Any ideas?Hi Rick,
Firstly, please try to fully patch the terminal server, and disable third party software if there’s any installed.
If the issue persists, please check whether KB2984976 is installed, if yes, please remove it.

I build an application exe and then its installer along with run time environment.
The installers instals the application correctly but when I try to execute the application, I get an error that application has crashed and Windows must close it down or search for solutions online with this additional information for the crash.

I tried another machine, 64 bit of course, as I want to deploy my application on a 64bit PC, but still got the same problem.
This other machine was from HP, iCore 3 (4 CPUs) 2.2GHz, 4GB RAM and running Windows Professional 64 bit.
Now as I see it, it could be a Run-time environment mis-match error.
For this I tried installing a 64 bit LVRTE from NI, but still no sucess.
I checked DEP, for all 3 PCs and it was set to the following
Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only (first option).
I am confused. I can not find a solution for this and it is really frustrating. But I am assuming that when I make the installer, the 32-bit Run Time Engine is appened with the installer, as show below
Since from the picture you can see its including the support installers from '\Program Files (x86)\'
The application runs queries to fetch data from database in SQL server 2008, and for that I am using a Microsoft SQL Native Client 2008 R2 64 bit ( this is the only version that installs on either PC, even the one on which I developed my LV Application).
I am not using any driver, only toolkits for reports - and for that I un-checked the "Remove unused polymorphic VI instances" when making the executable, otherwise LV throws up an exception that share variable are not being included.
Yes I did reboot every time after I ran the installation.
Still getting the same error. -
On a Windows 7 Pro SP1 Toshiba Satellite A505 64bit laptop, when I run Itunes, no windows ever appears. If I watch Task Manager, "itunes.exe *32" appears briefly then disappears.
I ended ipodservice.exe, no diff. Started Itunes in Itunes safemode, no diff (in Windows normal mode OR windows safe mode). I tried creating another user - same issue. I tried disabling the antivirus. I scanned for viruses. I uninstalled ALL the apple software and removed ALL the apple related folders (incl bonjour, apple blah, quicktimes, itunes, etc), as per

Any clues on a fix?Hi,
Thanks for your question.
This issue might occurs due to lots of reasons. Do you have a virus scanner installed which integrates itself with Outlook? If yes, please try to disable it, and then try again. You might opt to uninstall the virus scanner temporarily to make
sure it will not interfere the testing.
Also, lots of Office crash issues are caused by third-party add-ins. You might want to have a check and see if you have any integrated with your Outlook client which might cause the issue.
Since the issue occurs randomly ("Two are three times a week"), Office
Safe Mode will not be effective here, just manually disable all third-party add-ins in Outlook FILE>Options>Ass-Ins, use outlook for a period of time, then verify result.

Hi there,
I failed to submit my 8.1 game app to Windows Store. As the Windows Store App Review Test report says, it crashed and failed to launch. My package is x86. I have tested my app on all my devices, Windows 8.1 Pro/Core x86/x64,

Outlook 2013 keeps crashing. (mso.dll Exception code: 0xc0000005)
Outlook 2013 is crashing for a lot of my users and myself included. Looking at the event viewer, it is crashing iwth mso.dll with Exception code: 0xc0000005. It usually happens overnight. I'd leave for the day and when I get in in the morning, outlook
has crashed. I have tried manually disabling all add-ins but that did not help. Then I ran outlook in safe mode but still the same crash. I have deleted the mso.dll to have outlook reinstall it but that didn't help. I see that other people have the same issue
but still no resolution (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/eedc120d-de4b-4236-a114-2492f3041e04/ms-outlook-2013-keeps-crashing?forum=officeitpro and http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/0ee701d1-b341-4448-878a-1a26618262c1/microsoft-outlook-2013-has-stopped-working-and-crashes-everytime?forum=outlook )
anyone have any new input?Hello again dom8925,
When all else is tried to no avail, can you do an offline virus scan on any of the problematic computers? Here's how:
1. Check if the computer has a 32- or a 64-bit system. Right-click on Computer icon, choose Properties. System type reveals the bitness.
2. Download the appropriate virus scanning version from http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/what-is-windows-defender-offline
Note: If you're on Windows 8.1: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/what-is-windows-defender-offline-beta
3. Insert a USB stick with nothing important on. Observe the drive letter (F:, G: etc ...) assigned to it.
4. Start the downloaded program and follow the instructions. Note: Choose the correct drive letter from 3 above.
5. Restart your computer so it will boot from the USB stick. Depending on computer brand you can often press F12 to get a boot menu.
Sometimes you have to enter BIOS to tell the computer to boot from USB if present.
The quick scan starts. Abort it and select Full Scan. Let it run overnight or till finished.
Best regards George
I've tried that with no success. Plus it can happen on a brand new freshly installed environment. Only thing that remedies the situation was disabling all Outlook GPOs on a test user and test pc. -
Hi,
I have Photoshop CS2 9.0 version installed on my PC with patch 9.02. I have a VB application which runs certain action files on EPS/TIF images using Photoshop typelibrary.tlb.The issue is that the VB application hangs when Photoshop crashes with the following error:
"Faulting application Photoshop.exe, version 9.0.2.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.2.3790.4455, fault address 0x0001bd02"
I also get several other errors when i call Photoshop in my VB application. Those are as mentioned below:
1. The referenced memory could not be read.
2. The remote server machine does not exist or not available.
There is no particular pattern for above mentioned errors. I could not find any help in any of the forums.
I have attached the screenshot of these errors.
Pls advice.
Thanks in advance,
Shobha PatilI to have been getting this error, randomly when I exit the program. Not sure what to make of it google has come up empty for me.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I uninstalled and removed the directory from program files, and reinstalled. I scanned the system for viruses. Still no good, same problem.
Details show: Faulting application firefox.exe, version 36.0.0.5531, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.1.2600.3119, fault address 0x00012a5bkernel32.dll 5.1.2600.3119 looks like a Windows XP version.
A Google search would suggest that this is a file from XP SP2, so best would be to update that computer to SP3
If this happens on a Windows 7 computer then make sure that you aren't running Firefox in compatibility mode.
You can open the Properties of the Firefox desktop shortcut via the right-click context menu and check the "Compatibility" tab.
Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.

Itunes.exe crashes exception code c0000005
I moved a .mp4 movie to iTunes in anticipation of updating an iPad. When I tried to play the movie in iTunes, it crashes with an exception code c0000005. I have already moved many movies to iTunes and watched them without a problem.

I developed a C# (Visual Studio) application in .NET Framework 4.0 in conjunction with SAP Crystal Reports Support Pack 9 msi
The target platform on which reports creating problem is Windows 7 32-bit
When I generate a report it is generating perfectly but when I try to generate the report again, the application crashes and the following error is logged in the Event Viewer:
Faulting application name: TrackingApp.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x537a1687
Faulting module name: cslibu-3-0.dll, version: 13.0.9.1312, time stamp: 0x53393fe8
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x00039a28
Faulting process id: 0xf00
Faulting application start time: 0x01cf7376d8df092d
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Tracking System\Tracking System\TrackingApp.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Common\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86\cslibu-3-0.dll
Report Id: 24b4faea-df6a-11e3-8422-d067e51beb2a
What should be the possible error. My report generation code is written in try catch block but it did not generate any exception but
crashes my application
Thanks in anticipation

Adeel ArshadHi Adeel,
Need more info.
- What do you mean by generate the report? view, print, export?
- Does this happen with single, a few or all reports?
- If the issue is with some reports, what is different ion these reports as compare to other reports?
- If all reports, could you reproduce the issue with a blank report? and with a report which has a single DB field?

Outlook 2010 Crashes After Opening During Send/Receive with a c0000005 Exception Code
Ok, I'm stumped! As soon as the user opens and loads Outlook, when it starts to do the send/receive, Outlook crashes. Here's a list of what I have tried along with the details that Windows
provided:
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: OUTLOOK.EXE
Application Version: 14.0.6117.5001

Additional information about the problem:
LCID:

I have:
Disabled add-ons
Tried Outlook in safe mode but still crashes
Uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook
Ran scanpst.exe
I have even installed this mailbox profile on a different computer that had a functioning Outlook profile on it, and it now causes the same issue after syncing from the Microsoft
Exchange server.
So, I logged into the Microsoft Portal online and checked for any emails that did not download from the webmail app to the Outlook box in case there was a corrupted email.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks!Hi,
Since the Faulting module is mso.dll, please browse to:
C:\\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\office 14.
Find mso.dll and rename it to mso.old. Then go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features to repair Office, a new mso.dll should be generated, open Outlook to check if the issue is fixed.
As you mentioned the issue persists on another machine with the same mailbox, I suggest you use the tool MFCMAPI to see if there's any items stuck in the mailbox.
To download the tool:
http://mfcmapi.codeplex.com/releases/view/127629
Open the mailbox with the tool, then go to QuickStart -> Open Folder -> Inbox, check if there's anything stuck there which doesn't sync to Outlook. I suggest you order the items by size, since large items are more likely to be stuck.

outlook 2013, installed on Windows 7, email server is Exchange 2007.
user complains that often when he forwards, sometimes when he replies, outlook crashes on him.
here are the steps I have taken:
tried short and long repair of Office, no change.
tried a system restore going back 2 weeks in case it was a windows update, no change.
uninstalled Office, then reinstalled office, no change.
deleted his profile, then recreated his profile, no change.
user states that it happens most often when he forwards an email, and not any particular email, just random ones.
below is errors from event viewer:

How is everything going?
Have you tried Scanpst? Please let me know the result.
In addition, which profile did you delete and recreate? Please try to delete the mail profile and recreate a new one with a different name to test this issue. Some people seems resolved
this issue with this method. See:
