EC-PCA: Different assessment rules by materials

One of objective of our PCA implementation is to split values by brands. It is possible with the use of profit center (PC) assignment in material master. But... We have some materials which can't be unambiguously assigned to PC. I.e. when one material used for different brands (for example: Packs). The possible solution here is to have "central" PC, which periodically should be settled to brand PCs using some allocation rules.
The question here: how can I setup different rules depending on material? I mean that different materials should have different settlement rules (for example: Material A should be settled 50/50%, Material B  should be settled 20/20/60%). How it can be reached without creation of separate PCs for each material?

> In case you want different % for each material, you need to
> write different segments in the same cycle, where you
> differentiate material based on the cost element/gl account.
You're right. We want different % for each material. But we can't differentiate material based on the cost element/gl account. G/L under material movement transaction usually means type of operation. So, if we, for example, write-off raws to manufacturing usually the same G/Ls/Cost Elements are updated. But we still need different split for different raw materials as they used in differenet proportions in brands. Unfortunately on Assessment/Distribution maintainance screen we don't have material field for Sender selection. So, the question is, how can we differentiate these materials in other way?

  • Different Distribution Rule on Outgoing Payment cannot be split on Journal

    Hi All,
I created an Outgoing Payment for Vendor for several invoices. Each invoice was assigned to different Distribution Rule. But the journal created summarized all the invoices (only one row for debit AP), and no distribution rule was assigned. Is this a bug? Anybody ever experienced the same problem?
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi Gordon,
    I am working with version 2007 A PL 42.
I found that Distribution Rule on Outgoing Payment is for Discount purpose. When we fill Discount then it will be posted to Discount Account with Distribution Rule defined.

  • Different rounding rule by customers

    Hi all,
I have a quiestion about rounding rule.
Is there any way to change rounding rule to total price after tax by customers?
I understand rounding rule can be controled by condition type. However, I am looking for a way to apply a different ronding rule in each sales by customers.
For example, for a sales order from a customer A,  I'd like to have its total price after tax to be applied "commercial" rounding rule.
but for a sales order from a customer B, I want it to be "round up".
Both customers maintain a same pricing procedures and everything. Only different should be its rounding rule as I prefer.
I truely appreciate for your help.
    Thank you very much.

    Hi Rajesh,
IMG  Personnel Time Management  Time Data Recording and Administration  Absences  Absence Catalog  Absence Counting  Rules for Absence Counting (New)  Define Rules for Rounding Counted Absences
    V_T559R
In this step, you set rounding rules for absence and attendance counting.
If you specify an hours or day multiplier for counting attendances and absences, the values determined can have several places behind the decimal point. It is difficult to use these values for quota deduction and payroll. In this step, therefore, you set rules for rounding the values.
You use concrete numbers for the rounding rules and can specify whether you want:
Only values within the specified interval to be rounded or the interval to be rolled
The specified upper and lower limits to be included in the calculation
You can specify several subrules for a rounding rule and number them sequentially. The system runs through the subrules in sequential order until it finds one that applies.
    Example
For absences, you use a counting rule that is counted using an hours multiplier of 80%. You want whole numbers (full hours) to be determined in counting.
    Define a rounding rule
With a lower limit of 0.5 (inclusive)
With an upper limit of 1.5 (not inclusive)
With a target value of 1
You want the rule to be rolled, that is, to apply also to the following intervals:
    1.5 - 2.4 (rounded to 2)
    2.5 - 3.4 (rounded to 3)
    and so on.
If you have any query's on this pls ask me.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Revathi.

  • ACE: Different Sticky rules for different URLs

Is there a way to apply different sticky rules (or no sticky at all) depending on the URL for a given site under ACE?
The reason I want to do this is because I have an extremely common URL that chews up sticky resources when it doesn't matter if the URL is sticky. We have several thousand PC's that have a web based screen saver on them that just pull random pages to be displayed on the users' screen when the screen saver kicks in. These pages do not need to be sticky but other pages on the same farm need sticky. Is this possible?
    Casey

Create a more specific Layer 7 class map and instead of calling sticky serverfarm use serverfarm.
    for example
    sticky http-cookie COOKIE STATIC
    cookie insert browser-expire
    timeout 5
    serverfarm WEBFARM
    serverfarm host WEBFARM
    rserver SV1 80
    inservice
    rserver SV2 80
    inservice
    class-map match-any APP1-VIP
    2 match virtual-address 10.86.178.160 tcp eq http
    class-map type http loadbalance match-all Condition1
    2 match http url .*
    3 match http header Host header-value 172.16.31.*
    4 match http header User-Agent header-value .*MSIE.*
    class-map type http loadbalance match-all Condition2
    2 match http url .*
    policy-map type loadbalance first-match L7_COOKIE_STATIC

    sticky-serverfarm STATIC

  • How to check availability with different checking rules

    Hi,
Can any of you help on this query please.
We have a checking group defined for each materail.
We have a checking rule defined for plant and production order type.
When the Production order is created and saved the availability check happens and the missing parts list is generatted.
The checking scope for the above combination of the checking group and rule - includes the purchase order of coponents in recievables.
Though we don't want to change this setting,
Business also want to see if the prodcution order components have any recievable PO, in the coming week so they can follow up with procuremetn team. Or alternatively they want to see the missings parts list for the next week with out including the purchase orders, as recievables.
I can create a checking rule and scope that can exclude the purchase order from recievables, and can assign this rule to the production order type. but that is not required as ATP for future production orders should include the purchase orders in scope.
Is there any transaction, where I can put the production order and a checking rule, to check material availabilty of components ?
Or do you see any other repots or solution to this query.
    Best Regards,

    Hi Mario,
    Thanks for your answer.
Checking rule at the operational level i.e. to confirm or committ the availability is ok and is assigned to production order type.
We don't want to change that.
You are correct that we want just a report for information purpose, that checks availability based on different checking rule.
But I am currently looking for if there are any standard reports or solution is available for this and keeping a Z custom developemetn as a last option.
However if we will decide for the custom developemetn, the FM provided by you might help, as we won't need to search for it now.
Please let me know if you get any standard report for it.
Or if you find a report for checking the assciated procurement elements with the production order, that has been used to confrim the component availability. Such report can also help to follow up with the procurement department.
    Best Regards,
    Dinesh

  • Different  disaggregation rules within the same key figure

    Hello All,
We need to apply different disaggregation rules within the different levels of the same key figure.
    As an Example:
    Key Figure: SALES VOLUME
    Level1: Market
    Level2: Segment
    Level3: Model
We want to define such rules:
1- Disaggregate from Market Level to Segment Level using Historical Data
2- Disaggregate from Segment Level to Model Level using APODPNDANT (a key figure in which the input is supplied from business)
Does anybody know if this (defining two different rules within the different levels of the same key figure) is posssible?
    Thanks in advance...

    Hi Ergul
Ideally its better to have APODPDANT to be the disaggregation KF at all levels
you can choose to manipulate the APODPDANT instead by making it an Editable Kf in the Planning book
To start with all levels can be based on the proportional KF calculation
By Loading the selections at the Segment to model level you can manually enter the values based on business input
you might need some macors to fix the totals and maybe to make sure the Sales volume is redisaggregated
i think its something that can be solved by a god business process and simple functionality in the way you see the data

  • Different clearing rules in SAPF124

    Hi Gurus,
usually we use the filed ZUONR as automatic Clearing rule for GR/IR account.
Now we have a Company code, which has a another Content in this field. We could use fields EBELN and EBELP.
The rules I store in customizing..are they like "and-rules" or is this like an "or" - this is because we can not set the rule by company code and of course we still need the ZUONR rule... so if it is an "and" we don't have a chance here anyway...
2.) Any suggestions how to solve it?
    Many thanks in advance!
    Sandra

    Hi Sandra
The conditions in OB74 are "AND" conditions.
Since, we cannot set the criteria at company code level, I would suggest that you use different G/L accounts for the purpose of different criteria.
Since, COA has a vast number of G/L accounts, you can look for some G/L numbers which are not used in any other company code as of now and use them for your purpose only in this particular company code after configuration.

  • Different Aggregation rule while aggregating

    Hi Folks
in OBIEE 10.1.3.4.1 and BI Apps 7.9.6, using answers, i developed a report which has Organization division dimension and active headcounts as fact. while the report is created, the default aggregation( Server determined) rule that the server is using gives wrong results i.e. the grand total of the active Headcounts results to 9603 where as when i explicitly give "sum" as aggregation rule, i get the summation of the headcounts in the active headcount column which results in 25000. i checked this physical queries and couldnt get a clear understanding of the physical db queries. there is an aggregation rule on the Active headcount in the rpd which is like this
    :- LAST(Core."Fact - HR - Operation (Workforce)"."Active Headcount") with time dimension
    :- SUM(Core."Fact - HR - Operation (Workforce)"."Active Headcount") with any other dimension
and there is a case statement in expression builder like this:
CASE WHEN "Oracle Data Warehouse"."Catalog"."dbo"."Dim_W_EMPLOYMENT_D"."W_EMPLOYMENT_STAT_CODE" = 'A' THEN "Oracle Data Warehouse"."Catalog"."dbo"."Fact_W_WRKFC_EVT_MONTH_F_Snapshot"."HEADCOUNT" ELSE 0 END

Passing parameters from one report to another. If you go to Column Properties you will find 2 main types of Drills. One is a default drill which comes from the repository. The other is a navigation drill wherein you can specify a target report. So basically when you click on the column of your report that will navigate to another report and will also pass the parameter(value clicked) and will filter the target report. I am not sure which version of OBI EE you are on?

  • Two listener for the same queue - different extraction rule

    Hi all.
I've the following situation that I'm trying to troubleshoot.
OSB communicates with another system using JMS Queues.
One queue for teh request, one for the response.
Depending on the kind of service, the request is published on the request using a dynamical routing to a Business Service. Depending on the cases, this business service could be:
    1. Just insertion on the queue (no response required)
    2. "Queue Manager" - Insertion and wait for response (response required, JMS Correlation ID as correlation pattern)
About the extraction from the response queue, when the messages are published from the "Queue Manager", then they must be extracted from the same resource based on the Correlation ID.
Otherwise, all the messages published in other way (not the "Queue Manager" but the option #1), a different resource should extract them from the response queue (a proxy service with protocol JMS).
What happens at runtime is that the messages published from the "Queue Manager" are extracted from the other resource.
    How can I solve this?
Do I need to use two separate queues or there is a way to configure two different listener on the queue, one based on the JMS Correlation ID and the other one that extracts all the other requests?
Thanks in advance to anyone that will help.

Unfortunately, I've already evaluate the message selector option, but in the following case:
    BS1 (Request Only)----->JMSQRequest ----->Your Logic ----->JMS Reponse--->JMS Proxy service with Message selector
The JMS Proxy with message selector should know the value that is the key for the extraction. In this case we have not this infornation since when we run this scenario there is an external system that extracts the request and provides the response... and in the middle we lost the informations (e.g. if we use a key ID, the Proxy with message selector doesn't knwo which value is has to search for in the ID).
For the moment I think that the best solution could be to have two separate queues, but I'm trying to figure out if there is any other option.

  • Different aggregate rule for different measures?

Hi.I have an outline with two members in measures dimension:Activity and Profit. Other dimensions including Period,Account,Area,Cost Center etc.The customer require the Activity measure to be aggregated on all dimensions. But as the Profit measure, when Period and Account members are the same, the Profit value on the level 0 member of Area and Cost Center will be either #Missing or an equal number. And the aggregate rule on Area and Cost Center, while Period and Account members are the same, should be to copy one none-missing value(if exists) to the upper level member. For example,if Area has three children:area1,area2,area3. When fixing Period Account and Cost Center, the Profit on area1 is 15,area2 is #missing,area3 is 15. Then the Profit on Area should be 15. So is on the dimension Cost Center. How can I design a formula or a calc script to do it?Thanks!

What I found in Oracle presentation is that in 10GR2 compressed cube enhancements support all aggregation methods except weighted methods (first, last, minimum, maximum and so on). It is from September 2005 so maybe something changed since then.
Regarding your question about the results I think it is caused by the fact that calculation are made on doubles and then there is a compression, so maybe precsion is lost a little bit :(. I really am curious whether it is because of numeric (precision loss) issues.

I maintain a Windows SBS 2008 server for 8-10 users.  One of my users recently tried to connect their lumia phone via active sync. When they do so, the server is requiring a complex password even though my exchange settings show Require alphanumeric
password is not checked, enable simple password is checked, and min password length is 4.
When connecting the phone, the requirements are must use min 3 complex characters, password must be min 5 characters.  This is contradictory to the settings in the EMC.  Is there some other place on the server that I need to change these settings?
    Thank you.

    Hi Will,

Did you check whether this same issue occurred for all other user accounts and other phones? Just a confirmation, thanks for your understanding.
    On current situation, please run

(You establish PPPoE sessions over the local network to the Arch machine? Which then routes the traffic?)
first question ,yes that is exactly what i am done. second question i also have a small  scripts on windows pc to solve routes traffic problem
    route -p delete 0.0.0.0
    route -p add 192.168.9.0 mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.9.1
    route -p add 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 192.168.22.0
but after a while i found scripts is not necessary because windows always attempt to use PPPoE sessions as default internet connection local connection is also ok
and use  -i pppX in my iptables rules dose not  solve my problem , because same account start PPPoE session could be marked as ppp0 or ppp1. it is hard to identified which account start session.

  • How to Define Multiple Notification Rules for Different E-Mail Channels?

In C4C we can define a notification rule for New tickets, for example, that provides an acknowledgement of receiving the customer's e-mail.
This works great for a single support team, but what if we have multiple support teams, each with their own e-mail address, and each with unique requirements for their auto-acknowledgement?
When setting up a new notification rule, there doesn't appear to be any option to define the e-mail channel, service and support team value, or a "from" e-mail address.
We're on-boarding over a dozen e-mail teams, and I'd hate to tell them that they'll all have to share one auto-acknowledgement template from a single do-not-reply address.
Does anyone know if this is possible to:
Define the e-mail channel or service and support team as an condition in the notification rules.
Define the outgoing "from" e-mail address for a notification rule.
Thanks for any insight the community might have!

    Hi Mike,
As of release 1402, your analysis is correct.  The out-of-the-box notification rules do not include the "incoming email channel" as one of fields on which to build condition, and all notifications are sent from a common do-not-reply address.
You can easily overcome the first limitation by using the SDK.  For example, when the ticket is created you could set an extension field based on the email channel, and then use the extension field to define different notification rules, using different templates.  All extension fields are automatically available to be used as conditions.
Thank you for your feedback and for bringing this item to our attention.  We will definitely keep this in mind as we plan for future releases.
    Kind regards,

  • Release strategy for PR with materials having different prices

    Hai Gurus
Can we make a release strategy for a variant configured material ?
I mean create a strategy in such a way that price is critical factor and the materials what ever we choose for the PR has different characteristics dependencies like for example ( A chair having different characteristics like color, material ( like steel, leather etc) and other features like wheels etc and whatever characteristics we choose has a different price.......... so when v come to the release strategy it has to be approved by the next level if it reaches $ 1000 and so on.
please help me out in this issue

    Hello Arif Mansuri
thanks for your reply, yes I have taken it as total value only. The scenario is I am asked to use three different characteristics ( total value, materials, MRP Controller) and assign them to a class and if the customer picks any number of different materials and if the price is more than 1000 then it has to reach to the next level for approval. i thought i am suppose to use object dependencies here......... can we do this in a normal release order if so how would be the strategy played here?
    thanks for your time
