Down payment to recipient  area 01 amount  not cleared

Hi All,
I am facing one error at the time of settlement runing--
As per my business process we run the settlement process for settlement the AUC Asset to Fixed Asset.
Now at the time of runing Parital settlement process we face the error massage No. AW605.
Please help me to resolve this issue.
Regards,

Hi,
Please see the notes 35309 point 4 and 336803.  Here below a extract of what mentioned in the note:
For business reasons you can only make down payments to assets under construction and therefore you cannot post down payments from AuC to active assets. The error message appears if the balance in the current final settlement of settled down payments is not zero
Please clear the downpayments if you want to settle the values to a final asset.
Please check the final settlement of settled down payments is not zero in the previous years.
regards Bernhard

    Diagnosis
All downpayments were not cleared for the asset under construction for the receiver 28000437 0 in area 01. An amount of          575.50 was not cleared, or too much was cleared.
You can only completely transfer an asset under construction if you reverse the down payments in the current fiscal year beforehand.

    Hi Sachin,
You need to clear your existing downpayments throu F-54
You can check the DP that you made for AUC in T code Aw01N. Double click on the down payments and will get you the documnet number . Clear this DP in F-54.

  • The accounting documents are still not cleared

End-user wants to know why the accounting documents are still not cleared from invoices

    Hi.
An accounting document for customers are cleared when the payment is from the customer is posted with a clearing transaction. When you post the payments direct on the the customer without clearing you get this situation. When you have set-up credit management it is even possible that new orders are blocked for this reason
When it is for creditors GR /IR you have to use the transaction F.13 - Automatic Clearing.
When it is for vendor payment, you don't have completed the payment run

  • Down payment to recipient 10500 1 area 10 amount   1.10- not cleared  Message no. AW605

    Hi Experts,
Need help and advise as usual.
We have two dep. areas defined. one is book dep(01). area and the other is group dep area(10).
It has been configured to derive or adopt values to Dep. area 10 from dep. area 01 (OABC)
We always find some exchange diff. in group currency during settling, Down payment Cleared because the time factor(as exchange rates get change) . therefore it is not possible to settle the AUC as we get the above error.
i have create a separate transaction type too, in order to allow posting the exchange dif. directly into the group currency dep. area.
But it does not still allow due to the above reason of value adoption.
My query is we find it extensively tired of settling this in a fiscal year end. As most of the time DPs are made in previous FY but cleared in current FY and we cannot avoid the exchange diff. derived. some time the audited FA also has presented.
Pls. advise how to resolve this issue? has anyone come across this situation.?

    Hi..
Is there anyone who can help me resolving the above query.

  • Invoice Purchase Order with Down Payments brings wrong Due Amount

    Hello,
I am working on 8.81 PL08 environment and I have this situation:
I issue a Purchase Order and then a Down Payment Request which I pay. When I go to invoice the purchase order the down payment and payment due fields on the invoice are correct.
In the case I issue another down payment request and for the same Purchase Order which closes the amount of invoice then when I go to the invoice and choose Copy From the same fields are not right.
If I go to Purchase Order and choose Copy To the amounts are correct.
So the situation is like this:
    - Down Payment part of Purchase Order. Due Payment to invoice correct
    - Down Payment full amount of Purchase Order. Choose Copy To from Purchase Order to Purchase Invoice. Due Payment correct.
    - Down Payment full amount of Purchase Order. Choose Copy From from Purchase Invoice. Due Payment wrong.
    Has anyone seen this before?
    Thank you,
    Gerasimos

    Thank you Gordon,
However I cannot deny to the user that wants to apply that that there is a business case where the vendor demands the invoice to be paid all in front (maybe one installment with the Purchase Order and one with the Receipt of the Goods). So, I would expect this to be covered.
I noticed another thing: When I opened the Down Payments screen on Invoice (where Down Payments are listed in order to choose them) there is a column "Open Net Amount" which brings the correct amount. However, in the column "Net Amount to Draw" there is a wrong figure and that makes the mistake.
Now I can see that I can wright the correct amount to column "Net Amount to Draw" but still I cannot understand why a user should do that.

  • Applying down payments bigger than invoice amount

    Hi there!!
I want to control employee advances via the following procedure:
Create a Control account in Asset named Employee Advance account
Create BP group employee and create employee master in Business Partner master data as vendor, link the control account
Create a downpayment (advance) for the employee
Booking the invoices using the AP services
Applying the paymnet using the down payment (but when the advance is bigger than the invoice to pay, that it´s my case, ths system ask me to pay an amount) how could I avoid this?
How could I applied a bigger advance to an invoice, without book a payment?
    best regards
PS Internal reconciliation doesn´t works because amounts doesn´t match

    Thanks Gordon/Jitin
So, I created a payment on account with the difference amount between the downpayment request and the invoice.
But when i use this last payment to pay another invoice with smaller amount, the difference went to the account configured in "Realized Exchange Diff" (G/L Account Determination).
So, i understand that payment on account can only be fully reconciled and can not create another payment on account, like the first case. ¿This is correct?

  • Information message "Down Payment more than invoice amount"

    Hi Experts,
After creating down payment request while making down payment, one information  message shows in status bar "Down Payment amount is more than invoice amount"
can anyone tell me why that message popup everytime?
    Thanks in advance
    Sanjay

    Dear,
Ideally this message should appear at the time F-54 transaction when down payment is greater or lesser than invoice amount.
But as you said it is appearing at time of F-48 so please check purchase order is entered and invoice has been done for that invoice with variances.
If query does not belong to any of above, please elaborate the scenario and also provide message number.

  • Shutting down FormsCentral? Why are you not marketing FormsCentral in conjunction with Muse? Perfect audience for FormsCentral.

I just saw the notification that you'll be shutting down FormsCentral. This will be a pain in the *** for me, but I suspect I'll survive.
I'm just surprised you're shutting it down. In my eye's Adobe never really even marketed the product. I stumbled across it in a round-about way, but I see it as a perfect companion to Muse. I'm amazed that you don't market it to Muse users, and build it into the Muse platform. You could potentially offer it as an in-app purchase. It is such a natural fit for your Muse demographic.

    Hi schultzee ,
I appreciate the fact that you have been a great user of forms central. However,Adobe is committed to delivering exceptional software and services to our customers. It’s in our nature to innovate and try new things, and it was in this spirit that we introduced FormsCentral over three years ago. Unfortunately, not enough people have chosen this path. • Making negative space in a vector design that should be one color.  When I try to make a black image there is white in the spaces and when I delete them they are black not clear.

Can someone help?  I tried fill and choosing the red line but it turns the white space to black not negative space.

    Cynthia,
As I (mis)understand it, you are needlessly worrying about the non background which appears white.
If so, View>Show Grid or View>Show Transparency Grid should set your mind at rest because either will show through.

  • Down payments status not cleared.

    Hi,
We are working with down payments by standard customizing. Everything works fine if the Down payment request has status cleared before the invoices, however If the down payment request still with status not cleared the following invoices doesnu2019t get the down payment and we can bill all the items from the milestone billing and if the down payment still not cleared it never appear in the invoices. So at the end the sales orders have sent to the client a bigger amount. That is a situation is wrong and  we would like to avoid in order to avoid a lot of problems with our clients because the system doesnu2019t give any warning informing about you have send to the client the 120% of the sales order, if we have bill a down payment request for 20%. Our understanding the system always should get the down payment in the invoices or at least give a warning when you finish the billing without clear the down payments. We would like to know the right way to manage this situation.
    Thank you and best regards.

    HI Venkat,
Sorry Venkat. It is the clarance in F-54 not the Revesal.
After clearance, the amount 29.000,00 is posted to Vendor Spl GL. So nullified this account.
Once cleared, the amount is posted to Normal Vendor ac as 34.510,00 (Doc 1700000043)
So this doc is not picked in Payment Run.
Invoice amount is 49.623,00-.  So the difference 15113 (49.623,00-34.510,00) should be cleared in Payment run. It is not done.
My assumption is there is the amount difference between Normal Vendor to Speial Vendor (34,510 - 29000).  Is it the cause to not picked the doc 1700000043 in payment run.
Please advise what I can do?
    Thanks
    Venkat

  • ME2DP & Down Payment Clearing LIV

    Dear All,
I am facing three issues while creating and clearing  down payment through ME2DP and MIRO.
1- While clearing down payment in MIRO, system is not clearing FI down payment document automatically. At the time of posting,, system generate two documents, one is Invoice and other is Down Payment.
2- After posting Invoice in MIRO with Down Payment clearing button, Status Red is activated in ME2DP which was green after creating down payment.
3- After executing all the entries from Procure to Payment, there is still Down Payment request outstanding in Purchase Order History.
    Waiting for reply!
    Regards
    AJ

    Hi Abdul,
The purpose of using ME2DP is you can enter down payment data in purchase orders at header and item level.
You can use the down payment clearing function to clear down payments that you have posted with reference to a purchase order directly in logistics invoice verification (without going to the relevant financial accounting transactions).
If you perform down payment clearing in logistics invoice verification, when you enter an incoming invoice for a purchase order, the system proposes all down payments that have been posted with reference to the purchase order and that are not yet completely cleared, for down payment clearing. The system posts the down payment clearing document together with the invoice document.
By using ME2DP you can avoid making the down payment clearing in financial accounting as it will get cleared while posting MIRO.
    Also, refer this note 1637282
Hope you will get some idea.
    Regards
    Shashi

  • Down payment is not cleared with clearing amount?

    Hi,
When I print the invoice after receiving down payment through F-29 and then clear this amount through F-39, and when I print the invoice for the same customer the Received amount for example $20 and cleared amount of $20 are printed as $40.
If some one help me to understand why this is happening ,and which field should show $0(or what ever the balance is), once the amount is cleared.
How to rectify this error in the invoice?
    I appreciate your feed back.
    wbr,
    Sunil

Hi Milind, The print is z development. The example is as follows, when we printed the Invoice for the customer,
Amount of invoice against the new sales order...$100
    Down payment received ...$40
    Balance .........................($60).
But earlier on we received down payment of $20, which was cleared by equal amount of $20.The amount of down payment should be now $0.
This is the issue, and then the Z report picks up this $20 amount which was received as down payment. Is there way we should pick up$0 in this field.Second question, where to pick this $0 and how to pick(any changes in the coding we have to make) for this $0 amount.
I hope this explanation is enough. Please let me know if you like to have more details.
    Thanks.

  • AuC Down Payment not clearing

    Hi Gurus,
The scenario is that we are using WBS elements to collect costs for AuC. So project Consumption POs were raised and down payments were made against them. Now at the year end some of these need to be settled to AuC.
This we did and down payments appeared on AuC through a default cost element mentioned in PS  IMG u2018Define default cost elements for down paymentsu2019. This vendor down payment element 7XXXXXX has no Company code segment.
We understand that these down payments are to be cleared but since the account assignment object in actual vendor down payment line item has WBS element and when we clear it through F-52, clearing doesnu2019t update (FI AA) asset data since no asset number is mentioned in actual vendor down payment line item. So it keeps throwing following error message.
Down payment to recipient 7011000002 0 area 01 amount        2,200.00 not cleared
    Message no. AW605
    Diagnosis
All downpayments were not cleared for the asset under construction for the receiver 7011000002 0 in area 01. An amount of        2,200.00 was not cleared, or too much was cleared.
You can only completely transfer an asset under construction if you reverse the down payments in the current fiscal year beforehand.
    Procedure
Clear the downpayments that you want to settle to receiver 7011000002 0.
Please help how to settle this without reversing downpayments as checks were issued to vendors already.

    Hi
Reverse the settlement of WBS to AUC, first of all....
Clear the downpayments, which would again post to WBS...
Now settle WBS to AUC and AUC to Final asset...

  • F-29 Down payment not clearing down payment request

    Hello,
I'm working to configure milestone billing plans in our sandbox environment. I'm able to create a sales order with the new order type that's linked to the billing plan, and I have successfully created the down payment request. I can see the two FM postings for value type 83 (the negative to 0100 and the positive to 0200). Then I post the F-29 down payment. I've referenced the sales order in the down payment. But I'm not seeing an FM posting for value type 58 to reduce the down payment request. The down payment request is not being cleared by the down payment. Do you have any suggestions for any of the following:
    - configuration I may have missed
    - information that may have been entered incorrectly on the F-29
I can see the uncleared down payment itself when I pull up the customer account of the payer. Did I miss a step to match up the F-29 to the down payment request? I've configured the step for automatic down payments in public sector management, and I made sure that the sales order type is the one indicated in that step and the document type of the F-29 is the down payment document type indicated in that step. Any guidance would be appreciated.
    Thank you,
    April

Check what is the accounting doc type for the down payment request.
If it is RV then use tcode F-28 to receive payment for the transaction, as you are receiving payment against invoice.
Hope this can assist you. Or contact your FI team member for understanding.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Clearing of down payments on assets from prior year

    Hello,
we have the following problem with an Asset under Construction (AuC) that has been migrated from a legacy system with down payments in a prior year.
Migration has taken place in 2007 (within the year). The down payment has not been cleared in 2007, but left on the asset for 2008. The clearing of the down payment on vendor side has already taken place in 2007.
When the AuC shall now be settled to a final asset via AIBU, the error message AW605 "Down payment to recipient YYYY area 01 amount XXXX not cleared" appears.
When the down payment on the Asset under Construction shall be cleared first with transaction ABSO (TType 181 "Clearing of down payments from current year"), the following error message appears: AA571 "Not possible to post down payment clearing. There are no down payments".
In our SAP Version 6.0 there is NO transaction type "Clearing of down payments from prior year", though.
Would appreciate any indication how to deal with the issue now - do we need to create a special transaction type for this purpose? If yes, how to configure the settings so that SAP knows to clear down payments from prior year?
Thanks very much in advance for any help!
    Gabi

I replied to your second post
But my question is then how does the down payment appears in the CJI3 report
Also, I am aware of your initial post. I feel, the details you gave is insufficient. You have just said there are two down payments made against a PO one is reflecting in WBSE another one is not. It will be difficult for others to suggest you a proper solution, You will have to give more detials as how you made the two down payments and you should tell us apart from appearing in WBSE what are all the other differences ..etc., You should give as much details as possible.
