Dreamweaver Widget Browser for Html5 video player not working
Html5 video player (kalturaPlayer) not working on server. It works fine in Dreamweaver Live View. Need to get this resolved soon for client's web page.
Here is my code:
<figure> <div>
<video width="640" height="360" poster="NewFiles/images.tdrbcf/home/2012/denise4video2.jpg" duration="2:04" preload="auto" >
<source type="video/h264"> <source src="NewFiles/images.tdrbcf/video/liv-fab-well.mp4" width="640" height="360" />
<source type="video/webm"> <source src="NewFiles/images.tdrbcf/video/liv-fab-well.webm" width="640" height="360" />
<source type="video/ogg" >>
<source src="NewFiles/images.tdrbcf/video/liv-fab-well.ogv" width="640" height="360" />
</video>
</div></figure>
I'm not as familiar with editing the script ... so I left it alone. Could there be an error there, do the video player files need to be in a particular location and are there some servers that do not support the kalturaPlayer?

Anyone have a fix for Facebook video chat not working in Mavericks?
I have seen many people having the problem of video chat not working in Facbook since upgrading to Mavericks. The good news is the camera icon has reappeared, but it still is not working.
Any help would be AWESOME!!
thxHi,
If it is in Messages it will need to be Messages to Messages.
i.e. a Mac Buddy also using iChat or Messages to do Jabber Video chats in the app.
This means it will not connect to someone using a Jabber app that can do Video or the web Page login and using "chat" from there.
I believe the Web Browser method with Facebook's own end to end connection use Flash.
You may need to update a version of Flash if your have it or install it if you do not.
FaceTime would not connect to the Jabber connections that Facebook is running.
FaceTime is it's own service and does not connect to others.
Messages and FaceTime are run on different servers and you can in fact run different IDs in each.
(this can causes issues when your Invoke a FaceTime Video Chat from Messages which presumes the Contact is using the same ID).

Help, I can't get my laptop to play a DVD. I've tried uninstalling the driver and letting windows reainstall at reboot, but that didn't help. My Toshiba video player also will not load completely. It will come up, but the blue wheel just keeps turning. I have no idea how to troubleshoot...fix this thing. Any help will be greately appreciated.
Your support page is here - http://support.toshiba.com/support/modelHome?freeText=1200005637
Go to control panel, then programs and features, and Un install the Toshiba Video player.
Then install the Toshiba Video player, this is the newest one listed on your support page - http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/content/support/downloads/os2014110a_tc30709800a.exe
If it is a Blu-ray drive mine runs alot slower then a DVD drive and will take longer to load the video or open other content and you will need to download the Toshiba Blu-ray player, the newest one listed for you is here - http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/content/support/downloads/os2014110a_tc30709200a.exe

Video player not working on iPhone 5
Hello! Recently I have been having trouble viewing videos on my safari web browser. When I am watching a video, the same scenes repeat at least thrice throughout the whole video, and I am not able to watch the full length video properly. This applies to all the videos I watch except for YouTube videos and I'm not sure why. I have tried watching various videos and they are all the same. It can play well for the first minute but shortly after the scenes would be repeating themselves. I have tried watching the same videos on my computer and the video seems fine so I think that the problem lies with the iPhone. Has anyone experienced anything similar?
Please help me! Do I send my phone in for a repair or is it just a bug?

Iphone for VGA Video Out not working
We have the Iphone/iPad VGA to Monitor connector. We tested it with 3 different iPhone 4 phones... It worked on 2 of them, but the 3rd woudn't work. What possible reason would it not work? The 3 phones had software of 4.3 and higher...
Dr. L,
The previous iPod's did not support component video out for newer televisions that support it. The box for the older Video out cables do not say they support the iPhone.
The current video out cables are available in either component or composite video out. They also say they support the iPhone on the box.
In addition when shopping the Apple Store online for iPod or iPhone accessories there is a compatibility guide which shows icons of the iPod models or iPhone that are supported.
Overall my personal experience is that this, and other Apple specific ones, are much smaller compatibility, and downtime driver for IT than many of them I have run across supporting a variety of computer and networking platforms over the last 23 years.
Hope this helps,

Need help with coding for HTML5 Video with Flash fallback
Hello, need help with my coding in Dreamweaver CS5.5 for HTML5 video with Flash fallback. Not sure if the coding is correct. Do I need anything else Javascipt etc?
The reason you see a blank page is because it's trying to load the file that is pretty humungous and there is no preloader. So, you see a white screen till it complets loading.
Also, the reason why its loading a SWF file and not any of HTML5 type video is because your doctype declaration is XHTML1.0 and not HTML5.
Change the 1st line in your .html file from:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
to:
<!DOCTYPE html>
Then see if your HTML5 video types load with <video> tag. -

I did this and now my videos are not working. They show the pictures aren't there on some and on others it shows they are there, but doesn't show them in the player. When I try to Share anything it just says Waiting for Processing for hours. What do I do?
I also got Motion and can't figure out how to use it with Final Cut Pro X. Any help woud be great. ThanksI have no idea what may have caused your MacBook to stop working, but from your description it kind of sounds like it may have started before you ran Software Update and installed the new Apps. Just the general slow feeling and bugginess is what tips me off. You said that you weren't sure if you had closed all open windows, that doesn't matter if the computer restarts itself. It automatically closes all other open applications when restarting.
As to your data being retrievable, if when you take it in they do a fresh install of the OS, then no, it will not be unless you want to pay several thousand dollars to a software retrieval company.
I am glad to hear that you have taken into the Apple Store to get it fixed, and that you have all of your purchased music backed up to your iPod. You should be able to just transfer it all back to iTunes once you get your computer back should it be necessary.
As a side note, the proper place for this topic would probably in the MacBook forums, not iTunes since there is no evidence that iTunes started the issue. -
Hello,
I have the latest version of Captivate 7. I am developing a course that is using embbeded mp4 video that has been encoded using the Adobe video encoder. My understanding is that with the latest update you have now included a default HTML5 Video player skin hoverver I can not see one displaying in any of the modern browsers when I preview or publish my course out.
I have also noticed that when I publish out my HTML5 course you are not using the controls tag to bring up default modern browser HTML5 video player controls! http://www.w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml5_video_all
HTML5 is the new standard! Come on guys if you want to make Captivate the market leader in eLearning then you have to be bringing out updates with the latest html5 support I would like to see captivate as a fully HTML5 compatible product in th enext big release
If there is no solution withing captivate at the moment can you show me how I can utalise a 3rd party JS HTML5 video player such as VideoJS http://www.videojs.com/ and use it with my published HTML5 Captivate Project.
ThanksThe HTML 5 Video Player Widget is still available, I think you are running into an intermittent issue a couple others reported.
In Widget Browser, try clearing the Cache by clicking the "Options" button in top right and then the "Clear Cache" button.
Then go to 'Adobe Exchange" and click on the "HTML 5 Video PLayer" widget again.
If it still displays an error ignore it.
Hit Add to My Widgets and try it out.
Let us know if that doesn't fix the problem. I think the download file type may not be set correctly looking into fixing that on the server.

Flash Player not working in any browser.
I am running Windows 7 x64 and have no pending windows updates.
When I go to:
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html
I can see the two indicators that tell me that I have Flash installed.
I recently got my motherboard back from an RMA and installed an extra GPU and a new PSU (running an HD 6850 and HD 6870 in CrossfireX). Ever since the upgrade, flash player has crashed any time I try to view a youtube video in any browser, or any time I've tried to log into League of Legends (Which I believe runs on Adobe Air). I have tried updating my graphics drivers and also reverting them to older drivers, as well as updating flash/air and reverting them as well. I have also gone into Chrome://plugins and disabled/enabled in almost every combination possible - to no avail.
Any help? The HTML5 video loaded perfectly and even worked every single time when I refreshed. The non-HTML5 video didn't work no matter how many times I tried again.
Also, I had LoLReplay the first time I tried, and then reinstalled windows completely (was about time for a fresh start anyways) and have not reinstalled LoLReplay but I'm still having the same problem.
I will update this post with my DXdiag information shortly.
EDIT:
Also, I have tried disabling/enabling hardware acceleration and it seems to make no difference. I have tried disabling CrossfireX or using just one or the other of the graphics cards as well but that seems to make no difference as well

-Hi, i think I've manage to solve the problem by following the instruction on the following page
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html

HTML5 video player won't load YouTube videos (and probably nothing else either)
When I request that YouTube use the HTML5 video player for videos, no videos will load - I have to switch to Adobe Flash for anything to play. The page for a video will finish loading and I'll just sit there watching the loading spiral of death ceaselessly. I've tried a number of suggestions from other threads with similar issues and nothing's helped.
- Safe Mode does NOT fix the problem (so it's not an add-on or script issue)
- Clearing cookies/cache does not work
- Toggling the media.windows-media-foundation.enabled setting does nothing
- Disabling hardware acceleration also does nothing
I'm at my wit's end. Flash will hang and crash REALLY often so I don't want to use it, but it's the only thing that works for YouTube. Please help. You have to download and install Adobe Flash. Flash is not pre-installed.
