DS 3.2 BW Load: Empty records in BW

Hi All,
i'm using DS 3.2 an BW 7.01 SP 5. I use the RFC Sever via Management Console and the configuration and connection between both is fine. ( my source was: https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BOBJ/Loading+BW)
After running the Infopackages i get a green request in the PSA but with empty records. I've tried switching between "Compare by name or by position" in the DS Designer mapping without success. I keep the mapping easy, i've tried with just a constant or just few Fields ...

DNSMaint not clearing out empty records

NW65 SP8 .DNSmaint.nlm version is 1.0 2004. We are trying to get this
process to work. all of the parameters are set correctly and the utility
runs. there are no errors but also none of the empty records are clearing
out. here is the command we are using. The user created for this process has
full rights. The partition in question has a read / write.

Loading 361000 records at a time from csv file

Hi,
One of my collegue loaded 361000 records from one file file , how is this possible as excel accepts 65536 records in one file
and even in the infopackage the following are selected what does this mean
Data Separator   ;
Escape Sign      "
Separator for Thousands   .
Character Used for Decimal Point   ,
Pls let me know

it just possible, other than ms-excel, we have editor like Textpad that support more 65k rows (and windows Notepad), the file may be generated by program or edited outside in excel, or newer version of excel is used, ms-excel 2007 support more 1 million rows.
e.g we have csv file
customer;product;quantity;revenue
a;x;"1.250,25";200
b;y;"5.5";300
data separator ;
- char/delimeter used to separate field, e.g
escape sign, e.g
- "1.250,25";200 then quantity = 1.250,25
separator for thousands = .
- 1.250,25 means one thousand two hundred ...

BW Extraction using DS returning empty records

Hi
I am trying to extract data using BO DS 3.2 into BW 7.0. I am using BW as well as ECC 6.0 as a source in two separate jobs. I have setup a new source system which for BO DS in BW.
The RFSserver is up and running
However whenever I am running the extract I am getting empty records i.e. records do get extracted but they are blank. The job runs successfully in BO DS. I cna see it in BW in rsmo as having run successfully.
I have tried extracting to a flat file from BO DS and that returns records
I have tried debugging by setting a breakpoint just after my transorm and just before it passes data to the transfer stucture. In all positions I am able to see data exept in my final target. In the PSA also i am getting null records.
I have used an ABAP flow as weel as a normal Data Flow.
Any help would be appretiated

Yes you can use ABAP DF inside normat data flow to extract the SAP ECC data into BODS. put SAP tables and join them with relevant queries. jott your queries with Data transport to hold the data. This all will be inside a single ABAP data flow.
for BW Integration you have to use open hub destinationa mechanism. also see below link for modelling a connection between BO & BW

you can do it with SE16 / SE16N or, if exists, via the maintenance tool SM30.
Out of an excel sheet with the same structure can can copy the entries completey by cut & paste.

Load multiple records in 1 table from 1 line in text file w/sql loader

hi guys,
quick question, perhaps someone can help. searched around and didn't see this question asked before, and can't find any answer in SQL Loader faqs or docs.
i know i can extract multiple logical records from a single physical record in the input file as two logical records, and then use two into tables clauses to load the data into the table. see oracle 9i sql loader control file reference chapter 5 to see what i am talking about.
but my question follows:
cust_id amount1_val amount1_qual amount2_val amount2_qual amount3_val amount3_qual
123 1500.35 TA 230.34 VZ 3045.50 TW
basically i want to use one sql loader statement to load these 3 records into 1 table. the issue for me is that i need to re-use the cust_id for all 3 records as the key, along with the qualifier code. the example in the Oracle docs only works for data where the logical records are completely separate -- no shared column values.
i'm sure this is possible, perhaps using some :cust_id type parameter for the 2nd and 3rd records, or something, but i just don't have enough knowledge/experience with sql loader to know what to do. appreciate any help.

Infopackage loads 0 record in process chain as BG job not running correctly

Hi Experts,
I have scheduled a daily process chain for Purchasing.
The infopackage in the process chain loads 0 records from R/3 and shows green status but data is available in R/3. Its a FULL update.
But when I load the data manually the infopackage fetchs the record form R/3.
When I checked the background job in R/3 that loaded 0 records, the job gets finished abruptly without fetchig any data.
Please find the job log below:

Hi Prasanth,
If the background jobs are not availbale when IP is triggered then the BG job will ot be executed and the IDOCs will get struck.
Once we push the IDOc only the BG job will be executed until then the PC will wait with yellow status.
Hence this is not the issue with the non availability of BG WP.
Also for last one week this issue was happening but today the job executed successfully through the Process chain itself.
Then it shows this is not the issue with PC also.
The job is executed using RFCUSR.
Please suggest what would be the possible cause for this issue.

Empty Record in Export

DRM Gurus:
I am new to DRM so please forgive my naive question.
When running an export, we are getting an empty record that just contains the fine "Y" but none of the other fields.
Do you know what could cause this? We did inactivate a record, so would we get an empty row like this for the inactivate a record? How can we get the record to show up in the export (since the end users do want inactive to be included).

Hello Mark,
Does the export include a Query Filter ?? If so, then go to the Query Definition and check if there are any properties selected on the "Columns" tab, or if the "Include criteria properties" check box is checked
- Un-check the check box and remove any properties if selected on columns tab in Query definition.

In the PBO Module which is called before the LOOP on Table control .
Give the code like this..
DESCRIBE TABLE ITAB.
if OK_CODE = 'ADD'.
TABCON-LINES = SY-TFILL + 1.
ELSE.
TABCON-LINES = SY-TFILL .
ENDIF.
This will give the Additional line always when you click the ADD(some) button.

It seems the info package which you have in the process chain is not working properly .
Just follow the following steps
Take the info package name which you used when your doing manual run include it in the process chain and remove the existing info package which is there in the process chain and as usual activate it and run it.

Error when loaded the records to the datatargets

I am using 3.5 version.
Master data have been loaded successfully
I have created a infosource to load the transaction data
Created a ODS and Done the update rules and also created Infocube (update rule also done).
Flow is like from Infosource to ODS and from ODS to infocube.
I have a flat file of 22 records.Created a infopackage and under update tab i have choosen initialize delta and then loaded the records.Records loaded successfully.
Again i create a infopackage and under update tab i have choosen delta and then loaded the records.Now is am adding 2 more records along with the 22 records so the total is 24 records.I am getting the following errors.Dont know how to proceed further.
Errors:
Full 2.069 has overlapping selections with init. 0000002064: No updates into DSO_DMH
Activation of M records from DataStore object DSO_DMH terminated

Can not create planning function types (for process empty records)

Hi! SAP Experts,
I want to copy 0RSPL_FORMULA to another function types for processing empty records, ZRSPL_FORMULA. I checked this function type via RSPLAN, there is no error!. But when i try to use it in planning modeler. We found the error message "Infoobject 1FORMULA is does not available in version A". Do we need to create this infoobject?... Anyone know, please let me know.

Thanks for your help but I've already put that parameter,HIDDENFORMULAVARTAB->1FORMULA, in my planning function, ZRSPL_FORMULA. I validated it and no error found. But when I go to planning modeler, in web browser, and try to create a new planning function based on ZRSPL_FORMULA. I found the problem as I mention in previous message, "infoobject 1FORMULA is not available in version A". I try to search this infoobject in my system. The result is there is no this infoobject in my system. So, my question is do i need to create it with myself? What kind of infoobject i have to create? Key Figures or Characteristics?
Anyway, If I have to do this, why 0RSPL_FORMULA still used as normal.
