EEM not releasing ttys (and I am using end and exit.???)

Hello,
I have a eem configured to run a few commands, one of which I had to write as a tcl script as I had an issue with the syntax.
Trouble is it is not releasing the ttys so I get the 'no tty lines available, minimum of 2 required by EEM', which is a terrible shame as when this runs it is simply excellent.

Anyone got any ideas, I have been banging my head against a brick wall, and it has "started to bleed" to I thought I would post something up
Thanks in advance.

If anyone comes across this check this link out
https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-12757#EEM_and_AAA_Command_Authorization
And look at making reference to a specific AAA methods, as you would say if you were making a 'default' for EEM.  This may be useful.

  • Function Module not released yet. Has anybody used them in their programs?

    Hi
I am trying to use the barcode functionality during a goods movement 101 (using MIGO). As we donu2019t have any control of SAPu2019s barcode functionality thru configuration in MIGO I have developed a custom popup and I am calling this in a BADI implementation MB_MIGO_BADI. Once the user enters the barcode then I call Function module ARCHIV_BARCODE_GLOBAL to save the barcode to the standard tables.
This Function module is not released to the customers and it was last changed on 11/12/2004.
My question is should I be using this Function module in my BADI implementation even though it is not released (does not have a release date) ?. Has anyone of have used a unreleased Function module in your programs?.
    Additionally I need this info
I am using ECC 5.0. If anyone of you is using ECC 6.0 or higher can you please check and let me know if this FM ARCHIV_BARCODE_GLOBAL is released or not or when was it last changed.
Please advice me at you earlist
    Thanks of your time
    SHraj

    Hi,
We are not using the above FM. But I can give some Info from ECC 6.0.
In ECC 6.0 the above FM is realeased for customers.
    Last changed on:28.12.2004 18:28:16.
You can use the same code in ur Z function module.

    hi guys,
i just change my undo and drop the previous 1.
    create undo tablespace UNDOTBS4 DATAFILE '/u03/oradata/starhub/undotbs4.dbf' size 2g;
    Tablespace created.
    SQL> ALTER SYSTEM SET UNDO_TABLESPACE = undotbs4;
    System altered.
    SQL>  drop tablespace undotbs3 including contents and datafiles;
    Tablespace dropped.
    SQL>
However, when i check my diskspace using df -h , it is still showing. 32 gig is used. where infact, only 30G should be used.
    71G 32G 37G 47% /u03
when i check using du -h, it is showing only
    30G ./oradata
I have to bounce the database to get my 2G back, why ?
Is there anyway to get my 2G back without bouncing the DB ?

  • Problem removing bluetooth stack / hidden devices / COM ports not released

    Hi
Having problem completely removing Toshiba Bluetooth stack / hidden devices / com ports not released
    I uninstalled Toshiba BT s/w...
    But:
    1) Toshiba BT hidden devices still appear and I can not remove (get error)
    2) COM ports occupied by Toshiba BT not released (so they cannot be used by another BT stack) and still appear in registry
ex: friendly name Toshiba BT Port (COM4) still in registry
    3) These unreleased com ports do NOT appear in device manager
    Thanks

It seems that you still have some configurations which were not removed during the uninstallation.
This means that the resources can not be release, because those are still necessary in case of a
    new installation of the stack.
The first I would try is the following:
    - Install the latest Toshiba Bluetooth stack.
    - Uninstall it. Ensure that you answer all questions with "yes" ! This means also the one which asks if all configurations should be removed.
    - Reboot
    - Check again

I met some problem after a system update.
My wii-remote doesn't work well when i try to reconnect it with xbmc-wiiremote.
It will keep writing some error message to /var/log/xbmc-wiiremote.log until the disk get full (file size >9GB ).

If the log file is still in use, it doesn't get physically deleted until the last program using it, closes it.  Using "truncate" instead of "rm" should work to free some space.

  • Inbound delivery created for not released purchase order

    Scenario from an IS-Retail system:
We have created purchase orders (from vendor to DC) and allocation store order (type AL - an STO from DC to stores) through the allocation table (WA02).
After GR was posted for the PO, we then delivery do the merchandise distribution through WF50 (i.e. create inbound deliveries fro the SO).
The issue is even though the store order (allocation order type AL) is not yet released, we are able to create deliveries through WF50 for those store orders.
We are able to create deliveries even though the purchase order (store order) is not released through WF50.
But using VL10B or D, it works fine, we are able to create inbound deliveries only after release of the purchase order.
Any idea what could be wrong?

    Hi Roselyne,
What you experienced is standard system behavior. Inbound delivery type is uniquely assigned to confirmation control key. You can only specify confirmation control key on item level in PO. The assignment of Delivery type can be seen in the following table:
    T163D
    IBTYP EBTYP LFART  RETDLV
    1        AB                      X
    2        LA        EL           X
    3        GW       EG
The field T163D-IBTYP is checked in different programms. For example in programm RM06ENAB (TA: ME92F). If you insist to customize the determination of delivery type by PO type, I strongly suggest you discuss with the Application consultants before making the modifications to ensure it won't impact other areas.

  • Clicked Touchpad does not release.

With lent words from another thread: “Yesterday my touchpad would suddenly act as if I was holding it down, thus dragging stuff around the screen.”
First, a click does not release anymore.
Second I used a mouse and read, that updating the SL may repair this.
    Third I updated.
Then: Nor the pad worked, nor the mouse are working.
    What to do, please? Re-installing?

    Karl Pfeiffer (.at) wrote:

I'm not sure I understand. Did the update make it worse?
Last: I can not boot from the Tiger DVD, not from the (dropped in) Leopard, not from the Snow DVD, not from the internal nor fom an external drive.
Writing controled per Wacom Bluetooth Tablet…
Sorry, I don't understand. You cannot boot from anything except the BT Wacom tablet, but the MBP will work fine with that?
Some keyboard/trackpad issues are caused by the ribbon cable between the battery and the inside of the the battery compartment. Try removing the battery and booting with just the power cord attached, and see if the keyboard/trackpad work this way.

    hi friend
I am using advanced version of jdk. i i have used many other jar files like mysqlconnector, logging, commonhttpclient, etc.... the only problem is with mail.jar. that locks are released when its use completed, but the lock holds until tomcat shutdown in mail.jar.
    what may be the reason?

  • OIM 11g using too much memory and not releasing it when shutting down

    Hello,
we have a problem with OIM 11g using too much memory (about 5gb) and it's not releasing it at shutdown (4gb still used).
We are using a VM with RedHat Linux 5.6. Originally we had 4gb RAM + 2gb swap file. We installed Admin Server, OAM, OIM and SOA on that machine but quickly realised we couldn't run all 4 programs at once in 6gb. AdminServer could run with 2 other products, but it was a tight fit in memory.
So we increased the RAM to 8gb (still 2gb swap file). But then our problem occured : I start the Admin Server (2.7gb total memory used), then OAM (4.6gb total memory used) and then OIM. After it started the server is now using 9.6gb of memory (~300mb of free memory) ! The problem gets even better : after I shut down everything (OIM, OAM, admin server) the "top" command show that there is still 4gb of memory used even tho nothing else is running on the server ! There is absolutely no other process (other than root stuff) running and no other users connected to the machine. After a reboot, it shows 400mb of memory used. I tried restarting the programs and it did the same thing.
Our intuition is that there might be a memory leak or some bug in OIM that might use up almost all the free memory and it's not releasing it upon shutdown. It might have been there before we increased the memory but have not noticed it since memory was already tight.
Anyone encountered the same problem ? Any idea ? Any suggestion to narrow down the problem ?
    Thank you

You can adjust the memory settings for WLS by editing the setSOADomainEnv.sh file that can be found in your /middleware/user_projects/domains/<domain>/bin/ folder. There is an argument called PORT_MEM_ARGS which is used to set your Java memory arguments. This way you can decrease/increase the amount of memory used by each managed server.
I usually type "ps -ef | grep oracle" to see what processes are running by the oracle user. This way the output doesn't get cluttered with root processes.

Release notes for 2.16 states that there was a fix for alerts not being modal. We are using 3.0.6 and are experiencing the same issue; was there a regression to the modal fix. What version needs to be used to make sure that alert messages are modal?

We are trying to determine why alert boxes are not modal
    The fix states it's for Firefox 2.0 - 3.7a1pre
We are using 3.0.6 not the current version of 3.6.13.

Repeating 2.16 release notes since 2.16 was not made available for more than a couple of hours
Fixed bug whereby some alert boxes weren't properly parented/owned. This led to some alerts not being properly modal
with respect to the window/dialog that issued the alert.

  • XML,CLOB  AND MEMORY : CONSUMED BUT NOT RELEASED !!!

    Hi,
I'm working with XMLGEN Package and XSLT Processor to produce XML Document on Oracle 8.1.7.3 server, I use 9i XML and Java packages.
I'm facing the following BIG MEMORY problem :
Environment : I must generate an XML parsed with an XSL document of 80Mo (nearly 22 000 rows),
as XMLGEN is on DOM parsing method, I extract my XML by 500 Rows and I loop until 22 000 rows. I use DBMS_JOB with jobs who read and execute export each minute.
    The algorithme is :
    keeprow=22000
    while keeprow>0
Create 3 clob (DBMS_LOB Package) : one for XSL Sheet, one for XML and one for result
    GetXML (XMLGEN Package)
    Transform in XSL (XSL Processor)
    Write to disk (UTL_FILE Package)
Free the 3 Clob ((DBMS_LOB Package))
    keeprow =keeprow-500
    loop
The problem : The process start at 250Mo ot total memory and END at 1000 Mo of used memory and NEVER RELEASE 1 ko of memory.
So often I get a JavaOutOfMemoryError (I've allocated 1Go Ram to my JAVA process).
Any help will be very very appreciated !
My derived problem is 22 000 rows is not enough I've some export of 200 000 rows to do (And I cannot allocate 10 Go of RAM !!!)
    Following My PL/SQL Code.

Thank you for the info - I had no idea I was puing myself in danger by cutting it so close.  Since your post I have moved my iphoto library to an external drive and now have 165 GB of space on my HD.  Following this I have 2 questions.
    1.  Since my available HD space was reduced by the size of the photo download it seems logical that the download is somewhere on my HD still.  Is there a place where these photos might be hiding on my HD even though they are not available on the iphoto library?
    2.  I was able to recover the .jpg files which are fine.  I also recovered the .mov files but they have been compromised.  I am hoping I can find the originals still on the HD somewhere.  If not, do you have any suggestions for recovery methods or programs?  I have not used the SD card since the incident so I should be able to attempt another recovery to salvage the .mov files if there is an alternative method/program available.
    Thanks again!

Premiere Elements 13 issue with the mouse on MAC OSX Yosemite 10.10.1
When I select a clip of video and move to a different place in my time line, Premiere Elements 13, will not release the clip from the mouse.
The clip follows my mouse movements and goes to other places in my time line.
I try to delete these extra insertions, but the mouse will not release the clip.
Action I’ve taken: I’ve re-installed Premiere Elements 13. Problem remains.
This issue has consumed too much of my time and does not go away.  It ruins my video.
    Help please.
    Thanks

I tried using the Guest Account on my Mac. In the Guest Account, Illustrator works perfect!
Then I started wondering what processes (tools/tweaks) I run by default on my account. Turned out the problem was called by a little background tool called RightZoom. RightZoom let's the green 'zoom' button always maximize your current window.
    So thanks! Problem solved!
