Download flash web page errors

I am using Chromium without flash player. I go to this page to install flash player http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and just get an empty div.

The issue is they cannot handle Windows 10 users. Page renders ok for Windows 7 users.

What browser and version are you using?
What format are the images you are trying to add? (.bmp, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg...?)
How large are the files?
Can you give me a step-by-step of the path you are taking to upload the files?
Have you tried uploading the files from a different location? (For instance, if they are in your My Documents folder, try moving them to your Desktop and upload from there.)
Using an FTP client is a valid workaround, but if there's something broken then Verizon or Trellix (or both) need to fix it.

I recently downloaded a web page but then i deleted history which deleted the web page. there is still a short cut to it but says file does not exist. can i retrieve this as web page no longer exixts

as the question states i downloaded a web page but before i put it on a memory stick i changed the options on my firefox and the file is no longer there.
there is a shortcut in the 'recently changed' folder in windows explorer but when i click on it it says the file has moved or no longer exists.
Is there anyway to retrieve this as the web page no longer exists

When downloading a Web page, Firefox includes ALL information on site, plus the Web page. I am forced to eliminate Firefox and return to Safari for saving individual page.

For further info, I have Safari as my Mac provider for the internet, and although I click on it, Firefox takes over when I wish to download a Web page. It saves two files--a folder, in which all kinds of massive-like data will appear, and a file with some of the information I wish to save from a page or two.
I've tried to select only the page I wish to save in several ways. However, nothing has worked until I take Firefox out of "Applications" and put it in the trash basket.
Ideally, I'd like Safari to be my default provider, and I'd like Firefox to be my secondary provider.
Please advise.

Did you try to save the page as "Web Page, HTML only" instead of "Web Page, complete", if that is what you want ?

Download a web page, how to ?

Can any one help me with code for downloading a web page given the url address ? I can download the page, but the problem is it doesn't download the associated images, javascripts etc. neither does it create an associated folder as one might expect when saving a page using browser.

So the answer is: yes, some crawlers do. I know for a fact that Heritrix can do this quite well, but it is a rather "large" crawler and can take a while to get to work with. But it really is one of the best (if bot the best) open source Java web-crawlers around.

When Generating Flash web pages; images files incorrectly reported as missing.

Using LR 2.2 or 2.3, <Web, Export, (to local directory > As Program executes, in the upper left corner of screen, LR displays tiny version of image being processed, and path of web image; THEN, upon completion, displays the following error message ---- Export did not complete successfully. Options selected in generating web page: - Flash gallery - Layout: paginated - large images size: large - thumbnail images size: large Machine data: Lightroom version: 2.3 [539407] Version: 10.5 [6] Application architecture: x86 Physical processor count: 8 Processor speed: 2.8 GHz Built-in memory: 6144.0 MB Real memory available to Lightroom: 4096.0 MB Real memory used by Lightroom: 616.5 MB (15.0%) Virtual memory used by Lightroom: 1197.2 MB Memory cache size: 801.8 MB Source files (on external firewire drives): |-- subdirectory 'Show name' - selected images - Dress rehearsal - performance 3 - performance 4 - performance 5 My History with bug: Using LR 2.2, web pages created successfully from 'Performance 5' and 'selected images', but not from others and got error messages as above. I am not expert in these, but please check out the following things and see whether it would solve your issue. (All these changes can be easily rolled back in case I'm wrong :). So make note of what you do)
As per your httpd.conf, you have chosen an automatic configuration of Apache by OWCI installer itself. What it does is create an imageserver.conf file in a separate directory and these settings will be included in your httpd.conf as you can see in the first line: Include "C:/bea/alui/plumtreeconf/".
If you check the imageserver.conf in that location, you would find a line like: Alias /imageserver/ "C:/bea/alui/ptimages/imageserver/". This aliases the original path "C:/bea/alui/ptimages/imageserver/" to /imageserver"
To confirm whether this is done right, check the following:
1. Acces 'http://<server ip / server name / localhost >/' from your browser
This should display the Apache home page (as per your httpd.conf, it uses the default port 80; so no port number required)
2. Access 'http://<server ip>/imageserver/' from your browser
This should display the directory structure (if its not disabled) inside your 'C:/bea/alui/ptimages/imageserver/' folder. Also confirm that all the subfolders are accessible.
3. If all the above is right, it means that your imageserver settings are right. Please check your portalconfig.xml for the correct settings: For example, <setting name="HTTPPort"> should be 7001 in your case. If its something else, change it and restart Weblogic for the settings to take effect.

Why does Firefox re-download a web page that has already appeared in my browser? VERY time-consuming! Chrome just saves from the cache!

Every time I go to save a web page or image, Firefox insists on re-downloading the page/image, which consumes a great deal of time. Chrome (and my other browsers) seem to save the item directly from the cache or memory, which is MUCH FASTER! Is there an option to make Firefox save more rapidly, ie directly from cache or memory, so I don't have to sit (and swear and fume) while the file is being RE-downloaded??

600+ MB does sound like a lot, but that depends on what you are using as your homepage, and how much of that 600 is being used by the plugin container - Flash and other plugins. Also, using that amount might have to do with how much RAM you have installed - the more RAM installed and the more Firefox allows itself to use. If you have AVG 2012 installed and the AVG Advsior is giving you that message, see this:

How can I get a Japanese flash web page to display 100% correctly?

I've tried everything I can think of but I can't get some of this web site's font to display correctly. Some of the flash shows in the correct, Japanese, characters, but some of it shows as code. If I log in as a different user, and set that user's International Language preferences to Japanese, the web page displays correctly. But, when I change users, and go back to the English user, the page displays in a mix of Japanese and messed-up code.

the writing appears as Japanese in the box, at the bottom of the map.
But, if you click on that map, and zoom in 3-times, to the city level, the font in the box under the hourly weather and weekly weather appears as code, and not Japanese.
I'm guessing that it is a problem with the computer booting-up as being English or Japanese, and the browser, then not being able to detect which version of flash to run, the Japanese or English version, cannot display the font correctly.
Why does it happen only on some pages and not all of the pages on that site?
Can it be fixed?
If so, how?

Yeah, I tried Opera and Firefox, but I get the same garbled text. The only thing that makes that page open and display correctly is switching to a different user, and making that user's main language Japanese, in the international settings.
Of course none of this is all that important, I mean, it's about viewing a weather page, but I am just curious why some of the Flash is read or written so that an English language set user can see some of it displayed correctly, but not all of it, where as a user set to Japanese language settings can get all pages correctly.
I know it has to do with how the Flash Macromedia sees the main language setting for the computer, but what I don't get, is how come a user using Japanese as the main language can read English and Japanese Flash pages (pages with English commanded Java come up correctly), but using English as the main language only allows me to view Flash pages written using English commands. Can I change my Flash program to read Japanese pages, without changing my computers main language to Japanese? Or am I stuck with a Flash program that must match the main language the user is using?

Firefox frequently has problems completely downloading complete web pages. It often takes several clicks of the "save as" button to save more than a few bytes or kb of a web page.

OS is Windows 2000. Problem is with websites in general. Pictures are frequently missing or are blank unless download is attempted more than once. Ads are frequently downloaded as blank.areas. No problems downloading text only sites. PDF file downloads are sometimes stopped.
When web pages are printed using HP software, sometimes the printing is "padded" before and after with blank pages, or the range of pages is incomplete both in the printing review and the printed results. This does not happen when printing from the IE browsers supported by the OS.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
