EDLNOT - Consignment Order

Hi
I had a quick question on EDLNOT message type of IDOC. Please let me know the answer when you get a chance.
We use consignment order process in the Auto industry
here document flow here is as follows:
Scheduling agreement LK =>
Delivery into Consignment storage location =>
ED-Order (pick up from the consignment storage location) =>
Delivery to the customer.
We use inbound EDLNOT (DESADV01) . The inbound The EDLNOT has to create the ED-Consignment Order.
Function Module - IDOC_INPUT_EDLNOT_START
Inbound Prcoessing code - EDLN
The problem -> IDOC segment has the necessary data but it is not able to find the Document type "ED" during the creation.
This results in the IDOC to fail. Does system atuomatically determines "ED" document type? or should it be passed in the IDOC? How do I solve this?

Hi,
In Consignment Process; we have EDLNOT type IDOC's.
In the inbound EDLNOT IDOC's you need to pass the following information;
1. LF partner number
2. WE partner details
3. Customer Material Info Record or the KDMAT field.
Based on the above system will automatically run a query in M_VLPMA view and determine the Scheduling Agreement. Based on this and OVD0 transaction settings, for a Sold to party you need to maintain ED document type. System will create ED document and save.
Hope this answers your question..

  • Proforma Invoice for Consignment Orders / Internal Orders

    Hello,
we need to implement a consigment inventory (for customers) in our EBS 12.1 environment.
A search in the forum pointed me to this flow that looks quite good already:
(quoting Sandeep Gandhi from thread: Consignment Order in Oracle ( 11.5.10.2 and R12)
    >
    1) Define each customer as an org
    2) When you receive first sales order, create an internal order to ship material from your warehouse to the customer. This ensures that your inventory is updated, shipping documents are generated and invoices are not created. This also ensures that the inventory continues to show up as an asset on your books.
    3) When you receive consumption advice from customer, create a regular sales order which will create invoices.
    4) This ensures that at any point in time, you can know exactly how much is at each customer location. And you can easily process return of consignment material by doing another Internal Order.
    >
That looks almost perfect to us, except one thing: we need a proforma invoice when we ship the material (point 2).
Does anybody know how I could generate a proforma invoice for an Internal Order?
Or did anyone solve that problem differently?
    Thanks in advance,
    David.

I know that you can generate a proforma invoice for an ISO if the ISO is between 2 different OU.
But the customer Inventory orgs I suggested earlier are typically under the same OU (unless you have reasons to do it otherwise) and so Oracle probably won't generate a Proforma invoice.
If that happens, you can create a custom document and print it along with the shipping documents for the ISO. You don't have to worry about a/c transactions since proforma invoice is basically a commitment that states price/qty etc. It is not really an AR invoice.
    Hope this helps,
    Sandeep Gandhi

  • Status Profile - Consignment orders

    Dear All,
My client requirement as below, please go thru and suggest how to proceed.
    1. ZCON_VALUE- Ztable, has customer and consignment value, example XXXX customer has limit of 1000 EUR
    2. When creating consignment fill up for customer XXXX system should check the value (intercompany price PI01) with ZCON_VALUE, if PI01 total value is less than ZCONS_VALUE, status of the consignment fill up order will be AUTO, if order value is greater than ZCONS_VALUE status should be LOCK.
    3. not only one order, if same customer has other consignment fill up order, system should consider all consignment fill up and check PI01 of all orders and compare with ZCONS_VALUE, if less than AUTO, and Greater than LOCK,
    4. Some consignment orders will dont have PI01 condition, as local plant deliver goods, at that time system shoudl consider value form material master accounting data.
Please suggest and if required any clarifications, let me know.
    Thanks

    Any inputs

    Hi,

I am not sure how to start and where to start. Coding part is not a problem but functional and tables part, i need help on. Can anyone pls guide me a bit.
    thanks in advance,

    Hi
this is to inform you that,
So my question is that while running this billing due list, it should not add consignments order to it .but I donu2019t know what is problem in configuration or master data selecting consignment order also.
you have two solutions for it:
a.a. either change the number ranges for it - this could be a problem because you have already raised plenty of billing document for both orders.
a.b. i think billing number ranges are same here for consignment process and standard sales order.
you can differenciate thru small piece of code in the program SDBILLDL stating that if sales order is OR then it should take that billing document alone and it has to leave consignment billing documents.
hope this helps to clear you issue.

  • VKM1 not showing consignment orders

VKM1 not showing drop ship consignment fill up orders. We use Item Category ZTSP ( 3rd party item cateogry with Credit active check in VOV7) for KB ( consignment fill up) orders. Once after order created, system is doing automatic credit check and it shows credit blocked under SO header status tab. Where as these orders are not appeaing in VKM1.
for normal items it is working fine. What triggers this????

I got the problem through debug, index table V_VMVAH not updated due GBSTK field. GBSTK will be updated when you have delivery or billing relevant item. I change the billing relevance for my item category from Proforma to billing (F).  This solved the problem. Thanks.

  • Order value in a vendor consignment

    Hello all,
I need your help about the order value in a vendor consignment !
How is it possible to show the current order value in each consignment order ?  I do know the transaction MB54, in which I can choose the  material and the plant, but that is not enough.
Is it possible to show the item value directly in each Consignment order? I know that the item category k does not allow any assignment. At this time the value of an item in my order is not shown.
I would like to have an overview of the accounts payable which I have to pay at the end of the period.
    Many thanks in advance.
    Mellyy

    Hello,
Please execute the transaction MRKO with display option (in selection screen)  to know the payable at the end of a period. Since you are not liable to pay for Vendor consignment PO's after the receipt, SAP will not show the price in the PO. If you still want to know the consignment PO price, you may create a custom report or a query.
    Thanks,
    Venu

  • Static credit check: credit limit exceeded for consignment issue delivery

    Hi,
We are encountering a credit limit exceeded error in delivery creation for a consignment issue.
In SPRO config "Credit limit check for order types", no credit limit check is assigned to the order type. However, there is one assigned for the delivery type. Also, for CCAr/Risk cat./CG combination in OVA8 (Auto Credit Block Delivery), static credit check has been activated with error message reaction. Open orders and open deliveries were also activated. Customer exceeded credit exposure but user cannot release the order in any VKMx transactions as no credit limit check is assigned to the order type.
Given that this is the current setup, and the following conditions:
    1. Credit limit for the customer cannot be increased
    2. Oldest open item cannot be cleared just yet
Is there any way that we can proceed with delivery creation for this customer? The other order types have credit limit check so credit management team was able to release them. However, we are unsure on how to proceed with this consignment order. Kindly advise and thank you in advance for your help.

We are encountering a credit limit exceeded error in delivery creation for a consignment issue.
but user cannot release the order in any VKMx transactions as no credit limit check is assigned to the order type.
Looks contradictory and it may need to run report RVKRED77 to reorganization of open credit values. Try to run the report in test system and then run in production system. After running the report, the use must be able to release in VKM* transaction.

  • Restrict Sales Order Creation for Serial Numbers already in Sles Order/Sold

We have recently implemented variant configuration and usage of serial numbers.
Facing some problems because of this.
    1. If a Material is in Stock e.g Material xyz and serial number 123
System allows us to create sales order and Deliver and Invoice Serial number 124.
I have activated Indicator: Serial Number Existence Requirement thru OIS2. However it solves only part of my problem.
If for Material xyz serial number 123 is in stock but serial number 124 has also been created and assigned to material xyz but not in stock, then system allows me to create sales order, delivery and billing for material xyz and serial number 124.
When I check MMBE I see zero stock when I click on serial number I see serial 123, which is inconsistent.
How to ensure that such a situation does not happen?
Also I do not want the system to create a sales order for a material for which sales order has been created.
e.g. for material xyz and serial 1234 if sales order exists then system should not allow creation of another sales order for the same combination.
However in case of consignment orders the system should allow only the logical transactions like consignment fill up or consignment returns.
    Please help.

    Hi
This is nothing but Creating Roles  and assigning the respective authorizations to the Roles  for giving the access to the related Tcodes
This has to be done by basis people
    using the Transactions
    PFCG
    SU21
    SUIM
such that every user can not create the sales order or change it.

  • Consignment issues,delivery,return.plese guide customise

    hi,
    consignment problem and customise.

    Hi,
The consignment process in SAP standard consist of four small processes:
Consignment fill-up (send materials to customer consignment).
Here you have a consignment fill-up order and a consignment fill-up delivery.
Consignment issue (issue materials from customer consignment to the customer).
Here you have a consignment issue order, consignment issue delivery and a consignment issue invoice. (the flow is very similar to a normal OR flow, but the materials are issued from the consignment stock instead of plant stock unrestricted).
Consignment return (return materials from customer ownership to customer consignment).
Here you have a consignment return order, consignment return delivery and a consignment return invoice. (the flow is very similar to a normal RE flow, but the materials are returned to the consignment stock instead of plant stock returns).
Consignment pickup (pickup consignment stock and move it to plant stock).
Here you have a consignment pickup order and a consignment pickup delivery.
Note that in consignment fillup and consignment pickup there are no invoices since there is no change of ownership for the materials.
How to perform a consignment order?
In consignment orders you are allowing the stock to sit in your customer location. Once he informs that he used the stock you will invoice him. If he returns the stock you will accept the stock to take it back.
It is defined in 4 steps.
    1. Consignment fill up:
    Sales document type is KB
    Item category KBN
    shedule line category E1
In this step, you are not invoicing the customer. document flow is sales order -
delivery item category. It will not be relevent for billing and pricing because you are not charging money for these goods in this step.
In schedule line category, you will set movement type 631 & set for availability check and TOR.
    2. Consignment Issue.
Once the customer informed you that he used all the goods or partial goods then you will create consignment issue for used goods.
    Sales document: KE
    Item category: KEN
shedule line category: C0 or C1
Here you are invoicing the customer(because he used the goods). you are assigning the delivery documnt and billing document to the sales document.
In item category, you are setting relevent for billing, pricing, special stock.
In schedule line category, your setting is 633 movement type, relevent for availability check & TOR.
    3. Consignment Return:
Customer found that some goods are damaged or he not able to sold the goods he want to send it back. that you are creating this document.
    Sales document type: KR
    Item category: KRN
    Shedule line category: D0
You will assign delivery document and billing to sales document. you will create return order, return delivery, return billing.
Your setting item category relevent for billing, returns, pricing, special stock.
Your setting schedule line item category: 634 movement type, NO availability NO TOR.
    4. Consignment Pick up:
Even if you create the consignment return the goods are not come to direct to your plant. For that you need to create consignment pick up. here the owner ship is not changing so you do not need to create billing.
Assign retrun delivery to sales document type.
    Sales document: KA
    Item category: KAN
    schedule line category: F0 & F1
Your setting item category relevent for returns. any shedule line category relevent for 632 movement type, MRP, availability check, delivery.
Now you check your plant stock. Stock will increase.
    Regards,
    Abhee.
