Duplicating Conditions...Is it possible?

I have a very complex condition in one of my receiver determinations and have the very same condition in another interface determination. I hate to maintain it in 2 different places. Is there a way to assign this condition to some type of variable and reuse it?

would it be an option to add an additional business service to represent the same receiver?
then you could use receiver determination instead of interface determination.
So now you have:
sender A -> receiver B, interface X
sender A -> receiver B, interface Y
you change this to
sender A -> receiver B1, interface X
sender A -> receiver B2, interface Y
but B1 and B2 represent the same system.

I would like to know where it is possible to create more than a single exception or condition in a query. If it is possible, then are there any other implications that may result as far as data is concerned?
Also, is there a limit on the number of exceptions and conditions one can create in a single query?

Dear Deepthi,
You can use exceptions to evaluate one or all key figures (structure elements) in your query definition. If you want to use exceptions selectively on specific key figures in your query definition, you have to define an exception for each key
figure accordingly.
On the Display tab of the exception definition you have control over which cells of an analysis receive the color for the determined alert level. If you select the checkbox for Exception Affects Data Cells, then the following choices can be made
Key Figure Choice Result
Evaluated Structure Element
The structure element chosen on the Definition tab will
be the one to receive the color assigned to the alert level.
All Structure Elements
Regardless of which structure element is being evaluated
in the exception, all structure elements will receive the
color assigned to the alert level.
Following Structure Element
With this setting, you can evaluate one structure element,
but then apply the color of the alert level to a different
structure element.
If the checkbox for Exception Affects Characteristic Cells is selected, then you can select from the following options:

Select condition not work, possible mistake

I have simple select like

LSMW with PIR line deletion of condition pricing .. possible ? how?

Hi,
May I ask your opinion of using LSMW to delete one PIR condition line item of one particular period? Is this possible via LSMW?
For example,
PB00--12.12.2001-to---12.12.2010-30--DKK
PB00--13.12.2010-to---12.12.2099-30--DKK
PB00--13.12.2099-to---12.12.3000-30--DKK (I want to delete this line)
if possible, may I know if the method is A) Standard Batch/Direct Input, OR, B) Batch Input Recording?
Personally, I think it should be A method, because I don't think LSMW is able to recognize which period line condition I want to delete during ME12 recording of deletion, am I right?
If method A is possible, is there a particular field that I can use to represent the deletion of the line?
Please share your experience.

Do you mean I use the recording method (i.e. the B method I mentioned earlier), and do a recording by deleting the line condition I wanted to delete;
Next I put in all the pricing condition line item (ie. which consists of all the VALID-TO on year 3000) which I wanted to delete in excel and later tab limited file.
The above will work?
But may I ask, when LSMW look at my file, will it recognize the line base on my file and delete the correct pricing line item?? because it is important it does not delete all the pricing condition line item or delete the WRONG line item..
please double confirm, but I will try with few test. but please dobulec confirm to me .. thanks.

[Condition] Is it possible to make an await() WITHOUT releasing lock?

Like title says...I expose my problem:
I need to impose a FIFO ordering between 2 kind of threads, A and B. A and B come together in the critical section, here A has to check that NO thread of type B is in the section and, if it is not, pass and go in another section and, at the end, modify a variable value in order for B to enter. However, more threads of type A can be together in the 2nd section.
So, if for example we have:
BAAA> | critical | 2nd section |
3 A can enter in 2nd section but 1 B stays outside the critical section.
critical section is like this with condition variables:

waitCond.await();problem is that await() awakens another thread in the queue, so suppose a situation like this:
BABA->
A enters.
B blocks on await unlocking the lock
A enters...no FIFO ordering!
Ho can I solve this?:(

Use a simple in memory flag-- b.inWait(), be awakens checks to see if the flag is still set and if it is goes back to a wait state--works for single events.
In the event you have multiple blockers, you need to keep count of the numer of blockers that have a hold on the wait state, so. Each time an A enters the critical, increment a counter. When b comes out of wait, then have it check the counter--Counter>0, then b goes back to wait. When each A leaves the critical segment, then decrrement the counter.

I'm interested to know if I can then use it to either include or exclude entire "AND..." clauses within my WHERE clause?
For example:

Now, I have a Clause 3 but I
only want to include it if @hasActualHours = 1.
Is it possible to do something like that in T-SQL?

SQL is a declarative language, not a procedural flow control language. Declarative languages have no flow to control; there is no IF-THEN-ELSE, no loops.

im displaying a table and without line border between them in the following way:

i would like to add a bottom border line between every package and after every line like this:

lets say you have a simple table with one header & 1 body row with 4 fields A,B,C,D.
if you want a border if A value is not null have the below javascript on form ready event of field A.
Make sure you have no borders defined for the table at any element.

           this.parent.border.getElement("edge",2).presence = "visible"; // sets bottom border to the data row node.
Note: 0 = top
1 = right
2 = bottom
3 = left */

XML Display conditions, is this possible?

I have an XML form which is used to post information onto the portal, this works really well, apart from one small presentation issue.
The users can enter a valid from date and valid to date but if they don't there is just a blank space. Is it possible to enter a formula which will put a value in if one has not been set e.g.
Valid From: 09/06/2006 Valid to: N/A
Any help would be great!

Hi Phil
You can enter "$date" in the Caption-field of a browser-control. Then the present date will automatically be entered. Take a look at the standard SAP project "FAQ" to see how its used.
I don't know how you can obtain the "Valid to: N/A"-functionality.

Duplicating Conditions in Schema

Hi All
I want to link a Delivery Cost Condition to the Discount Condition.
e.g.
Condition ZAB1 - Discount Condition - Percentage - Negative
Condition ZAB2 - Delivery Cost - Percnentage - Positive
I want to flow the Percentage of the Delivery Cost Condition automatically as of the Discount like if 3% is Discount then Delivery Costs should also be 3%
So In Calculation Schema the Sequence is like
10 PB00
20 ZAB1 10 10
30 ZAB2 20 20
For ZAB2 I could have used " From " - " To " as 10 10, but I want to link it to the ZAB1, so i used from - to as 20 20.
I maintained these conditions in MEK1 as ZAB1 - 3% and ZAB2 as 100 %
But while using this schema in PO, my Delivery Costs are getting negative as I linked this to the ZAB1 (negative Conditions).
How can overcome this. I want to maintain the changes to only one condition i.e. ZAB1 and other should flow wrt ZAB1 only.
Can anyone guide me on ?

Is it possible to choose an aggreement in purchase order conditions ?

i am able to assign supplier to a pricing conditions in purchase order.
But i want to assing agreements too. Is it possible to do?

I want to explain why it is requiered with an example
we open a pr for yearly import orders transportation costs.And we predict
yearly 100 import purchase orders and also 100 transportation service.
So we agreed 1000 usd for each orders trasportation costs.And we sign this agreement for one year with the total price of 100.000usd.
And such agreements for other delivery items like consulting and etc.All this terms
price is planned and the same for each po.
For an import pr u agreed with a supplier and u open a po with the price u agreed. And also u add the delivery items like trasportation (1000 usd for each import order:this because of we want to add this cost to that material) which u make agreements previously .
While we are choosing the condition as its possible to add a supplier to that condition it might be possible to choose an agreement made with that supplier.
If its not possible, the agreement u done with the supplier is meaningless (trasnportatin agreement) .
So that means that we cannot do agreements for such services.And also determine the price.
As a result i think its required and if it is not possible, is there any other solution ?

Is it possible to hide led when it is in off condition?

I am using LabVIEW 2010. I have developed a program for the 7 segment display using led array. now it is completed, i want to hide the led in off condition. is it possible to hide led in off condition? if yes, how?

Yes, you just need to use property nodes.
Right click the LED then go: Create -> property node -> visible.
Then change the property node to write.
Then wire the same thing that is wired to the LED to the property node.
That way the LED will not be visible when the input is false.

Condition Class is a grouping that lets you control each condition type differently.
For example, the condition type "taxes" defines that the taxes in a document must be recalculated if the country of the ship-to party changes.
Condition category (examples: tax, freight, price, cost)
A classification of conditions according to pre-defined categories (for example, all conditions that relate to freight costs).
Condition category basically identifies the type pf cost the Condition type is being used for & can be used for .
Calculation type
Determines how the system calculates prices, discounts, or surcharges in a condition. For example, the system can calculate a price as a fixed amount or as a percentage based on quantity, volume, or weight.
The calculation type can be set when generating new condition records. If this does not happen, the calculation type maintained here is valid for the condition record
Rounding rule
The rule that determines how the system rounds off condition values during pricing. The last digit will be rounded.
Example
In the standard rounding rule '_', values are rounded off according to business standards:
10.454 -> 10.45 DEM
10.455 -> 10.46 DEM
In rounding rule 'A', values are always rounded up:
10.459 -> 10.46 DEM
10.451 -> 10.46 DEM
In rounding rule 'B', values are always rounded down:
1045.9 -> 1045 LIT
1045.1 -> 1045 LIT
In this example, the currency of the condition rate is Italian Lira. The Italian Lira does not have any places after the point.
Structure condition
controls whether the condition type should be a duplicated condition or a cumulated condition.
This control is only helpful when you use bill of materials or configurable materials.
Aduplicated condition is duplicated into all assigned items.
A cumulated condition contains the net value of all assigned items.

Conditions for which this indicator has been set can only be maintained via the 'Promotion' menu - not via the Purchasing menu.
Accrual (e.g. Freight)

If you mark this indicator, the condition appears in the document as a statistical condition.
Before Release 4.0 variant conditions (VA00) had to be created with the condition category 'O'
Problem: It was not possible to indicate a 'Variant condition' at the same time as 'Internal costing condition' and 'Freight'.
Solution: For this reason more indicators are being set up in 4.0 for the condition type:
'Variant condition' (KVARC)
'Internal costing condition' (KFKIV)
The characteristic values O and I for the condition category must no longer be used.

Marks the condition type as relevant for internal costing.
Quantity conversion
This field controls the quantity conversion during determination of the condition basis.
The field is only relevant for calculation rule 'C' (quantity- dependent.
It is relevant if the sales quantity unit and the condition quantity unit are identical (and is different to the basis quantity unit).
Deactivated: The condition basis quantity is converted via the quantity to the stockkeeping unit. This means that the condition quantity is determined for planned factors. This means that a change to the conversion factors in the delivery or the order are not taken into account.
Rounding errors can occur during quantity conversion.
Activated: If the sales quantity unit and the condition quantity unit are identical, the quantity of the document item is used, i.e. the actual quantity.
Condition for inter-company billing
Conditions for Internal Costing, for example PI01 and PI01 were defined before Release 4.0 by KNTYP = I (Price for internal costing).
Problem: It was not possible to indicate 'Freight condition' at the same time as 'Internal costing condition' and 'Variant condition'.
Solution: Therefore a new indicator 'Internal costing condition' (KFKIV) has been set up. You can use this to indicate a freight condition as an internal costing condition. For more information, see note 93426.

Scale basis indicator
Determines how the system interprets a pricing scale in a condition. For example, the scale can be based on quantity, weight, or volume
Checking rule for scale rates
Indicates whether the scale rates must be entered in ascending or descending order.
Scale Type
Indicator that controls the validity of the scale value or percentage:
From a certain quantity or value (base scale)
Up to a certain quantity or value (to-scale)
Alternatively, it is possible to work with interval scales. Interval scales must be stored in the condition type, that is, the scale type "interval scale" cannot be changed in the condition record. The reason for this is technical restrictions resulting from the programming within pricing.

What is the use of specifying an "End Date" when certifying conditionally?

When certifying conditionally, it is possible to specify an "End Date".
* What does OIM do with this End Date?
* What happens on specified date?
* Will the entitlement be automatically removed at that date?

3. Open the certification task

You can use Exclusion Group
You can define 2 Groups and include 1 condition type in each
and define exlusion procedure
A   Best condition between condition types
B   Best condition within the condition type
C   Best condition between the two exclusion groups
D   Exclusive
E   Least favorable within the condition type
F   Least favorable betweent the two exclusion groups
you can use Exclusive to set your condition type or as per your requirement

Header condition for Freight charges

What happens when i create the Freight charges as a header condition.Is it possible to work with planned delivery charges with header freight condition

If you maintain freight charges as header condition, it can be counted as planned delivery cost.
If you have several items, the value of header condition will be distributed to the each item
per the item price.
ex)
item 1 : 1 pc * 60 usd
item 2 : 1 pc * 40 usd
Header condition : 10 usd
Then 6 usd will be add to item 1 and 4 usd will be added to item 2.
