration Server'. Do not enter any URL for the IS.
We did This as u said adn we have the info. like u said only
our basis configured like that only before u said
    On the Application System
In sxmb_adm -> IE Configuration, you need to maintain the role of the system as 'Application System'. Enter the URL to the entry pipeline of the integration server (http://<PI_Server>:<port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry).
This we didnt maintained any thing in the Application server.
Even though we are able to get process the Files. we are able to see all the pipeline steps in MONI.
    This is IDOC----File Scenario

  • Doubt on configuration in MI Client

    Hi,
Is possible customize the principal screen in MI Client ?
And... I'm trying configure the MobileEngine.properties with the configuration
    MobileEngine.JSP.HomePage.DisplaySettingsLink=false
    and don't works.
    Any idea?
    Regards,
    Bruno

    Hi Bruno
Is possible customize the principal screen in MI Client ?
Apart from changing the images on the MI Client, it is not possible to customize any of the MI JSP Pages. For changing the images refer to my reply in thread Re: MI client homepage log change in MI 7.0
The configuration menitoned was introduced in MI Client 2.5 and 7.0 with SP19 and SPs 10 respectively. If your client is in a SP lesser than the mentioned SP above, this configuration will not work.  So make sure you are on either SP19 or SPS10 or above and this will definitely work. Hope this helps.

  • Doubt about configuration IPCCX 5.0

    Hi Guys,
My Customer have a solution with 02 IPCCX  Server version 5.0 (Publisher and Subscriber). I would like know if is possible configure any parameter in IPCCX to that inform (about alarm, e_mail, or another form) when the IPCCX to stop generate of backup. Is there this possibility in IPCCX?
    Thank You,
    Wilson

    Hi,
UCCX can be polled by an SNMP collector and also send alerts to a syslog server on the network. You can have any SNMP collector poll UCCX and you will get events back, like the one you have described, if the Cisco Alarm Service is running. All subprocesses of UCCX report their alerts to this process which then serves them to the collector when it is polled.
Alternatively, you can use the AppAdmin->System->Alarm Configuration to configure a syslog server and the level of alarms that are sent. Then, use AppAdmin->Tools->Alarm Definition to see which ones you want to filter.
You're most likley going to filter/trap:
    Catalog MCVD-ARCHIVE_MGR
    Name BACKUP_FAILED
Description Backup of the cluster failed
    Severity CRITICAL_ALARM

    Benefit Area,Assigned currency to Benefit Area,Defined Benefit providers,Set current Benefit Area,Defined Benefit plan types,Status,Defined Employee criteria groupings(parameter groupings,salary groups,age groups,Seniority groups),Defined cost groupings,Defined coverage groupings.
In Health plans i defined Health plan genral data, options for health plans, dependent coverage options,Defined Cost Variants,Defined cost rules.
I struck up from this point onwards. My qurries are
1.Is it compulsary to Assign Health plan attributes!
2.What are follwing steps of configuration after Assign Health Plan attributes!

    Hi Vikram,
    1. yes you should assign Assign Health plan attributes; without assigning this u can' process the further steps this is the integration point off your plan options with cost rules
    2. after the above step the following are the mandatory steps to follo:
    a. Flexible administration --- define administrative parameters (Mandatory)
    b. Prerequisite and Corequisite plans (Optional--based on ur client needs)
    c. Adjustment reasons (Optional-if u have any adjustments it is mandatory)
    d. Programs ; 1st program Grouping and Second program groupin( Mandatory without assigning this you can't process)
    e. Define Benefit Programs (mandatory)
    f. Employee Eligibility : eligibility grouping and variant and eligibility rules ( Mandatory)
    g. Standard Selections: Health plans (Mandatory)
after config all those steps then you go to T-Code HRBEN0001 there you can enrol youa employees .

    Hi ,
Please find answer to your questions::
    1. i can delete that domain controller and i can create Domain controller in production:: yes you can delete the current configuration & make PRD system as  domian controller .
    2. i will add testing system to production:: yes you can add new system to new domain.
3.is it possible to create TMS between two systems with same sid.:: Same SID will not be supported in one landscape. You must have dieffrent SIDs .If you are asking the question like if you can configure the transport route in same system then you can do it by creatinf a dummy system.

  • How to configure inbound ruleset in dynamic nat.

    Hi ,
I have a doubt on configure the inbound rules for dynamic nat. I want to allow my web server (172.16.101.115) able connect from outside with tcp/443.
How do I configure the inbound ruleset for allow public connect to my webserver with tcp/443 in dynamic nat.
Here I have draw a diagram and some configuration i have configure in my ASA 8.2. Please correct me if I was wrong config it.
    Public IP: 10.10.10.28
    Private IPs:
    172.16.101.115
    172.16.101.116
    172.16.101.117
    172.16.101.118
    172.16.101.119
    172.16.101.120
    access-list Web_nat permit ip host 172.16.101.115 any
    access-list Web_nat permit ip host 172.16.101.116 any
    access-list Web_nat permit ip host 172.16.101.117 any
    access-list Web_nat permit ip host 172.16.101.118 any
    access-list Web_nat permit ip host 172.16.101.119 any
    access-list Web_nat permit ip host 172.16.101.120 any
    nat (firewall-dmz) 1 access-list Web_nat
    global (firewall-outbound) 1 10.10.10.28
access-list fw-outbound-access permit tcp any host 10.10.10.28 eq 443 //allow outside connect to my external ip.
access-list fw-dmz-access permit tcp any host 172.16.101.115 eq 443 //allow my translation ip connect to my webserver with tcp/443.

    Hi,
I am not sure what you are attempting to configure here.
But what the NAT configuration above does is do a Dynamic PAT for all the servers on the "firewall-dmz" to a single IP address towards the "firewall-outbound"
This Dynamic translation doesnt however enable connections to be initiated from behind the "firewall-outbound" interface. When your hosting a server which needs a NAT towards the users then the NAT type has to be Static NAT or Static PAT.
Static NAT will essentially use up one public IP address for just the single local host/server.
Static PAT will do a Port Forward from the public IP address and public port to the local IP and local port. And this is most commonly used with environments which only public IP address is the one that the ASA holds in its WAN interface.
A typical Static NAT configuration is this
    static (inside,outside) 1.1.1.1 10.10.10.10 netmask 255.255.255.255
    Where
inside = is the interface behind which the host is
outside = is the interface towards which the host is NATed
1.1.1.1 = is the public NAT IP address for the host
10.10.10.10 = is the local IP address of the host
A typical Static PAT configuration is this
    static (inside,outside) tcp interface 80 10.10.10.10 80 netmask 255.255.255.255
    Where
tcp = specifies the protocol for which the Static PAT configured
interface = specifies that we will be using the public IP address of the destination interface "outside" as the public IP address for this single Port Forward.
80 = first "80" specifies the public port visible to users behind the destination interface
80 = second "80" specifies the actual local port on which the local host is listening on
    Hope this helps

  • Doubt regarding testing Soap scenario (HTTPS)

    Hello Experts,
I have a scenario where a Bapi functionality(server proxy) is exposed as a webservice .
So scenario will be SOAP -> XI -> Proxy (calls a BAPI).
I need to use https for this scenario. I have read most of the blogs and threads regarding this and will proceed accordingly.
    I have a simple doubt :
After configuring a scenario to *only* accept a Soap message with appropriate valid certificate -
If I have to test my scenario using XML spy, how can I  attach a certificate to Soap request in XML spy?
Or is their any feature available in XMl spy or in Xi itself to do these kind of test?
or please suggest me a work around to test the scenario configuration with certificates.
    Thanks in Advance!
    Regards,
    Xi Queries.

    Hi Swarup,
I would like to know :
What happens when a check for certificate validation fails in XI? It may be due to invalid certificate, expired certificate or a request from unauthorised user-
    - Will it be raised as a exception and we need to do some configuration to inform it back to Sender?
    - Will the message fail in Moni with red flag ?
    - Alerts will be created ?
Please share your experiences and expert sugestions.
    Thanks in Advance!!

  • Can I configure a 79xx Phone with two busy trigger using UCCE 8.5?

Hi, my name is Eric and I've some doubts to configure my Phones. First of all, I will explain my environment below:
    - UCCE 8.5
    - CM 8.5
    - CVP 8.0
I would like to know if it's supported if I configure a 79xx Phone with 2 busy triggers configuration, because the customer would like to the agent's phone receive two calls per line.
    Thank you very much.

    Eric,
No, this is not supported and stated as such in cisco docs.
Customer will need to designate separate DN for ACD calls and separate DN for DID/personal calls.

  • Doubt in file to rfc to mail scenario

    Hi All,
I have a doubt in configuring File2Rfc2Mail scenario,
Actually my requirement is to send flat File to RFC, and trigger mail alerts for successfull execution , like after successfully posting the mesg to rfc i need to trigger a mail alert to mailserver,
For that what i thought to do is file to rfc and from rfc response to mail , i don't know whether i can do like that or not , do anybody help me in this issue,
    Thanks in advance,
    Nousheen.

    Hey,
Your BPM will be like this.
    recieve step(file)-> sysnchronous send step(rfc)-> send step(mail)
    3 abstract interfaces:-
    abstract asynchronous(file structure)
abstract synchronous (in this request as file sturcture and response as mail structure)
mapping between abstract synchronous and rfc(no need for transformation as mapping is outside)
    abstract asynchronous(mail structure)
create two container variables, one for each abstract asynchronous interface.
use them in recieve step(file) and send step(file)
revert in case of any queries.
    reward points if useful.
    regards,
           Milan

  • Doubt Clock-In/Clock-Out Corrections

    Hi,
We are implementing ESS/MSS on EHP5.
I have a doubt when configuring Clock in/Clock out corrections. In SPRO "Clock-In/Clock-Out Corrections->Define Processing Processes", I left checked only the option "Corrections Have to Be Approved".
So I started the tests. I logged on with ESS user, made a correction e saved. After that I logged on POWL with the MSS user (who is the managet of the employee whose made de correction) and the entry was there. I approved, run the report RPTCORPOST and the entry was saved in TEVEN (IT 2011) table. That was perfect!!!
I went throught the second test, now with manager performing the correction for his employee. I logged with MSS user, selected the employee, made the correction and saved. In my mind, if the manager is correcting a clock-in/clock-out, it should be approved automatically. So, I run the report RPTCORPOST and the entry wasn´t saved in TEVEN (IT 2011) table. I thougth that weird, and i decided to check if the entry could be in POWL. I went to POWL and the entry was there, waiting to be approved.
The question is: Shouldn´t the entry be automatically approved when the manager performs a correction for his employees?
    Thanks
    Bruno

    Hi Siddharth,
Thanks for your prompt reply. I will notifiy my customer that this behaviour is an enhance.
As a suggestion for the future ESS/MSS version, the solution could allow setup this configuration.
    Thank you again.
