Download error when apps page tries to load

The creative cloud app on my mac osx will not load the apps page, therefor I can not download any products. I have tried to re-install the creative cloud app, but it still won't work.

follow solution 2 here, CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed

Really frustrating. It worked for 2 days and since then I keep getting this error. There are no firewall issues etc.

  • Download Error on Apps page

I'm trying to load my apps page through Adobe Cloud but it isnt loading, instaed I get the Download Error sign. I seem to be online ok?
    My OS is OSX 10.8.5
Also does my Subscription allow for 2 users or just one?

    Hi Chris,
You can install and activate Creative Cloud desktop applications on two computers, regardless of operating system, for the individual associated with the Creative Cloud membership.
    For Download Error.
Try the following steps and let us know if it helps:
Please download and run Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
Run Creative Cloud Cleaner tool and choose option 3 and then option 1 to complete the cleaning process.
Once done please rename OOBE Folder from these locations to OOBE.old
         MAC: Macintosh HD>Library>Applciation support>Adobe>OOBE
Go to creative.adobe.com -> Download Center -> Download Creative Cloud
Let me know if it helps.
    Thanks!

  • Safari closes when a page tries to load

Is there any other way I can go online to get help while I'm on the Mac Mini?
Safari opens and closes within 30 secs, never allowing a page to load.  If I click the little icon to get the multiple website list, Safari will stay open but it looks like it's the actual connecting to the internet that causes the shut down.
I am not familair with Macs at all, I work on PCs.  This is my daughter's Mac Mini that she's had for several years but Ange is not a computer person so I'm trying to help.  We don't have the start up discs, this computer was bought used from a friend of hers who didn't turn them over.  I am really at a loss here.  If I was on my PC, I would try to uninstall the browser and reinstall using a trial application that would be already stored in the computer.  Once I had the trial installed, I could download the entire version and I'd be done.
Is there anything like that on a Mac?  Where should I be looking?  Help!!!

I think the easiest option under the circumstances is to make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine tested. It's a free service.
Back up all data on the internal drive(s) before you hand over your computer to anyone. If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you have at least two complete, independent backups, and you know how to restore to an empty drive from any of them.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.
*An SSD doesn't need to be zeroed.

First, turn off your CAPS lock.  Typing in all CAPS is considered screaming/yelling and many will simply ignore your posting.
Are you currently having issues?  Is it when trying to purchase only on the device?  Are you able to complete purchases via iTunes on your computer?

When i tap "update" on an app, or try and download a new app i get the loading wheel for around a second then it goes back to showing "update" and does nothing.  Any solutions for this?  This is relevant to an iPhone 5S running iOS 8

If you're really running iOS 8, you should be posting in the Developer's Forum, as you well know since you signed an NDA when you signed up for the Developer's program.

  • Get a "Download Error" when clicking on the "App" tab of Creative Cloud.

Get a "Download Error" when clicking on the "App" tab of Creative Cloud.

Yeah I finally had to call Adobe and some there did a screen share with me and they took care of it. I am running OSX 10.9.3 my issue was that the latex OSX update didn't communicate with the app. Like I said Adobe did a screen share with me and fixed it for me I think he just uninstalled and reinstalled and I want to say thats what took care of it.

You do not have enough to cover the cost of the app and the taxes

  • Download Error in Apps tab

It says Download Error when I click on the apps part of my CC widget. I click reload and it still won't go through, and says to contact customer support. I have tried restarting my computer, signing out and back in. Adobe chat was closed. I cannot update any of my apps.

Here is the download error. It doesn't have a code, I have no option to cancel and when I click 'reload applications' it gives me the same page. I've tried signing out and back in and I have a network connection. I can't find an uninstall for the CC downloader yet, I figure a fresh install may fix it.
