Dunning Document Set Up Question

I hope someone with a better understanding of Dunning (which will be every oout there !), can help me with my question
What is the difference between the "F150_DUNN_01" and "F150_DUNN_02" SAPscripts?
In the SAP documentation it says "F150_DUNN_02" is the "Form with interest".
My FI person wants to charge interest in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th level of Dunnning, but not on the 1st... does that mean that I need to use two different Dunnning forms.... "F150_DUNN_01" for the first level and "F150_DUNN_02" for the 2nd through 4th level?.... what is diffferent Between the two forms?
Any reply would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Peter,
I think it could be  two dunning level .The number of days  gracing period is default by the system. The system purpose line item grace for the first period. For all further dunning level, the system add the dunning interval in days to the days of arrear of the previous dunning level.
For  each dunning level you can specify the interest to be calculated .For more  detail you can go to FBMP transaction in   configure your dunning procedures to fit the requirements.
For your scenario:
1. Go to "FBMP"
2. Choose dunning procedure assigned to the company
3. Go to "Dunning Level"
4. Depend on number of levels assigned, you should have same number of check boxes in "Calculate Interest?" row. Leave the boxes unchecked if you do not want to change interest on that particular level.
Hope this helps.

  • Document set up question

    I'm new to Adobe and there is one thing driving me crazy that I am hoping someone can help me with this.
    When I set up a new document, it comes up perfectly, except there is a huge white screen in the background, therefor making my page scroll up and down and it takes me forever to find my little document within the screen, if I accidentally scroll away from it.
    How do I make it so all I see is my document and a grey around the edges, instead of my document, with a large white background and THEN grey around that...?

    One thing that drives me crazy is when people call a program by the name of the company that makes it. Adobe is a company that makes software. Illustrator is one of the programs they make, so it is called “Adobe Illustrator”. You should also tell us the version number of the program you are using and your OS so we know more about your setup and what commands and features are available.
    It sounds like you are more used to Photoshop or other image editors in which the image takes up the entire document window. Illustrator does not work that way. You can draw anywhere on the canvas, even outside the artboard (what you refer to as the page). There is no feature to disable this. If you want the area outside the artboard to be grey you will need to draw gray shapes to fill it. You will still be able to draw other shapes in the area.
    I suggest you invest a few dollars in a Lynda.com account or a book such as the Visual Quickstart Guide or Classroom in a Book. Illustrator is a complex, powerful, and not at all intuitive program. The sooner you get some formal guidance the easier it will be to understand.

  • Display Document Set Columns Within The Document Set

    Hello all! Hopefully you all can let me know if the idea I have in my head is possible:
    Background: I have a Document Library with a custom made Document Set that has about 15 columns. The way I initially designed this, I left about 10 of the fields as "Hidden" because we didn't want the user to fill out that information
    when creating a Document Set. That information would be completed in the next step through a Workflow. The Document Set Welcome Page has been left pretty much untouched with the usual web parts for Document Set Properties and the view of the items within the
    Document Set.
    Question: What I would like to know is...would it be possible to display those Document Set fields within the Document Set itself? At the moment, if I try to add another Document Library web part and view it, the information web part is
    empty, or it contains information about one of the items within the Document Set.
    Simplified Structure of Document Set:
    Name (required)
    Fiscal Year (Required)
    Total Cost (Required)
    Approval Date (Hidden)
    Requisition # (Hidden)
    Team Members (Hidden)
    Reminder Date (Hidden)
    User creates a new Document Set, fills out the information, and saves (this triggers a background workflow that approves the Document Set). After approval, a new workflow is started to provide the information for the Hidden fields (and also schedules a reminder
    for that Reminder date.)
    The goal would be to display those Hidden fields in another web part on the page. Right now, I have users going back up to the main level of the Document Library to look at a view that contains those fields.
    Hopefully I haven't confused you all too much! Please let me know if my idea is possible and any resources you might have!
    Thanks!

    Here is the approach to read document set columns and assign to other webparts:
    for each document set you can find the id when you clicking on the document set or navigating to the welcome page,
    using this id read query string and  the associated item column values and assign to otherwebpart .
    Reference code:
    //page_load for other webpart read the query string of welcome page
    if (Page.Request.QueryString["ID"] != null)
                    ID = Convert.ToInt32(Page.Request.QueryString["ID"]);
                    if (itemID > 0)
                        GetDocumentSetItem(ID , site);
      protected void GetDocumentSetItem(int itemid, SPSite sSiteUrl)
                SPSite site = sSiteUrl;
                SPWeb web = site.OpenWeb();
                SPList list = web.Lists.TryGetList("DocumentlibraryName"); //where documentset content type attached
                SPListItemCollection items = list.GetItems();
                SPListItem item = null;
                if (itemid > 0)
                    item = list.Items.GetItemById(itemID);//getting the current item
       //read the document set item column values and assign it other webpart controls ,
                    txtDocsetidname.Text = Convert.ToString(item["FileLeafRef"]);
                    txtDocsetid.Text = Convert.ToString(item["hiddenfield"]);
    In the welcome page I have placed button to load webpart ,while loading the webpart I am reading the query string assigning the values to otherwebparts.

  • Question about metadata filtering and document sets

    Hello,
    I have a question about the metadata filtering when using document sets.
    When i use the metadata filter for example for "Installatie: P00001" it shows.
    But i wan't to show only the document set and not all the documents. Is this possible OOTB?

    Hi striker,
    You can add the "Content Type" in Hierarchy Fields for your list, then click the "Document Set" to filter the document set type item, then you can input the "P00001" in Installatle key filter, click apply, then it should show only document set
    items with field value P00001.

  • SharePoint 2013 List & linked Document Set Project Help Needed

    I have struggling to find the best solution for a recent project. I'm sure someone will have a better suggestion than what I have come up with.
    Project Requests
    Project Tracking and Documents
    Status and other data
    Project Documents
    Offsite Syncing for active projects (SkyDrive Pro)
    Attempted Scenario
    1 List for Project Tracking
    1 Document Library for Project Documents (Document Set content type)
    I created a workflow to automatically create a new Document Set when an item was added to the list, then create a link to the Document set in a column called Documents. The goal with the document sets is to have them sent to another library (archive) when
    the project is marked complete. The reason is so that the user synching offline won't have so many document sets to sync or to browse through (there would easily be a few hundred within a couple of months)
    Is there a way to programmatically move the document set to an archive library when the list item status is set to complete?  And if the status were to change back to active, to move back to the active library.
    Or maybe I am going about this the wrong way entirely?  All suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    Hi,
    With Event Receiver, we can capture the ItemUpdated event of item of a list when the value of an item is updated, then perform the Document Set moving accordingly.
    Here is a step by step sample on creating a simple Item added event receiver for Custom List in SharePoint 2010:

  • Document Set Creation in document library using REST API in Sharepoint 2013

    Hi,
    I want to create the document set using REST API call. Currently i am able to create the folder and able to upload the files using REST API's in the document library. Is there any way we can pass the contentype name or Id and create the document set using
    REST API call. We need to create the document set along with metadata and upload the files inside the document set.
    I need to create the document set along with meta data column values using REST API. Please let me know how we can achieve this through REST API.
    Thank you,
    Mylsamy

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to create document set along with managed metadata fields.
    The REST API does not currently support working with Managed Metadata or Taxonomy fields.
    As a workaround, we can use the JavaScript Client Object Model.

  • Create Document Set with custom Create Only permission set

    Here is the situation. We have a requirement where my customer wants to create document sets, however, document set/document level permissions are required.
    Setup: We created a new permission level called "Create Only". We then give the user Read and Create only permissions. This allows the user to theoretically create the item. We then run a Workflow on create that Replaces the permissions so that
    you are only allowed to view the ones you created along with other security groups based on their choices in the metadata fields.
    This setup works PERFECTLY when using a List or Form Library.
    However, for the life of me I cannot get it to work for Document Sets. If I have the same setup, I get an Access Denied message. However, it still creates the document set.
    What is weird, I've been playing around with custom permission levels and it seems as though the user has to have EDIT permissions at a minimum in order to create the document set. This will not work for me since I dynamically assign permissions to each
    document set based on what they select.
    As a side note, the only tool I have at my disposal is SharePoint Designer 2010.
    Does anyone know if there is an actual requirement to have EDIT permissions when creating a Document Set? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
    Alternatively, is there a way to setup permissions on a library for all NT Authenticated users so that we can give them the necessary permissions to create the Document Set, but still prevent them from see the other items and then the Workflow would set
    the permissions accordingly?
    I believe the more granular the permissions it uses those permissions instead so would this work?  I have not tested this theory yet.

    Hi,
    According to your description, my understanding is that you want to know if there is an actual requirement to have EDIT permissions when creating a Document Set and is there a way to setup permissions on a library for all NT Authenticated users and prevent
    them from seeing items created by others.
    For the first question, per my knowledge, if a user is given the Add Items permission, he/she can create a document set in SharePoint.
    However, there is an error “access denied” after the document set is created. It is due to the user has no permission to access the page which SharePoint will redirect the user to after finishing creating the document set.
    If the user is also given Edit Items permission, there will be no error when he/she create a document set.
    For the second question, I recommend to follow the link below to
    customize item permissions for each document submitted to a document library and remember to give the
    NT Authenticated users contribute permission.
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/spke/archive/2010/04/09/configure-item-level-permissions-for-document-libraries-sharepoint-2010-edition.aspx

  • SharePoint 2013 - Document Set Capture Version History. Does each version captured for each document set keep a copy of all the document stored in the document set?

    Hi All,
    We have currently encountered an issue where even though version control is turned on in a document library, changes made to the metadata of a document set is not tracked in a version history.
    We have found that in order to this a user will need to manually click on the capture version history button.
    With this in mind, we are concerned about the impact of this on our storage. The question we have been trying to answer is whether each document set version:
    stores the change in metadata of the document set and a copy of all the documents stored in the document set
    stores the change in metadata of the document set and a reference to the documents stored in the document set (making use of SharePoint 2013's shredded storage)
    The reason we ask this is that if a document set version stores a copy of all the document stored in a document set, a change in one of the fields in the document set could result in the storage used to grow exponentially. e.g. if the document set contains
    documents totaling 30MB, and if we have 10 versions of the document set, we could take up 300 MB in the content database for just one document set.
    We have tried to some searching around Google but wasn't able to find any answers around this question. Would appreciate some assistance from anyone who has knowledge around how document set version history works.
    Thanks in advance.
    John

    i had a long thing written out, but submit failed.  suffice to say it does "2".  it only stores the changes with pointers to the documents.

  • How to rename Document Set programmatically

    Hi guys,
    I'm trying to create a Document Set item programmatically with unique name by adding ID to its name:

    SPFolder parentFolder = list.RootFolder;
    string dsname = Purpose_TextBox.Text;
    Hashtable properties = new Hashtable();

    DocumentSet docSet = DocumentSet.Create(parentFolder, dsname, docsetCT.Id.Parent, properties, false);
    DocumentSet ds = DocumentSet.GetDocumentSet(list.GetItemById(docSet.Item.ID).Folder);
    ds.Item.Name = ds.Item.Name + ds.Item.ID.ToString();
    The problem is that I cannot update Document Set name.

  • Note Board web part to display comments for explicit Document Set

    I guess my question falls under 'Other customization' hence my post here.
    Scenario:
    I have a Document Set content type enabled for a library. At the moment I have a few "folders" [document sets] that contain their respective documents.
    I edited a Document Set welcome page to include a Note Board web part. I edited the Note Board web part by adding a 'URL for note' to be a URL of a random Document Set welcome page while in edit mode.
    (Basically, I went to a 'ABC' document set page, clicked edit page, copied URL from address bar, closed that page, went to 'Customize Welcome Page' for all document sets in that library, edited Note Board web part by pasting the link into its 'URL for note'
    field)
    Problem:
    Currently, all comments are shared between all document sets (folders). When I go to 'ABC' document set and post a comment, I can see my ABC specific comments in e.g. 'XYZ' document set.
    I want to have comments specific to each document set displayed on a respective page for that document set.
    Solution?
    I realize that I must have gotten an URL for a Note Board web part wrong and it does not filter comments explicit to each document set but fetches the comments from whole the library. My url is currently:
    https://intranet.domain/sitecollection/library/Forms/Machine%20Process%20Pack/docsethomepage.aspx?ID=2&FolderCTID=0x0120D520009EDF2E3A3112B041AC6EC1D4133D77550000C297D6CB32E349A435E04924DC6C58&List=7b052f9c-7e35-4251-b66d-3bcdd2950014&RootFolder=%2Fuk%5Fqhse%2FProcess%20Packs%2FSigma%202345&RecSrc=%2Fuk%5Fqhse%2FProcess%20Packs%2FSigma%202345&PageView=Shared&InitialTabId=Ribbon.WebPartPage&Visi
    I know I have to strip this URL from some parameters, presumably leaving just ID, FolderCTID, List and RootFolder.
    Could someone actually tell me exactly how my URL should look like if I want to display comments only for a given document set on its welcome page?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to display comments only for a given document set on its welcome page, not display for all the document sets.
    If so, you should not set the “URL for note” field in the Note Board web part, you can just leave it blank, then when you post a comment in one document set, the others would not display the comment.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Content type "Link to a Document" to content type Document SET

    Hello,
    Could you please assist.
    I have a customized document sets.
    I added the content type "Link to a Document” to content type Document SET.
    I uploaded several documents to each document set.  There are several identical documents in different document sets.
    How can I arrange for uploading just a link to the documents, but not the additional documents?
    In other words, how to arrange for convenience for users to download a link?
    I mean them not to enter
    http://server/files ,
    but a certain “dropdown” appeared, a kind of menu with a choice of downloaded documents.
    Suppose, I added to each file its own attribute link and this link. I want to present  in form of creation “Link to a Document”
    There are 2 forms of creation. The first one is where we point a link. The second one is where we point the attributes.
    For example:
    I have two document sets: Project 1 and Project 2.
    There are 2 documents “instruction.doc” and “invoice.xls” uploaded to Project 1.  Each document has a field – link (a link to this very document).
    I want to add a link to “invoice.xls” in Project 2.
    I want to do it in that way a user could choose a list of links from a dropdown menu.
    Thanks

    Lookup column is the attribute of file. Attribute can not be upload! . Did you try to use the content type of link to document? If yes, you can understand my question. I want to change uploaded.aspx ( link of document) and add lookup column to this form.
    Standart scenario: User create link to docunent. 1. Prees button start. 2. Input text link to upload.aspx form 3. Set attributes new. Aspx I want: 1. Press button. 2. User press dropdawn menu and choise neddeng link. 3. Set attributes Plese read my question

  • How to change content type from Document set to Item

    While creating content type I've selected Item as a parent but after created I can see its showing Document Set as a parent content type. Now can anyone please suggest if possible I can change the parent content type from Document Set to Item.

    Hi,
    From your description, I know you want to change content type’s parent after creating it.
    There is no OOB method to change content type’s parent after you create it. If current content type has not been used, you could delete it and recreate it with your desired base type. Here are similar cases:

  • Workflow: create a document set and add default documents to it

    Having a workflow create a new document set seems straightforward: use the "create list item” action, choose the target library and one of the document set content types available in it
    and supply values for the fields. But that workflow action doesn't provision the document set with default content, even though the content type has default content defined. Other people have asked the same question and some say you can write a second workflow
    triggered by creating the new document set item in the target library, but I don't see how you can add default content to it.
    "Copy list item" would work if you could supply the title of the document set along with the target library. You can copy files (in my case several .msg, .pdf and .docx files) from
    a "templates" library, but without being able to add the document set name/path as part of the target "this list" they end up in the root of the target library not in the document set.
    I've seen suggestions that "Create list item" will work, but I don’t see how it can since with that you can't supply a file name to provide the default content with.
    Am I missing something?
    Tom

    Hi Tom,
    According to your description, my understanding is that you want to add documents to the document set using workflow.
    I recommend to use the custom workflow activity “Copy List Item Extended” and you download it from the following link:
    http://spdactivities.codeplex.com/.
    With this activity, we can copy documents to document sets.
    Please refer to the link below to deploy the custom activity:
