Dryer delivery and Installation

I an thinking about getting a new dryer from best buy.  It is on sale and says free delivery.  Does this include installation and haul away or do I need to somehow order this separately?  Thanks, Jo 

Does it just say free delivery?  When I purchased mine in 2011 it also said free delivery and they installed it as well.  You will need to purchase a new cord though, they do not install existing cords only new ones for safety reasons.  I think gas requires a separate install fee or a licensed plumber.

  • Awful Experience with Delivery and Installation of Appliances from BBY

    I went to the Best But in College Park, MD on 02 March 2015 with the intention of buying an appliance suite (refrigerator, range, and dish washer). A sales associated assisted me promptly upon entering the store, and I let him know what I needed to purchase and that I would need delivery, installation, and haul away for all three items. He stated that the delivery, installation, and haul away was included with the price of all three items, and we scheduled my initial delivery date for 13 March 2015.
    The evening before my delivery, 12 March 2015, I got a call from the Geek Squad giving me a three hour window they would be there to deliver and install my items. In going over the order with the representative I asked if the same crew dropping off the appliances would be installing the plumbing for the dishwasher. Contrary to what I was told in the store at the time of purchase, the representative on the phone notified me that a dishwasher installation was not sold to me and the following day the only thing the crew would be doing is dropping off the dishwasher. She then instructed me to call the store to see if there was any adjustments that could be made that would not change my delivery date the following day.
    So, I call the store and explain what is going on to the representative in customer service. He instructs me that he cannot add the installation on to the order for the next day because the route has already been made and the warehouse told him its too late to change. So, instead he, in conjunction with his manager, said he can add the dishwasher install for a later date that I was available, but the delivery of the range and the refrigerator would remain for the following date. After about 45 minutes we work through the kinks and he lets me know he will call me back the following day to give me a solidified date and time that the dishwasher can be installed.
    So, the following day comes and the time frame for my delivery and installation of the range and refrigerator comes and goes without hearing a word from Best But or the Geek Squad. So, I call customer service and the rep I'm speaking with lets me know that whatever the in-store rep did over the phone the following night put the entire order into reschedule and nothing would be delivered to me that day. Imagine my frustration because I've taken off from work to take possession of appliances that AREN'T GOING TO SHOW UP. Immediately, I hang up with customer service and go into the store where I originally purchased the appliances. I was told it did in fact get pushed into reschedule and my only option was to reschedule the delivery AGAIN. After working with both the rep and the General Manager in-store I was able to get the delivery rescheduled for 23 March 2015 with the dishwasher installation added to the order for free since it was an error caused by a Best Buy employee.
    On 21 March 2015, I got the calls from the automated system giving me my three hour window the installers would be there on the 23rd of March to install my items. On 23 March 2015, the crew with the refrigerator and the range showed up first. They asked me to come to the truck upon arrival because there was some issue with the refrigerator and they wanted me to see it before they unloaded it and brought it up to my home. The refrigerator of course shows up badly dented on the door, so I refuse it because I haven't gone through all of this to take possession of a damaged product. The delivery man let me know that if I did take possession of it, they would offer me some discounts because it was damaged. I said no thanks and he called customer service for me to speak with a woman at the warehouse about the damaged product. The woman at the warehouse said she was going to check their inventory and call me back within a few moments to reschedule a new unit to be sent out. They install the range without an issue. Next, the dishwasher team shows up and that goes off without a hitch. Of course, I didn't hear back from anyone at the warehouse at all that evening to reschedule the delivery of a new refrigerator.
    All in all, this has been a HORRIBLE experience with Best Buy. As a loyal Elite Status Rewards Zone customer and a former employee of the Best Buy in College Park, MD, I can say after this appliance experience, Best But has lost a lifelong customer. The level of customer service I received was sub-par and their attempts to correct an issue that started with their employee giving me improper information about installation being included in the price of all the appliances made the situation worse. I ended up returning the refrigerator because I refuse to wait any longer or go through anymore drama in order to take possession of something I paid for twenty days ago and can't receive because of Best Buy's inability to get their act together. I ended up purchasing a refrigerator from Sears immediately after cancelling my order for the one from Best Buy and it was delivered next day and damage free.

    The purchase and delivery of new appliances should be exciting and fun and not result in the kinds of tribulations that you describe. Our representatives should ensure that you have everything you need for a successful delivery and installation and I was surprised to read that the did not. I apologize for your having to cope with this frustrating experience.
    I was gratified to read that the store's general manager was able to work with you to help assuage some of the problems that were created. It was regrettable that the refrigerator arrived damaged, but I was happy to hear that the delivery and installation of the other appliances went smoothly.
    Although I understand your reasons, I was dismayed to read that you elected to purchase your refrigerator from a competitor and that this experience may influence your future shopping destination. It is my hope that you will give Best Buy another chance one day soon.

  • Great TV Delivery and Installation!

    A few days back I ordered a Sony 60" TV from my local store and ordered free delivery.  They called the evening before witha two hour window.  Then called this morning saying that they were ahead of schedule and could they come early? (yes!)  Box arrived in perfect condition, they removed my huge old tube TV, and brought the new TV in.  Unboxed it and took all of the packing materials with them.  They hooked the TV up and turned it on, and SET MY CABLE BOX REMOTE TO WORK WITH THE NEW TV.  We checked the picture which is perfect and signed some papers.  They were friendly and polite throughout, and were not at all rushed.  When they left I was 100% functional  Job well done!  Tom and associate at store 573, who left me his phone number.  I am a very happy camper.

  • Terrible delivery and customer service

    My fridge broke so I went to the best buy in Roseville CA to get a new one on friday 10/17/14.  Found an open box one that my wife and I liked and negotiated a deal for about $1887 total (that included 5 yr geed squad).  They say it will be delivered on thursday the 23 and they will call the day before to set up delivery time.  Wednesday comes around and no call so I call about 7:30 pm to schedule.  After I spent about 45 minutes getting transfered around and on hold, they tell me I cancelled the order on Saturday and need to come in and re-purchase.  (Suprise to me since I made no said call). My wife goes in and they said it was a computer error.  For us to purchase the fridge we chose, they would have to send it back up to the store and re-sell it to us and that would take atleast another week. So instead of doing that, they opt to sell us a new one for the same price and say it will be delivered on the monday the 27th.  Sunday morning comes around and I receive a call (at least) saying it will not be delivered on monday and it has been moved to wednesday the 29th. Sunday evening, I receive a call saying it will be delivered monday between 11am and 3pm. I have to take an hr off work to wait for them and they never showed up.  I receive another call that night saying tuesday, it never shows. Get a call tuesday night saying wednesday is cancelled and need to be scheduled to friday.  My wife goes back down to the store wednesday night and they inform her that the order has been cancelled for the 2nd time.  They find another open box of the same fridge and they inform my wife that they are throwing in the warranty and installation for free. That drops the price to around $1600.  They also arrange to have their magnolia van and a couple guys deliver it instead of using the appliance people.  On thursday the 30th, I finally receive my fridge, with no screws to put the handles on.  I go in on the 31st to see if I can get some screws, and they say they have to be ordered and wil be about a week. I wait 3 weeks and return on november 21st to ask about the screws. Stil no screws have came in, so a worker goes and pulls them off another unit and gives them to me to put on myself.  That friday night, I go back in to talk to them about my credit card bill for the fridge. They did not take off the warranty or the instillation and it is the original price of $1887.  I explained this to them, and their response was since I got such a good deal to take it or I can return it.  After 6 weeks of not having a complete fridge and was told one thing, they did not live up to anything they told me about. Oh and my $135 installation charge was for 1 magnolia installer and the store security guard plugging it in and screwing on the water line.  I guess thats professional instillation for them.  I have not received a single call from the delivery people or any type of apology.  None of the managers came to speak with us while in store.  They used their staff as a go between. Supposedly one of the employees sent and email to the delivery service to argue on or behalf, but I'm not holding my breath.  He said they would call today, surprise no call.  Will never shop there again and I am telling everyone who will listen my story.

  • Awful Delivery and Set-up and very poorly trained employees

    We purchased a Samsung Range and Refrigerator and a Bosch Dishwasher.  Sales Associate AND Sales order state that appliances would be installed and set up (with an additional charge for dishwasher installation) In fact, I went to the store and talked to appliance salesperson and I attempted to cancel the purchase of the cord. I was told that Best Buy would not install without the new cord so I kept the cord on my order.
    Appliances delivered on 11/13.  Frig is not level!  Delivery person said it cannot be leveled ...doors hang unevenly.
    Delivery refused to install range. They said they do not install drop in ranges (it isn't a drop in ...the range is a slide in_  Left range in the middle of kitchen. I had to move it the next day.
    Since I cancelled installation of dishwasher, delivery left it crated in middle of kitchen. They did not even "unveil" it to see if it was damaged.
    I explained that water line for frig was just installed and it might be safer for plumber to hook up water supply (in case there was an issue)   Then delivery refused to leave the water line.
    I called Warehouse and they said that regardless of what the invoice/order stated, they do not install slide in ranges.
    I called Avon, Oh store where range was purchased and eventually (20 minutes later ) was permitted to talk to a manager who said he had no control over installation but could probably get it done in the next few days(it was Thursday already).  I then called Corporate (turned out it is just a call center) and Susan (at call center) called appliance manager at store and he called back and said range and frig would be installed and set up on 11/14.   Then on 11/14 I heard nothing on frig service call so I called delivery and they never received a work order.  Then I called store and Edwin, appliance manager,  wasn't in.  Then I tried to call Susan (who told me to call her back if there were issues) and I found out  you cannot reach a specific person at call center so I talked to Luis, explained the entire situation, and he said he would call back in 15 minutes.  I heard nothing so an hour later I called store again and another manager spoke to me.  He said he would call me back (He did not).  I called him again  and he told me to contact Christie (removed per forum guidelines) at corporate and gave me her "personal" number.  Number was a switch board and her name wasn't in the director...I called manager back and he told me Megan would help me. Megan told me a Tracy (removed per forum guidelines) would call me.  Two hours later I called Megan back and told her Tracy hadn't called me.  Megan said she would call Tracy and that she, Megan, would call me back.  An hour later I hadn't heard from Megan, I called and she left for the day.  It is now after 6 PM.  THe stove will get installed tonight (just got a call from the installer....who, by the way, according to Megan is not qualified to set up the frig.)....but the frig issue is totally unresolved!!   I am truly sick of this.   Best Buy does not train their employees nor do the employees give a darn about customer service.  Because of Best Buy I had to rearrange other tradesmen (we are remodeling) at a big inconvenience to everyone.

  • Link between Delivery and Sales Order Schedule Line

    Hi Gurus,
    I have a requirement in which i need to display quantity and amount at schedule line level and also the delivery and delivery item for each schedule line.
    For example, if there is a sales order O1 and item 10 for which we have 3 schedule lines and 3 deliveries as well say D1, D2 and D3.
    Report should be something like this
    Sales Order    Item   Schedule Line    Delivery    Del Item   Confirmed Order Qty
    O1                 10      1                       D1           10            5
    O1                 10       2                      D2            10            5
    O1                 10       3                      D3            10            4
    How can i determine that a particular delivery corresponds to which schedule line of that saler order-item?
    We have the link between delivery and sales order but is there any way that we can get the link of delivery at schedule line level?

    I suppose you must check with SD functional consultant and the post should also be in the logistics SD forum and not BI. But I suppose there is know specific link between the schedule line of SO to the Delivery. It is more like a bucket flow for ex.
    Sale order   Item    Schedule line  qty
    SO1            Item1     Sch1            10
    SO2            Item1      Sch2           10
    Delivery Item QTy
    DO1       IT1   15
    DO2       IT1    5
    In this case qty 15 is distributed over both SO1 and SO2, and SO2 ITem1 Sch2 has link to both the DOs
    So I am not sure if you can establish a one to one link, please check with your SD consultants.

    hello,
    I need clarification  on the following.
    There are two different things. one is free of charge delivery and the other is free goods.
    1) for free of charge delivery, order type is  FD , I think we have to maintain TANN(with pricing as B,100% discount). This will trigger R100 as 100% discount condition in pricing procedure. Am i right ?
    2) The other is Free goods determination(OR order type). where free goods condition records are maintained and gets determined in sales order. for this scenario,  TAN and TANN (100% disc) is maintained in item caterory determination. I think in this case NRAB is required and not R100 in pricing ? am i right ? ..

  • Crystal Report for Sales, Delivery and Payment.

    Hi Guys,
    Need some expert advice over here. Currently, our sales team are using 3 separate report, one report on sales per month for each specific customers, one report on delivered amount per month for specific customers again and the last one report on payment received per month for specific customers as well.
    We have the idea of joining this 3 report so that I can report on sales, delivery and payment all at once so that they can see the trend better. However, after trying for quite a few times, we fail to create a common joining between ORDR, ODLN and ORCT. Is there any possible way to work something out ?
    I have thought of using subreport, but I just cant find the way to plug in the figure correctly.
    Need some advice over there.

    Based on what you have told me, then you should then join Sales Order, Delivery, Invoice and Incoming Payments into one.
    The reason I say Invoice table also is because, you cannot directly link Delivery and Incoming Payments window.
    Also you it is not enough that you link the ORDR, ODLN and ORCT, you will need to get the details from RDR1 and DLN1.
    In SAP Business One, each line in SAP Business One can have a different Delivery documnet.
    The TrgetEntry, TargetType will give you this information. For example, if a line for Sales Order has TargetType 15, then TrgetEntry will be the DocEntry in the ODLN. But if it TargetType is 13 it means the Sales order was converted directly to and Invoice and bypassed the creation of Delivery step, which is possible in SAP.
    So here is how I think you will need to link Sales order and Delivery
    RDR1.TrgetEntry INNER JOIN DLN1.DocEntry AND
    RDR1.TargetType INNER JOIN DLN1.ObjType AND
    RDR1.LineNum INNER JOIN DLN1.BaseLine
    Now this could get a little more complicated if you do partial deliveries. For example if a line in your Sales Order has say 10 items and 6 of them are delivered using Delivery Note 123 and the remaining are delivered using Delivery Note 124, then the join will give you 2 different lines.
    So basically you will need to link the tables in this fashion
    ORDR <-> RDR1 <-> DLN1 <-> INV1 <-> RCT2 <-> ORCT
    Unfortunately, this linking process can get complicated if you do not follow certain steps, like for example if you do not create a Delivery Note and converted your Sales order to Invoice. Then the link would be
    ORDR <-> RDR1 <-> INV1 <-> RCT2 <-> ORCT
    I hope I didn't confuse you.

    Hi,
    I think you should chek if there is stock.
    If there is stock qty then I assume that there is a conflict with other sales order that might have been entered before you have created the delivery.
    In this case it would be wrong to post goods on stock.
    the right way to manage this situation is to reschedule the already confirmed sales order and post your goods issue.
    TC needed : CO06 to cancel an exisiting scheduled order
    In order to have a complete overview of the order situation with the option to link in the Co06 you can also process the TC V_RA
    hope this will help however you should check your ATP settings

    I have a problem after creating a sale order , the one line item in sale order showing status of delivery blocked and billing blocked , now i am unable to post delivery and billing when i see in schedule line item order qty and confirmed qty .
    Now i want to find why this is blocked and remedy for removing this block .
    Could anyone suggest me in this issue asap

    Dear Kanna,
    Go to XD02 at the toppage you will find Extras
    In that Extra Topage  you will find a field   Blocking Data.
    Check whether Order block and Delivery Block has been ticked.
    If ticked is there remove the tick and try Delivery and Billing.
    If you have any concerns revert back the same to me

    I want to create a program which will create SALES ORDER , then make DELIVERY of it and then BILLING  .
    Also i want to restrict the sale order to be create of those CUSTOMER whose credit limit is exceed , which is maintain in FD32 tcode .
    If i go with BDC for Sales order it creates the sales order with a warning message , which i dont want .
    Is there any BAPI for doing this ?
    I do have try to find out the customer whose credit limit are exceed so as to restrict them in Program itself , but do not find the table for credit exposure to compare it with credit limit .
    Please give me your Suggestion .
    Secondly , Which BAPI is suitable for DELIVERY and BILLING in 4.7 version .

    VBFA has VBELV and POSNV can be used to map VBAP (sales order item) i.e.
    VBFA-VBELV = VBAP-VBELN AND
    VBFA-POSNV = VBAP-POSNV
    with VBTYP_N = J Values available in VBFA-VBELN and VBFA-POSNN will be LIPS -VBELN and LIPS-POSNR
    VBTYP_N/ VBTYP_V = J stands for delivery and C stands for order
