Down Load to Windows ME

My Linux machine is not connected to the Internet. I downloaded the files I need to a Windows ME machine. Is there a way to copy those files to a cd so the Linux machine will read them?

Linux can read most CD formats. So if you just use your favorite CD burning software to create a CD like you're used to, it should work fine once it's mounted in Linux. I recommend burning as ISO format w/ Joliet file naming.

I have down loaded itunes (windows) on my desk top and when i click on the icon it takes 4 to 5 minutes for the program to open. also the program does not open when i connect my iphone. Help!

Why does it take 4 to 5 minutes for my itunes program to open? it also frequently freezes while i am trying to work with it. it won't open when i connect my iphone? this is on my desk top with Windows 7.

Okay, launch iTunes... does it work?
If so, in Edit > Preferences > Advanced is the option to "prevent syncing of iDevices" selected?
Another possibility, in Control Panel > Default Programs > Change Auto Play Settings > what is the system set to do when an iPhone is connected?

Just having the same issue there, which is real not fun, I have not tried to contact them, but looking at your experience I am not sure if I should.
My key comes from the back of a laptop o so I guess that would be a W7
OEM, and that could explain why you can't download a ISO from their website, would that also your case ?
Also could it be because we are attempting to get the ISO after the product became EOL ?

I tried the "Internet Recovery" option and finally saw Mac OS X Mountain Lion's install page but after waiting 7 hours when I just thought its going to start installing, I got another progress bar with 36 hours remining time to download "Additional Components" then after progressing 2-3 hours, it shows "Unable to write installation something..., Contact Apple Care"
Then I accidently rebooted the machine and now it seems Internet Recovery don't work anymore, it shows "support.apple.com - 40 something!" error, and finally when I tried to reboot using Recovery HD, I found it's gone as-well!
To be honest, I don't know what to do now, I am and dissapointed... also I do not have any Apple Store nearby, there is an authorized country reseller almost 650/km far away from my residents and they even charges too high (like $250) for doing such repairs (as per phone conversation)
If anyone have any idea or anything to help me with, please do share- I'd be eternally grateful!

Are trying to get an HD movie that you produced with iMovie on the iPhone downloaded to your PC? I have had this problem with a long movie but not with a short one. I have windows XP. I have a DVD that I was told was made in MOV. I have tried and tried to down load quicktime to play it, but all I can get is audio. It brings up the opening picture of the video then it stops there and plays the audio fine.

It should play in QuickTime.
Try dragging the file from the mounted DVD to the desktop (it will copy). It may playback properly.

If you use extensions like Adblock Plus or NoScript or Flashblock that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content. 
You can see the installed Firefox extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions".
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

The downloaded file is the projector, not an installer; you need to make the file association manually:
move the downloaded exe file to a location you can remember, e.g. C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
right-click on a swf file and select Open with > Choose default program
navigate to the folder you saved the player and select flashplayer_13_sa.exe

I was running Lightroom 3.6 with the OS Windows XP (Sp3). The whole system crashed, I am unable to recover the serial number. I then upgraded my OS to Windows 7 (x64) and down loaded Lightroom 4.4, I wanted to buy a licence so I then upgraded to Lightroom

I then upgraded my OS to Windows 7 (x64) and down loaded Lightroom 4.4, I wanted to buy a licence so I then upgraded to Lightroom 5, now when I try to register I am asked for the original licence/serial number. Where do I go from here??????

If you upgraded from 3.6 to 5 (you didn't indicate buying 4.4) then you will need the serial number from 3.6 in order to be able to use 5. If you did not keep a record of it there is a chance it might be available thru your Adobe account online, but if not, there is likely not much you can do except to return the upgrade and purchase a full version. Try contacting support using chat and explain your situation to see if they can help.

If you did purchase 4.4 then that should be sufficient to use to activate 5.
I can never be sure what goes on with Lightroom, and the Adobe site (even when it works properly) makes finding information about products difficult these days so I am at a loss to confirm anything I say.
